Staff and location was quite good

Unfortunately, our stay was seriously affected by what appeared to be a damp and mould problem. My mother developed a significant allergic reaction during our stay, and when we returned home, we realised that all of our clothes and belongings smelled strongly of mould. This was extremely concerning and suggests that the issue goes well beyond simply poor ventilation. I sincerely hope the hotel investigates this properly.

Enge Zimmerverhältnisse. Für eine Person wurde Zimmer mit Doppelbett versprochen aber es war Zimmer für 3 Personen . Relativ teuer. Kein richtiger Spiegel nahe genug für Frauen : makeup! Fenster schaute auf grosses Gebäude daher mussten Vorhänge immer gezogen werden.

Great location. Callum provided great customer service. Parking was convenient.

Restaurant. Only went once for a late dessert. It was over heated, terrible music, no atmosphere and dessert was over priced and unpleasant on the palate.

Great location right in between the Royal Mile and Princes St. The room was cosy, spacious and very clean. Staff are all very friendly.

Standard hotel/room as you'd expect anywhere in the world. The location is exceptional, though.

Bit noisy it was. Back street had a construction, and there are some facilities in the backyard (either laundry or waste management), so moving large containers on the cobblestone was also loud in the early hours.

Very comfortable close to everything. We had an issue with food not being delivered (it was very late at night and the staff member was new). But what impressed me was when I asked for my refund, which I didn’t have a receipt for they apologised, investigated and organised the refund. Mistakes don’t happen very often but it’s how they’re managed thats a show of good service. Thanks to all the staff involved.

The room was not very clean, there was toilet paper inside the toilet when we arrived and dust behind the bed which made us allergic. Also, the bathroom was not cleaned very well during our stay. The towel heating rack did not work and the staff was not helpful to make it work. For the high price I paid, I definitely expected much better than this

Very convenient location near Waverley. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable beds and lovely white linen sheets. Able to leave bags in a secure room. Complimentary water in room. And a bottle of wine! Late checkout granted.

Struttura in pieno centro città, ho avuto un problema con il taxi che avevo prenotato e, non sapendo bene parlare inglese mi hanno aiutato e supportato. non ho usufruito del ristorante ma la prossima volta lo farò in quanto la colazione è abbondante ed internazionale. tornerò di sicuro. grazie a tutti.

المنطقة المحيطة في الفندق تشهد اعمال صيانة وتجديد فكان الامر مزعج بعض الشيء، قرب الفندق من محطة القطار مثل بعض الازعاج، مكان الاستحمام لم يكن صرف المياه بالسرعة الكافية وكان الماء يتجمع، طلبت اصلاحه مرتين ولم يتم ذلك

il n'y a rien que nous n'ayons pas apprécié, car c'était le meilleur hôtel de notre séjour entier. continuez comme ça. Hâte de tester la salle de gym :=)

The location is very central, 5 mins walk to the station and 10 mins walk to Centre.

The temperature regulator was broken when we checked in, the staff didn’t do anything about even though we asked them to get it fixed multiple times. We were there for 3 nights.

Overall, everything was almost perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

the cleaning service was quite disappointing. The mattress cover and bed sheets were not changed or replaced during my four-day stay. There was also a dirty stain on the bedding that remained there for all four days without being cleaned. The rooms are also somewhat small. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the hotel and its location.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location with effortless access to the train station and the entire city. Major city attractions are just a few steps away. The open buffet breakfast is good. While the rooms are on the smaller side—entirely expected given the historic setting—they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is welcoming, and modern touches like online check-out make the stay seamless.

The only minor drawback is the lighting, which feels a bit dim in both the guest rooms and the breakfast area.

Нас поселили в номере прямо возле лифта, и он был единственным работающим (второй был сломан) и мы слышали каждый раз, когда двери открывались/закрывались. Попросили нас переселить, но нам отказали, сказали могут поселить только в номере, где окна выходят «во двор», но там городские власти осуществляют шумные ремонтные работы с 7 утра. Один словом не спасал нас этот вариант. Еще один момент, это полотенца оставляющие белый ворс на теле после вытирания, на всех темных вещах остались белые катышки. А еще в номерах очень пыльно, из-за чего появилась аллергия, нос закладывало как только возвращались в номер. Столько минусов при такой высокой цене.

El millor de l'hotel és la ubicació i que el restaurant a l'hora de l'esmorzar no està molt massificat.

Els coixins del llit són massa alts. Vaig demanar-ne de més baixos i no en tenien. Els passadissos de l'hotel són estrets i grisos, poc alegres. L'esmorzar és correcte però la brioxeria és industrial.

Excellent in all respects: location, room and service. We were even able to leave our luggage at the hotel so that we could enjoy our last day in Edinburgh before catching our train.

Tuvimos una excelente estadía en el Leonardo Hotel de Edimburgo. El hotel es muy cómodo y tiene una ubicación excelente, muy cerca de todo y a solo un par de cuadras de la estación de tren. Edimburgo es una ciudad relativamente pequeña y desde el hotel pudimos movernos muy cómodamente a pie para recorrer los principales lugares de interés. La atención de todo el personal fue realmente muy buena, tanto en recepción y el lobby como en el área de desayuno. El desayuno nos gustó especialmente: muy completo, con productos frescos, ricos y de muy buena calidad. Reponían todo permanentemente y el servicio era excelente. Queremos destacar especialmente a la señora que nos recibía cada mañana en el desayuno, que era realmente un encanto: siempre muy amable, cálida y atenta. La habitación era cómoda, al igual que el baño, y la limpieza del hotel fue muy buena durante toda nuestra estadía. En general, disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía y sin dudas recomendaríamos el hotel por su excelente ubicación, la comodidad, la limpieza, el muy buen desayuno y, sobre todo, la amabilidad de su personal.

El único punto que no nos gustó tanto fue que nuestra habitación tenía una ventana que daba hacia un espacio interior, por lo que tenía poca luz natural y resultaba un poco oscura. Esa sería realmente nuestra única crítica, ya que en todo lo demás la experiencia fue excelente.

La posizione dell'albergo è uno degli elementi piu rilevanti: sito nella città vecchia a pochi minuti dal Castello, ha la stazione dei treni e dei bus a 5 minuti a piedi. Le stanze sono spaziose, pulite e dotate di ogni confort. Dotato anche di una palestra molto apprezzata e disponibile dalle 5 alle 22. il personale è stato super disponibile anche per permettermi di anticipare il checkin.

Great hotel buzzing with people. Friendly and accomodating staff. Loved the room comfy bed clean awesome view. Great bar with awesome bar staff.

The rooms were very clean, everything you need. Out most of the time exploring. The breakfast was amazing! Very well organised- just the odd grumpy staff member there at the breakfast. A really good gym.

The location is perfect few steps away from the train station, close to the old town and the attractions also few minutes walk to the new town where are the shops, restaurants and the malls. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast restaurant was good.

I expected the hotel to be closer to the city centre, but it was approximately a 20-minute walk away. The lifts were slow and occasionally did not work properly. Overall, the price we paid was far too high compared with the quality of rooms and facilities and value of the stay.

L'établissement est très bien situé, près de la gare de train. Petit problème avec la chambre s l'arrivée que l'hôtel s'est empressé de régler.

Location is fantastic, just a few steps from the main railway station (Waverley) and very convenient for access to the Royal Mile and Princes Street.

The price, £816 for 2 nights was extremely high, but even worse, the price the day before we travelled was significantly lower but we booked non-refundable rooms so we were not able to take advantage of the lower prices which would have ben much better value for money.

Fantastic location, just next to the train station; the room is very clean with comfort beds, 2 bottles water, teabags, coffee machine and biscuits provided; the breakfast is amazing with lots food choices, also variety smoothies and fresh cut fruits too

Just some drainage smell/ unfresh smell in the hall way on the 3rd floor, but it did not brother us much.

Hotel moderno e com ótimas instalações. O quarto tem bom espaço e todas as comodidades para o conforto do hóspede. A limpeza funciona perfeitamente. Muito bem localizado, fica perto da estação de trem, de onde chegamos e fomos a pé para o hotel (na estação também se pode acessar o ônibus Airport Express). Subindo uma rampa/escadas do "close" nos fundos do hotel chega-se rapidamente à Royal Mile, a principal rua da Old Town, que acessa diretamente o castelo e diversas atrações. Do lado oposto chega-se rapidamente ao St. James Quarter, à Princess Street e adjacências, onde está o principal comércio local. Há inúmeras opções de restaurantes e pubs nas redondezas. Ou seja, é bastante central para quem gosta de resolver tudo a pé.

Tivemos um incidente desagradável na chegada, pois o quarto que nos foi reservado tinha a janela bem de frente para a obra em andamento nos fundos do hotel, algo exatamente que tínhamos solicitado para evitar ao fazer a reserva (já tínhamos lido comentários sobre isso de hóspedes anteriores), pois a obra começava a fazer ruído de manhã (como constatamos nos dias seguintes) e os operários tinham vista direta para o quarto. Considero que esses quartos deveriam ficar bloqueados para hospedagem enquanto durar essa obra, ou pelo menos que os hóspedes a serem alocados sejam previamente informados da situação. Fiz uma reclamação e felizmente conseguiram nos colocar num outro quarto cuja janela dava para um prisma interno, mas que era silencioso, mas francamente não entendi a atitude do hotel. Um outro ponto é referente ao preço (pagamos o dobro de um hotel da mesma categoria em Kensington/Londres, só para dar uma ideia), mas entendo que no período da Fringe (7-31AUG) tudo fica bem mais caro em Edimburg.

Posiaizone strategica a 2 passi dalla Royal Mile e 5 minuti piedi dalla città nuova. Il letto era comodo e la colazione buona con una vsta scelta tra dolce e salato

L'hotel è molto grande e quindi un po' anonimo. Non mi è assolutamente piaciuto che non si potessero aprire le finestre in camera in nessun modo, neanche un piccolo spiraglio. A mio avviso il prezzo pagato era troppo alto.
