Window view blocked by buildings, aircon, watertanks equipment on surrounding rooftops, etc.. Socket beside bed not convenient to use with adaptor.

Not sure about other rooms but our room was on the ho chi statue side and it’s very very noisy at night when trying to sleep, breakfast is average at best, the staff need to be more welcoming. Tried to charge us for being 1.5 hours late for checkout when we had an emergency with our 10 month old daughter. The baggage handlers weren’t happy about how many suitcases we had also. It’s not a 5 star hotel - priced right

Perfect location perfect staff and perfect rooms. Were upgraded to the executive suite and I stuffed up the reservation but they fixed it up no problems. The breakfast buffet is one of the best

Reservation team was not very helpful and unreasonable with customer service. They failed to give the customer correct information and failed to respond to customer email.

It was what we didn't like. Close to everything we needed in Saigon. Got a free upgrade of city view. Excellent restaurant upstairs. Breakfast had to be the best we have had. Had an early check out at 5am they provided a breakfast box to take with us.Staff were super helpful. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

The staff are so amazing and the hotel is definitely 5 stars. We were upgraded to the executive wing and it was fabulous. The breakfast buffet is amazing and especially love the pho station.

The staff are excellent,the management and check in staff,need alot of work, they are very eager to rip you off , I suffered two instances plus their treatment of my wife because she is Vietnamese leaves me discussed, would I recommend this hotel ,I don't think so ,not without a labotamy, I use booking .com all the time, this was a mistake!!!! I in this instance i hope if you chose to stay here do your homework first !!!! so let me be clear ,a drink on the menu says 279000 the bill 404000 ,not a big deal you say ,okay i ask at happy hour 2 for 1 the answer yes ,the bill arrive for two drinks ,and its an argument to get them to honour ,which in the end they did ,how about they charge you for a room for one night and not let you stay, well this is still the subject of ongoing debate ,for me its not about the money ,let me stress that ,weather i get a refund or not the money will go to the orphanage in vung tau which i support,maybe its a cultural thing or its because i am from australia where things are clear, but i hate getting ripped off ,but i love this country and its people ,

The way the check in staff are rude and try to trick you when you have genuine complaint, they are a bread apart the rest of the staff are great, perhaps the check in management and staff should spend some time cleaning the toilets to learn how to behave to guests , the hotel looks good on the ground floor ,but the rooms are tired and dated and starting to fall apart,the bathrooms are 2 star ,yes 2 star ,the shower is in the bath ,the shower curtain is plastic ,so water gets all over the floor ,the tiles are cracked and coming apart, the handle for the bath is broken and falling of the wall ,the aircon broke down ,there is no air in the hallways ,so they are hot and stuffy

Overall there was a lovely feel to the hotel, a grand old 5 star hotel with the history of the place really well celebrated, which is why I booked it. The rooms are very large and well maintained.

Some areas of the hotel seem a little neglected. The lift system is very confusing.

A côté de la piscine, un des murs qui le longe fait à peine 1m de haut. Derrière c'est le vide ... C'est super dangereux pour des enfants !! Il faut prévoir au minimum des barrières de protection avant qu'un drame n'arrive! Impossible de quitter les enfants qui se baignent de vue à cause de cela ce qui est fort dommage !

On arrival the staff member was incredibly rude and unaccommodating, somehow the booking was missing my partners details. It was very expensive to add him in and he didn't even explain why. Then he told me no one was available to discuss with booking.com as its a weekend, for goodness sake in hospitality every day is a work day.

Always a pleasure to stay at Rex. Super friendly staff at all levels.

L’accueil Le petit déjeuner Non flexible, tout est compliqué J’ai demandé le petit déjeuner à emporter car nous partons à 5h30, nous n’avons pas de choix de choisir notre petit déjeuner même pas un yaourt pour un enfant de 4ans c’est inadmissible Les petits déjeuner préparés par l’hôtel sont partis à la poubelle car dégoûtant Le cocktail offert par l’hôtel de 5 étoiles servi dans un verre plastique , horrible Ça ne nous fait plus envie de retourner pour prendre un verre le soir au bar Un employé m’a bousculé avec les coups de bras 2 fois, c’est du jamais vu

Stayed in Governor King Suite, nice room, adequate space with separate longe area 2 toilets, etc. Visit Saigon 3-4 times per year and Rex Hotel in a great position at the end of the street, making it easy for taxis to collect you. Stayed at all the others as well, Caravelle, Siagon Grand etc but the Rex is best for position. Main reason I stay at any 5 star hotel is the quality of the gym, crappy gym, then I don't stay. Rex gym is pretty good.

Hmm, this is maybe a grizzle. I took a number of people up to the roof garden bar area, which is very nice, however, the band playing eliminates any opportunity for conversation, which is the purpose. Even at the farthest end of the upstairs area, out of the way, the noise was most intrusive and annoying and disrupted any attempt at conversation. So, one drink and we left and never came back. Stayed 7 nights. Rex Hotel should have a separate area set aside for people who actually want to communicate with each other rather than being forced to endure a blasting noise.

Clean very comfortable bed the room size was great. Location great and all the big brand names walking distance. Staff are great and friendly and very helpful

We had a wonderful stay at the Rex Hotel! The breakfast buffet was fantastic with great options for my wife and daughter, who are non-vegetarians. As a vegetarian, I was incredibly impressed by the service. The moment the staff realized my dietary preference, they went above and beyond—Linn and the team proactively offered and prepared personalized vegetarian noodles and stir-fried tofu just for me.Our Premium Twin room was very spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you would expect from a top-tier hotel. The exceptional hospitality really made our trip pleasant. We will definitely be back!

​Frühstückszeiten: Das Frühstück gibt es nur bis 10:00 Uhr. Für ein internationales Touristenhotel ist das unserer Meinung nach etwas zu kurz – ein bisschen mehr Flexibilität (z. B. bis 10:30 Uhr) wäre "einmalig" gewesen. ​Kaffee im Zimmer (Wichtig für Diabetiker!): Auf dem Zimmer gab es leider nur löslichen Kaffee, der bereits Zucker enthielt. Das ist ein großes Problem für Menschen mit einer Zuckerkrankheit (Diabetes). Zucker ist nicht gesund. Bitte leitet dies an das Management weiter: Es sollte immer auch ungesüßter Kaffee/schwarzer Kaffee zur Verfügung stehen! ​Zimmeraussicht: Wir hatten eine Woche lang ein Zimmer, dessen Fenster direkt auf das Nachbarzimmer blickte. Wir dachten eigentlich, dass alle Zimmer hier eine schöne Aussicht bieten. Das war leider enttäuschend.

The location is unbeatable and the breakfast was excellent. We are a family of 5 and booked a king and a twin with an extra bed. We were lucky enough to be given an interconnected room which was perfect for us. The rooftop bar area is really special and the pool was great for the kids. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

The rooms are a little dated but I actually found that added to the experience. The location means it’s very busy right outside but the noise from the street didn’t carry to us. We could hear a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms.

One of the junior porters was a bit upfront telling me that he needed to be tipped personally for opening the door of the taxi, i explained that i had tipped the head man enough for all of them
