We had all the conveniences of home, washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, etc. We like to pack very light and save money not eating out, so this was a nice plus.

Nothing I didn't really like. Had a little trouble figuring out the shower and microwave, but that's just because they were ones I wasn't used to, but no big deal.

Lovely room, some homely touches, good shower, excellent location, so near the old town.

Absolutely terrible internet, essential when travelling, had an emergency back home and couldn’t communicate efficiently. Couldn’t do anything involving internet, worst we’ve had in over 2 months of travelling.

Excellent location, room had everything needed. Staff very friendly & helpful. Very clean.

The furniture in our particular room was a bit tired.

Property is a short walk from Royal Mile and is well located. Apartment seemed to be recently refurbished. All bed covers were white and clean. Hardware floors . Sofa was a light beige and seemed quite clean. Rooms were smallish but had nice windows and lots of sunlight.

Building is not at all glamorous. Entrance is quite sad. Double bed was tiny and the mattress was very soft with no metal frame around it so I kept rolling off. Very uncomfortable. Gave me an awful back ache. Bathroom and bedroom doors kept closing on their own . Obviously floor was slanted. Very annoying specially in the bathroom when you turned away to pick something up and then backed into a door that suddenly closed. Second bathroom had a water heater that had to be turned on in order to shower. Tepid water and only a trickle . In the end we all used the “master” bathroom which was actually smaller than the other. Very small. Kitchen is poorly stocked and very dark as it shares one small window with the living room. No coffee machine ( there is a French press).

Las opciones de cortesía para facilitar hospedaje no son buenas, el resguardo de maletas no es amplio, no hay servicios sanitarios al llegar (cuando aún no estás registrado), no hay opciones de un registro anticipado, el costo es muy alto para amenidades que ofrecen. El resto de mi estadía en Edimburgo decidimos utilizar otra opción de alojamiento.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing and did not justify the very high price. We paid for two nights of parking, yet when we returned on the second night, there was no space available in the designated parking area. The number of parking spaces is extremely limited, and paying for parking clearly does not guarantee that a space will actually be available. We also had repeated problems with the door key cards. The card reader is outdated and unreliable, and we frequently struggled to open the doors. This became very frustrating during our stay. Another serious issue was the bathroom. Water collects on the floor because there is no proper floor drain, which is both inconvenient and unacceptable for accommodation at this price level. What was even more frustrating was the sofa bed. The apartment was clearly advertised as having a sofa bed, so naturally we expected it to be usable as part of the accommodation we had already paid for. However, when we requested bedding for it, we were told that we had to pay an additional fee for every night. This extra charge was not made clear during the booking process and felt very unreasonable. The elevator is also extremely slow, adding to the overall inconvenience. In summary, the apartment is significantly overpriced for its condition, facilities, and level of service. With the parking problems, unreliable key cards, poor bathroom drainage, unexpected extra charges, and slow elevator, the value for money was very poor. I would not consider the stay worth the price we paid.

Het appartement was zeer ruim, en heel netjes.

De eerste badkamer is zeker toe aan vernieuwing. De tweede badkamer stond de ventilatieknop aan het pkafond, voor kleine mensen niet te bereiken. De wc staat veel te hoog, voor kleine mensen niet ok.

Siste dagen da vi skulle reise, ble vi ekspidert av en ansatt som ikke var hjelpsom eller imøtekommende. Hun virket irritert da vi ikke helt forsto hva hun mente i forhold til depositum. Vi spurte også etter kart over byen for å ha med hjem. Det mente hun vi ikke trengte da vi skulle hjem. Ellers veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomt personalet

Appartamenti ampi e con tutti i confort, letti molto comodi e bagni spaziosi. La posizione è strategica essendo praticamente sulla Royal Mile e ogni fan di Outlander sarà contento di trovarsi accanto a un luogo reso famoso dalla serie TV.

I rilevatori di fumo iper sensibili. Scattano anche per il vapore del cibo scaldato.

Posizione ottima, zona tranquilla ma centrale. Camera abbastanza grande e angolo cottura molto attrezzato. Colazione fornita in camera con possibilità di chiedere refil di tutto, buon compromesso.

Abbiamo chiesto le pulizie in camera una sola volta su 5 notti e fatalità per un incidente del personale non l’hanno fatta. Siamo rientrate fortunatamente nel pomeriggio e ce ne siamo accorte (hanno lasciato un avviso) ma abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi il cambio biancheria che avevamo lasciato a terra come da indicazioni. L’imprevisto ci sta, ci mancherebbe, ma forse con un po’ più di organizzazione avrebbero potuto fare loro un check nelle camere e almeno cambiare la biancheria dove a terra. Ad ogni modo niente di grave e non risolvibile.

The area in its immediate surrounding is somewhat scruffy but once ur back under the alley way and on to the royal mile it makes no difference

Although our location was ideal for access to the Royal Mile. This resulted in a quiet restful venue when we were ready to be quiet.

The location was perfect just walking distance from the royal mile… just 2 mins walk.

Overall cleanliness and rooms were good but the rooms were too compact and opening door of one room would just make so much noise disturbing the person in the other room. Like literally even opening door from one would just bang the doors of next room

Excellent location, a stone’s throw from the high street, with many restaurants and shops nearby (Tesco Express 2 minutes away on foot). Very well appointed room, with kitchenette, dishwasher and washer/dryer and room service available upon request. Very comfortable beds. It offered an ideal place to stay for a week.

There was nothing to not like.

Reception is open 24 hours and location is close to downtown.

Had to change rooms as WiFi didn't work in the first one. The lift had a mind of its own, no indicators n erratic movement. We were not informed in advance that "Breakfast Included" meant a kit of cold breakfast requisites stocked in the kitchen and there was no breakfast or dining room fr a hot breakfast !!? Staffing was skimpy and some staff members were not particularly helpful, though some others were ok.

Bestilte og betalte frokost som viste seg å være en liter melk og en flaske appelsinjuice og den største ansamlingen av sukkerholdige og ultraprosseserte matvarer og pålegg jeg opplevd på et brett. (Se bilde). Mitt tips er heller å kjøpe inn sjøl på den lokale Tesco-butikken, 100 m unna. Er ikke superimponert over hjelpen fra personalet i resepsjonen. Da vi ba om ekstra toalettpapir, ble dette levert dagen etterpå. Opplevde ikke at de anstrengte seg for å hjelpe.

When we arrived from International flight they didn’t offer a bathroom we could have used to freshen up. Person who checked us in was not friendly.

The reception staff were the main reason I wouldn’t return no particularly rude but also not welcoming would even say verging on rude. Also the room I was in didn’t look like any of these pictures I’ve definitely stayed in better hotels in Edinburgh with better locations. This hotel was hidden and very back street hidden and honestly run down on appearance

Bien ubicado junto a la calle principal pero apartado de la zona más concurrida. Tiene dos baños, cocina moderna con labavajillas y lavadora-secadora. Tranquilo y silencioso por la noche.

La alarma de incendios se ponía a pitar cuando hacias una tostada. En recepción alguna persona no es especialmente simpatica. La ducha se salia por el suelo ya que sólo tien media mampara. El ascensor muy lento.

Spacious, good location. Local supermarket was nearby. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen.

Showers had low water pressure and were tricky to get constant temperature. Towel rails were too hot to touch. Designated parking places were limited.

Location for a few days at the Fringe is ideal. Reception staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Stayed here before and it suits our needs, e.g. parking space and location. However starting to get a little tired, little things, e.g. internal door sticking, carpets on the stairs getting a little frayed, etc.

The only good thing about the property is the location… Furniture is worn and torn even the carpet on the ground is worn..the photos has nothing to do with reality…there is a TV for 1998 in the room..the floor 2 rooms facing the street directly: zero privacy..value for money: it is a rip off

Nice and Handy to all the attractions and very well designed. The fact that the apartment had two bathrooms was great for our family.

We had a lot of trouble using the washing machine because we had trouble using the QR code and when we did get it the instructions were difficult to follow. We felt that simple step by step instructions on paper would have worked better instead of dealing with mobile and internet reception problems.

The location was great. The staff was lovely.

Our only problem was there was a VERY loud water pump of some sort. The staff didn’t hear it which is difficult to believe. It sounded like it was in the closet in the kitchen. It kept us UP ALL NIGHT every night of our stay which was extremely aggravating. WE WERE VERY GLAD TO LEAVE.

It was clean and has a good location

Customer service could be better. Disappointed in pre pd breakfast option that turned out to be a package of items left in the room at check in that included boxes of cereal, cheese and crackers, milk orange juice and some cookies. I was expected a breakfast room with coffee, fruit and some breads/ pastriess etc.

I recently booked two identical apartments, expecting them to be of the same standard, but they turned out to be completely different in both furniture and layout. The second apartment was significantly smaller, and to make matters worse, the dishwasher and the washing machine were completely broken.The cleanliness of both rooms was absolutely appalling. They were incredibly dirty. I accidentally looked under the beds, and it seemed like they had literally never been cleaned before. The photos on the website are a complete lie and do not match the reality at all. All the equipment and furniture are extremely old, worn-out, and exhausted.On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to say hello to the cleaning lady several times, but she just turned away and ignored me. To top it all off, late one evening, the electricity went out in all the power outlets. When I informed the night porter, he actually told me to fix it myself!The price for these apartments is absolutely astronomical and definitely not worth it. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone!

Se llama aparthotel pero no tiene los servicios de un hotel. El desayuno es escaso, se quedan rápido sin provisiones y no limpian a diario los apartamentos

10 minute walk from Waverley station, building is in the heart of the old town just off the Royal Mile. Accommodation was clean, fully equipped and modern. Very close to a Tesco express. Comfortable nights sleep

Beside student quarters - some messy bin spillage on the road. No ‘netting’ or ‘voile’ on the windows - so room was very exposed when curtains were opened (when needing the natural light to get ready etc). Shower turned cold very quickly, so don’t turn on washing machine or dishwasher at same time as shower and don’t have 2 females washing their hair / shaving legs etc, you will literally need to be in and out to have piping hot water, each room has its own water tank which takes time to heat up. There were some broken cupboard doors but no big deal. The toaster had something weird burnt inside it (we forgot to mention to the desk).

Close to the Royal Mile, staff was helpful when asked. Room had air conditioning. Good breakfast options in room.

Requested 2 twin beds, they were pushed together, so more like 1 queen bed. There was no rubber bathmat in the tub/shower, making it slippery while trying to shower. When we mentioned that to staff on check out, we were told we could have requested a rubber bath mat! Well, if mats were available, why not just supply them or at least let guests know they are available!!!! It’s a major safety issue!! Plus, the appliance instructions they supplied on their Q code, did not include instructions for the oven. Had to have staff come up to show us how to use it!

Laut Buchung war das Frühstück inkludiert. Es gab aber keinen Frühstücksraum, sondern "einzelne Fertigprodukte" sind im Apartment verfügbar gewesen (Toastbroat, Brotaufstriche, ...). Es gab kein frisches Gebäck und keinen Kaffee (auch keine Kaffeemaschine). Sehr hoher Preis!

It’s so convenient and for the most part, has everything you need. It’s nice to have a little kitchen and really wonderful to have a little laundry machine in the room.

There were no hooks anywhere, including the bathroom, and only a handful of hangers so storage was a problem. There is plenty of space for hooks. Also, our room had very loud plumbing noises.
