Love the pool and the fact most rooms connect to the pool.

Our room didn't connect to the pool and we were given a room whee accessibility was an issue.

Staff were friendly. Pool staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. Common areas were clean and comfortable.

Pool was crowded at times, but to be expected. Someone also soiled the pool while we were there, which was unfortunate. Pool staff were professional and efficient during the clean up.

The grounds were stunning and well kept. Great stay.

The food was yummy, just way overpriced.

The slide closed 10 minutes early and the guards lied and said it was becuase of the line. There was zero line. If you say it’s open until 9 then keep your word. It’s already only open for a small window. The vending machine took money and all I could get was a voucher to use on Pepsi products. The restaurants food was very expensive. Maybe have smaller portions and bring the price down a bit. Pool chairs were very worn and not comfy. Lifeguards did not pay attention at all. And the fire alarm went off for 20 minutes at 9:30pm and no one was offered anything. Not even an explanation or apology.

Room was filthy. A/C wasn’t working well. Stains all over the carpet. Debris under the coffee table when moves it to pull out the sofa bed. A large bug crawled across floor within an hour of arriving.

We had an amazing stay at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn in London! The service was excellent from start to finish, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room service food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. The pool area was such a wonderful surprise, with a beautiful Caribbean feel and a lovely patio that made it feel like a little getaway. Yes, the pool was busy at times, but that is completely expected at a popular hotel during the summer. Everyone in the pool area was friendly, and there were also plenty of times throughout the day when it was much quieter and very relaxing. Our room was clean and beautifully maintained, there was also like a roof top terrace near our room where you could sit outside and relax. We honestly do not understand how anyone could rate this hotel less than five stars. We had an awesome stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

We loved the hotel and honestly I would rate you as 5 star. The front desk staff Ben and Bryan and the other lady were exceptional. We're looking at booking once again in January with our entire family. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience ❤️

I asked for early check in days in advance and was ignored and room was not even ready. Was forced to take another room due to time constraints. The temp outside was 35 degrees and the air conditioner was broken. No offer of a better room and was offered a fan...total bullshit blowing hot air around. The bed was uncomfortable and when I asked to have the room cleaned they said NO. Then proceeded to tell me you have to ask the day before to get room cleaned, well I have never heard such bullshit in my life as that is not how a hotel is run and there was NEVER a mention that this was policy.

The staff for this visit were nice and very accommodating to solve my issues. Front desk immediately gave me a new room and voucher for breakfast.

I went to my room and was absolutely worn out from flights and walked into the bathroom and realized the room was NOT even cleaned. There was other people's hair around the tub, in the tub, in the sink, on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. I went straight to the front desk and was issued a new room immediately.

I paid extra to have a nice room with jet tub for relaxation and all I heard was kids running up and down the halls banging on other people's doors and screaming and throwing ice from ice machine everywhere. There needs to be rules in place to make people control their brats. Something needs to be done to vent the small fridge in the room. If you fill the fridge and close the doors to the cupboard it heats up so bad the fridge won't cool and food is heated and ruined.

Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that affected our experience. The room felt noticeably damp throughout our stay and would really benefit from a dehumidifier. We also couldn't get the temperature below 73°F, even after lowering the thermostat, which made the room feel warm and uncomfortable. One of the main reasons we booked this room was for the advertised jetted tub. While the room did have a bathtub, it was not a jetted model, which was disappointing and did not match the room description. The TVs were also not functioning during our stay, which further detracted from the overall experience. With a few updates and better quality control, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Absolutely the worst stay at Lamplighter Inn. My advice... Do NOT go!! They do not have air conditioning!! Offered a fan hahahaha Most fridges were not working either and all ice machines were out of order. We did stay one out of two nights because of tickets for kids in London... but canceled the second night. Kids had wished we had just gone home because it was too hot to sleep.

There was always something to do and it was super clean. Being fully booked it was still not overwhelmingly packed.

We enjoyed dinner with some friends at Shelly's bar & restaurant in the hotel.

The HVAC system is being replaced so there was a portable a/c unit in the room, and I had to ask for a heater overnight as it had gotten very cold out. Still, the staff was responsive and brought the heater right away.

Main part of the hotel was very nice, as was the conference room area. The pool area was also leather, clean and would be great for families staying more than one night. Having a restaurant in the hotel is a good feature as well.

The room I stayed in was dated. It’s a decent room but there’s no way it’s worth 290 dollars for a single night. The single bed rooms are nicer and have a view of the interior pool. Honestly those seemed a bit pricey as well. I wouldn’t pay more than 250 for that room.

We had planned to take our four grandchildren, camping, however, due to rain and cold weather. We decided to try the best western instead. The grandkids, ages 5 to 11, absolutely loved the pool and spent the whole day in it. The front desk gave us an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. The pool was a little cool that day and two of the grandkids were shivering. We will go again, but next time I’ll take snacks and food for the room as it’s fairly expensive to feed six of us in the restaurant. Also, there is a sign that says no food or drinks in the pool area. When you spend the day in the pool area, you need to be able to at least have access to drinking water.

Didn't control kids screaming and running around the hotel very well. Also, the toilet was very low. For a suite that had a walk in shower, having a toilet that is difficult to get off of seems funnily out of character.

Le stationnement gratuit est également un bel avantage. L'espace de la piscine était magnifique, avec de petites chutes d'eau, beaucoup de plantes et de fleurs, créant une ambiance très agréable. La piscine est grande et légèrement chauffée, ce qui la rend très confortable. Il y avait aussi un beau hot tub dont nous avons bien profité. Enfin, le restaurant affilié à l'hôtel était excellent. Les repas étaient exceptionnels et le service était tout aussi remarquable. Excellent choix de plats sans gluten pour les personnes cœliaques. Ma sœur y a mangé plusieurs fois sans aucun problème, ce qui témoigne du sérieux apporté à la préparation des repas. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation.

The waterside is only open on weekends yet most families are staying because of the children's hospital during the week. The arcade is a sauna. We couldn't handle being in there longer than a game or 2. Our room was so humid off the atrium. Thankful I travel with my woozo fan (best fan around) because our family would not have been able to sleep otherwise.

Great for a trip with little kids. Whenever the weather was bad outside, we still had the pool to keep them warm and entertained.

Pool area should have stretch chairs. That would make the experience of being in the pool much more comfortable and relaxed rather than regular chairs . If the hotel is full, more likely that you will leave all your stuff at the floor in the pool area, due to the limited amount of chairs available Also, this was the first hotel I see not allowing kids on the hot tube due to chemicals on it! Poor kids were really upset about this rule There should be some sort of regular playground to enhance the kids experience. Most of the hotels with arcade offer some initial credits when you check in, and there was none!

We chose this hotel because of the pool, but it was a huge disappointment. The pool was overcrowded, with zero staff control. My daughter was kicked by a boy swimming, kids were jumping into the pool even though there was no space, and besides all the chaos, a child got sick and everyone had to leave the pool. My daughters were very upset because they could no longer use it. On top of that, the front desk staff were very rude and the room smelled like mold. I will not return and do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Lamplighter in London,on and found the room clean and modern,all public areas were clean and well maintained. The pool area and slide was great for the whole family. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The pool area attendant even paid attention and retrieved our ball when it went out of the pool.

I was there this Thursday for an early Mother's day getaway, We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms facing the indoor pool and It exceeded our expectations. It was a huge value for money. It felt like we went to a resort and the staff was really nice, however house keeping came knocking at 9am when check out was set at 11am.

The AC or Heater can be quieter. It comes on at intervals with a bang

The staff made my daughter's special 4th birthday stay-cation one to remember! The pool was amazing and the food was excellent. The beds were super comfy and even with a balcony room, it was very quiet.

We stayed last night. This place is amazing. I was so impressed with this place. The rooms are beautiful very clean. The game room was pretty cool. And the pool area wow just beautiful. I have never been so happy with a hotel stay before but I could go on and on about this place. If you need a great place to stay in london I recommend this place %1000 . I will be back again soon.

The pool was fun, and spacious . The rooms were set up nicely and clean. Beds were pretty comfortable . The pool area was actually beautiful ! And at night it lit up nicely . The restaurant was delicious!

I asked for the rooms closer together and they couldnt and actually we were pretty far apart so going back and forth to the rooms was quite annoying. Our jets in the tub did not work . Desk staff was pretty straight and to the point. Didnt feel the welcome as we did at other hotels.
