Exceptionally clean
Staff not as attentive as could have been when arriving
This is my 3rd stay in this hotel, staff are lovely rooms are comfy and shower pressure is always great, the best part is breakfast its alwaysfresh and plenty to pick from. I will always come back here.
Nothing, all was good
Location good, practical clean rooms
Great location.
Tight car park to navigate in a van.
The staff was exceptional
El personal de la noche fantástico, el de la mañana no tan atento
Cierra la cocina por la noche pronto. Quizá un poco más tarde mejor
It was in a good location, close to a restaurant that we liked and the location of our evening plans
I didn’t see too much parking available on site, we managed to get a space consistently but I was worried that we might not get one when we returned to the hotel.
No cleaning mate is to shit hair drill no working
Central location in Leicester city, well-maitained room, and courteous , helpful hotel staff
There was no telephone connectivity in the room.
I like the way we are been attended to by lady called AUDIRIA at reception.
The television in the is too small.
Perfect location and good breakfast
Nothing
Rude staff, car park extortion
Located in a central location 5 minutes walk from the main high street, the hotel was modern and very clean, with very friendly staff. 24 hour parking is available subject to space, and train parking is near as an alternative. Decent breakfast available onsite.
Carpet was a little tired due to wear and tear.
Staff kindly allowed us to park our car for 24 hours so we were able to attend our son's graduation at the nearby theatre without moving the car. Rooms have everything you need. The location is excellent for train and city Excellent Blackout curtains Breakfast is great
We got there early on arrival to make sure we got a parking space. I know they are limited so maybe that could be an improvement? But not the criticism on anybody
Very convenient location
Fire alarm went off at 2am,no commutation from staff during the alarm and no apology the next morning
Comfy beds and white, soft beddings and towels. The way the manager welcomed us in the morning for the breakfast. Continental breakfast exceeded the expectations. Having a (communal) room to iron cloths was a bonus.
We had two rooms, one was impeccable, one had a strong outdoor.
A good location for us, close to where we were attending a wedding. Close to some nice bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Comfortable bed.
More car parking would be useful but no scope for it
Clean and tidy, helpful staff.
There were no issues during my stay
Comfortable
Noise outside at night
Functional. Good location
Car parking. This was advertised but only after I had paid my non refundable booking was I told that there was little parking. It would cost £7 per day and if full I would have to go and park by the railway station. I think that this be clearer. Ran out of saving on blank wine
Good breakfast
Staff were attentive and very helpful.
We should be able to get in touch with each individual ibis, not just a main switchboard. This happens sometimes. Its not very helpful when it happens
The best alll was perfect always is
Lost my expenive hat my fault somwhere
I liked the fact it effortless except couldn't garrente parking
Great location for O2 academy. Nice communal areas. Rooms are good value for money.
The carpet in the room was quite stained even though the room was clean overall.
The Location was good.
I paid for parking for 2 days only to be told it was not guaranteed after I paid. Terrible.
Close to the railway station and on the edge of the city so a good location for travellers (although see comment below). The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Staff were friendly. We arrived fairly late and so ate in the restaurant (we usually avoid hotel restaurants), and the food was OK.
The hotel is adjacent to the Leicester inner ring road (which is three lanes in each direction). We prefer to sleep with our window open, but this meant that the room was quite noisy (there is a surprising amount of traffic during the night).
good pizza
no space on parking
Ensuites
Being asked for ID on arrival despite having the confirmation number
It is centrally located in city, close to the show venue we were attending. Received a warm welcome from Amit and his co-colleague at reception. Requested room on first floor facing main road. Slept well at night with no disturbance from external noise. Room with ensuite bathroom was quite adequate, well maintained, with neutral colour. All the amenities were also present. All the staff were very cordial and special thanks to Amit for booking taxi and providing taxi operator contact number for return to hotel.
The car parking is very limited but we were fortunate to find a space and took a return taxi to the show venue.
Air conditioning in the room should work all the time But that wasn't the case, at some point it turned off and never turned back on.
It was clean and comfortable
Nothing to that springs to mind
Great location for city and train station. Good value and good breakfast.
Small car park
Location was nice, staff was friendly, bar area was very chilled
My only fault the sink in the bathroom every time used it smelt of sweage, and comming for breakfast at 9.30 when it finishes at 10am they dont seem top anything up when your paying £11
Nice budget hotel - good value for money and a short stay. Room and bathroom were compact, but clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good and we also had bar meals which were perfectly adequate and tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful, even coming out to effectively reserve us a parking space as another vehicle was about to leave.
I suppose it's inevitable that the location, next to busy roads and close to the railway station, was rather noisy at night. But the hotel is in a city centre location, so probably to be expected. Parking on site is limited and quite tricky.
Zimmer sauber, Frühstück gut, Lage gut, man ist zu Fuß in eine paar Minuten in der Fußgängerzone
Clean tidy professional
I didn’t like the location car parking traffic noise left my I phone charger in my room and they didn’t find it I would not have booked my room if I had known about parking facilities
Short walk from the railway station and not too far from the conference I was attending. Nice comfy room and meals were good and reasonable. Breakfast included.
Having to pay an early arrival fee of £20 to check-in. Noisy location near busy intersections. Not generous with free milk, tea and coffee in rooms
The hotel was excellent. Clean and modern, with great facilities. The location is very central. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
Parking was free, but not very many spaces. Maybe about 10 parking spaces. It was always full on the Friday and Saturday night. Breakfast times could have been a bit later on weekends and bank holidays.
Decent, couldn't stay for longer than a night though (personal choice). Everything feels a bit tight, narrow corridors, tiny car park.
The ironing room. Nice to have an iron in your room.
It was convenient location for what I wanted
The corridors are dirty, carpets stained
Left my charger in the room but was never returned
Convenience of location Availability of parking even if limited (I was probably lucky)
Nothing
Easy walking distance from the railway station and into the town centre. Good bed and mattress. Decent TV etc
Nice and simple

Central located and perfect . I have started there before and I will again
Nice rooms big bathrooms
Nothing
Nothing really,
The location, entering at the rear and reception upstairs, room was very basic and small, lighting wires hanging, a small window which barely opened, the shower had hairs in it, the bathroom reminded me of being on a plane. Breakfast was poor only scrambled eggs available and when I asked if they have fried or boiled was told if I wanted that to go to a 4 or 5 star hotel. For £135 was not impressed. Don't think I'll be staying at a ibis hotel again. Only chose here as it was closest available for the venue I was attending.
Great location, friendly greeting, room was clean and it was good value at £81 for two including breakfast ! Parking was £7 which was reasonable.
The only issue for me was the air con was really noisy and kept turning on and off which made for a very sleepless night.
Clean, great location, lovely staff
Location to train station and other amenities were good
There was nothing I didn't like
Great value and staff
Parking was a little limited
Location
Rooms old carpets very thin single beds

It was nicely away from the City Centre but close to the train station. Staff were nice and friendly
Still a lot of road noise , and small and cramped room. Food wasn’t served until 6.30pm which wasn’t ideal with a child, and the city centre was disgusting and I felt unsafe going there for food with my son. Leicester isn’t a nice city.
Staff were great, rooms were clean, it was a trouble free evening once in the hotel
Parking is an issue, we ended up driving to the station, then had to download an app to park there, we had no signal and it took an age, on the walk from the station with our bags to the hotel there were piles of vomit on the footpath, noisy roads next to the hotel could hear all the cars
Breakfast was good with variety to choose from.
There was no refrigerator in the room which came to me as a surprise. I felt very disappointed
Friendly staff Clean room
The parking To be fair once I had booked there was information about the parking situation but booking.com didn’t supply this information and for the price of the room I would expect guaranteed free parking.
Location
The room was so run down, the walls have a strange design of shelving drawn on the wall. It's very bizarre for a hotel to have such a cheap look.
Central area
The alarm was going off in the dealership next door and the staff refused to call the police as it wasnt on their property. When I said if it was them being robbed wouldnt they want another business to call, all their answer was why wasnt I phoning the police. I said I would but as they knew the area it would be better for them to however, I did call the police myself. The police were shocked when I said the Ibis wouldnt phone. I then went out for a smoke a bit later and it took a while for them to let me back in as you have to buzz the door, I did wonder if this was retaliation. The staff were asking me if I had phoned the police when they came to the door. I just felt disgusted that if someone came to them and had said something had happened to them just outside their property and to phone the police for them they most likely wouldnt. Everyone has a responsibility for the safety of everyone no matter if you are working and isnt in your building.
Very good location
Could have better disabled access
The location was ideal for exploring Leicester, particularly for the price. The staff members were a true highlight. Everyone we interacted with took real care, effort and time with us. They really went above and beyond to make us feel special. We have yet to see everything we wanted to in Leicester and for the staff alone we would happily return this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed. We had dinner - which was reasonable and a nice selection of dishes to choose from. Good kids options too. Breakfast which was included for us with our booking was excellent. Food was cooked beautifully and even though we came down quite late for the sitting, we had no issues finding a lovely table and the food was fresh and restocked. A nice coffee machine was a great perk too. All in all it was a great stay, in the city centre for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
The car park is a little on the small side. That being said we arrived at 7pm on the day of booking and there were still some spaces remaining. £7 a night felt rather reasonable too.
My room door did not lock when closed from outside. I was afraid someone may open while away or asleep.
Accoglienza buonissima. Stanza comoda ed essenziale. Colazione buona e abbondante
Niente
It was available at last minute
My didnt lock when closed from outside
Convenient location Modern interior
No fridge in room Average restaurant menu No water in rooms
It was what I expected from an Ibis. The location was excellent for me.
If you use the post code to find the hotel it takes you to the Premier Inn
Location excellent - clean and simple - nice staff
Breakfast was a bit poor
The staff was very understanding and helped change our rooms to match what they said in the chats with giving us rooms next to eachother. I travelled with a group and the rooms were big enough for us all to have time together.
The AC in room 118 was dripping liquid onto the floor and the room ran either very cold or very hot.
Great location and good price
Very small uncomfortable single beds
Honestly, maybe the check in, otherwise nothing..
The room was dirty, the bathroom shower had the previous tenant hair in it. The one communal iron was taken and the hotel did not know and could do nothing to help (little to no hospitality training), poor organisation in general.
Lovely bright and clean with friendly staff
Clean, welcoming reception staff, good location
We requested to clean the room and maid said she cannot come because she is busy, so she changed just towels and was a bit rude with my boyfriend.
breakfast was lush
Location near train station
Homeless people doing drug deals in the lobby
Staff, helped when my train was cancelled by booking me a taxi.
The service
Nothing to dislike
Breakfast great. Room comfortable. Staff nice.
Noise from train station and a bit rough clientele.
Location was good
Would have liked the opportunity for a cooked breakfast
Worry free stay. Staff were fantastic and room was perfect for my needs. Would certainly stay there again

Amazing location, rooms are always clean, we had 3rooms and all were clean and comfortable. we have been here twice now as its that good and convenient. Brilliant friendly staff, excellent breakfast all round great stay.
Only thing I could say this time was they ran out of fizzy pop for drinks. Totally understandable tho as it was the England match so probably really busy. Didn't effect the hotel and staff they are brilliant.
Location
No air conditioning which meant, given the hot weather, we had to leave the window open, which made it very noisy overnight (traffic etc)
Helpful staff.
Room very hot. Very noisy traffic outside.
Friendly staff and free parking. Clean room. Great location.
Congealed baked beans at breakfast.
It was close to station.
No air con. It was too hot in room to sleep. We wanted to eat one evening and they could only offer us sandwich’s despite there being a menu. Staff knocked on my door two days in a row despite me putting a do not disturb on my door.
Good
No ac
Staff were very helpful and sorted out my wifi
Room size, breakfast room and facilities especially on the two hottest days of the year.
No air conditioning so room was very hot on a 30 degrees day!
Good location, fair price, good bed decent size room.
The cooling system in the room not good enough to cope with the current hot weather.
Handy for the railway station and Leicester centre.
Nothing.
Was nice and clean and well equipped with tea and coffees and towels. The continental breakfast was lovely and would say it was great value for money.
Maybe just the location but their wasn't much not to like the beds were overly ok but sometimes little uncomfortable could of provided more pillows

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
7/10Mixed reports: some guests explicitly noted clean rooms, but others mentioned old/thin carpets and external street mess (piles of vomit outside), giving an overall slightly-below-average cleanliness impression.
Service
8.5/10Generally positive: multiple guests called staff friendly and helpful, though at least one report criticized staff for poor handling of a security/police request — overall service is a strong point with an isolated serious concern.
Location
9/10Strongly positive for transport/access: repeatedly praised for proximity to the train station and central area; some guests disliked the city centre itself, but the hotel's location relative to transport is a clear asset.
Room Quality
6.5/10Negative trend: multiple comments about small, cramped rooms, old/run-down appearance, thin carpets, single beds and odd cheap decor; also missing in-room fridge for some — room quality is noticeably below expectation.
Amenities
6.8/10Mixed to below average: breakfast variety noted positively, but recurring issues with parking availability/complexity, lack of refrigerator in rooms and limited disabled access reduce the amenities score.
Value for Money
7.2/10Mixed perceptions: several guests described it as good value while others felt it was not great value for what was paid; overall middle-ground but slightly positive for price-conscious travelers.
Food and Beverage
8.9/10Generally positive for breakfast (good variety), but some operational issues noted (dinner/service times late for families). Breakfast quality lifts this category overall.
Overall Experience
7.7/10Decent and trouble-free for many guests with friendly staff and a convenient location, but tempered by room condition, parking difficulties, road noise and at least one serious staff-handling concern — overall a mid-to-upper average stay.
