Very poor value for money

Friendly receptionist. Ease of parking. Cleanliness inlcuding ckean smell.. Bottled drinking waters. Plenty of sachets. Very comfy bed.

It's a littled dated.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely bar (didnt rip you off) and outside area. Comfortable and super clean room/bed/bathroom. 5-10 mins walk to De Monteford Hall and loads of eateries/restaurants/takeaways nearby in walking distance. We had the £10 each buffet breakfast and it was excellent value for money. Great choice and quality ingrediants. Thank you for a great stay 😁

The location is good and has parking. The staff were friendly and the accommodation was comfortable. The breakfast is good with the cooked options served to the table or self service on busy occasions.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Good breakfast. Free parking. We particularly liked the location on the New walk so that you could walk along a pretty pedestrian walk into town or turning the other way again walk to Victoria park (conveniently located for parkrun!)

We like this hotel as we can park the car and leave it there. We can walk into the city center. The breakfast is great, there is a buffet and also a small menu you are able to pick from. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Our room was very basic and tired. We found a couple of empty wrappers that hadn't quite made it into the bin and got missed. We could hear someone blowing their nose in the next room as the walls were quite thin

Perfect location for the city centre and rugby stadium and hotel car parking included in the price. Great power shower in the room too!

What a little gem of a hotel. Great location. Such good value for money. Charming staff. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Lots of little extras. Free parking on site. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Pillows were on the firm side (other stays/rooms in same hotel they have been softer) and mattress a little on soft side- but otherwise room lovely with great facilities, spacious and quiet.

Leider hat es sehr schlecht gerochen in unserm Zimmer und es hatte auch Schimmelbefall im Badezimmer. Die Fenster konnten leider nicht geöffnet werden. Wir haben aber für die zweite Nacht ein neues Zimmer bekommen, was sehr nett war.

the breakfast was very generous and the staff I dealt with were very nice.

the rooms are furnished with very dated, old, and scuffed furniture. And tehre was a stgange loud extraction noise from early in the morning and there was a door that was banging periodiaccly trhoug the night - its location was also a bit sketchy- and th car terrace is actually some tables on the street - i try to stay in independants when i travel but overall I think there are much better value options.

Incredible stay from start to finish! The staff were warm and welcoming, and a room upgrade made our night away truly unforgettable. The room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful for a city-center location. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection with plenty of great vegetarian options, and the parking was well-signposted and hassle-free. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Great food and helpful staff. One of the few hotels in Leicester where you can park your car overnight.

Would be even better if the car park was adapted to remove the metal frame and improve access to additional parking spaces...remove the pot holes etc

The location is perfect at the start of the pedestrian walk into the centre. The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast excellent. There were lots of spaces to meet friends and hold meetings with refreshments.

The one thing that wasn't good was that the mattress was old and very lumpy and hurt my back. I ended up sleeping at the very edge of the bed as I couldn't find a flat bit to lie on.

As disabled guest i was a.little annoyed to find a staff members car parked in a the disabled bay and when he left he he put traffic cones in place to stop the space being used

Staff were excellent really helpful we were about a 15 minute walk from everything. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Rooms were spacious

Service lift was the only lift working very old and small. The pillows were of poor quality and prevented my son from getting a good nights sleep.

It's a narrow corridor and a tight turn into my room in a wheelchair but manageable. Once inside it was a small step into the shower but I was advised of these in advance.

I very much liked the atmosphere of the hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, the large bed was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. My room, located in a kind of courtyard far away from the road, was perfectly quiet. The location, very close to the main train station and within easy walking distance, was ideal.

Hub was in the general hospital for an op, we were out of area so I needed a place to stay, Staff were friendly, it was clean great location and carpark! ,As things didn't go to plan, i ended up staying longer than originally thought, managed to extend my stay as needed, staff were so kind and supportive as I didn't know the area at all! My room was next to the funny little lift (there was another main lift) down it's own set of stairs, I didn't really notice any lift noise, room service last orders was 8.45pm so didn't always make it back in time, If I ever visit Leicester again I'll stay here!

The potholes in the carpark , but it wasn't really an issue, room service could have been a little later.

Lovely roll top bath but I couldn't regulate the temperature in the shower head in the bath. Could do with a shelf to put soap etc on instead of reaching out to floor.

The staff were really friendly. It's a beautiful hotel The room was clean and the decor was pleasant. The breakfast was included with the price and my husband enjoyed it. There was a good selection of teas coffee and herbal teas and nice biscuits which was nice. The shower was very good and there was a nice sized bathroom. The staff were very helpful when we needed to store our belongings.

Belmont Leicester was so beautiful. The staff were amazing. They served a good buffet breakfast for $10. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The linens were cleaned 👌 Our room was tidied every day. We had fresh coffee, tea, milk and cookies in the room daily in addition to breakfast. I am celiac. I had plenty of gluten free bread and cereal 😋. Fresh fruits and many flavors of tea were available. I am quite happy with our stay. I recommend Belmont Leicester to all especially parents who have children attending Leicester University. It is a very convenient location and good value for your money.

Beautiful hotel, kind and helpful staff. The woman who checked me in was really helpful and kind (I can't remember her name). My room was lovely and comfortable and the shower pressure excellent. I'm glad that I got the breakfast, it was excellent...I remember a staff member called Betty who was very professional and kind.

Nothing although I do think the carpets in the main hallway could be a bit nicer, they don't fit the style of the hotel at all. However I loved my stay and would definitely return.

Cheap and clean with an ok restaurant. Situated in what is clearly a student area.

We were on the ground floor and people were talking loudly outside our window which woke us around 4am.

I liked being in a building that was once a home. All three meals I ate here were very good and substantial. Being located on the shaded New Walk made walking to the town center convenient.

Breakfast service didn’t start until 8am. The problem was we had to leave just after 8. However the restaurant staff were really helpful and brought us out takeaway boxes to enable us to take it with us. The breakfast menu and service was excellent. All the staff we encountered were kind and helpful .

We were happy with our stay.

The building is historic, the location unbeatable - peace, quiet, a view over leafy New Walk, and all that within a 5-12 minute walk of all the important places in the centre. The rooms are spacious, the staff always nice, the breakfast generous and varied.

I have no complaints.

The reception staff were patronising. They made assurances that were not true, failed to alert us to the parking screen, failed to offer enough towels, water, biscuits etc. Clearly we were in a room that was usually only used as a single room.

All staff: cleaning, bar, waiting were all very polite and courteous.

Très déçu par cet hôtel, qui ne mérite absolument pas ses 4 étoiles. La chambre était étouffante et difficile à aérer, avec un lit beaucoup trop mou, un mobilier vétuste et même des surfaces devenues collantes avec le temps. Les prises sont anciennes, aucune prise USB, et l’éclairage de chevet est particulièrement mal pensé. L’ascenseur, sans véritable porte de fermeture, est également assez inquiétant côté sécurité. Le petit-déjeuner n’a pas relevé le niveau : impossible d’obtenir un espresso ou un vrai flat white (café filtre et lait froid), tandis que le « smashed avocado » ressemblait davantage à un guacamole industriel sans goût, qui a complètement gâché les œufs pochés. Le seul vrai point positif est la proximité de la gare. Pour le reste, un hôtel très vieillissant, inconfortable et franchement décevant au regard du prix et surtout des 4 étoiles affichées. Attention également aux recommandations en ligne/IA : cet établissement semble très bien positionné dans les recherches, mais l’expérience sur place est clairement en décalage.

The location was excellent for exploring all areas of the city. One of the few city centre hotels offering free parking. Large comfortable rooms and a good choice of breakfast for £10.

Location was excellent, close to station, left luggage facility which enables us to maximise our stay, We loved the New Walk directly into the city centre and the sights we wanted to visit. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant as well. Altogether, a very good place to stay for a short city break. The room was very clean and well-equipped.

The decor in the room was rather heavy and dated. The room was too hot for comfortable sleep during the night.

My room was spacious warm clean and inviting, my bed was extremely comfortable and i enjoyed a great nights sleep. What a perfect location for a hotel. Right on the "New Walk", a pedestrianised leafy lane leading into the city. Just 10 minutes walk from the train station too. The reception staff let me leave a case from 9.30m am until checking in time at 3pm .That was a real bonus. The room was nicely decorated, supplied with toiletries, coffee/tea making area & a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a banquet, with fresh produce, pastries, cereals, yoghurt & fruit in the "continental " section & a good choice of cooked breakfast too.

A longer stay would have been nice!
