The décor was beautiful, spotless so many little details. Staff where kind, helpful , polite The place was lovely . The pool was warm and great depth for adults and children. My daughter who is 4 and stayed in many hotels loved it. She also notice the little things like the lights, the different flowers in the lobby.

The disabled door was abit tight and tricky to navigate. But nothing major as had help. The wind noise but i think it adds character so didnt majorly bother me.

Nie podobał mi się chaos w recepcji. Brak AC dla personelu sprawiał, że kiedy była kolejka trudno było Im się skupić na zadaniach i o niektóre rzeczy trzeba było się dopytawać itd.

Man at the front desk working night shift was so nice and helpful! Room was spacious and clean, overall would recommend and would stay again.

Very small bathroom - very difficult to move around in and nowhere to put a toiletries bag other than on the floor. £29 for 24 hours parking seemed high but I guess that's Brighton for you.

My room had no view. The light was poor and it was dark. In the room no fridge, no biscuits the configuration was odd with the tv at the side not full on. I was a bit underwhelmed

Up to my expectations

Booking in procedure for 10 people was tedious.

Location is probably the strongest point of this hotel — right on the seafront. The staff are very welcoming. The room I booked was not available for reasons beyond their control, but they offered me an upgrade the next day. This is really how businesses should handle situations like this. Their cookies made my day:D

It was a bit unexpected that a hotel of this level didn’t have a heating system.

I liked the exceptional helpful staff and the cookies we got :-) The swimming pool was also a great asset.

I dit not like that there was no power outlet in the bathroom, that should be a standard in hotel of this range.

Overall, the stay was disappointing. Several pillowcases had visible brown and grey stains, which raised concerns about the standard of cleanliness. Before arriving, I specifically asked whether the pool needed to be reserved. Although the hotel replied to my message, they did not answer this question. At check-in, I was told that advance booking was required, but the suitable adults-only sessions were already unavailable. I therefore had to attend during a children’s session, and as there is only one relatively small pool for such a large hotel, it was too busy to swim properly. Better cleanliness and clearer communication about leisure reservations are needed.

- The room was lovely. - Checked in very quickly. - Staff are generally welcoming. - The location and facilities of the hotel, including the Gym and the pool, are great.

- The light in the room wasn't working. - No fridge in the room despite booking a very big room. - Check-in time on the booking is at 1600, and check-out is at 1100, which seems quite unfair.

The hotel is beautiful and is the only hotel we will stay at when in Brighton.

The bathroom in room 184 was very small and the WiFi did not work when in the room.

I was there for a wedding. The venue was beautiful. Breakfast was as expected. Lovely decor. Great location.

My bathroom flooded making it inaccessible for the entire overnight stay. The shower was next to the door. Wading through water was unsafe as it made the floor slippy. Plus I was there for a wedding and didnt want to risk spoiling my dress. I asked for maintenence via phone and direct at reception, nothing done. I complained to reception at checkout and was offered a free drink or cookies. For the price I paid, this was unacceptable. I should've have been offered a discount on the room. I emailed a complaint and still await a response. No option but to provide a low review.

Need clearer instructions about finding the entrance to the parking and about how to pay for parking. Given how busy the property was, we wasted a ton of time waiting for a staff member to be available to help us with a code for paying for the parking, etc.

The hotel is right on the sea front and a 10 minute walk from the Brighton pavilion and The Lanes shopping area. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable Friendly and professional staff in the lounge .

Check in time of 4pm. The reception staff were unaware that there was a lounge where we could wait and have refreshments. The breakfast buffet offering was sparse and rather tired looking. The lobby area looked like a railway concourse and signs for the concierge were non existent, which led to a farcical search with another guest.

Excellent hotel. Large, clean rooms with modern interiors. Professional staff who went out their way to make our stay wonderful. Delicious breakfast.

We were not told that we had to book a time slot for swimming (with kids) so we arrived at the pool to find out u had to pre book and all the slots had obviously gone. We paid for breakfast but it wasn’t allocated so on check out they were asking us to pay the remaining balance (which was already paid) they just didn’t allocate funds to breakfast so the check in/out staff could have been better trained

Bathrobe and slippers in the room would be a nice touch. If staying in this hotel parking should also be free.

We booked a Superior Queen Room with Seaview, but the window did not close properly, leaving a gap at the very top through which the wind whistled during the day and would presumably have whistled at night. There was also black mould around several window edges. Before asking to change rooms, we reported the problem to reception and asked for maintenance to fix it. We went out for lunch and returned to find that the issue had not been resolved. We then went back to reception to explain that the problem remained. After waiting several minutes, we were told that maintenance had said everything was fine and that there was nothing more they could do. At that point, we asked whether we could pay to upgrade to any available room, but were told that none were available. We were instead moved to a smaller room with the same window problem, with no refund or price adjustment. Later, my partner spoke to the manager directly and explained the situation. He said he could have upgraded us to a Superior King Room if we had spoken to him earlier, despite us already raising the issue with reception. He promised to look into an upgrade for the next day, but we never heard back. During the same conversation, he spent time promoting the hotel’s Le Petit Chef evenings and suggesting my partner tell her friends, which felt poorly timed while our issue remained unresolved. The water pressure was weak, wardrobe space was limited, and the Wi-Fi was poor. Basic amenities were also not provided in the room and had to be requested from reception, which felt like a cost-cutting measure and cheapened the overall experience. For the price we paid, there were five-star hotels nearby at a similar rate. Although this is a four-star hotel, the level of service and overall experience did not reflect the price.

Chaotic check in. Promised a certain time and a room for someone with poor mobility. No room available as guest had not moved out! We agreed to a room a long walk from the lift just to have a room after a long delay. Complimentary dinner as compensation was spoilt by having to eat in a very noisy bar. Not the best stay but hotel location first class.

The fact that it advertises a 4 o’clock check-in and we were unable to check in until 5 o’clock as our room wasn’t ready the room was a family room which had a sofa beds in it which had a very poor mattress on it which consequently the two of the guests had a very poor sleep that night the fact that the room was suggested for us for four adults, but the sofa bed wasn’t suitable

When I booked I asked for a room below 4th floor or 4th floor or below. When I checked in I was allocated a room on the 5th floor. The reception lady said rooms were allocated automatically via the hotel's IT system and my only alternative was to sit in reception until a lower room became bookable (by this time it was after 4pm). The system apparently is not programmed to take booking requests into account. Not an issue for young, able-bodied people but it was an issue for me, especially when the fire alarm was triggered at c. 10pm and older, less agile people, myself included, had to evacuate via the stairs. Thankfully no serious fire ensued and the Fire Brigade confirmed that the building was safe. What was particularly unsatisfactory was that Hilton Doubletree refused to tell us what the issue was, other than stating the obvious i.e. that an alarm had been triggered.

The room are expensive, but approx' the same standard as Premier Inn, and very depressing (GREY???).

We were not advised there was a conference. It spoilt the experience. People sitting on the floor in hallways with laptops. Foyer crowded. Not able to sit in front of the hotel fron send day due to delegates from the conference. I would have chosen different dates if I had known.

No window or sorts for any natural light , looked like a clouded pain of glass , that didnt open along the end of a corridor . mentioned it was for an anniversary , that seemed to have fallen on deaf earns completely .

Central hotel. Our room was at the back which was great as it was so peaceful! Brighton was extremely busy and noisy bring a Saturday so really appreciated the room. Discount for parking helpful.

There were so many people checking in, the staff couldn’t keep up. It was very hard to work out where the car park was and where to go after parking. Also we were not told how to get back into the garage after checkout and that we would need a code!

Welcoming staff, comfy and clean room. Cookie on arrival was a nice touch - biscuits on other days of our stay wouid have been appreciated.

There was a speed dating event in the restaurant on our first night, meaning that we couldn’t dine in the hotel (without feeling rather awkward). As we arrived late after a 6 hour drive, we didn’t really want to venture out for food. Bathroom could have been cleaner, mould in the grout/silicone and what looked like a blood spot on tiles.

We namen geen ontbijt in hotel. Sommige personeelsleden waren heel vriendelijk. Poetspersoneel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Locatie ideaal, zicht op zee. Goede airco op kamer.

Enorm veel moeilijkheden om in te checken, we werden altijd doorverwezen maar niemand kwam. Uiteindelijk heeft 1 persoon ons wel goed geholpen. Hierdoor verloren we meer dan een halve dag. Zwembad wordt onvoldoende gecontroleerd. We zagen een moeder met gewone kledij (short en topje) in zwembad gaan bij kind, hygiëne wordt onvoldoende gecontroleerd. Je moet reserveren, kinderen mogen niet meer na 19u. De gewone 2-persoonskamers zijn heel klein, heel kleine badkamer moeilijk om te douchen. Geen kapstokken, niet handig. Je ziet dat tapijt in kamer aan vervanging toe is.

Excellent breakfast...especially the Eggman! Great location for Brighton Pride. Left luggage system was efficient.

They unbelievably were asking for £20 a day for use if their WiFi!! This is on top an overpriced stay in the first place. Due to the WiFi situation we will not be using this hotel again. We would rather pay extra to stay at the Grand. Sort it out management.

Breakfast queue. It’s a big hotel and breakfast area doesn’t cater for the amount of guests so we found ourselves in a que both mornings and due to space made it feel chaotic and unable to relax. Despite this, the staff on breakfast were friendly and calm although under more pressure than should be to work in a cramped environment

The first room was very small and had a leak above the bathroom door, and I wasn’t moved until the next day, even though I’m disabled. The second room was not properly clean, and overall the standard was poor.

I didn’t like anything. When you book a Hilton at a premium rate for 1 night. You expect some quality and a nice place to stay I can honestly say I’ve been to better travel lodges! We didn’t end up staying and left within hours. Was offered 50% refund which I’m still fighting for almost a month later!

The noice - the 2 massive events on in he hotel which should have been advised at the time off booking making the terrible quality of the facilities even worse because of the roudy people in the events!

room size was ok wasn't expecting a large sofa bed for my girls to share but otherwise was ok. the bathroom was very large. breakfast was vey good lots options with a chef cooking fresh poached eggs and fried eggs along with fresh omelettes

only downsize was the que in the morning breakfast was very long 1st morning we had to use the bar area for breakfast. second morning we manage to get a table straightaway there was only 1 coffee machine working so quite busy area lots of choices of foods for breakfast. but we had sort rest the staff wanted to take away your plates which wasn't finished otherwise it was very nice

It’s good location, near shops and restaurants and just by the seafront.

The room (174) was a bit dark, it was on the mezzanine side. I felt that the room could have been better if it’s a bit lighter, considering that when you look by the window it’s just high walls and no proper sunlight coming through. The staff at the bar are a bit rude, they look at me when I was trying to order then walked away. But I noticed they are really good to white local people! Very disappointing because Hilton normally has a very good hospitalty service.

The room was advertised as a queen room with queen bed. The size of the bed was double at best. There was a noise coming from the air con that kept me awake on the first night. I reported first thing the next morning. I returned to the room at 7pm and the problem was still there. I had to report it again and the duty manager chased this up.

We booked a triple room but were given one room with a double bed. We asked for the room we booked and were told it was not available! We were given another room but this meant our party could not stay together. This is unacceptable.

There was a fire alarm at 10pm unfortunately. We had a 4 year old that had to be woken and became terrified of the loud alarm. We all had to leave the building. Not the hotels fault but had an impact on the next day as we didn’t really get any sleep. I was also told by other guests that this happens regularly.

Fabulous location, straight onto the beach, with shopping and other activities close by. Nice amenities, such as the pool to make it a more enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Some areas are tired (back corridors/ lifts) and our bathroom had an unpleasant stay but it had been incredibly warm. The water pressure in the shower was rubbish too.

Hotel was ideally located a short walk from the Brighton Centre for my daughter’s graduation.

I booked and expected a single room as I was alone, but the room really was tiny! Also the car park was a challenge to manoeuvre in a medium sized car.
