Great variety of food each day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean throughout. Pools were all great

I went with my 4 years old son and my mum for 8 days at the end of August. We went with Jet2, so transfer from the airport dropped us on. The reception staff - (I think the manager) helped out as one person was being served, so he tried avoid our wait… we have been told that the room is not ready and we have been offered to leave suitcase in there till 2pm. It was around 11.30, so we have decided to check the pool. Pool was very full - no sunbeds available, so we decided to check the beach which was literally across the road - so close!! we also went to Mcdonald’s for lunch (next to the hotel) as we had inly half board anyway. At 2pm , we got a room keys and went to our accommodation. We have been surprised - the room looked absolutely fabulous, very nice and stylish simple look and bathroom as well (pictured). After a bit of unpacking and wondering around, we went to dinner . The dining room matched style of the hotel (lobby, rooms etc) and was also very stylish, clean and everything looked as new. Staff friendly, even when really busy - I mean VERY busy. and OMG … the food was exceptional. We have been in so many countries and hotels before and we agreed that this hotel had the best food! Every day it was different choice and part was “based” on different country as well as others dishes … So, we have been very pleased with the hotel. We went to different beaches in area (and by local bus). We could not use the popular scooters as we had my son with us, otherwise we would be riding on it too as they have been everywhere. There were local sightseeing train, which we did not used but heard it is good. There is plenty local stores with various stuff as well as small Spar (5mins walk) to get fresh baguettes, cheese and ham … The hotel gardens are all tidy and very nice, we could not visit the over 18 pool (as had my little one with us anyway). Overall we have been very happy, we just been a bit annoyed by tourists “reserving” their pool spots by putting their towels on sunbeds (but i guess is everywhere like that, but hotel should do something about it). Also, the entertaining team was always starting late and not interacting with guests as we had in other hotels. The evening entertainment was pretty much all the same - singing 🙄. The noise was until late evenings and some days, noise from other clubs was disturbing our sleep, so if you are very light sleeper- you might don’t like it … we would definitely come again to this hotel!!!

Good location, where do I start ? Came here for family holiday for 11 nights , half board , start with the restaurant standards are food very poor , not much choice same every day hot food was cold not any effort put in to pleasing customers, no pizza either, serving staff are miserable and rude , table mats worn and smell , cobweb on ceiling in corner , I had a small piece of glass in my food which I discovered while eating Rooms basic , need an uplift , mould on sealant on glass shower partition, on the 6th day very bad smell of sewage in bathroom , the toilet pedestal was dirty when we arrived with bits of sick still on wall near toilet , balcony door is dirty with marks all over it , air con is a vent , main door to room has a gap a bottom you can hear doors slamming, people talking and shouting and running up and down corridor Pool area , always busy no sun lounge as people are saving them with towels, plus the swimming pool smells , My two sons had there room card checked just gone 12 , as myself and daughter came in half an hour after we didn’t have ours checked, so the night staff behind the reception are stereotyping my sons which made my sons feel uncomfortable, shame on you troya hotel
As the regulate quest more than 12 years..... we are so satisfied with HotelTroya... from the reservation to check-out procedure :) the pool side panoramic rooms and fresh grilled nice fishes are our favorites! THX for everything
Only one suggestion - maybe the restaurant equipments need some refurbishment actions ?
This hotel was so good. Reception staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good, always something to have to start the day. I only had dinner a couple of times, went out to eat as a buffet dinner isn't my thing. Prefer the many lovely restaurants around. Didn't use the main pool as there is the most beautiful adults only infinity pool at the back . I did have lunch there a few times which was lovely as was the staff. Beach is just across the road which meant I could just nip over when I felt like it for a swim in the sea. Room had a lovely view and the shower was great. 2 lovely shops in the hotel which sell everything you could need. Location for me was perfect. Yes its next to Veronicas but i usually stay around that area so didn't bother me as i prefer a busy area. And they also make gorgeous Baraquetos 😋 Will definitely be going back to this hotel.
Tre piscine molto belle, posizione ottima e ragazzi della reception sempre gentili
Lets start with the fact this place is nowhere near 4 star standards! Broken light fixtures and fittings exposed wires for "mood lighting" incredibly slow draining plumbing building work taking place in JULY! (Not off/quiet season). I could go on and on this is just not at all a 4 star hotel ive been to premier inn that were nicer! The food its typical all-inclusive multi nationality type offering breakfast being especially poor i know food is down to personal preference but it really is pretty bog standard. Half board may be better for people who dont drink alot. The rooms ive touched on being very run down yet still trying to be "modern" hair dryer in the bathroom bit poor ladies bring your own. Unless your in a "family room" or "panoramic room" your gonna be VERY close quarters sleeping. The nosie from the bars close by isn't actually that bad they've done a good job of insulating the rooms that I will say and the AC does the job.....(just) and for god sake make sure your door is actually shut and locked as the catches are at best crap. The door can appear closed but it not always on the catch and locked meaning a qucik gentle push and anyone can be in when your out. The shower however is absolutely fantastic i do rate a room by its shower and the room i was in had a brilliant mixer type shower with very good pressure (one of the few redeeming factors of this hotel). The pool area two large pools one warmer than the other the colder pool being the rectangle shaped one but still acceptable temperature its a fairly clean area and the pools seem to get cleaned by dedicated staff every other day. There are lifeguards on duty from about 11 but if theres anything interesting happening poolside you better be sure they wont be watching the pool. Staff try their best some try harder than others and some are absolutely useless. If your going to be coming here expecting 4 stars you'll be majorly disappointed think of it as 3 stars at best and you'll be fine. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances at all at any price point I just wouldn't. Sorry but there's so much that needs fixing/improving.

Dates: 1 Week in July (All-Inclusive) | Party: Family of 4 (Kids aged 5 & 11) | Room: Junior Suite with Spa Access I was so dubious about booking this hotel and checked the reviews constantly, debating several times whether to switch. I am SO glad we didn’t. While I’d rate it closer to a 3-star plus rather than a true 4-star, we had the most amazing time and none of us wanted to leave! Check-In & First Impressions We arrived around 11:00 AM, and to our delight, our room was ready early (check-in is usually 2:00 PM). The reception staff were friendly and helpful, directing us to scan a QR code for information on hotel facilities and the All-Inclusive package. The Room & Balcony We were blown away by our Junior Suite—it was spotlessly clean with nice, modern decor. The highlight was a humongous sea-view balcony equipped with two sun loungers, a sofa, and a daybed. It was the biggest balcony I’ve ever seen with tons of space. > A note on noise: Our room overlooked the Veronica's strip, which had made us nervous after reading other reviews. While you can hear a slight thumping noise at night, the balcony doors do a fantastic job of blocking out sound, and it didn't keep any of us awake. > Pool & Facilities * Sunbeds: Finding sunbeds was never an issue at any time of day, even with the hotel at 98% capacity! At 1:00 PM on our first day, we easily found three together. * Pools & Staff: Great size pools with daily activities. The entertainment staff work tirelessly to keep everyone happy. Food & Drinks * The Restaurant: There’s no greeter, so you just seat yourself (we always found a table easily). Waitstaff were quick to take drinks orders—contrary to other reviews, we were easily able to order second drinks during meals without any issues. * Food Variety: There was plenty of choice and everything was surprisingly delicious, even if some dishes didn't look high-end at first glance. They have two live cooking stations (one for meats like steak, lamb, and chicken; one for seafood like prawns, cod, and tuna). * For the Kids: Our kids stuck strictly to a "beige diet" (chips, spaghetti, chicken nuggets), but they were completely happy! * Pool Bar: This was the only slight letdown. Service was quite slow (20+ minute wait at times). The cocktails are pre-mixed and sweet (you won't get drunk on them, but they’re pleasant), and the wine at dinner was lovely. Entertainment * Kids' Disco: A massive hit with our 5-year-old, who loved dancing and making friends. * Evening Shows: A bit hit-or-miss depending on the night, but the atmosphere was generally great and the kids really enjoyed themselves—which was what mattered most to us. Location & Safety * Safety: We saw no issues with crime, pickpockets, or drugs. The only thing we noticed walking near Veronica's in the morning was a few discarded gas canisters/balloons from the night before. * Troya Beach: Lovely beach nearby with plenty of space. Top tip: Bring your shoes! The sand gets scorching hot on the walk down from the boardwalk. The local beach sellers leave you alone if you just politely say no straight away. Final Verdict We had a fantastic week, loved every minute, and would absolutely recommend this hotel to families. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off!
Szép tiszta szálloda, majdnem közvetlenül a parton. Kedves, előzékeny személyzet, finom, bőséges reggeli
Before we arrived the reviews were not that good and we did consider changing hotels, but I am glad to say we didn't. On arrival the reception team were very friendly and helpful, and answered all my concerns regarding the reviews. We were led to believe the pool did not open until 11 am, but what we were told you could swim earlier, but there would be no lifeguard guard until 11 am. We had a family room with one of the larger balconies, which was great. The room was clean and tidy and had a fridge and a kettle, with tea and coffee supplied. We were all inclusive and after reading the reviews people were saying the food wasn't that good and repetitive, and the staff not very helpful, yes sometimes things were repetitive but they are cooking for a lot of people, but you didn't have to have the same every night, there was always a great choice of food to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful in the restaurant, and always tried to sit us all together, as we were a party of 8, There are 3 family pools and 1 adult infinity pool which I didn't get to use, but was told it was very calm and peaceful up there. There was water aerobics and water polo every day in the pool and on the Friday before we left there was a foam pool party, which was a fantastic and fun end to the holiday, they also supplied a free cocktail for the adults and fruit juice for the kids. There was darts, and archery for the kids, by the pool every day. If there was one little complaint, it would be the queue for drinks or snacks, you could be stood in the queue for a while, The entertainment was ok, but not always the best. The area was lovely we were across the road from the beach and shops. We never had any problem with the noise outside, except when Spain won the world Cup and the sound and atmosphere was amazing, We would be very happy to return to this hotel.
Kiváló elhelyezkedés.
Minden tetszett .
Mixed views on this hotel. The hotel itself is nice: the rooms are clean, the location is great, and overall the property feels modern. However, where this hotel lets itself down is the standard of service from some staff – which is why I’d say it’s no more than a 3-star hotel. I’ll start with the positives. We were greeted by friendly, helpful front desk staff who made check-in quick and resolved every issue we had; we cannot fault them at all. The entertainment team also did a great job, engaging well with guests at the pool and running enjoyable evening events. The cleaning staff always had our room spotless and were always saying hello as you pass. Where this hotel massively falls short is its restaurant and pool bar staff. I can’t overstate how reluctant some of them seem to be to serve you – don’t expect any warmth or genuine hospitality here. They have no hesitation waiting until you’re nearly finished your meal to offer your first drink, or making you go to reception mid-meal because of an issue with your card. They’ll demand payment straight away, and make you feel like you’re the one at fault for something that isn’t your problem. They just stand and watch you clear your own table, then watched you walk to their station to get a wipe to clean it, then watch you walk back to their station again to fetch cutlery – all while carrying on gossiping like you where the one doing something wrong. Don’t even think about taking cutlery from another table to eat your meal, as they’ll actively shake their heads in disgust… even though they’ll happily stand there watching you sit down without what you need. Want more than one drink with your evening meal? That’s a joke – I’d suggest pre-ordering your drink the meal service before. For breakfast, they turn the lights out bang on half ten – no gentle warning, no slowly clearing food away, no half-closing the door to hint service is winding down. They just cut it off abruptly. As for the pool bar staff – you’ll always come second to their own conversations. I fully understand working in hospitality is tough in peak season, and keeping up high standards all shift can be exhausting. However a Hola or Hello with an upbeat tone is minimalistic but goes a long way. I fully understand everyone is there just for the money which I respect but it works both ways and when you pay a lot of money for a holiday it’s not nice. I feel like there seems to be absolutely no structure or management overseeing meal services – something that would not only improve the guest experience, but also make the staff’s jobs clearer and easier. If there was just a little warmth and basic hospitality from these teams, this would be a really lovely place to stay. As it is, we were ready to leave just a couple of days in – which was such a shame. This is only my honest experience, and I can’t speak for anyone else’s.
Location on the beach.. 5 min drive from most tourist attractions.. lots of supermarkets and mcdonalds on same road .. nice swimming pool.
The shower temp was always either too hot or too cold. Food was poor. Not much choice for vegetarians
I have stayed at the troya for the last five years and am going again in september the staff are lovely and the hotel itself is fantastic.the food is varied and i believe there must be something for everybody the menu is vast and always being updated.wonderful.
Je tout bien aime
Location was pretty good, it seems to be the first hotel not on the Veronica’s strip. So when you go out of the hotel entrance, turn left you are on top of McDonald’s/kfc/clubs etc, but if you go right there are lots of beach front bars. There are plenty of little supermarkets within a couple of minutes of the hotel. As the hotel is next to the strip it does mean that at night there is a fair bit of noise, but we quite enjoyed listening to the music on the balcony. The balcony doors block out a lot of sound, so I can’t imagine it would affect anyone sleeping. Our room, a ‘junior suite’, had one double bedroom, and a ‘lounge’ area which doubled as a second twin bedroom. The sofa pulled out to a single bed & a second single put up bed was also in there. It was very tight for space, so we put the sofa bed away every day. The main issue was that the room with the two singles had access to the balcony, which isn’t suitable for young children. The balcony door had no inside lock, and was silent to open so personally I didn’t feel comfortable with my 3&5 year old sleeping in there unaccompanied, as they could have easily opened the door without us knowing. (My husband and I had a lovely romantic week on separate camp beds 😂) The room was cleaned, and the towels were replaced. With the junior suite you also got access to the spa, with the infinity pool, however as we were away with our two children we didn’t use these facilities. Half board - this included breakfast buffet (the usual, sausages, bacon, cold selection & pastries). They have a self serve drink station for both hot & cold drinks. With half board you can then have either lunch or dinner. Your room card is scanned so they know which one you’ve been to. The food is very classic of an all inclusive - quite samey, although always hot & replenished frequently. They do have theme nights, but these didn’t seem to be advertised very accurately. They cook meat & fish to order, although the queue for this is often long. I did enquire about how much it would be to upgrade to all inclusive, it was €38 per adult, per day. This could be done at any time during your stay as long as you had 3 full days remaining. The restaurant was clean and there were lots of tables to accommodate all family sizes. Although there seemed to be a lot of staff & they were always busy, the tables were often not cleared in between courses, meaning the dirty plates piled up. Evening entertainment was good, lots of live acts (two most evenings!), and a mini disco for the children. The acts varied in quality, but they were all reasonable. The man & woman in the entertainment team were really lovely. The best act we saw was a 70s rock band - The production was really good. The pool was lovely, a nice size & often had additional activities like water polo, an inflatable slide etc. we never had to search for sun loungers there were always some available with lots of umbrellas for shade.
Just been to troya. And previously sister hotel galla. Next door. Overall id say troyya in my opion is the better option. For a 4 star hotel (budget version ). It's great for your £. Kids get daily put on pool activities. Ranging from foam parties - inflatable slides. The location is great in the sence it's right on the front. Turn right for adjee. And left for las americas. Eventhough the clubs are very close. I personally like to here the music though. Close the door to room. And its quite with aircon cool air. Allthough they are a little small. But their is the 360 panaromic experience if required. The food is varied and edible. But im a bit of a food snob..I enjoy the half board option. So for evening..I can dine were and how I like. All staff are bilingual very approachable with great personal attention to detail. Espicilly the bar staff. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. And most importantly for a fammily holiday it's safe. In the evening. One way in and out. With security on the barrier. Bus and taxi pickup from safe area. Their is a spar to entertain the wife and usualy an evening entertainment option. if you so wish. From elvis - magician. The shows were in english or spanish. Due to the performers. All in all hotel with great commuter links. On the beach. Secure for a great budget price. Wirh 4 star facilities. If you pay the extra bit. If give it a go. I enjoyed it for 11 days.
Piscine, vue, chambre, emplacement
Have to say this place is a let down. I will start with the positives. It's a great location, the view is great, and the rooms are comfortable. The air con works, the swimming pool is lovely and warm and you can even get a sunbed around 845 -900i will mention some neutral points. Yes it's noisy, but if you've been here before, you will know that, and it can be a bit annoying being pestered by lucky lucky men. But again, enough reviews mention this. It's lively outside, it's not for those looking for high Spanish culture. It's a typical euro-resort and I don't mind that one bit. Entertainment in the hotel is very typical of this kind of hotel. Not great but it's perfectly acceptable. Hotel is a mix of many nationalities. However I do need to mention some negatives. The all inclusive food is too limited, I've been in smaller places that offer far more. It's a big let down , but the worst aspect is the dinner and tea servings. You have to get drinks brought to you, and too few staff take drink orders. It really should have self service machines. This smacks of the company trying to control the amount of drink given out. It's also a mixed offer hotel and not fully all inclusive, and they don't use wristbands. You have to carry a card and if you're over two rooms, you'll need to show both at mealtimes. The seating is a bit of a mess at dinnertime as well. Especially for larger groups. Groups of 2 will take a table of 4 or 6 without consideration. It needs controlling by someone organising it There can be big queues for the grilled meats, which aren't put out unlike the rest of the food. Feels very much like controlling behaviour by the hotel. So it's all a bit of a mess in the restaurant. I've seen it done far better at other hotels. They need a major rethink about the restaurant. The other issues are too few lifts. One seems to be permanently broken and it makes for a sometimes very long time to get back upstairs. There seems to be enough staff, but they don't work efficiently from the way they keep chopping and changing jobs. It can take ages to get a drink at the bar with this. After going in a hotel abroad dominated by US tourists and seeing the staff work so hard at that one, I would imagine that Americans would not like this hotel. .
We stayed 11th July to 18th under a package holiday with easy jet. We arrived around 2pm the staff welcomed us gave us an upgrade due to the room we booked was not available, room was super clean and tidy our balcony looked over the sea, no complaints here. The amenities were good, spa, gym, kids area, ping pong and snooker, the location is amazing close to everything you need and could want to do, pools were lovely we spent most off our time at the infinity pool. My only criticism I had is the food, it isn’t great very limited. I did speak with the Mr Florin he is a lovely guy he listened to our concerns regarding the food selection, but sadly we didn’t feel it changed much, breakfast not an issue mainly evening food. I would anlso like to say the evening entertainment was good, drinks are very good selection, all staff were very friendly and helpful! we would definitely re visit the hotel!
Overall the hotel is really nice and a good location if you’d like to go out at night or venture out in the day. Unfortunately there were downsides to the hotel rooms air con which was very very noisy and non existent. The all inclusive buffet was a big disappointment. It was very small, and put simply the worst food we’ve ever eaten. On our last day baring in mind our pick up was at 4:45pm and we arrived late on our first day, they told us our all inclusive had to be finished at 12pm and we had to pay for the rest of our drinks whilst there.
The hotel has a beautiful adults-only relaxation area, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. It is a great place to unwind in a peaceful atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the overall service did not meet our expectations. Most staff members were friendly and tried their best, but communication was difficult because English was limited outside the reception desk. The food was also disappointing. There was enough choice, but the quality and taste were only average. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and potential, but improvements in service and dining would make a significant difference.
Got back today and generally disappointed. As soon as got there at reception staff didn’t greet you or acknowledge you had to wait and didn’t tell you anything about hotel. Mainly catered For Spanish. Just one bar open outside. Room service wasn’t replenished. No staff smiled and un helpful. Food was poor and worst all inclusive I have known and ended up Eating out most days and any additional Snacks wanted had to pay for. And check out it at 12 and additional drinks had to Be paid for and voucher for lunch - no THANKYOU keep it! Location was in centre noisy dirty and got Offered drugs. Very disappointed And would not recommend Here at all and even we Wouldn’t go back to Tenerife Because Of experience
camere mllto pulite, spazi comuni interni anche, esterni meno... Personale, tranne una persona, molto gentili e disponibili. Buffet buono e vario.
Pensione completa e posizione favolosa
El personal.
Poca variedad en comida. Repetitivo.
Just came back from this hotel what can’t I say about it. It definitely not a 4 star hotel. The food was poor not much to choose from. The entertainment team tried their best but seen better in a 3 star hotel the day time entertainment not long bestly volleyball i had hours at others hotels and the kids show in the evening starts early when people still eating there dinner or still getting ready Only thing good what kept me going is 3 work Harding bar staff the rest are poor one of the bar staff can’t pour out a proper pinto will definitely won’t be returning to this hotel one bit
Value for money, staff, location…
Bad wifi connection, the noise of people (youth) from rooms/balconies at night.
Well what can I say! This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we just love it. We are a young couple who enjoy a relaxing environment but also love to head out for a nice meal and drinks. On arrival, we were given a room which was a spa access room with a side sea view. Unfortunately when going into the room after a long travel day we noticed that the fridge was unclean and not useable. We raised this with the reception straight away and my goodness they were so helpful. They apologised and then kindly upgraded our room. This was such a kind gesture and made our holiday the most special. We understand running a big hotel can cause mistakes to happen so we did not criticise this one but to have such a kind gesture was amazing. We did half board which was perfect for us as we had breakfast and then had the option to choose each day whether we wanted lunch or dinner. I would say the food was pretty good but nothing too special. I would say it’s like most buffet places at a hotel. We did not really watch the entertainment as we went out however they did have music on, a kids disco at 8 and then other forms on later I believe but we did not see this. One of the main things we have seen about this hotel is the location. For us it was absolutely fine. Yes Veronica’s on a nighttime can be rowdy however we felt so safe in the hotel and walking to and from the hotel also at night. Our room faced the strip and we had no issue sleeping. All we could really hear was a quiet base noise. The pool area was beautiful and very clean and they have entertainment around the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centralised hotel with good atmosphere and luxury feel for good price
Location is unsafe for everyone it is near veronica strip & your offered drugs everyday with obvious homeless people off their heads. horrible smell coming from a building accross the road from hotel. Smells like sewrage in the air. Entertainment each night was not good. The food was rotten, ants were crawling on the white tables at the buffet. Staff are rude and obviously hate their jobs. Kept having to ask for tiolet rolls and clean towels. Dirty shower and bin lid broken. Balcony too small and air con was not up to scratch. I would not stay here again.
This hotel is very nice, yes it is noisy at night but surely you would check before booking and see its next to Veronicas? I went out most nights and even when we didn't the noise wasn't even that bad with doors shut. The room did occasionally smell very bad but so do the sewers in Las Americas so.... Beds are nice and comfy, towels and robes changed everyday by cleaners. The balcony is very small but still a nice sea view. The all inclusive restaurant seemed nice and clean to me and the food was typical for all inclusive standards. The payed food which you can buy at the bar is actually very nice. All inclusive cocktails are pre-mixed so not the nicest really but quite a big selection. Yes this is in a more rough area, yes people will offer you drugs in the street but I don't see how that's the hotels fault at the end of the day. Pool areas are great and the adults only area is very nice and quiet away from everything else, pool is freezing though! Beach is also directly opposite so makes beach days very convenient! Some people have complained about the staff but everyone was very nice and welcoming to us! Bartenders are so nice, especially Franco he was the best in the evening :))) Overall this was a great stay and my second time in Tenerife, this hotel was cheaper and much better than where I stayed last time.
Nada
Nice location infinity pool was great, good entertainment at night
Difficult to relax due to very loud music every night till 4 in the morning from the strip, only one bar for the whole hotel which is always understaffed, food not up to a 4 star hotel, the surrounding area of the strip is not very clean, especially compared with a 20 minute walk down the coast Which is beautiful and a lot more in keeping with 4 star accommodation, overall disappointing
Location, clean, kind workers
Nothing
The hotel has food and the small pool on the 2nd floor is nice. Otherwise: noise day and night. All day around the main pool on the 1st floor, playing music so loud that it's impossible to have a conversation, listen to a podcast or for the children to nap. Like being in a never ending night club. People asked the life guards repeatedly to turn down the volume, but no response. Horrible! In the night, there was extreme noise from bars close to the hotel until 6 in the morning. We asked for new room, hoping it would help as it was impossible to sleep, but the reception staff just rolled their eyes, said it wasn't their fault and cheked the computer obviously annoyed and careless ands said they couldn't do anything. After a week of 3 hours of sleep per night, we had to discontinue our stay and go home. One man around 50 with brown, wavy hair was the only kind person in the reception. Stay far away if you need sleep or prefer nice reception staff who're so tired of tourists that they just want to throw up.
I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and was very disappointed with the standard room. The room was extremely small for the price we paid and felt cramped throughout our stay. The air conditioning was almost non-existent. Although the unit was running, it barely produced any cool air, making the room very uncomfortable, especially at night. The food was also below expectations. The selection was limited, repetitive, and lacked quality, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. To make matters worse, when I asked reception for an extra blanket, the staff were not accommodating or particularly helpful. It was a simple request that should have been dealt with easily, but instead I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Overall, I don't feel the standard rooms offer good value for money, and the poor air conditioning, disappointing food, and lack of customer service meant I would not choose to stay here again.
Lo staff era cordiale posizione perfetta cibo ottimo
La pulizia delle camere pessima
Nulla
Tutto
La nueva zona de piscina. muy agradable
nada
The location is good BUT everything else is terrible *Dirty sheets with hairs on arrival *mould in the shower with dirty shower screen *clogged air con filter And last but certainly not least COCKROACH INFESTATION IN THE SKIRTING BOARDS IN THE ROOM did not realise until the last night in the room as I went to the toilet at 2am and atleast 10 where running around and trying to crawl back in the skirting boards , absolutely disgusting, not to mention the staff are extremely unfriendly especially the bar out side the pool not 1 person smiles everything is an absolute chore would never stay here again oh and for reference it's room 531 with the infestation , I did tell reception but they could not have cared less!
Very clean, the pool area has plenty of space, breakfast was lovely.
All good.
Good location to the beach Excellent hotel very clean and friendly
Close to Nightclub scene
Posizione ottima vicino a spiagge e locali.
Lovely stay at Troya...pool areas where lovely, no sunbed wars...Spa was excellent
Room was very close to the lift...very noisy at night
Food and service were excellent.
Room wasn't cleaned when we got there at 7.30, however it was sorted very quickly
Beach nearby, good pools, great view and jacuzzi in the room
Food is ok but not great, one day is pretty average and another day is good, not very consistent Very noisy outside on the beach clubs till the late night, you can’t sleep with open windows and you need to close shades because it’s so much light outside that it’s feels like a day
My wife and I are currently staying at the Alexandre troya in Tenerife and are two days into a ten day stay, and I'm afraid so far the hotel facilities are quite poor, we are staying in a deluxe room on a half board basis and have quickly worked out that the hotel is more focused on taking money from you than making you comfortable and enjoy your stay, we have a room in which the air conditioning, if I can call it that is unnoticeable on any of the three settings, no cold air and a faint sound of a fan , so we reported it and were told to close the door on the balcony, having stayed in quite a few hotels in our time we already knew this and the door was closed, in actual fact it's cooler with the door open and air con off, as for the room in fairness it's not too bad a little on the narrow side but the cleanliness is of a good standard, the hotel provides you with a welcome pack of two sachets of coffee a tea bag and three packs of single sugar , I plugged the coffee machine in last night and when I went to unplug it so I could plug the bedside lights back in the whole socket came out of the wall and the plug wouldn't come out so we now have live wires exposed with a dangerous socket, which I reported last night and still hasn't been fixed. Because we are only half board we are only entitled to one free drink with breakfast, any more and any drinks at all with the evening meal are charged for, all drinks during the day and evening are charged to your room which is fair enough, but you can't keep a track of all the charges going to your room unless you write them down as you go, one really disappointing thing is that you don't get provided with any drinking water, yesterday I asked if there was a drinking fountain for filling water bottles and was told no you have to buy bottled water, I would expect this if I was self catering but let's be honest you can stay in the cheapest hotel you can find in places like Egypt and you are provided with bottled water.on the plus side the food so far is of good quality and the weather is good and the shops are close enough to go out and buy bottled water at a much cheaper price than the hotel charges, I'm afraid we definitely won't be staying here again!
We were extremely disappointed with this hotel and felt it offered very poor value for money. The food was one of the biggest issues. It often seemed stale, there was very little variety, and the dining areas did not always feel hygienic. On several occasions, glasses had visible stains on them. We paid for an all-inclusive package but ended up eating out every day because we could not enjoy most of the food provided. Breakfast was the only meal that did not leave us feeling unwell. My boyfriend also ordered a burger from the snack bar which was rubbery and appeared not to have been defrosted properly. The room was also below expectations. The furniture, including the bedside tables, was dated, chipped, and worn. The bed consisted of two single beds pushed together. One was comfortable enough, but the other dipped noticeably in the middle and the springs were very noisy. We also found bugs in the room during our stay. The location was another major concern. It is not somewhere we would consider family-friendly. The main strip is directly outside the hotel, making it more suited to party holidays. We found the area quite intimidating at times, with people constantly approaching us to sell things whenever we left the hotel and even while we were eating. We were also concerned to learn that a fatal incident had taken place less than a five-minute walk away shortly before our visit. Service during meal times was poor, largely because there did not seem to be enough staff for the number of guests staying at the hotel. The restaurant itself also felt too small and overcrowded. However, the staff we interacted with throughout our stay were friendly, polite, and worked hard. The issues we experienced appeared to be related more to staffing levels and management than to the efforts of the employees themselves. To be fair, the pool areas were one of the better aspects of the hotel. They were well maintained, pleasant to spend time around, and provided a much more positive experience than many of the other facilities. My boyfriend and I are both in our early twenties and do not have unrealistic expectations when travelling. This was our first holiday together, and we genuinely feel that the hotel fell far below the standard we expected. We tried our best to make the most of the trip, but ultimately felt that we had paid a premium price for an experience that did not deliver. For anyone visiting Tenerife, we would still recommend exploring other areas such as Costa Adeje. Activities like jet skiing and visiting Siam Park were highlights of our holiday. Tenerife has many beautiful and scenic areas, but unfortunately the location of this hotel did not match our expectations and significantly impacted our overall experience.
Tinha um bom pequeno almoço e estava bem localizado
