I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay an additional €36 for breakfast when we had paid a e360 nightly rate - it came across as greedy.

Male who was on front of house very unhelpful thought him to be ageist, older visitors sometimes just need a little help with technology I E ,checking in and getting organised.

The breakfast was excellent, but the hot water dispenser for making tea was challenging . However when I mentioned it on the second morning to Anna, the restaurant manager, she immediately went to the kitchen and returned with two pots of tea for my companion and myself, and with a great smile! That’s what I call service !

The current construction outside the building, but easy enough to maneuver around. Pillows were really hard though.

No food menu in the room had to go to the restaurant to check menu, would have been much easy to have a room service. And Just no parking!!

The room had no fridge. Soundproofing was a serious problem. I could clearly hear my neighbors' conversations through the wall.

The location was pretty central, the check in and check out process was smooth and simple.

The room was cleaned, but only just - you can see dust in corners, stains in sink, etc. There was no body wash, there was only two shower towels despite booking for 3 adults, stand lamp lightbulbs were flickering and bedside lamp llightbulbs were empty, and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Poor attention to detail.

The location is great and we parked at Best Cark park, only €20 for 24hours. Hotel is very modern and up to date and very clean.

The service in bar was very slow and not enough staff for service. We constantly had to get up from our table to get service. Are drinks arrived after eating all our food.

I booked a twin bedded room and was assigned a double bed room. The staff member at the desk was not helpful in checking for the original booking and checking to facilities to change. He must have said "it's not in the system" about 10 times. I have stayed in many clayton hotels over the years and this was the first time I every experienced an error/lack of willingness to assist. I absolutely appreciate the hotel was busy.

Very clean modern hotel in a quiet location within walking distance to city centre , right across the road from Bord Gais Theatre.Restaurant and bar good value .

The only issue was the tea and coffee station in the room was in a cupboard with no socket so you had to remove both kettle and coffee machine to the dressing table to use.

Cleanliness of the bath was very disappointing. Paying for late check out and being woken by the cleaners knocking on the door when we didnt ask for cleaning.

Location was good for tourists.

Location to croke park wasnt that far of a walk - 20mins

The price of a small pizza to the room was a disgrace at 10:30pm , almost 27euro for a cold pizza. 365e to stay for one night. Disgrace. No aircon in the room.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, though one staff member in the restaurant who was new definitely needed more guidance and training.

No air-conditioning. I was surprised that the property is quite modern but did not have air con. It was particularly muggy while we were in Dublin so it was difficult to sleep at night. The two fans and open windows did not cut it, unfortunately.

Spacious rooms, excellent location especially for Bord Gais Energy Theatre, breakfast was great - really well laid out in a spacious area and good range of products, especially appreciated the range of non-dairy milks. Grateful also for dairy free biscuits in room tray.

This was really a mixed bag. Although the room was generally clean, there was clearly a lack of attention to housekeeping detail as there were quite a few grim sticky blotches on the desk and even when I tried to wipe it down they wouldn't come off. Also several spoons were dirty which put me off using the kettle or nespresso machine. Stains on carpet. Same as in many hotels, allergens were not clearly stated at breakfast - it is really ridiculous to expect people to have to scan a QR code just to find out if an item is going to make them ill. What if people aren't able to connect, or see the info they need quickly? Can't also imagine people being too happy during busy times to wait for someone in front of them to scan a QR code before serving themselves. Ireland generally is very very poor at the detailing and provision of special diets, so it would be nice to see a hotel chain take the initiative and improve things. Also, here, as in several other Clayton hotels I've stayed at over the past few years, the wifi is not great - on my first night it dropped repeatedly (perhaps every 15 mins) which is not really good enough.

I had a fantastic stay at Clayton Hotel Dublin. From the moment I arrived, everything was excellent. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the overall quality of the room was impressive. The location is also a big advantage, making it easy to explore Dublin and get around the city. Breakfast was very good, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options. Overall, Clayton Hotel Dublin exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, great facilities, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin!

We are frequent visitors to the hotel. This time we met an absolute gem of a staff member “Sandra”. She was so kind to us and made a big fuss of my daughter who was recovering after an operation. This lady is a huge assist to the hotel. The hotel was spotless as always and the room was so comfortable. Food is fantastic.

It was our first time visiting the pool this trip and unfortunately it was a let down . The whole area was very dated and grubby and the changing rooms were very dirty. Such a shame as the hotel otherwise is pristine.

The hotel was a perfect location for the 3 arena. They went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate our daughter that has additional needs. They provided a refrigerator for her medication in the room. This made it much more convenient for us. Thank you.

The location is very handy and the hotel pool is great to have.

The rooms were unbearably hot and did not seem to have any ventilation or MVHR. For the price, this was very disappointing and the weather was not even that hot outside. It really was one of the most uncomfortable nights I have ever had in a hotel.

We love this hotel but the single bed needs to be sturdy I have back issue and I sat down on the bed and it slid across the floor they need to closed so it won’t move

Corridor smelled on level 2 of old must and dirty Hoover smell.. noise of loud dripping on steel window ledge like Chinese torture!

The lady in the bar was so friendly to my daughter, everyone was so welcoming. We hope to come back over Christmas

The room service was really poor, waited over and hour and pizza came stone cold. 38 euro for a pizza and three.bottles of water!

The room was a good size and the breakfast was tasty. The swimming pool was good.

That breakfast was unexpectedly more expensive when not booked in advance. That the staff kept forgetting there were three of us needing towels. That we weren’t greeted when we arrived or even acknowledged when we arrived late at night and there was no one else around. The beds were hard. The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom.
