Perfekte Lage, super freundliches Personal, vietnamesischer Style
Magnífica ubicación. Magnífico desayuno. Personal muy atento. Ideal para conocer Saigón.
Mi habitación daba a la ópera. Se colaba el ruido del trafico. Debería estar mejor insonorizada
Second visit but first stay at the Caravelle. Our room was messed up at check in but rectified quickly. We booked an Opera view room. From the 24th floor all we could see was the roof. Room smallish, comfy beds, nice bathroom/toilet/shower. A/C doesn’t make it to the vanity area so drying your hair is a sweat fest. Breakfast buffet very good, so was the bar. Staff lovely and attentive. Had a set course lunch in the restaurant which was very good. Location is perfect. Wish we had another night there to explore more.
Hieu Bell good service, friendly.
Very friendly and helpful nice location
Perfect location, beautiful. Bellman Hieu was very professional and friendly
Love staying at the Caravelle saigon, Hieu Bell specifically is so helpful and kind he always goes out of his way to help me and bring food delivery to me, open doors, and provide very good customer service above standards. It makes me so happy to have someone who cares so much about my experience at the hotel. also the 5 stars for Customer service here as well the rest of the staff are friendly too.
Is a perfect hotel to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. The location is fantastic located in the heart of the city . The food during breakfast is good. A walking distance to Ben Than Market, famous for souvenirs and imitations . Hoop on Hoop Off bus is in front of the hotel. Big shopping malls are walking distance including saigon Orchestra. Take Grab for the cost of 3 dollars to enjoy the floating saigon princess deluxe dining experience for only 60usd. One thing if you want to have Fun then you can play Casino located in the hotel premises.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The room and bathroom were a really good size and always cleaned well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Atenção dos funcionários e requinte do Hotel
This is my 2nd stay in a signature room of Caravelle Saigon Hotel which is centrally located. The room is clean, spacious and bright. Most importantly the hotel crew is very polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Signature Lounge team led by Kim and her team members, Nhi, Oanh and Ngan are always warm and helpful to my needs when we are at the lounge. I truly appreciate Kim's service, she greets all the guests by their names and is always there to attend to your dining needs and other queries you may have. I will not hesitate to return to Caravelle Saigon for my future visits in Ho Chi Minh City.
Excellent hospitality: Warm welcome, friendly staff, genuine smiles, and a great willingness to help throughout our stay. Breakfast team: Special thanks to the breakfast staff for their friendly, attentive, and welcoming service every morning. Housekeeping: Excellent daily cleaning and remarkable attention to detail, which made our room comfortable, clean, and relaxing throughout our stay. Perfect location: A major highlight of the hotel. Its proximity to the mosque, halal restaurants, shopping centers, and major tourist attractions made exploring the city very convenient and enjoyable.
Breakfast suggestion: It would be great to have more breakfast options suitable for Arab and Muslim guests, as the current selection felt somewhat limited compared with the variety of other choices.
beautiful and luxury hotel good service staff are very nice, helpful : Tung, n hung. lam. lucky. high bell. duy anh
Good staffs: Hieu bell, Tung, Nhung, Lam , Luc, Duy Anh... Very friendly, helpfull Beautiful room
Location is good, the center of city nearby Opera House. The room's interior is nice, clean, and well-equipped. Good view
Really nice hotel and helpful staff. Really enjoying my time here. Mr. Hieu Bell help me a lot, explaining about the hotel, the surrounding activities near hotel which help mw a lot in deciding where should I go in HCMC
Very good service by HiEu BELL Good hotel, beautiful
Great stay at the Caravelle Saigon. The location is excellent, but the real highlight was the Signature Lounge experience. From the airport pickup and seamless private check-in, we felt like VIPs from the moment we arrived. The all-day refreshments, afternoon tea, and evening canapés and cocktails were a fantastic bonus. After a day exploring in the city heat, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Signature Lounge made our stay extra special and is well worth it.
I love the modernness to an older building with a wonderful location right in the heart of Saigon
Being in the heart of Saigon, it does have a little bit of noise at night
Die Lage war top!
Khách sạn ở trung tâm quận 1,thuận tiện cho việc đi lại,phòng ốc sạch sẽ và đẹp mắt,nhà hàng buffet hải sản ngon miệng,nhân viên phục vụ chuyên nghiệp,ân cần và lịch sự đặc biệt là Hồng Nhung ở bộ phận chăm sóc khách hàng.
Không có gì phàn nàn cả.

Stayed in many Asian hotels and used to like the Park Hyatt across the street from the Caravelle but now the Caravelle is definitely my favourite. Of course well located but everything about the stay was perfect. The room , the service and the exec lounge food and service too. Perfect 5 day stay. Thank you.
Well kept , great staff and always put customer first
Location was great! Gym was awesome. Very nice all in all! Signature lounge was a good experience.
We had the most wonderful stay. Never have we meet more friendly and helpful staff. The hotel location could not be better. We had a room with Signature lounge which was a perfect way to start our Vietnam adventure. And an evening swim in the pool was fantastic
perfect stay in perfect sympathetic hotel. nice, clean big rooms, accomodating staff without overdoing it, excellent reflections restaurant, very good location. saigon - always caravelle hotel
Hieu bell good service friendly smiling Room is beautiful
This is an amazing and wonderful hotel. The staff were fantastic and caring. Everyone remembered our names the entire time we were there. The food and the restaurant was fantastic. A beautiful view right over the Opera House and Central square of Saigon. The rooms are fantastic everything in them and about them is premium from furnishings to electronics to any and all amenities at the property. Everything about this hotel was five star but one thing I will add in particular. This hotel at the absolute greatest shower I have ever had in my life and I'm in my sixties. As you get older you notice little things like how long it takes for the water to get hot being able to change the water pressure does it have massage features does the drain work appropriately and on and on and on. I'm actually not OCD about showers but this one was just 100% the greatest shower that I have ever used and the massage feature be careful if you turn the water pressure up too much it would take the paint off your car and the skin off you if you're not careful, but as far as getting an actual massage from a shower head, truly unbelievable. I feel like I'm being lazy by not specifically addressing all the good qualities of the hotel including the fact that it has a very nice casino in property, but it's just fantastic overall and why spoil the surprise for anyone that might stay there. You should find nothing or maybe one tiny thing you don't like about the hotel when you stay there and other than that you should find it to be an amazing warm comfortable fantastic experience. Even the snootiest of the elite will still find satisfaction at this wonderful hotel. Also for the price it's a wonderful value. It cost half of what another five star hotel cost on the same weekend that we stayed in Saigon we wanted to stay at both of them. The Caravelle stood tall against the other hotel that cost twice as much. My advice would be book it, you won't regret it and don't miss the breakfast buffet and the free afternoon happy hour which is effectively dinner- we're not talking about tiny egg rolls and nacho chips with cheese- this is top quality chef prepared (snack) food but with 40 selections trust me you're not going out to dinner after this and it's between 5:30 and 7:30 and you get the free unlimited cocktails and food as long as you opt for the premium lounge access which probably cost you $20 per person per day more it is definitely worth it, you have a wonderful view and it's like being in a fine dining restaurant with premium service just for the happy hour.
Good hôtel, Nice staff particularly Mr CO and Mrs Nhung
Good place good position good food good restaurant good staff small pool no free sauna no free steam live music in the cafe at night
Location perfect. Walking distance from all main activities. Spacious and clean room. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return in future.
Nothing
I had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable, providing the perfect environment for a restful night. What truly made our stay memorable was the staff. Both the customer service team and the housekeeping staff were remarkably warm, friendly, and always eager to help with a smile. The food selections in the lounge were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Thank you for the hospitality!
Amazing hotel, 5 star service, fabulous
Hieu bell was very nice, provided good service
We stayed in a beautiful suite with lounge access which was incredible. The highlight of our stay was meeting Chieu in the lounge who provided an unbelievable service in the lounge, he should be promoted to a senior position as his affable demeanor, enthusiasm and his skills are best in class and has made the experience on the lounge one to remember.
I recently spent fourteen nights at the Caravelle across two separate reservations for what was, in many ways, a once-in-a-lifetime father-daughter journey back to Vietnam. My father is now ninety years old and first left this country decades ago under circumstances very different from those that brought us back together. We deliberately chose the Caravelle not simply because it is an excellent hotel, but because it is one of Saigon's enduring heritage landmarks. This place has quietly witnessed history while continuing to welcome new generations of travelers. Before my father even arrived, the hotel accommodated my request to have our rooms next to each other. This required modifying his original reservation and upgrading him to a different room category, a decision I was very happy to make because I wanted him to enjoy every comfort possible during this special trip. His flight arrived early in the morning, and having our rooms side by side made everything effortless from the very beginning. He was genuinely delighted with his upgraded room, and I was grateful that the hotel's reservations and front office teams worked with me to make the arrangement possible. It was one of many thoughtful gestures that set the tone for the warmth and professionalism we experienced throughout the following two weeks. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered wonderful views over the city. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities and high-quality bath products that encouraged me to slow down and enjoy the room after a busy day in Saigon. Like many historic hotels in tropical climates, there are naturally areas that would benefit from periodic refurbishment. I noticed that some of the furnishings and curtains are beginning to show their age. Vietnam's humidity is simply part of the environment, not a flaw of the property. When I mentioned that the rooms felt damp, the hotel promptly installed dehumidifiers in both of our rooms, which remained in place for the duration of our stay. It was a practical solution delivered quickly and without hesitation. Construction was underway during our visit, and the hotel informed us in advance with a thoughtful note placed in each room. Although the famous Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar was temporarily closed for renovations, this ultimately mattered very little to us because we had intentionally planned much of our stay around enjoying the Signature Lounge when at the hotel. The Signature Lounge deserves special recognition, particularly Uyên, Anh, Nhi, Kiet, Oanh, Quynh, Nam, Huy, Dat, Ngan, and Khang (my apologies if I overlooked anyone). As a daughter traveling with an elderly parent, I naturally found myself watching everything. I watched how staff interacted with my father when I was beside him, but I also watched when I quietly stepped away. Every single time he entered the lounge, he was greeted warmly and respectfully. Assistance was offered naturally and sincerely. Nothing ever felt scripted. There was a quiet kindness in the way every member of the team cared for him, and I will always remember it. What impressed me most was not simply individual excellence, but the way the lounge staff functioned as a true team. Leadership, full-time employees, and trainees all worked together seamlessly with obvious pride in their craft. Service never felt scripted or mechanical. Instead, each member contributed something uniquely their own while maintaining remarkably consistent standards. They anticipated needs without hovering, remembered preferences without making a spectacle of it, and somehow balanced professionalism with genuine warmth. I had the pleasure of chatting with many members of the team throughout my stay while my father enjoyed reading, reflecting, or reminiscing. Each conversation revealed a different personality, a different story, and a different way of making guests feel welcome. It is rare to encounter a hospitality team that functions so cohesively while still allowing each individual to shine. This balance is undoubtedly one of the Signature Lounge's greatest strengths. In the end, I have a meaningful token that now rests on my arm, always reminding me of my father, Vietnam, and the many people who quietly became part of the journey that led me to it. I must also enthusiastically recognize the Kara Spa, which became an essential part of my stay. Over the course of two weeks, I booked six massages, ranging from 90 to 120 minutes, all with Ms. Van. Simply put, Ms. Van is exceptional. She possesses remarkable strength, consistency, and intuition. Every treatment was methodical and focused, with careful attention paid to areas of accumulated tension from long flights, work commitments, and constant travel. Her pressure remained wonderfully consistent throughout every appointment, something that experienced spa guests know is surprisingly uncommon. Travel inevitably brings unexpected schedule changes, and I had to adjust several appointments at the last minute. The spa staff accommodated these changes graciously and professionally each time. Their flexibility allowed me to continue taking care of myself during what was otherwise a very demanding work trip. By the end of my stay, my appointments with Ms. Van had become more than a luxury; they had become a necessity. They had become part of the rhythm that allowed me to maintain both my professional commitments and fully enjoy my time with my father. I cannot recommend her highly enough. The Caravelle is much more than a luxury hotel or a destination for business travelers. It is one of Saigon's living landmarks. Give yourself enough time to appreciate its history, enjoy its hospitality, and allow the people who work there to get to know you. If you do, I suspect you will leave with far more than photographs and souvenirs. My father and I certainly did.
We found this location a bit by chance and a bit by luck. Location mattered so we took a chance on this hotel even though it cost more than other places. Glad we did. Amazing location with easy access to most walking sites. The place was super clean and the staff was amazing. I would stay here again for sure.
The location was extremely close to everything. In the middle of the high end street.
All was perfect
Wonderful experience. Very kind the personal, special the concierge Lady NHUNGH. Location is perfect. We love the restaurant. Love the architecture

Loved our stay at the Caravelle. From the friendly welcoming and very efficient reception team, we appreciated our quiet well appointed room that had quality bedding, a well appointed, spacious bathroom which was immaculate and functional including excellent hot water temperature and pressure, in addition to premium toiletries - we really felt pampered. Pool is huge and wonderful to swim in, has plenty of quality clean sunbeds and the pool service is attentive and friendly - menus were brought to our chair, no running around trying to get staff attention here ! Caravelle was our favourite hotel in all the equivalent larger Saigon hotels we have stayed at, we felt looked after and that they prioritise a good guest experience rather than what is easiest for the hotel, we look forward to trusting Caravelle again in our next upcoming Vietnam trip, well done Caravelle and thank you ! Highly recommended !
Location is excellent, the buffet breakfast had a great range of selections. The breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning of our stay.
Our bellman, Hieu Bell was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Caravelle. The hotel retains a traditional and authentic approach located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, with high-up views and exceptional breakfast buffet food. Our room was spotless, with clear instructions, and luxury-quality everything. Worth its value in full. There was low noise and the amenities surpassed expectations.
The hotel was nice, the staff was very attentive, and the room was comfortable with a good view. I stayed here because of its history (it housed many diplomats, crews from ABC and CBS News, and was bombed in 1964). Unfortunately, the Saigon Saigon Bar, which was where much of the history took place, was closed for a three-month renovation (beginning in May 2026). Most of the rest of the hotel was upgraded/modernized to the point that it looked like any other high-end hotel. I was hoping for a little more unique character. But if you're looking for a nice, high-end hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, this is a good option.
Everything was excellent. Location, room, bed, amenities, and not o for get the staff
Can’t say anything negative.
Location is fantastic, and surrounded by quality shops and facilities

5* quality hotel, great central location. Nice swimming pool. Very helpful staff.
The very best location, all the major attractions are withing walking distance. The Hotel is just Fabulous inside the atmosphere is classy and the rooms are so charming, clean and modern. The very best value for a 5 star Hotel. All the personnel are friendly and professional. One of the best Hotels I had ever stayed.
Caravelle is really 5 stars. The hotel is clean, breakfast is very delicious. I also take buffet dinner which is great, lot of good food. I receive nice and quick support from Ms Chau Le ( sales person ) she knows well all the services the hotel is selling. Needless to say, all staffs here present professionally. If you have parcel to ship prior to your trip, you can courier send to hotel, they have Concier to take care of it for you. This is my second time to this Caravelle, last time in 2018 I can enjoy music in Saigon Saigon Bar ( Roof top ) with foreign singer and band. There a legal and big parking space in front of the hotel, the car can park and wait for you if needed. Meeting is nice and wide of option. Last time, I came to stay in Caravelle for a event and admitted professionalism of meeting arrangement. Thanks. Tien Nguyen.
Perfectly positioned hotel in Ho Chi Minh. I will definitely make The Caravelle my first option when visiting Ho Chi Minh in the future. The quality of the room and all staff experiences were exceptional.
Everything I stay here many times
fabulous, perfect place with history as well
Fabulous and fantastic location
Lacked a bit of soul
Perfect location, easy to walk to for sightseeing. Rooms very clean and breakfast lovely. Concierge very helpful, especially Nhung who arranged for local meals for us - all were excellent. She also booked a motorcycle tour which was fantastic as we were able to travel around the backstreets of Saigon. Definitely recommend this hotel - all the staff very helpful
Great location, friendly staff, and well-appointed amenities.
It’s a great location easy to get around
The property is beautiful and their breakfast if very good,
Very clean, friendly staff and convenient location. Walking distance to most attractions, restaurants, designer shopping boutiques and shopping malls at your step.
The best hotel at the end of my month long vacation in SE Asia. I stayed 2 nights. Great location near the Opera House, attentive service, fantastic pool and the most comfortable bed.
The best location. Cannot fault this hotel. Staff, room, roof top bar perfect. Pool lovely. Easy to get to from airport.
We love the Caravelle, it is in the best location. We booked a signature room and as this was our ninth visit we were upgraded to a slightly bigger room which was much appreciated. Signature room allows you to have drinks and canapés in the evening and also breakfast in a quieter area which suits us. The pool is great especially after walking the streets in a very humid Saigon. The Spa is so so good. We will definitely stay here when next we come back to Vietnam
Excellent location- old world charm- fantastic staff and amenities
The Signature Lounge is very nice, with a great view over the city, and offers drinks, good canapés, and a good breakfast too. Room beautifully appointed, very comfy beds
No bathtub in the Signature room category The shower gel and shampoo look posh, from an "Australian-owned brand" but are actually made in China. At this price point, I would expect something either real luxury or locally sourced if they are aiming for SDG. OEM stuff from China fits neither the image nor the idea. The same brand is used in M-gallery hotel too though, so perhaps that's how things are now.
