I woke up one morning and had three insect bites on my hand and two on my arm. I also had one behind my ear. I did not have any insect bites before I went to bed or throughout the day. Also, the chairs in the lobby and the seating to eat were so worn. The fabric had come apart on the chairs.

Michael at the front desk and Anthony at the Calypso restaurant are amazing. Their incredible service exceeded expectations. The breakfast is so delicious and the breakfast staff are friendly, kept the tables clean and are happy to assist anyone to keep everything running smoothly. Having a private beach across the street is a welcome bonus. We rate our overall experience 5+. We will be back!

We ate at the Calypso restaurant twice. Anthony was so attentive and his service was excellent, however, the food was not as good as the breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the hotel.

Extremely outdated does not match the photos, staffing was low, A/c in the rooms seemed to stop working in the night.

The breakfast was good, the second room we were moved to, and bed were comfortable, the staff was very accommodating. I liked the close proximity to the beach as well.

Our first room had issues with the a/c, was not blowing cool air. And the "water view " was not a real view. It was only a peek at the water between the trees.

I haven’t been in at the hotel before so I chose it again for the location and the cleanliness of the room

First, the staff has been changed; there was a young lady who was very rude and unwilling to help customers, making multiple mistakes. She charged my credit card for the entire stay, totaling $1600.60. And when I called her to fix the problem, she said she was not able to do anything, and I had to speak to the manager. In the morning, I went to the front desk and asked for the manager. There was a gentleman there who helped me, and he said it’s an easy fix and we don’t need the manager's report, and he knew what she did. She charged me on the card instead of the third-party, which is cooking.com. Second, the hotel is outdated and definitely in need of renovation. The power went out due to some rain and we spent an hour in pitch black, the hotel didn’t even have a generator to light the hallways😏

Terrible from the moment that we arrived, their systems were down and could not check in for hours. We’re called and told our room it was ready arrived and In fact was not ready. Hotel is in desperate need of renovations dirty worn down flies at breakfast we woke up in the morning to the AC of the hotel being out which we decided then we were checking out. Would never stay at this location again!!!!!

Service desk not being helpful in the afternoon to evening some nights. The phone would ring and ring but we’d go down to the desk and the worker just was not answering the phone. Frustrating when it could’ve been resolved over the phone.

Achei que falta claridade no quarto, iluminacao um pouco ruim, faltam hangers para pendurar as toalhas. O cafe da manha è muito limitado. So agrada aqueles q comem bacon e ovos pela manhã. Basicamente nao tem muitas opcoes alem disso. As cadeiras do hotel estao todas descascando e as mesas do cafe da manha sao todas meladas. A piscina é quase inexistente e a a academia bem fraca. Eu esperava mais de um Embassy suites.

The property was old and ran down. The furniture on the outside and in the lobby and restaurant area needs to be replaced. It was raggedy, dirty, and outdated. I couldn’t believe a Hilton property would have such ran down and old furniture in its hotel. I wouldn’t even send that furniture to Goodwill that’s how bad it was. I wish I had of taken photos of the bar area and buffet area furniture and outside furniture. It was disgusting.

I am extremely disappointed with the condition of this hotel, especially considering how expensive our stay was. The property is clearly in desperate need of maintenance and renovation. Our biggest issue was the air conditioning. The AC was not working properly, and we were moved to different rooms twice because of the problem. After all of that inconvenience, instead of having someone properly fix the AC, we were given a small fan that was full of dust. This was completely unacceptable, especially in the Florida heat. Unfortunately, the AC was only one of many problems. The room and hotel showed obvious signs of poor maintenance. The bathroom door was badly damaged and peeling, with what looked like a poorly repaired patch in the middle. The bedroom curtain was ripped in multiple places, the bathtub area had visible staining and signs of wear, and the bathroom fixtures were not properly maintained. The air vent was absolutely filthy and covered in thick dust buildup, which was especially concerning considering we were already having problems with the air conditioning. Even the towel bar had visible rust and damage. These are not small cosmetic issues. When you are paying for an expensive hotel stay, you expect a room that is clean, comfortable, functional, and properly maintained. Instead, we spent part of our trip dealing with room changes, a broken AC, and unacceptable room conditions. The one positive part of our experience was the front-desk staff. Cecile was very kind, polite, and provided good customer service. I truly appreciate her attitude and the effort she did to help us. My frustration is not with the front-desk employees, but with the overall condition and maintenance of the property. This stay was extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth the price. The photos speak for themselves. Management needs to seriously address the maintenance, cleanliness, and condition of the rooms. I would not recommend staying here in its current condition.

The shower leaked a little…but excellent water pressure. The hook on the bathroom door was about to come off. I couldn’t hang up my pjs. The bar closed too early. Some flies around the breakfast food. Check in every 3 days… we were on vacation! We are old folks just wanted to enjoy by ourselves with no interruptions from staff except when we needed to replenish towel, etc. Should have a discount for seniors.

I stayed there for 5 nights and 6 days. Somehow A/C in the bedroom is not effective as the vents are located far. Also same breakfast option with no change at all.. so you feel bored and eat out. You need to clearly request the house keeping service if you have Pet. Else they will skip and cleaning your room will not be great.

It was a great location

My first room was getting water in it from the heavy rain. And we had to move. The second room was getting water in it as well so had to move again. Your front office staff was great and handled everything well however it was a huge inconvenience. I was traveling with my daughter and husband and by the third move my husband was looking for somewhere else to stay. The property needs to be revamped.

To start off when we first arrived there was only one person working the front desk with several people waiting in line for a long time. There was another woman at the front desk doing absoulutey nothing! Very dated and furniture in room was damaged. Carpert in corridors was old and buckling. Lock on beach access was broken, so everyone was using it. For the price we paid I expected a lot more bang for my buck!!! Being a hilton hornors member I expect better from Hilton!! At bottom of survey it says I rated 3 stars which is incorrect 2 stars at best!!

Breakfast is better when it comes out fresh and lines everywhere you go , the rooms has cracks but it’s is a old hotel so you get what u pay for , they double charge you before you get there and after one for if your late an the other is if you take any of their towels yes they count towels you take and if you return them . This is an old hotel located across the street from the beach. The hotel is dated and its age shows, if that matters to you. We had a broken shower head that needed to be replaced and one day water service was interrupted due to plumbers being onsite. The staff was generally bothered by my presence, which was capped off by the desk agent being annoyed with me at checkout because I wanted a printed bill. Not bad if you’re on a budget, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

I recently redeemed one of my annual Hilton Free Night Certificates for a stay at the Embassy Suites on Miramar Beach in Destin, Florida. These certificates are a valuable Hilton Honors benefit that I typically save for special occasions, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, this stay was a disappointment from the moment I entered the hallway. Although designated as non-smoking, the room carried a lingering odor that smelled more like an attempt to mask years of cigarette smoke than a truly fresh, clean room. The property itself showed significant wear. Hallway carpets were so worn that sections of the original pattern had disappeared, and the power outlets built into the table lamps were so loose and worn that chargers would not stay connected. The biggest letdown, however, was the evening Manager’s Reception—a signature Embassy Suites benefit that many guests look forward to. As the attached photo shows, the entire snack offering consisted of tortilla chips, pretzels, Goldfish crackers, salsa, and a creamy dipping sauce. For a beachfront Embassy Suites in one of Florida’s premier vacation destinations, this felt far below the standard that loyal Hilton guests have come to expect. I don’t share this lightly. As a Diamond member I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties over the years and have remained loyal to the brand. That’s exactly why this experience was so disappointing. A free night certificate should showcase the brand at its best—not leave guests questioning whether the property is being properly maintained. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was extremely disappointed with this property. I chose this hotel for a couples trip and honestly felt like I let our group down because it did not come close to meeting the expectations created by the reviews or the Hilton brand. First, I want future guests to be aware that this hotel is not truly oceanfront. The website and room descriptions gave the impression that we were booking an oceanfront room, but the hotel is actually across the street from the beach. Yes, we could see the ocean from our room, but that's very different from being directly on the ocean. That felt misleading and was a major disappointment from the start. The check-in experience didn't help matters. The front desk associate who assisted us was impatient and unfriendly, making us feel more like an inconvenience than valued guests, and didn't recognize me as a Hilton Honors member. The biggest issue was the property's overall condition and cleanliness. While I understand that hotels near the ocean deal with salt air and wear and tear, maintenance still matters. There was visible rust throughout the property—in the guest room, bathroom fixtures, shower areas, and common spaces. The caulking and trim looked neglected, and several areas appeared overdue for renovation. The lobby seating areas and carpets looked dirty and heavily worn. The outdoor furniture around the pool was stained and in poor condition. Throughout the hotel, everything felt dated and tired rather than refreshed and well-maintained. One guest in our group discovered stains on the bedding and contacted the front desk to request replacement linens. Despite reporting the issue, no one ever came to address it. That was unacceptable and left a very negative impression. For the nightly rate being charged, I expected a property that was much better maintained. Instead, it felt like a hotel that has been operating on reputation while postponing needed updates and renovations. The only bright spot of our stay was the complimentary breakfast, which was actually very good. Unfortunately, even the evening reception was disappointing, with limited drink options and very little offered compared to other Embassy Suites properties we've visited. Overall, this hotel fell far short of both the reviews I read and the standards I've come to expect from Hilton. Until significant renovations and improvements are made, I would choose another property for a beach vacation. Rating: 2/5 – Giving two stars only because the breakfast was good and the staff in the breakfast area were pleasant. Everything else was a disappointment.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had, great variety and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly! On top of buffet there were chefs making fresh eggs and omelets as well as avocado toast…so delicious! The room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable.

The pool area was super small, not very accommodating considering the size of the hotel. While the rooms were somewhat nice there was a lot of things that need to be repaired, a lot of worn furniture and woodwork but the bed was comfy so I was able to look past that. The hotel definitely needs a remodel mainly when it comes to furniture in rooms and lobby. Other than that it’s nice.

Die Lage zum Strand und zum Outlet Shoppingcenter ist absolut fantastisch. Der Strand ist mit dem feinen Quarzsand etwas absolut einmaliges und einfach nur wunderschön. Auch die Farben im Meer. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und hat ein fantastisches Frühstücksbüffet. Der Parkplatz ist gratis, das war wunderbar. Wir hatten einen super tollen kurzen Aufenthalt und würden das nächste Mal gerne länger bleiben.

Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel eingerichtet und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es war aber alles super gepflegt und sauber.
