The location was fantastic. Some staff are nice.

While courteous to me, I was stunned to watch the receptionist be downright rude and dismissive of an Uber Eats delivery driver trying to ensure one of the hotel guest received their order. The hotel calls itself boutique but the rickety elevators, scuffed floors and furniture, poorly trained housekeeping staff (tried to entire my room at 9 am on Sunday morning despite so not disturb sign and thus disrupted an important video conference with government of a gulf country). Severely overpriced are more akin to that of a cheap roadside motel. Severely overpriced room at over CAD 300 a night!

A good location and a large room.

Our room, number 209, was right above the flood lights outside the building. It lit up the room all night. The hotel room was nice but it was showing its age. This was disappointing given the high price we paid.

Me anularon la reserva hecha, unos minutos antes de mi llegada (me retrasé por salida tardía del vuelo), según ellos por problemas con la tarjeta. Tuve que volver a hacer la reserva en el hotel y por un importe superior a la de mi reserva original en Booking (pagando con la tarjeta que supuestamente tenía problemas)

There was always a lineup for the elevator. Two things that slow it down are that they are shared with housekeeping and you have to use your pass card in the elevator to activate the elevator to go to your floor. Not the end of the world. But a bit annoying, especially considering the price. It was a bit overpriced...by about 15-20%.

pipe maintenance lead to whole day no washroom usage. i went with family and toddler. so they could not go for any washroom activity. it was a mess for us.

L'emplacement était parfait pour nous. Pas complétement au centre mais proche des centres d'interêts. Le parking se trouve juste sous l'hotel ce qui est très pratique.

La porte de la salle de bain (et des WC) était une porte coulissante avec un espace important avec le mur et ne laissant pas une grande intimité avec le reste de la chambre. De plus cette porte présentait un défaut et rendait son utilisation très compliquée. Sur l'extérieur de la fenêtre, il y avait d'énormes toiles d'araignées avec de belles araignées qui se baladaient sur la fenêtre... ce qui a complétement effrayé ma fille. La taille des lits. Attention, il y a une différence entre le Queen Size ''européen'' et celui Canadien. Je pense qu'il s'agissait de lit 140X190cm. Donc 2 Grands Lits Queen-Size se traduit en 2 lits plutôt petit au final.

We had a very pleasant stay at Le Nouvel Hotel in Montreal. The staff were kind and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A comfortable and positive experience overall.

Já se passaram 4 dias e ainda não foi estornado. Já mandei e-mail, mensagem pelo booking e não resolve. É um transtorno. Os outros hotéis que fiquei em Toronto no momento do check-out já entorna o valor debitado.

I feel very secure because the elevator only operates with the key card. The shower facilities are excellent, esp. the showerheads! There is a water machine that lets me refill my water bottle for free! As well as an ice machine, which is really great in the summer. The staff is very polite and helpful; she explained everything clearly. And the room was very spacious.

Relativ ruhige Lage, trotz Hauptstraße vor der Tür. Man kann ziemlich gut zu Fuß los (ca. 30 min zum Mount Royal) und auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen. Easy vom Flughafen angebunden mit Buslinie 747. Sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer immer Top sauber gehalten.

Die Badezimmertür war eher ein Designobjekt als dass sie wirklich funktionieren würde (eine Holzschiebetür). Air Condition wie üblich in Nord Amerika ziemlich laut, aber man konnte auch ohne die Nacht gut überleben.

La grandeur du loft était parfaite beaucoup de serviette mini cuisine vraiment pratique très grande tv et le tout confortable .l'emplacement parfait a coté de tout les services bar épicerie restaurant.

J'ai été extrêmement déçu par la fermeture de la piscine durant mes 4 jours si j'avais su j'aurais pris quelques chose dans un autre hôtel mon budget était très bon je pouvais me le permettre .

Visited Montreal in early August, mainly to see the finale of the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition. To anyone who has not been, I would hihly recommend this, as the finale is always a great demonstration of fireworks, all set to music. This year they aded laser portions. Montreal is a fairly compact city to travel around. The main highlights are located in the old city and Port of Montreal, which is easy to access by transit or a nice walk from the centre(Ville-Marie) through Chinatown. For those interested in European influence, you will fin that in the buildings, food and atmosphere. It can be very hot and humid here, but most days have a nice breeze blowing in off the river.

The room was spacious, with facilities, on-site car rental, and a personal bath and shower.

Stayed in one of the renovated condo suites located in the adjacent building, which is connected to the main hotel by an indoor corridor. Some previous guests mentioned feeling disconnected from the main hotel because of the separate building, but I didn't find this to be an issue at all and it had no impact on the quality of my stay. The building is shared with permanent residents, and the elevators are used by both residents and hotel guests. On my floor there was a mix of residential and hotel units. The hallway had a lingering cigarette smell, but fortunately the odour did not carry into the suite itself. The room was clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was quiet throughout my 4-night stay with no noise disturbances. When I needed a remote battery replaced and the shampoo refilled, both requests were handled very quickly. I also appreciated the pleasantly fragrant toiletries and the excellent water pressure from the shower panel. The suite had plenty of light fixtures, although they were on the dim side, making the room feel a little dark. The location is very convenient, within walking distance of both Guy-Concordia (Green Line) and Lucien-L'Allier (Orange Line) metro stations, and Bus 150 stops directly across from the hotel. One nice amenity is the water bottle filling station in the main lobby, although it is a bit of a walk from the condo suites if you prefer refilling your bottle rather than drinking tap water. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

I'm rating this hotel 4 stars because it gave me exactly what I needed, which was an easy place to stay for 1 night when I visited Montreal for a music festival with my daughter. If you are coming in from the West, the hotel is easier to access (and cheaper) then hotels that are more east/central. It's only a short walk to the Guy-Concordia metro stop, which is only 23 minutes from Parc Jean-Drapeau (you change metro lines once). The price was generally better than most other hotels on the Island/in the core. There was no problems checking in at 11:30 pm or storing our luggage until then. And the Concordia area has lots of restaurants to eat at so it makes a good home base. The bathroom was modern and the bed was nice. All in all, it's not 4 star luxury but everything went so well I have to give it 4 stars - for a 1 night concert stay!

Lasty evening our group of 25 had dinner at Novella Ristorante in the Le Nouvel Hotel in Centre-ville Montréal Downtown. Our waitress, yes, one waitress, Clementine, managed all of our orders, including drinks. She did an awesome job! Next, a BIG shoutout to the chef, NIVESH, who managed to whip out 25 different and delicious dishes in record time. We were all impressed by the service and food! I would give this restaurant a “Thumbs up,” 5 stars, and an “0oh, la la!” -St. Gregory the Great, Pilgrims , Whittier, California, USA

Staff was amazing and very helpful. Hotel was clean. They had microwave in the rooms which was helpful. Room had good moving space. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were really good.

The parking was a nightmare and exorbitantly charged. The gate wont open half the time. It was a nightmare entering and exiting the parking everyday. I paid 120$ for 4 nights for parking. I think i could have stayed in a better hotel for that extra money. Dont understand why the hotels dont have a basic fresh cofffee available in the lobby. This is the least any hotel can offer. The bathroom door was shitty and would never close completely. No privacy. If someone opened the main door they can see who is in the bathroom. It was sliding & would never close fully. Wish they also had body lotion bottles fixed in bathroom. The tiny bottles are hard to use. Fridge needs upgrade. Takes forever to cool things.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Barbara, Lucie, Nohora and Luis; the front desk staff who filled our week with warm greetings each morning, excellent directions as we navigated the green and orange Metro lines to our destinations and filled our exchanges with laughter. If you are looking for a central location to explore Montreal, an on site restaurant with good food and service and a staff who will welcome you and make your visit to Montreal memorable; I would highly recommend Le Nouvel Hotel.

Room quality was good for 3 star property. Reception staff were all very helpful. Cheap, convenient and clean.

The door to the toilet was odd. It rolled into place but didn't sit flush. People can here a see in through cracks. I recommend just putting on a normal door or fixing flush. Defo odd.

This is a great hotel to stay at in Montreal. It is downtown and walking distance to St. CATHERINE, CRESCENT, PEEL etc. The rooms are nice and very clean....really well maintained. Check-in was easy, nice restaurant...breakfast is great, the have parking, pool, wifi, nice amenities and suoerb and friendly staff. I'll be back.

We had a great stay at the Nouvel Hotel this summer! First of all, the location is very convenient. Sainte-Catherine Street is just a 5-minute walk away, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and even a grocery store nearby. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're welcomed by the hotel's stunning lobby. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are clean, modern, and recently renovated. There's also a small outdoor pool at the back of the hotel, which is a nice place to relax after a day of exploring the city. Overall, the Nouvel Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown Montreal. We would definitely stay here again.

Chambre confortable et fonctionnelle. Lit et oreillers très bien. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et efficace. L'emplacement est idéal, proche du métro et du centre Bell.

Chambre sur rue, même au 6e étage, très bruyante, la rue devenant un circuit de F1 le soir ou la nuit. L'éclairage extérieur de l'hôtel (spots en façade) se répercute dans la chambre, même avec les tentures fermées. Nous n'avons pas demandé à changer de chambre mais nous sommes certains qu'il n'y aurait pas eu de problème à le faire. Bref, nuits difficiles...

il personale della reception è molto gentile, Barbara è fantastica e insieme a Louis ti aiuta moltissimo a rendere il soggiorno molto piacevole. La struttura è grande e bella, la camera grande ma i mobili non sono nuovissimi. La posizione è nel centro nuovo della città, ma a causa del lavori in rue Sainte-Catherine praticamente intorno all' hotel non c'è niente, e le fermate della metropolitana sono a circa 800 metri di distanza. la colazione non è inclusa e quindi non abbiamo provato

Location was good. Staff were great. Room left something to be desired. Draped did not actually close to shut out morning light. Kitchen had utensile sets for 3, but did not have a sponge and dish soap at first. Our first room, the bathroom light did not work. We had to get moved. Our second room, the one of the closet doors (on rails) was off and broken. We did not bother complaining about that. Beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure.

Staying at the hotel gives you pool access, but no pool towels.

La struttura è molto accogliente e il personale super gentile. Presenza della macchinetta del caffè nespresso nella stanza erogatore di acqua gratis nella hall molto utile e comoda. Posizione non male, non centralissima

Pulizia giornaliera della stanza molto approssimativa. Posizione non proprio centrale. Si trova a 40 minuti a piedi circa dalla old Montreal, 1 ora di camminata dall’oratorio San Giuseppe, 1 ora dal quartiere mile end…premetto che Montreal è immensa e difficile trovare un hotel che sia vicino a tutto. Tuttavia se tornassi indietro lo sceglierei un Po più vicino alla old Montreal.

Großes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Safe, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank etc. - WiFi sehr gut - komfortable Betten, gutes Bad incl. Föhn. Dame am CheckIn war sehr freundlich und übermittelte viele Informationen.

Die Klimaanlage war sehr schwer zu regulieren bzw. auszuschalten. Es half nur dad Steckerziehen...

There was strong smoking smell from one of the near by apartments, the AC didnt work we couldnt turn it on or off or control, so we asked to just disconnect it. It was abit not clean, ceiling had dust hanging and a bit dusty. Sinks and showers was barely draining which didnt allow us to wash dishes normally or shower without making it overflow. I did mention it to the receptionist and she gave us two days of free parking (30$ a day). But overall the stay was good and even with what I mentioned it was OK.

Excelente ubicacion , amplia habitacion y unas camas muy comodas y grandes como hacia tiempo no veia .. Tuvimos una orientacion a la parte de atras y fue magnifica porque no habia ruido de la calle . La ducha una maravilla . En general una estancia magnifica y recomiendo este Hotel para visitar Montreal sin duda si regreso me alojare en el.

El desayuno no esta en linea con el resto del Hotel , no se si al estar en obras en algunos salones lo han ubicado en otra zona pero estaba muy de paso y nada acorde con el precio que nos dijeron , fuimos el primer dia para verlo y no nos quedamos .

The location was quite central to everywhere I wanted/ needed to go. The staff was very helpful which was much appreciated and they worked hard to make our stay comfortable.

The TV in our room wasn’t working properly and so we were unable to watch movies. This was no fault of the hotel but rather the movie service provider. The hotel sent two technicians to solve the problem on two occasions but the problem was from “outside” . Having movies would have been helpful as my husband was recovering from surgery. We were unaware that the hotel restaurant was being renovated before we booked. My husband’s mobility was quite limited and we had planned to eat in this restaurant at least once (we had a kitchenette in our room). Although the food was good, the alternate setting was like a cafeteria. A little disappointing.

Localisation très pratique pour arriver depuis l'aéroport (arrêt de bus tout proche), très près du centre ville pour se balader, supermarché pour le ravitaillement à 100 m. En prime, l'agence de location de voitures pour partir découvrir le Québec est directement dans le hall! aucun problème pour laisser les bagages en garde avant l'étape suivante.

Grande chambre familiale mais équipement un peu juste pour les 4 personnes prévues si on veut manger dans la chambre avec coin cuisine équipée.

My wife and I stayed in an Admiral Loft #132 for 4 nights in early April 2026. Unit needed maintenance on kitchenette faucets, bathroom faucet handles would spin 360 degrees when using them. Tried to use the jetted spa tub on our last night - faucet handle fell off in my hand and the jets did not work - maintenance was contacted and confirmed all the issues we had - we were offered to charge rooms but we were leaving next morning at 4:00 am for an early flight - so no point in doing that. We were told hotel manger would reach out to offer compensation the next day - but he did not - I had to contact him myself the following day - he did offer to refund 1 night’s stay after some negotiations. Also the on-site restaurant was under renovation and closed - back entrance was also under construction and not accessible - doors were removed and pallets of tiles were stacked in guest walking areas - not ideal. Not a great experience for us and we would not recommend staying here.

Unfortunately, I did a review and was very disappointed with many things and equipment that were broken. Place under construction and were not advised about this prior to arrival. But trip adviser refused to let me submit the review stating I used profanity, which was not true. Must be getting a kick back from the hotel. Under construction, no restaurant, no bar, front door closed off, vending machine not working properly and steals your money, bathroom door broken, no curtain to close out sun light, female hair on bathroom towels, shower wand broken and unable to adjust.
