Nonostante esternamente la struttura abbia un bell’aspetto, anche alla reception e nella hall, le camere sono vecchissime, rovinate, materassi sfondati , divano letto inutilizzabile per un adulto (materasso sottilissimo con le molle che entrano nella schiena), trovate lenzuola macchiate, strappate, tutte ingiallite. Frigorifero molto rumoroso e se uno dorme sul divano letto è necessario spegnerlo di notte. Camera non insonorizzata si sente tutto quello che dicono i vicini, sentivamo il vicino di Camera russare. Le foto sul sito non rendono l’idea, l’area soggiorno con l’angolo cottura è buia perché non ha nessuna finestra che mandi luci diretta. Estremamente costoso per quello che offre. Siamo scappati un giorno prima, nonostante avessimo pagato tre notti e non ci hanno nemmeno chiesto il motivo.

Best points of the hotel: The bed was very comfortable, the hotel was very quiet and the location was convenient for our purposes. We enjoyed having the kitchenette so we could make a small breakfast.

The rooms had a bit of a shabby look to them and the rug in the bedroom could have used a vacuuming.

Le logement est assez spacieux, bien équipé pour un court séjour. Bien que longeant une rue, l’intérieur de l’hôtel est calme. Le lit principal est confortable.

Nous avons réservé pour 3 personnes. A notre arrivée, il n’y avait pas de serviettes pour la 3e personne, ni le kit de draps pour le canapé lit qui est de plus très inconfortable. Pas de fenêtres dans l’espace cuisine-salon. Le centre de Toronto est difficile d’accès.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to get to. Big rooms with a closed door bedroom. Love the fridge, sink and microwave!

There’s one small mirror in the bathroom only. Makes it hard for people to get ready at the same time. A full length mirror near the door would be a great addition too and perhaps a smaller one over the desk.

No restaurant facilities, though located a very short walk to Tim Hortons and major shops at Yonge and Sheppard. The front desk attendant, Raoul was very friendly and accommodating. The 2 bottles of water included were appreciated. On-site, easy parking was a great bonus. The room and facilities were clean.

The small kitchen was a nice option. There was no long life/fresh milk options provided. The coffee selection was not drinkable. The pull-out sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable.

I would have appreciated a thinner pillow. All pillows in the unit were extremely thick and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Unfortunately, there is not much I liked about the property. They did a good job with the pictures, as the bright, modern place you see in those does not correspond with the actual vibe of the place: sad, gloomy and old. Room was kept every day, with towels changed and beds made. AC worked well.

Some of the disappointing things of our stay are due to me not doing my research better. For example , the place offers no breakfast and it is far away from the subway (15 mins walk is easier said than done depending on weather); and then the subway is like a 30mins ride from downtown. Parking is free but it consists only of a few spots next to the side of the building, it is not a proper parking. The property has no elevator, and they didn’t offer help carrying our luggage up, so be ready to haul your luggage up and down the stairs on your own. Our room was a junior suite but very small for that denomination. It was booked for 3 people: our son was going to use the sofa bed. Once the sofa bed was opened, you had to jump over it to get to the bathroom and other side of the room. The sofa bed per se was a laughable piece of crappy furniture, obsolete and uncomfortable, I was so sad my son had to sleep in there. You could feel the springs against your body when lying in there. Not dignified at all. When we got there tired and hoping for a nap, the sofa was not even ready, we had to ask for it. They said they made it “upon request” but they knew they were receiving 3 guests? Unprofessional and weird. The room was not prepared for 3 guests, it had 2 of everything, including towels. We requested more towels and toiletries, that are provided in those tiny sample bottles that we had to request almost one by one. Outdated bathroom is an understatement. Old toilet, small and low-seating, old shower and bathroom ceiling with stains and in need of repair. Kitchenette was very old and outdated too, with ancient appliances. The vibe of the room was gloomy and depressing, small and badly lit. The main door has gaps that let the light from the hallway in at night. The bed was ok, comfortable enough but nothing extra.

Decent location

Beds were not made up when requested. Sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable House keeping left trash in the bathroom sink. The toilet in the room did not work

We had a room that could accommodate six people, and there was one small mirror only in the bathroom. So that many people getting ready to go out was really inconvenient to only have one mirror.

The location was ideal- about a kilometer from where my conference was held, with an easy walking path. The hotel room was well appointed, I was pleasantly surprised with the robes and other amenities provided. I will definitely be staying again if I need to go to York

The location worked for us and the staff was tremendous. We had a 2 room suite which was perfect for our stay. It was super clean, quiet and easy parking. A great stay.

Walls are thin, you can hear other guest talking. Intense febreeze scent to cover odor upon initial arrive.

Nice room. Clean and well equipped.

Room was spotless, bathroom a little tight. No microwave but had a small fridge. The soaps and shampoo and lotion were very small. Perhaps an update with wall dispensers could be done. No full length mirror no makeup mirror. Quiet safe neighborhood. Hallway looked tired, perhaps that area can be updated and it would look better. Not sound proofed.

Gross and musty smell, no windows, felt trapped and depressed. Paying $250 for deplorable conditions, even though a refund was offered, was terrible. At late hour in in horrendous traffic, we had no alternative arrangements to make. Will never return. Not a real hotel. Had to leave door open all night to try to ventilate. I am asthmatic and have a terrible headache and feel ill. STAY AWAY.

We had a wonderful stay. TTC a few steps away. Kitchenette was ideal. Separate bedroom area. Staff was very accommodating in providing extra pillows, extra water bottles and coffee pods. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved staying a week here ! Staff is lovely and attentive- lots to do in the area and easy access to transportation :) Will be back !

MISREPRESENTED as a one story- no elevator - two stories- had to carry our stuff up TWO flights- Says premium cable TV but NO CABLE NO live stations at all!!! Roku TV old programs only. No hair dryer. Nothing to hold onto in tub- safety hazard! No closet. Dirty carpet. Makeshift hotel - owner/family seem to live there in first floor.

When you walk in you can smell the clean from the Pinsol The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and efficient Foyer is bright and clean The room was ok Felt a bit like an “abc” motel walls are super thin and whoever was sleeping in room above us was moving furniture all night But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and clean Quick walk to where we needed to go so it worked out Very quiet neighborhood

Great location near Yonge Street. Lots of restaurants and things to see and do. It was a 15 minute walk to the subway which we took downtown. Very responsive staff. It was a small hotel in the middle of a very nice neighborhood. We had 2 bedrooms, but only needed one.

Room was very spacious and staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Coffee, water and toiletries were replenished daily and never ran out. Wi-Fi was reliable and public transportation was a breeze! I would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend.

Clean, modestly appointed hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room rate seems a little high given the facility, but thats probably what it takes to run a small hotel in a nice neighbourhood in Toronto.

Not coming back

Location is great for attending events at Rogers Stadium; there is a bus route from Sheppard-Yonge to the stadium. Our stay was comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

The fold-out couch worked but folded out almost into the bathroom which was inconvenient. Not a dealbreaker by any means but a bit inconvenient.

Was very good for its value. Was about a 15 min walk to a decent bar which is good for us.

Good accomodations for a family or larger group. Although updates have been made and everything is clean, the room felt somewhat dated, for example some worn furniture and the bathroom needs updates. All in all, great locations, friendly staff, in a quiet and safe area, Competitive price for toronto given the size of the room and number of beds.
