Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Excellent location just around the corner from the beach with plenty of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from the Royal Pavilion, the Lanes, restaurants and coffe shops. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. We shall certainly return.

We liked everything and very much appreciated having the aircon on some very hot days.

Fantastic hotel. Couldn’t fault it! The staff in all areas especially reception were so polite, helpful and friendly, yet professional too. Didn’t sample any food, but the cocktails were great! Rooms were clean and a good size. They even managed to get my mum’s room to be next door to mine. Nice touch as was upgraded to do this at no extra cost. Hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the lanes, and even shorter to the seafront and the Brighton centre. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great! The beds were comfy. The complementary teas & cookies.

The service at the front desk wasn't great, it looks a bit like you're a bother when you talk to them, which didn't make us feel very welcome. We stayed for a 9 nights and the housekeeping wasn't even across the stay. There was no mini bar either in the room. I think it's a good hotel for 1-2 nights but not for a longer stay.

The elevator from the entrance requires the use of the card (the one to enter the room). For breakfast coffee and cappuccino from a machine are far from the level I am used to, but I am Italian!

The option of a twin room instead of a double with a single bed. Whilst there was an area to hang clothes there were no cupboards or drawers to store other items.

Letto comodo, camera e bagno ampi, struttura pulita. Siamo stati in questo hotel 2 notti con il nostro cagnolino e ci hanno fatto trovare anche ciotole e un lettino per lui.

Mi pare non ci fosse possibilità di attivare una ventola in bagno e il box doccia non chiuso (questi moderni che hanno il vetro fisso solo a metà) non è tra i miei preferiti. Però sono non-problemi, non ci sono cose che non ci sono piaciute o che ci hanno lasciati insoddisfatti.

Hotel at a great location near the beach. Staff was very friendly. Extremely spacious room, which included an assortment of tea and biscuits. Would come here again.

The bathroom basin was leaking and leaving a small stream of water on the floor, which wasn't fixed while we were there.

Ich war begeistert von der Professionalität und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter auch angesichts "anstrengender" Gäste. Sie haben sich sogar bemüht, ein anderes Kopfkissen für mich zu finden. Ansonsten war es echt angemessen. Natürlich sollte man sich vorher informieren (zweite Reihe, kein direkter Seeblick, zu den Lanes ist es ein längerer Fußweg), und nicht erwarten, bei einem dynamischen Preismodell in der Hochsaison kurz vorher Billigpreise zu bekommen. Tipp: Im Hochsommer Klimaanlage nach 10 Uhr abends einschalten, dass bleibt sie bis zum nächsten Morgen an.

Das Essen war für mich persönlich nicht das Richtige, das liegt aber an meinen Bedürfnissen. Ich mag einfach weder britisches Frühstück noch Pommes Frites noch Suppe mit Chili. Super-freundliche Restaurant-Mitarbeiter, einfach nicht meine Art von Essen.

I write to hotel twice before arrival to ask if there was a bath in the room as daughter has sensory issues and won’t use a shower, no response to either message (via booking.com) no bath in room - disappointed Daughter Gluten free, not many options at breakfast but they had made an effort with separate toaster / bread

I ordered room service on three occasions, first time it took an hour to arrive, second time they obviously forgot as I called to chase where it was after 50 minutes and they said there had been an issue of some sort and would be another 10-15 minutes, this was just for a sandwich pretty ridiculous! third time I ordered a steak it took them 30 minutes to call and say it had actually run out, chose to eat a chicken dish which the waiter came to the room and said they had to charge me for it and refund the steak in the morning Bathrooms don’t have heated towel rails or long rails so wet towels don’t dry

It is located by the sea and central, beds were comfy, breakfast was ok.

It didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel and I have stayed at 3 stars that had more attention to detail and comfort. Such as the wash basin and shower in the bathroom were both clogged and didn’t drain properly, took ages, the room looked a little worn, the temperature in the shower was very difficult to control, the body wash bottle in the shower was broken and couldn’t pump any soap out. The circulation of air in the room was bad, it felt stuffy. Also, we order some food at the restaurant and the staff seemed a little uninterested and they even told us the wrong soup of the day but apologized after we received it. Just a very lackluster experience and won’t be coming back.

Our room door was very sticky to open and our sink was slow to drain. I told the hotel manager of the issues and he got his maintenance crew to rectify the problems straight away.

The staff on reception were amazing, friendly , so refreshing to have someone nice and polite to greet you , lovely young lady

The staff were fantastic and attentive. On check there was a loose toilet seat that was fixed within 15 minutes of reporting it.

De ligging is fantastisch! Vlakbij strand en zee, in het centrum en genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Ik was vorig jaar ook in dit hotel en ik hoefde er niet lang over na te denken waar ik dit jaar wilde verblijven. De executive kamer is heerlijk groot en van alle gemakken voorzien (koelkastje met blikjes frisdrank, een Nespresso apparaat, een waterkoker, versnaperingen, elke dag flesjes water). Heerlijk bed, fijne badkamer met fantastische douche en heel veel ruimte voor je toiletspullen. Er is een stang om he kleding op te hangen maar helaas nog steeds geen plek voor je kleding e.d. dat je niet ophangt. Dat blijft een gemis. Goede verduisterende gordijnen, stopcontact bij het bed, fijn zitje. Al het personeel is ontzettend aardig, maakt niet uit van welke discipline. Erg behulpzaam en benaderbaar. Het ontbijtbuffet is erg uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Kortom: volgend jaar weer!

Das Hotel liegt für alle Aktivitäten recht gut. Nahe zum Strand, zum Pier und ins Zentrum ist alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Runderherum gibt es auch gute Lokale und oberhalb ist auch gleich eine Shoppingmale. Das Zimmer war modern und neu und praktisch. Das Frühstück bittet für jeden was und es ist auch nicht zu voll. Das Personal war auch recht nett und hilfsbereit.

Leider ist das Parken ziemlich teuer in der Gegend.

Era bonito, con una ubicación muy buena Cerca de la playa y su gran paseo marítimo. Subías la calle y estaba llena de restaurantes y comercios.

No tenía nevera. Tuvimos que pedir una en recepción. Armario muy pequeño si tienes que compartir con más personas.

Great location. Near to the seafront and also the shops, bars etc. Set in a nice quiet street and easy to walk to from Brighton train station. Staff were lovely, helpful and pleasant and the rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily to a high standard. This is a great hotel with lovely staff and we will definitely stay again when in Brighton. Highly recommend.

All of the staff were lovely and welcoming. The room and shared spaces were all clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of choice and great quality. We loved Brighton and the Maldron was very well situated for the sea front and only a 10 minute walk from the Palace Pier.

Our room was a little cramped for the amount of money paid, and as with other modern hotels came with no drawers for organising your clothes in so we lived out of our suitcases for three days.

Hotel was clean and rooms were cleaned everyday staff were all very friendly and helpful

There was nowhere to park and it cost us 32 pounds a day in the car park opposite the hotel. This made our stay very expensive when you re on a tight budget so that was most of our budget such ashame as really liked the hotel

We zaten op de 7e verdieping, maar de lift gaat maar tot de 6e verdieping. Waarschijnlijk stoppen ze gasten met een hond ver weg. Want we moesten daarna de hele 6e verdieping aflopen, door 3 of 4 zware deuren, met al onze koffers en hondje. En nog 2 trappen op. Niet erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Ze hadden eigenlijk even iemand mee moeten sturen. De lift is ook super klein, pasten we net in met 3 personen en onze bagage en hondje.
