Every thing was fine only for breakfast.
Bacon was cooked to long, very dry. Tomatoes full of grease. Orange juice was water! it must have been the worst orange juice I have ever had.
everything
The location, and the car park space.
Very nice and friendly staff.
Aircon not working, room was stuffy, window has mega restrictions, can't get fresh air. Staff told us hasn't worked for ages,so why are the window restrictions not removed. Poor management of the problem!
Very expensive for food and drinks. We went across the road for better value. Difference if breakfast. £17.5 compared to £9.99
Location
A bit tired
Clean and tidy, staff very polite and helpful.
Having to pay extra to use the facilities and car park.
Easy to find good EV charging facilities Good solid food choices, reasonable range of drinks
Not clear it’s £7.50 a night to park which seems a lot .
Great hotel, looks good
Too hot in the room and could do with better pillows
It’s was modern and the room had everything I needed
It was extremely loud it was very hard to sleep there was a bar directly underneath us and the police attended at 11pm at night.
Absolutely loved the breakfast!!!!
Parking was packed…. But can’t be helped really
The cleanliness and the room was comfortable and everything we needed
One light wasn’t working and there was nobody from maintenance to fix it
Bed was comfortable.
Loud gym session blasting out at 6:00am. Make sure you book a room in a high floor.
Great for our purposes - a one night stay while visiting friends. We got a late check out so didn't try to food
The rooms could have been a bit more soundproof
Staff were helpful.
Very noisy in the reception and eating areas on the ground floor but the room was quiet and we found that good. Also that wr were able to eat in our room away from the noise.
El bar restaurante
El baño
It’s great
Nice place
No air conditioning
Staff was very nice and helpful
Property was nice
Breakfast was good with lots of choice.
Room could have done with more decoration. Lound music being played in reception.
Everything was nice
Very nice
Cosy, Felt Luxurious, Great Breakfast with 2 of everything!
The room was modern and clean with great facilities and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The sports bar was very loud for an evening g meal but we found a really nice neighbouring g restaurant that was perfect.
On site gym, pool, sports bar/food and comfortable rooms that are reasonably priced.
Given the location (1km from the train station) charging for parking seems a bit excessive.
Everything
Nothing
spacious room modern looking, nice hallways and doors
Beautiful hotel ideal location and spotless and so much on site. The staff are amazing and so friendly and cannot do enough to help you.
Noting
Nothing gone very down hill
Staff need course in customer service absolutely rude if you complain your on drugs asked to do a drugs test infront of them as never taken drugs i just don't as bad a service when paying for it
Great price for quality place
Nothing
The hotel is great with a gym and bar & grill and coffee shop in one place. I go to the gym there so I know that it is a decent place. It is good value for money and professionally run and a £5 taxi fare from both train stations
My only gripe would be the facilities in the room are not up to standard of similar hotels - the TV's need updating so you can 'cast' your channels from your mobile like SKY & HBO and watch your stuff & little things like no fridge to keep water cold. They are building padel courts at the back of the hotel. I was aware of this but other guests might find the noise annoying - they starting some work at 8am which is a bit naughty but come Oct the work will be finished. Padel rackets make a load of noise so can see this being an issue
Rooms where comfortable and clean.
Asked for room to be refreshed after the first night and second but wasn't done. Had the same towels for 3 nights and had to go buy milk and coffee for the room.
Starbucks was a plus!
Not enough lighting
Gym/pool
We ask about the gym/pool, if any extra additional charges to use it, the staff told us it was included whilst we were staying here which was already paid.We use the pool once on the first day,and when we checked out we was charged for three days,I ask the staff why was I charged for something we did not use the other two days, and she said it was company policy that the hotel charges the whole three days IT'S ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND DAY LIGHT ROBBERY FOR BEEN CHARGED FOR SOMETHING WE DID NOT USE AND COULDN'T GET A REFUND.
Nice place and comfortable room. I will use it again if I am working back in that area. Evening meal was good and friendly staff.
Finding a car park place on the first night was a nightmare. They have a load of building work going on at the rear and looks like they have lost a lot of the parking spaces. It took 30 minute just moving around the carpark when I arrived to be able to find a space as someone pulled out - not my favourite activity after a 5 hr journey to get there. The second night I managed to get a space pretty much as soon as I got back to the hotel - the luck of the draw......
central location. nice short walk along the river to the town centre.
some construction work going on across from the hotel.
Convenient
Staff. Food.
Everything, it was perfect

Great hotel. Lovely rooms and great facilities. Perfect location 👌
Location excellent for station and shopping. Rooms very comfortable quiet and clean
Some of the sports coverage in the dining room restaurant was very loud and put me off having Sunday lunch there. I went to the pub across the road for a roast dinner which was also excellent
Air conditioner was not working
Breakfast was awful food and plates cold
Breakfast
When we arrived at hotel we were told we would have to pay 15£ each for parking, I told the person at reception we had 4 motorbike and would be chaining them together and would only take up one car space, she said it didn't matter 4 vehicles each had to pay 5£ per night. We were also told if we charged breakfast to room it was12£ or if we just walked into restaurant it would be 17£, we charged each morning to the rooms before entering, however when we were checking out we were charged 17£ ,I questioned this and was told we had to book breakfast the day before. Because of greed I won't be staying again. It was my 5th time to stay there.
Fresh, tasty and conveniently available. Our sitting location was ideal close to window with a good view.
Getting tea, coffee, toast, etc was a bit inconvenient. Table service for tea coffee would be good.
The location
Thought the food was expensive and have to pay 12.50 for Child breakfast which I might add I didn’t
The staff where excellent, room big and nice beds
very noisy although i know not your fault The rooms were dirty, lots of hair balls and bathroom not been cleaned well at all
The location was perfect for the reason and places I required to visit. Hotel was calm and quiet not loud and noisy! Friendly staff.
The basin was broken so I was unable to use the sink. I did go to the reception desk and asked for assistance in getting it fixed was told a person will be with me in half and hour but didn’t turn up throughout the whole visit extremely disappointing as was not able to use the basin at all otherwise it would have flooded the room. Poor lighting and a very small window room felt stuffy
Stayed before. Rooms nice little upgrade.
Was put in a hot room with aircon not working
Love the swimming was awesome
Could do with a little more cold air in the room other than that it was brilliant
Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities
Everything
Just loved everything, will definitely be back 👍
Didn't like we only stayed for 1 night 😢
Fantastic stay as always. Loved the little birthday touches I got in my room, that was a pleasant surprise. Look forward to going back soon.
Great location for us and the hotel feels spacious and not over crowded despite being quite busy and popular - especially with gym goers! Liked the two full size double beds and the massive room - great with two kids. The aircon was fab for the warm weather but it didn’t get super cold, glad we brought a fan with us. The room worked well for us as a family with kids that go to sleep at different times and all of us slept really well - we didn’t hear any noise from the bar or out in the corridors which is amazing given how bustling the place can be on a Saturday night. This is close to family for us so think we will definitely stay again if the rates are reasonable.
The room looked unfinished there was a huge expanse of space under the tv that really needed a sideboard or dresser. There was no where in the bedroom with a power point and mirror so getting ready was tricky. The lighting was insufficient for the size of the room too, it really needed a floor lamp in the far corner. Overall, it was just a bit bare! My husband took the kids swimming and said the pool wasn’t too clean, their bathers were a bit smelly too when they came back so we skipped that on the second day.
Good hotel, good breakfast . If room is too hot due to aircon not very powerful reception will give you a fan.
I stayed here on business and it's a complete nightmare. The hotel is suffering an aircon failure meaning that the rooms are massively overheating. When I asked to move the only rooms with aircon were accessible rooms. I didn't eat in the hotel during the evening as the menu was not to my taste however the breakfast was interesting. The food was awful with undercooked bacon, rubbery eggs and various other issues. Most amusing however was the staff member who came out whilst people were eating and demanded that people get what they want quickly as they were taking all the food away. Hardly a welcoming environment. To be fair the bed was comfortable but that's about it. I would never stay here again. And I would seriously recommend that anyone looking at this consider whether a slightly upgraded travelodge is really what they would like to experience.
We had a really lovely stay at Village Hotel Warrington. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and I genuinely think it might have been the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Gabriella on check-in deserves a special mention. She was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and couldn’t have been more helpful. It makes such a difference when the first person you meet makes you feel genuinely welcome. We absolutely loved the spa too. Kathy was exceptional and really went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. My partner loved the cold bath… I was considerably less brave! 😂 The sauna was lovely though and I really enjoyed having a swim. Breakfast the following morning was also excellent with plenty to choose from. My only slight disappointment was with the Club Room. The one Club Orange biscuit left for the two of us to share did make us laugh! 😂 That aside, we had a genuinely lovely stay. Comfortable, immaculately clean, great facilities and, most importantly, some absolutely wonderful staff. Gabriella and Kathy in particular are a real credit to the hotel and made our stay that little bit more special. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already booked to stay again, which probably says everything!
Clean and good location . Good bar .
Work outside our window early in the morning ruined our stay 😢
Room was clean
Frosted glass window over looking air con units, aircon not working in the room, a fan was in the room which had a fault on the cable to it ( would come on if you moved the cable ) so we left it alone. LED lights out side the bathroom would be bright then go dim and then went out and then back on again. Parking, we had to go to Chester on Saturday morning but did have second thoughts as the car park was packed with cars on the grass / on double yellows ( I could see though it looked like work on the far side was happening ) hopefully for more parking. TV remote control was filthy.
Nothing
Red hot rooms air con not working. Food served was not what was asked for
The hotel was clean and room was a good size. The pool was good.
No soap in the bathroom, I wasn’t aware there was a parking charge and there was very limited parking available, I think there was work carried out on the car park. Food was okay, I thought breakfast was overpriced for what you got.
Breakfast was fine, location perfect
The room was hot, the aircon did not work and the windows can be opened only slightly. It was a suffocating feeling in the small room.
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Bedrooms very hot
Lovely stay! All staff were friendly and helpful. Kathy on the gym/pool entrance was very friendly and helpful. Gave us all the information we needed and was just so lovely. Club room was large. Comfy bed and pillows. Room just seemed a bit bare but had plenty of room and was really nice.
We had our annual work function there, staff where lovely and so helpful.

Excellent pool, big rooms comfortable beds
Was not made clear at booking that pool was extra but more disappointed with the fact that pool time with kids was restricted. We arrived late about 6.45 and found out kids not allowed in after 7. And not before 9am either. Wouldn't have booked had I know.
Location and the facilities in the hotel
The air conditioning in the room didn’t work and it was like a sweat box. The car park was half shut off because they are having an extension but no mention of this when booking the room
I've had stayed a few times at the village Warrington, its never been the cleanest and the carpets / furniture was always marked. But never enough to make me not stay as it's convenient when I need it. However the room I stayed this time was a lot better, been freshly painted new carpet and clean. Miles better than previously. I stayed with my children this time and the room was a great size!
Still some areas there are alot of marks, staff are always just ok. However still alot better than previously.
The room was nice and clean, the bed was super comfy. The room was spacious and modern with a good size TV on the wall, would definitely stay again
I feel the lighting in the room could have been better as it was just right above the bed making it really bright in that space but not really anywhere else in the room, there wasn't a mirror above the table with the chair so getting ready was a little awkward if you are getting ready to go out into the local town centre of even downstairs at the hotel bar. There was no vending machine with a variety of drinks in for those who may be coming back late and wanting a soft drink/water to take up to their room
I’ve been a member at Village Gym for about 2 years it’s great. Kathy in the gym is always super useful, I would recommend getting a membership here.
The breakfast has improved greatly, you can get freshly made eggs in addition to all the other foods now.
As always the comfort of the bed and the friendly helpful staff
Air con was poor and weather was warm Did mention to reception
Usually I like Village hotels. Good facilities, nice rooms and this room was OK. But Village hotels all suffer from the same problem. Large hotels, tiny lifts. Not enough parking, noisy bars. This was not the best Village I've stayed in. It's having an extension built so over half the car park is unavailable. With gym goers and guests there were dozens of cars blocking the car park trying to find anywhere to park. I had to park on the grass verge. Room was hot, ac did nothing. No fans. Windows were open but all I could hear was the thump of loud music from the bar. I was so tempted to check out and drive home. I do not recommend this hotel.
Hotel & staff amazing. Catered for your every need
Couldn’t fault any of it
Staff at the hotel are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food at the Bar and Grill was good. Pool was a tad busy with Sunday morning swimmers. Jacuzzi was out of order. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the room itself was so dark that it was difficult to dry hair and put on make up. Frosted glass windows, with a wall for a ‘view’. Windows didn’t open far at all, but we had to close them during the night because of the noise coming from a compressor unit that must have been based under our room. Would we return? Sadly not, based on our first experience.
Location was good and the staff were helpful and understanding.
We chose the hotel because of the air conditioned rooms. On one of the hotter days of the year there was no air con! It hadn’t worked for some time in any of the rooms. The room was unbearably hot and no sleep was had! We have an electric car. When we arrived it seemed all the many charging station were in use. But only a few of the spaces had electric cars in, and those that were electric were not charging. The whole car park was full and we were still charged £7.50 for parking!
Dropped into the gym and pool/hot tub after a Hyrox event held at the Village which was also brilliant. Great facilities, particularly liked the ice bath for recovery. Kathy was super helpful and friendly on reception!
beds comfy
Charged for parking changed from previous stay and not mentioned in booking. Car park restricted. Breakfast poor
I liked the location
Too many people in and out.just using the gym
Dint stay due not having the room a booked
Dint have the room I booked so waiting for refund
Staff very helpful
Breakfast a bit expensive
Always liked the village, it’s good location and facilities, however over half the car park is currently closed and its chaos in and out.
Explained above
Breakfast was extensive and good value.
An arm chair and suitcase stand in the room would have improved the room.
Room was very clean, ample parking, plenty of food options
Room was too hot and the windows only opened slightly (a fan was provided)
The room was spacious with good facilities at the hotel and the staff that we spoke with were helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was awful, scrambled egg that seemed to come from a packet, barely cooked sausages, just awful breakfast, extremely disappointed.
Easy Check in. Good facilities.
Paying £5.00 for parking.
Bedroom was large and clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely but staff were rude. Breakfast was the best part.
When we entered the hotel all i could smell was fish that had been cooked. There was no other snacks or anything close by to walk to for snacks. Staff were great at bar area but in the swimming pool area were rude and no people skills. No pools around the pool but staff had there’s out showing another member of staff a dress to a wedding she was going to. Bathroom door was rotting a little around the edges and tiles missing on the floor but for one night I wasn’t going to complain. Over all I’ve stayed in nice and more expensive hotels and been treat better - only thing that saved this hotel was the breakfast and the room itself
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Charges for parking and difficulty getting a parking space
Brilliant service Kathy was really helpful and polite definitely go there again
We went to the gym / spa today with family. Kathy was amazing. She fully explained all aspects of becoming a member m, she was so helpful.
Kathy at the gym/ swim reception was very helpful and kind, helped us find stores nearby to buy swimwear and the swimming pool/ sauna / steam room was very lovely and peaceful too- would recommend 100%
We arrived at the hotel after a long journey hoping for a quiet and relaxing evening. As soon as we entered the hotel we were greeted with excessive noise from the bar, which opens directly into the reception area, together with loud music which was being played throughout the ground floor area. We ate in the bar area as it was too late to find an alternative venue, but the noise made it impossible to relax or enjoy the evening. The bar was not particularly busy, but the design (too many hard surfaces and open spaces) amplified the noise and meant that everyone had to raise their voices to be heard. This, together with the very bright lights made for a very uncomfortable experience. I think that the senior management of the hotel should undertake some neurodiversity training and realise that not everyone thrives in noisy, bright environments.
Absolutely joke charged for picking up daughter with grandkids after there stay at this hotel. BEWARE you get charged even picking up from the car park. Cowboy company who send out fines. Stay at another hotel.
I was new to this particular gym and my first encounter was with Kathy, she was warm, welcoming and always had a smile. I was impressed with her level of service and found the facilities to be adequate. Will be making the Warrington gym my main due to Kathy.
Always a lovely room and the staff were nice.
Work starting at 8am, was woken up to banging ( hammering) and what sounded like someone sanding something. Not a great relaxing morning, quite annoying really
Great facilities
Nothing really but breakfast did stop at 9am which was a bit early
Comfy beds, spacious rooms, quiet, great staff and value for money buffet breakfast
Nothing

Apart from Staff everything else was of a very poor standard. For the price - disgusting.
Good gym and good location
Was told we would be charged for parking which was not correct and the ac did not work.
Made me feel so welcome, upgraded us which was so kind and made our party for my hen do feel special.
