Coffee at breakfast tasted terrible. Two vertical lines down tv on one side when viewing. Would be good to have more variety of fruit and fruit juice at breakfast. Near to main roads.

The hotel is located near the train station of Derby, which was very convenient as we were spending one night there on our way from the north to East Midlands Airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. Very good value.

We got a very good deal for a double room and paid much less for being on the outskirts of Derby. The staff were welcoming. Room clean and tidy and quite spacious. Hotel also has a lift. Breakfast was average but for the price we paid, can't complain. Plenty of parking spaces and good location if you want to be close to Pride Park or ring road. it takes about 20 minutes to walk into the city centre. Before you get there, the Brunswick Inn is a must-see - the pub has been restored and serves a wide range of beer and ale (but we were informed Derby fans only on match days so plan ahead).

Great location. Nice restaurants nearby and only a 20 min walk into derby when you go along the canal. Premise was clean and modern. Good parking availability, good breakfast, staff were super friendly. Cant fault it.

It was immaculately clean and close to where we were visiting for the weekend . Breakfast was lovely and spacious eating area.

The fire alarm woke us up at 5 am - however it was a false alarm and was rectified quickly. We also requested a cot but it was not put in place as promised prior to the visit.

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Derby Pride Park by IHG. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to Derby city centre and transport links. The breakfast was also a great addition and offered a good selection to start the day. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay, and I would happily stay here again.

The bed was too small and not comfortable. We were given 1 pillow each, no one sleeps with just one pillow. The room wasn't clean there were sweets wrappers under the sofa bed, the window was dusty and there was mould in the shower.. We asked for a highchair at breakfast and it was filthy and not sturdy at all. Other chair hotels and much better and cheaper. It just wasn't a good hotel. We wouldn't stay again

I found our room quite small. The sofa bed - when opened into a bed was pushing against both the tv unit and the desk- not letting much room for the desk chair. Other than the size I cannot fault anything else.

Nothing to dislike. Since the car park appears to belong to the hotel , charging separately for parking seems silly. Just put it in the rental cost. Location of the hotel pretty much necessitates a car anyway.

The staff. All very helpful during our stay 7th-9th Aug 26 and nothing was a bother. All staff day and overnight had excellent natural customer service, so helpful. Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed, pillows and quilt. Dog friendly. Decent breakfast. Not an evening restaurant but you can order food and it’s a good range menu too. Price reflects the convenience but the food was very nice and very good portions. Providing milk at all hours for young toddler etc. location good. Easy to find from motorway, near train station for some of us and 2 lovely restaurants on the doorstep. Nice area and quiet. Decent car park. But thank you to all the staff and making the meeting up of 2 families including 2 toddlers and a dog, a very enjoyable stay!

Cleaners were more friendly than reception. Breakfast was decent.

Breakfast was chaotic. Not enough tables for guests and they were too close together to move inbetween. Returning to the hotel from the city centre at night involves either going through a dangerous park with homeless or the railway station staff letting you use their bridge.

The food was bad. Stale and dried out. It did the job, but a bit tough to eat. Sausages seemed warmed up pre-cooked. The bacon was rubbery and the scrambled eggs seemed to be reconstituted powdered eggs.

The food should have been cooked more often. It seemed like it had been out for a while, both days.

Die Lage war für uns optimal, da wir mit dem Zug angereist sind. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Das Fenster im Zimmer konnte man zumindest kippen, was für England nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Betten waren top, ich habe sehr gut geschlafen.

Schönes Zimmer - Restaurant Nicco direkt neben dem Hotel. Alles tipp topp! Parken gratis - Frühstück inklusive - war sehr lecker.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable and with no spare bedding. Bed was rock hard. The breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast that we have ever had. Someone at head office must build their entire career around keeping the cost of breakfast under £1 per person.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. When I had to leave a day early, they followed up after I had already left, to make sure that I knew how to get the refund for the extra day back from Booking.com.

The car parking set up is poor. You have to be very very careful about registering your car on arrival and settling the bill as it’s controlled by a private company and they are lethal - I got two £100 fines despite registering and the hotel had to intervene to resolve

Me and my partner arrived at the holiday inn at 1pm. We were welcomed really well and the lady at the reception explained us well that our room was not ready yet and would inform us when it is ready. We took a seat in the lounge and started working which consisted of online meetings. Another family was bought and sat close to us the TV was turned on loud volume making it incredibly hard to conduct meetings. The same lady came to get my partner saying that he room was now ready. My partner came back upset as another lady at the reception told him that we were provided with a room with twin beds. My partner searched for rooms online and explained that there were still double rooms available so why were we being deprived so she explained " its for other potential takers " she did make it as such that either take a twin room or leave. We took a seat in the lounge and started working which consisted of online meetings. Another family was bought and sat close to us the TV was turned on loud volume making it incredibly hard to conduct meetings. My partner was horrid with her attitude as it was definitely discriminatory as she saw an indian ethnic origin guest as a platinum member of IHG. Kindly re educate the individual that just we are different colour does not mean we should be treated like animal. Politeness, manners and etiquette do not cost much and if those basics are not delivered then platinum members like ourselves would go elsewhere. Really humiliated and disappointed with the service and what a representation for IHG

Always a pleasure staying here. Staff are really welcoming and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean and have aircon. This is my second time at the holiday inn, me and my partner will be booking more regularly, He loves it here.

The only thing i can say i didnt like is the hashbrowns with the breakfasts
