Hotel Marconi

A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Frederico at the front desk exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure we had a special stay for our anniversary. Our room was located on the second floor, and their staff assisted with carrying our baggage up the stairs which was much appreciated. With that being said though the stairs were only 2 small flights, which was very nice to see since many other hotels in the area have a much bigger climb. Our room had an amazing view of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The hotel is extremely centrally located so you can easily walk to see the sights or get food and visit shops. Since it is in such a great location, you will be able to hear some of the sounds of Venice outside your window but that is typical of the area and wasn't a problem for us. The room had air conditioning and a TV (which even had a couple of English speaking channels!), as well as an attached private bathroom. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a special experience in Venice!

The breakfast was excellent! The location was perfect. We were very pleased with the support of the staff to help us get our passports that we left behind at our previous hotel. It made our stay in Venice so much better knowing we did not need to leave early to go back. We will return!!

Beautiful building with incredible decor. Front door opens onto the Grand Canal with the Rialto bridge 50 feet to the left. Staff were thoughtful, and helpful.

The hotel is in a prime location right on the Grand Canal with restaurants right at the front of the hotel. We had a room with the bigger balcony which was so nice in the morning and relaxing at night. There are gondolas in front of the hotel as well as the Rialto Bridge within view and walking distance. We loved that the hotels uniqueness and decor. Highly recommend staying at the Hotel Marconi if you are visiting Venice!

It can be a little noisey late at night and in the early morning as the restaurants are setting up and taking down their patio set up but still well worth the stay!

Location was great. Front reception staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were easy to do. Room was nice and clean and secure.

Pillows were very flat. The bathroom is in need of an upgrade. The television was very small and the choice of some channels in English would have been nice.

La situation, la climatisation.

Un peu déçue de la chambre ( quadruple)… chambre dont la fenêtre ne s ouvre pas entièrement et ne donne pas à l’extérieur… nous avions séjourné il y a 4 ans dans le même hôtel, dans une chambre quadruple qui était très bien, c'est pour cela que nous avions de nouveau choisi cette hôtel…

Emplacement idéal à trois minutes à pied de l'arrêt Rialto. Hôtel avec un charme un peu désuet. La salle de bain dans la chambre était assez grande avec bain/douche. Juste dommage que les fenêtres ne puissent pas s'ouvrir. Petit déjeuner correct avec beaucoup de sucré (gâteaux). Un ou deux moustiques ont fait leur apparition, demander des pastilles à l'accueil.

Un peu plus de fruits au petit dej. Le lit était un peu mou.

No tiene ascensor y son 4 plantas. Además en la habitación sonaba un ruido de forma periódica que duraba unos 30 segundos cada vez y que no paraba tampoco de noche.

Zdecydowanym atutem tego hotelu jest lokalizacja, zaraz obok mostu Rialto. Więc w samym sercu Wenecji. Śniadanie też było bardzo dobre.

Dla niektórych minusem może być to, że hotel ma dosyć stary wystrój, ale my lubimy takie klimaty.

Hôtel à l’emplacement idéal pour visiter Venise en famille. Les chambres, à la décoration typiquement vénitienne, sont petites mais fonctionnelles. Personnel très gentil et arrangeant. Bon petit déjeuner. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Super super Lage, direkt an Rialto Brücke. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Frühstück reichhaltig.

Albergo molto caratteristico, pulito e accogliente, in posizione ottima, in pieno centro, accanto al ponte di Rialto. Servito benissimo. Fermata del vaporetto Rialto o servizio gondola, appena esci dall’hotel. Comodissimo per chi arriva con i bagagli dal parcheggio San Marco. Basta prendere il vaporetto, a piazzale Roma e, scendere alla fermata, Rialto. All’Interno della struttura, l’arredamento e’ in stile veneziano, senza cascare nel pesante. Camera confortevole, pulitissima, ben climatizzata, profumata, finestrata, letto comodo. Cassaforte, tv, kit bevande calde, bagno finestrato completo di phon e di tutto il necessario (non serve portarsi niente da casa). Ogni giorno il servizio passa a sistemare e pulire la camera. Ottima e abbondante colazione, dolce e salata. E nota positiva, accolgono i cani, senza alcun sovrapprezzo. Personale gentilissimo. Prezzo per tutto il soggiorno, ottimo. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

The best of all is the hospitality and kindness of Andrew the person in reception... Excellent renovated old furniture, authentic murano glass lights, free sitting in the tables out of the hotel looking Rialto bridge having your own drink... Very comfortable and big beds... Excellent morning breacfast for the italian standards...

Hotel was marvelous!!! Unfortunatelly food in Italy in general doesnt have so many choises and tastes as in Greece...

Location, location, location! The breakfast was delicious and had a plenty of choices, including fruit and healthy options. The staff were all very warm and helpful.

La ubicación es excepcional, a solo unos pasos del Puente Rialto. El Hotel esta en un edificio antiguo y muy bonito, los cuartos son amplios y incluyen artículos de cortesía como pantuflas y cepillo de dientes etc. El personal de recepción super amable. El desayuno delicioso. Tiene unas mesitas que dan hacia el canal para los huéspedes que uno puede llevar su bebida y estar allí muy agradable.

No me dieron la habitación con ducha y mampara que había solicitado y cuando fui a decirselo a la señora de la recepción se alteró demasiado y con muy malas formas. El resto del personal muy bien.

Przydałoby się dodatkowe krzesło. Dwie osoby dwa krzesła. Okna w części sypialnej wymagałyby lekkich napraw w zakresie otwierania i zamykania. Brak półeczki na kosmetyki pod prysznicem.

Sehr hellhörige Zimmer, zu dünne Wände, kann aber auch an den Zimmernachbarn mit 3 kleinen Kindern gelegen haben!

Дуже класне розташування готелю, непогані сніданки, не сильно жарко в готелі, навіть коли на вулиці +40, кондиціонери працюють. Можна залишити речі після чек-ауту і гуляти містом.

Трішки все старе та занедбане. Зранку в туалеті в нашому номері зі стелі осипалась штукатурка. Добре, що нікого там не було в цей момент. Але зазначу, що чистоту намагаються тримати гарно.

l emplacement était top, au pied du Rialto. Les équipes étaient plutôt agréable.

Viel hôtel, pas rénové , pas d ascenseur. Nous avions une chambre familiale , les lits des enfants n étaient pas confortable. La chambre n'était pas du tout isolé . Nous avions la salle de bain de la chambre des voisins derriere notre lit nous avons eu du mal a dormir a cause du bruit.

La localisation de l'hôtel, à 30 mètres du pont du Rialto, est son plus grand atout. Le personnel est très aimable, les lits confortables et le petit-déjeuner varié et complet. La climatisation dans tout l'hôtel est très appréciable par fortes chaleurs.

Comme beaucoup d'hôtels à Venise, les murs ne sont pas très épais et on entend les bruits des chambres voisines. Habitués à séjourner dans cette ville, cela ne nous a pas étonnés.

Die Lage direkt vor der Rialto-Brücke ist super. Von hier aus kann man alles in Venedig gut erreichen. Die Einrichtung ist so, wie man sich Venedig vorstellt. Große Vorhänge, Terrazzo-Böden etc.

Eu estava buscando um hotel com decoração mais estilo castelo e com certeza foi um acerto, hotel com uma ótima localização uma vista incrível se você estiver buscando uma vista para o Canal vale muito a pena meu quarto tinha terraca com mesa e cadeira , quarto bem decorado equipado com um bom espaço, cama confortável o banheiro mais antigo porém tudo funcionando e muito limpo, tudo estava impecável eu não tenho o que reclamar somente indicar porque pelo preço é a vista è localização vale a pena não se escuta barulho algum e o pessoal que trabalha muito simpáticos e a atenção para ajudar . Se você está com dúvida se se hospedar em esse hotel pode ir sem medo algum. A além disso o check in era às 14:00 nós chegamos às 10:00 para deixar nossa bagagem e o quarto já estava livre e já nos deixaram entrar no quarto achei isso maravilhoso e também meu marido comeu bolinho que deixam no quarto para comprar e eles no deram como cortesia.

The location was the best part of the property. The staff are very helpful and carried our bags up four flights of stairs, as there is no elevator.

The hotel is old and very much need of repairs.

Breakfast in the morning was wonderful! It's a nice perk to have a bite to eat and not have to leave the hotel!

I understand the hotel is an older building so elevators are not an option. The rooms are compact and clean. I didn't see any wash cloths in the bathroom so used a hand towel to wash my face. Maybe that's normal?

Great location, good-sized room, and an excellent breakfast. The hotel was comfortable and well situated, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and well maintained, and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Great location central to cafe’s, shops, gondola’s & all amenities. The room was clean & tidy and Staff were very helpful.

The furniture was a bit out dated, and there was a musky smell in the place.

The location was wonderful. We had a balcony and view of the Rialto Bridge and it was amazing and fun to sit and enjoy he sights and sounds. The breakfast was fresh and ready every morning we came down. The staff was friendly and kept everything clean and stocked.

The bed was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. We both ached upon waking. The a/c didn't cool as much as we'd liked. It never got below 24ºC (75ºF) in the room and it was kinda uncomfortable, but we managed. We were told by the evening host that was the best it could do.

Thank you to the front of house staff, so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and replenished. Close to every facility, waterbus, shops attractions Compliments to the breakfast staff, beautiful selection of breakfast

Sehr freundlich, perfekte Lage an der Rialto Brücke, Taxiboot zum Flughafen wurde vom Hotel organisiert (günstiger als über andere Anbieter).

Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig (man hört die anderen Gäste wenn sie heimkommen und entsprechend herumlärmen). Wir sind leider 3-4 Mal davon aufgewacht.

Es hat in dem sehr kleinen Zimmer extrem gestunken. Es gab ein kleines Fenster zu einem Innenhof. Es gab extrem viele Störgeräusche. Sehr hellhörig. Selbst am Tag kommen nicht genug Licht in das Zimmer. Man musste immer das unangenehmer Kunstlicht anmachen.

We paid for a superior room & The Room we were given on level 1 was awful constant noise from 7am in morning till 2am from kitchen staff closing up( below our room on side street)When we checked in Sunday the Man on reception was awful so rude & totally made us feel uncomfortable unwelcome( disgusting) I have never in all my travels experienced someone on reception so rude.

It doesn’t look like the pictures, there was old carpets that need to be washed, old curtains, old duvet (most of that need to be washed, looked a little bit dusty). The furnishings were ok not bad.

Das Hotel hat eine einzigartige Lage direkt an der Rialtobrücke:) leider gibt es nur wenige Zimmer von denen aus man auf die Brücke schaut. Wir hatten zunächst ein sehr dunkles Zimmer obwohl ich schon eine bessere Kategorie gebucht hatte. Auf Nachfrage haben wir dann zum Glück in der 2. Nacht ein Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon und Ausblick auf die Brücke bekommen, das war wirklich grandios:)

Die Ausstattung ist sehr alt, Preis/Leistung ist fragwürdig. Frühstück ist im Untergeschoss, Auswahl sehr gering, viele verschiedene Kuchen aber sonst sehr bescheiden…

I had the most lovely stay in this beautiful traditional Venetian style hotel. Fantastic location, gorgeous decor, very clean rooms with a comfortable bed and friendly and helpful staff, plus a great breakfast. It was exactly what I was looking for as a solo traveller and will happily return on my next trip to Venice.

The location was wonderful! For 150€ you can get a ride from the airport to the water taxi right to the hotel! (All included) The staff was wonderful Marina(love you) & Frederico, and Andrea all were fabulous!!! If I go back sometime, I would go nowhere else!❤️

Location is close to everything.

We had two rooms. Room 110 was absolutely disgusting. Once we entered there was a foul musty odor. We immediately left for dinner and came back to and found water leaking from the AC all over our luggage. Thankfully our luggage is waterproof, so it wasn’t an issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is mold in the room. My daughter immediately started coughing. We reported the issue immediately and were told they would fix it in the morning. They did fix the leak in the morning and sprayed a deodorizer. Within 30 minutes, the foul odor was back. However, since the room is carpeted, it seems the AC had been leaking for a long time without being addressed. We asked for a room change, but were told there were no other rooms available. We also saw another couple opting to immediately cancel their room upon coming to the hotel. If we had arrived earlier in the day we likely would have also. The second room was on the 3rd floor (even though we requested rooms close to each other). Staff was curt and not very useful. When I asked for someone to come to the room to smell it, they said they understood the situation. Breakfast was underwhelming. This felt more like a motel than a hotel. Of all the places we stayed in Italy, this was easily the worst. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.
