Nice clean comfortable hotel. Good quality bedding. Nice cocktails. Great selection of food for breakfast and staff were excellent in this area.
Many of the staff not very pleasant, particularly in the bar and the bar food was not of great quality. Also the holding deposit of 100e was very unexpected and quiet shocking.
Great location
Pool was excellent
Not very accommodating with parking.

Gym, pool, breakfast, location
Light broken in room, no bath robe in room - had to request it, traffic noise.
Location near Lucas stop was good
Parking was not connected to the hotel its location is terrible for car access. The room was very small for the amount it cost. One small window overlooking nothing and noise from below. Corridors were being repainted on a weekend and smell was strong. The shower was poor and a frosted glass door between bed and bathroom is unacceptable these days. Please use your profits and install internal doors
Close to everything
From the check-in with Bernadette to the checkout the following day it was seamless. The parking the room the dinner the breakfast the staff the view the whole experience was highly professional from start to finish. Will definitely be back :-)
Having to leave !!
Good location, and having an on site restaurant was definitely handy, especially when travelling for work and arriving quite late, even if the menu choices are a little confused. Would be better to do a couple of cuisines and do them well, than do so many different cuisines averagely well.
The floor in the room was very creaky and as room was on the top floor, could hear pigeons on the roof, but through the ventilation ducting. Breakfast was average. Didn't have much flavour.
Location
Great location for 3Arena , lusas stop behind hotel
Very little staff at hotel . Arrived and went to check in , we were early 2.30 so room wasn’t ready . Got told they don’t take cash by Bernadette at front desk . Went to bar and we were waiting nearly 15min to be served and was waiting another while for my drink , there was others in bar waiting to order food and drinks . Paid on arrival and paid for breakfast. Breakfast is until 10am . When I arrived down to breakfast room I was told by man at desk that their is only 3 min left in breakfast and I’d have to take it away . He gave me 2 small brown box’s and said what did I want to drink . Now the breakfast room was very busy , I was taken back by his attitude. I went over to put some food in said box’s that where tiny , as I was by buffet 2 ladies ( who where getting more food )asked me did they hear right what he said , I said yes and showed them box. They said they work in the hospitality and in breakfast and they never in there lives hear the likes of it, They said I should put my food on a plate and sit down. I was very embarrassed and said I’d take it up to room . When I went up to get my hot drinks he had them in 2 disposal cups . I asked for some cutlery and he roll eyes . A man with a suit and tie asked was everything ok and I said no and told him the story . I was given a tray to put my stuff on . At check out I was asked was everything ok and I told lady at desk what happened and how rude he was . I was told that she would get manager to email me , that was 5 days ago and no one has contacted me
Great location; friendly welcoming staff.
Nothing to dislike
The staff was great and very helpful and understanding
Room too hot. Air temperature control system didn’t work
Location Cocktail Menu Friendly Staff Fabulous Bedroom
TV wasnt working
I was always liked everything about the Spencer hotel apart from showe… I couldn’t turn it to cold water which was a disaster.
The shower needs cold water. Cool water.
Great location in Dublin! The rooms were very clean and the staff were polite. The location is about 10-15 minutes on foot from the historic centre. We arrived by car via the Holyhead-Dublin ferry - parking was a bit tricky, the entrance is in another building next to the hotel, with its entrance just behind it, so I advise you to pinpoint it on your sat-nav instead of relying on spotting it on your own. The staff was very helpful in directing me on the phone!
None.
Clean, modern
With ordering the family room would’ve been good for a king and 2 single layout rather then the king and queen setup
Pool and leisure facilities were excellent. Very courteous Check in. Superb breakfast
V poor in room perks.
Comfort, cleanliness, staff a shout out to Hamid at the front desk for his excellent service.
loved the bar and swimming pool was nice
We didnt like that we didnt get the room we paid for very annoyed! Over that none of the staff contacted us to tell us was very expensive to stay we should have got the room i had booked we werent impressed!
Very clean and no signs of wear and tear.
Not great value for money but then it is dublin city centre!
Location, beautiful very clean lovely breakfast, no beans though but alot of choices
Pool and gym were a great addition to our stay, rooms were big and comfortable and the restaurant was very good

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent
This is all about value. I paid a premium for a hotel that isn’t premium. Expectations were not met. We were very disappointed with the quality of the property. Parking at 25 euros a night is extortionate
Room with balcony
Slightly far from city center
They cancelled our stay on the day of arrival as the card used to secure the booking a year ago had expired. My deal was “pay on arrival” and I had my new card with me. Their “contact” to let me know was an email sent 3.30 pm On the day of arrival. They immediately have the room away. No attempt was made to phone me or speak to me.
See above.
Really nice hotel. Room was nice with comfortable beds. Robes provided in the room were a nice touch. Bar area was very nice. Also have to say that every staff member I talked to were very friendly. Definitely would consider staying here again
Hotel molt ben equipat i molt ben situat. Preu raonable. Personal molt amable.
Flott hotell, behagelige store rom med utsikt over elven. Ligger noe unna sentrum, men da også mer rolig område
Very helpful staff especislly Bernadette at the reception desk. Very clean quiet room. Excellent restaurant.
Nothing
Good location and modern hotel.
Has definitely potential. Location, pool, breakfast great. Staff partially unfriendly. Room was lacking maintenance. Toilet not draining properly, could not be used for a morning. False fire alarm out of the blue as they worked on the fire alarm system without prior notification. Stay did not meet expectations for a 4 star hotel. Too pricey. Would not return.
Central location. Very clean. Beds super comfortable and room was a good size. Breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful. Only stayed on night so did not get to try the pool.
I appreciate it was in the city centre and August but it was quite expensive.
Gute Lage!
Reliable quality hotel in central Dublin convenient, friendly, nice Rituals toiletries, excellent breakfast.
Staff where helpful and friendly. Hotel very nice and location was excellent.
Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced. friendly, well mannered and courteous staff. Good location.
check in and check out a little slow. The weather had got cooler so I found the air conditioning to be set too cold.
Great location, comfortable rooms
Tried to order room service, called the number on phone was redirected and no answer. Called number on menu several times and no answer, was disappointed with that
It has been a number of years since I stayed at The Spencer, I used to stay there regularly for work. Inevitably a little tired in places but still a good hotel in a good location. The room was good and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Parking is nearby but is €25 per night and space not guaranteed. We only stayed overnight and didn’t have dinner or breakfast as we were catching an early Ferry but only criticism was each time we walked through reception the music was ridiculously loud and not very relaxing!
Beds very comfortable rooms spotless
Asked for 100 euro deposit for breakages in room and if we wanted to check in early an extra 50 euro which I thought was too much. When I was checking out staff member never asked how was our stay which would have been nice.
Location and facilities Very close to Luas stop Breakfast
The gym hours in the weekend. It starts too late at 8am as I wanted to have a quick session before the day
Good all round, accommodation, staff and food would highly recommend
fantastic location for a concert in the 3 area. lovely hotel with friendly staff
nothing
The hotel is well located, with great gym and spa facilities and good staff. The room was a good size, with a fridge and good quality coffee maker. The room air conditioning was okay, but would only go down to 19 degrees and the bedding was quite heavy for warm weather; I woke repeatedly through the night because I was too warm. It would have been nice to have a lighter duvet and a removable blanket. My room was one with a balcony and the biggest negative is that there was a LOT of noise from the nearby road, even with windows and door sealed.
1) Location is great 2) The pool was nice, clean, heated. 3) Jacuzzi was great. (not every hotel has this good opportunity) 4) Breakfast was great. Selection provided good options for various tastes. Pastry was delicious. 5) good coffee pods in the rooms. (personal taste) 6) room cleaning service was good.
1) No microwaves in rooms. If you have kids, you have to go and sign the waiver at the front desk, and then bring down your food to the kitchen and ask people there to heat it for certain number of minutes. Given how cheap microwaves are not sure why they were absent. 2) Jacuzzi, gym and saunas cannot be used for children until 18 y.o. Pool for kids until 7pm only. 3) Both saunas were not very hot (personal view) 4) The smell on the LG level leading to the gym and pool was horrible
Location is great for where I wanted to be, nice view also across the docklands.
On the expensive side.
I stayed here for one night with a 5 year old daughter. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and she loved the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Breakfast was also a big hit with a wide variety to choose from. I would recommend and stay again. The only element that wasn't 100% was our room over looked the courtyard and was obstructed by the building across making quite dark. But still very clean and comfortable, so not a game changer I would just try and request one on the other side next time.
Well we got clamp in the underground car park because the people on the front desk never explained the situation about the car park
The staff were lovely. It was clean and well equipped. Everything you needed. Everyone was very helpful.

Fantastic room. Great staff.
The car park was very tight for a BMW X5.
We had a wonderful stay on a family vacation. Staff were super friendly, the room was comfortable and very well-maintained. The perfect way to start our Ireland vacation. Highly recommended!
The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. The room was very spacious and loved the added amenities of water and tea and a fridge! Had a fabulous massage at the spa. We were not expecting Dublin's heat and It was so great to have AC! Lounge is lovely.
Very nice place, excellent breakfast, great location, and very good service. Daniel was very kind at breakfast and attentive to our needs. Without a doubt, our stay at the hotel was pleasant.
A very comfortable, clean and quiet Hotel, even when its busy, with courteous Staff, clean, well apportioned rooms and excellent amenities: all within walking distance of the city centre and Luas
