Excellent staff

I liked everything

Clean. Comfy bed. Reasonable sized room. Good AC. Nice breakfast, but quite busy at all times (for breakfast only). Staff lovely. Location great. Clean surroundings. Fancy area - Gucci, Louis Vuitton shops nearby.

There was a wide range of food for breakfast catering for all tastes. The location of the hotel was very convenient for all the major sites in the city and the staff were very efficient, helpful and professional. Their friendly attitude extended throughout the hotel including the roof bar and restaurant where we enjoyed drinks and freshly cooked food. The bedroom was spacious and the housekeeping staff maintained it to a high standard.

It may be an idea to put a copy of the food menu in the bedroom information pack. Some of the bedroom decor is tired but keeping on top of the rooms must be difficult.

I liked the position of the property. The rooms were big and very clean. I also liked the pool at the property.

We were staying at the property again as a stopover from Copenhagen on our way home to Melbourne. We were arriving at the property at approximately 6am and Asked what the cost of an early checkout would be. We were told that the cost would be a full day cost which I felt was expensive seeing we were only checking in 7 hours early which is not even half a day.

We were very comfortable. The beds were large and the room was big. Shower was powerful. We stayed in the main shopping area too. With lots of restaurants. The staff were very obliging and helpful.

I think the spa needs to be redecorated. It is very dated.

Everything. The welcome at reception was a great start. The rooftop bar/restaurant/terrace was spectacular. The attention from all the staff was first class. The pool is elegant and relaxing. The rooms were very comfortable.

This is very much nitpicking, but the controls in the shower were tricky, and not mastered by either of us.

Excellent location in the heart of HCM City. Very easy to walk around. The room is spacious and they have given me a quite room at the corner per my request. This is the hotel I usually stay for my business trips in HCM City.

Great stay! The location was excellent, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, the hotel was clean however a little dated, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

The Grand Hotel is exactly as the name says, Grand. It's like stepping back into a more elegant world. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful as well. The room was beautiful, luxuriously furnished with lovely bed linen. The provided toiletries were high quality. It was truly an amazing experience. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave!

It’s heritage character and location. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

All staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. A fantastic location, we walked to a lot of attractions most days and when we didn't want to the 'hop on hop off' bus was right down the street! Buffet breakfast was amazing with a great variety to choose from. Pool and cocktails also great! Will definitely stay again when we next visit.

The breakfast was okay, muesli from a packet. The eggs etc were good the healthy breakfast not so good.

This is a good hotel - "Grand" in many respects. But avoid it if you are elderly. The bathtub is magnificent, but designed in an era before old people travelled. That said, small things like fresh razors and other "vanity" items are regularly refreshed. Water is provided daily. Requests for wakeup calls or anything else are honoured. It's architecturally grand, it's convenient.

Back to the magnificent bathtub. It's too hard for the elderly to get in and out of. A step or two needs to be added, quite dangerous getting in and out of it. The floor is dead flat with one small drain. Water, with no slope, goes everywhere and remains dangerously everywhere. Clothes left anywhere on that bathroom floor are at risk of being soaked along with everything that might be in them like passports and money.

The bed was that big my wife and I communicated by text. It would have slept a family of 5 adults. Room was good, shower had great pressure and immaculately cleaned daily.

Location was awesome - rooms are pure luxury!

Great location. Easy walk to shops and some attractions. Breakfast was good with something for everyone without being exceptional.

A little bit older style but still very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

I stayed here because I like old Colonial Hotel and buildings with history. the Hotel is very nice, and it has a certain glamour to it. the buffet is good.

I didn't like the shower arrangement in my room, taking a shower standing in a bathtub and the whole bathroom got wet even with the curtain closed, so you always had to clean up the water on the floor. the Hotel is expensive and compared with other Hotels and apartment in Vietnam, it's hard to justify the cost.

Rooms were big and comfortable! The facilities were good and the breakfast had a wide selection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and you can even book great guided tours through the hotel!

Getting charged for my wife on arrival, my mistake apparently, when I made the booking apparently I only booked the room for one adult.

Location location. Huge comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool and a gym with all the basic equipment. Super friendly staff.

Single use plastics in the bathroom.

Top location and great sky bar. Large bedroom with excellent shower and wonderful view. Varied breakfast. Truly appreciated card and flowers for 50th wedding anniversary.

The crew and services are great!

There was constant noise from workers in the nearby room during official holidays and weekends, which made it difficult to rest. The room also lacked enough electrical outlets for modern needs. The food was quite average, if not below expectations.

Pool access was difficult for me with limited mobility. Nevertheless, the staff were on hand to help. I disagree with the guest and payment card having to be the same name. This caused us issues as my wife and I chose to keep our pre-married names. This is the ONLY hotel we've stayed with such a restrictive policy, out of a great many.

The location was in the heart of Saigon, close to attractions and lots of restaurants. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff generally helpful.

One of the staff members at the pool bar was extremely slow to make the drinks, probably because she was playing on her phone.

Location is excellent, room is good, breakfast is ok, atmosphere is great.
