Novotel Toronto North York

I like how the staff was welcoming. She asked how I was, how my drive into Toronto was, just a very friendly conversation. Her smile was warm and welcoming.

No comment here. The hotel was great, the location was great, and the stay was good. I'd recommend this hotel

The location was perfect. I love how there are things just downstairs, like booster juice. The front desk staff was so kind. We were attended by a Mexican lady, and she was incredibly kind. Would recommend to others.

A visit back to my home town was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the pool. We shall come back.

Easy access to the subway, lots of great Asian restaurants in walkable distance around the hotel. The area was safe and easy to get to.

Having one front desk agent working at check out is poor management and planning. For some reason, it took us 25 mins to check-out even though there were only 2 ppl ahead of us. Agent didn't seem to care there was a huge line and didn't bother speeding things up either. Well done!

O hotel é um pouco longe do centro da cidade, então mesmo de metrô o deslocamento geralmente é relativamente longo.

Convenient for visiting family in North York. The gym and pool were nice and it’s convenient for the subway especially as a solo female traveller coming back at night as North York subway entrance is in the shopping centre and there is a back entrance to the hotel. Staff are decent and helpful

A bit expensive for something quite ordinary. Wouldn’t bother with breakfast and there are good cafes opposite and a food court in the adjacent shopping centre.

Clean, quite and direct access to subway

Best location if you want to be in the heart of north york, the staion, bank and lots of stores are just in walking distance , hotel rooms are light clean and has great views, staff are very freindly and helpfull , all is good

The hotel stinks of dampness. Loud construction was going on constantly. Very expensive for location. Staff lacked friendliness and engagement. Hair and stains on the sheets. As an Accor Platinum member the stay bordered on appalling. No upgrade even though the hotel was more than half empty. Wouldn’t go back that’s for sure.

My room was wonderful—very comfortable and clean, which made my stay feel welcoming. Waking up to a fresh start with the coffee machine in the room was a lovely touch. The staff are truly exceptional: Senthuja, Evelyn, and Babli at the reception, along with Chenet in the restaurant, all show genuine professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this place. It’s conveniently close to the subway and located in a safe area.

What I loved about it was if I like home away from home. The staff was absolutely amazing very welcoming very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people and definitely will be back to the hotel.

No support for luggage, no staff for helping out with luggage, nonroom service, a very basis place

Les chambres (4) étaient très confortables et propres. Nous avons profité de la piscine. L'hôtel est bien situé et près du métro. Il y a un parking souterrain. La proximité de plusieurs commerces et restaurants à pied.

Lors du check-in , le personnel a omis de mentionner que l'hôtel fournissait un code QR pour le parking souterrain. On a donc payé 18$ (X2 voitures pour 4 heures). Par la suite, nous sommes retournés à la réception pour se renseigner... Le parking était affiché à 21$/jour sur ma réservation avec Booking. Bien que l'on ait montré le document, la réceptionniste a dit que les tarifs avaient changés, mais ne pouvait pas nous dire à quel moment. Elle a dit qu'elle ferait le même prix soit 21$ mais nous a chargé 23$/jour finalement (pris sur la carte de crédit directement). Bon, pas la fin du monde, nous avions 2 voitures et sommes restés 2 jours. On a survécus hahaha!

Close to the concert venue we were going to. Cute small room.

Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 3:30 to a line that looped out of the lobby. Took over an hour to check in. Hard to figure out the shower. The directions on the shower weren’t really clear.

Clean, excellent service and convenience of the subway

I was proposed a kettle for tea and I accepted. Arrived much too late and instead of milk they gave me 4 coffee pods for the Nespressso machine... I don't drink coffee.

Lots of great food options around. We had a comfortable stay at the hotel - no complaints.

Vending machine on the 3rd floor only. Would be nice to have one on each floor.

Overpriced. They made it seem that the simple breakfast buffet was included in the cost and then we were charged per person for it. Later, I heard a man ask at the desk if the breakfast was included, and I could tell that the desk clerk was not supposed to say that it was extra. She made some sort of strange, cagey response. Ridiculous.

BREAKFAST WAS ALRIGHT, BUT IT WAS NO BETTER THAN THE FREE BREAKFAST YOU WOULD GET AT OTHER HOTEL/MOTEL, DISAPPOINTING FOR THE COST/VALUE....

was very expensive for the size of the room, that looked bigger online. the front desk clerk that was on duty that night of check in seemed to be annoyed when I told her the key to our room didn't work.

Die U-Bahn Station ist ca. 500 m vom Hotel entfernt. Cafes, Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse der Yonge Str. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und sauber. Das Personal ist höflich und zuvorkommend.

Location was good and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were amazing very friendly and quick to assist!! Breakfast was good the next day too with great service.

I wish the beds were more comfortable, they felt old and well used but clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience, largely thanks to its fantastic location. It’s close to everything you’d want access to, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

The one downside—and it was a noticeable one—was the bathroom setup. There wasn’t a proper door or real separation between the bathroom and the rest of the room, which felt awkward and took away from the otherwise great layout. Another surprise was the parking fee. It wasn’t mentioned beforehand, so finding out that parking wasn’t included was a bit disappointing.

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per la vicinanza alla partenza della maratona, in ogni caso con 40 minuti di metro sei a Downtown. Camera spaziosa con letto grande e comodo, servizi buoni.

Good location for Toronto marathon which was the reason for our stay. Excellent transport links. Good choice of eateries within walking distance. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

There was no kettle in the room initially, although one was provided on request. The room also lacked ceramic cups/mugs and teaspoons, which meant relying on the provided disposable paper cups and wooden stirrers — something we didn’t particularly like. We stayed for four nights and, as is often the case around marathon weekend, the room rate was noticeably higher the night before the event.

Excellent location. Good parking. Close to amenities in North York and a quick subway ride to Toronto. Very helpful staff particularly housekeeping. The Second Cup was close by.

The breakfast was substandard. There was no plug for the bathtub. The faucets for the shower/bathtub need careful study, They are not intuitive. There were no grab bars in the shower so be careful!
