Food took a long time and ran out of draught beer on a Saturday evening and bar was not busy! Also a young barman who said he was leaving in two weeks having put in his notice, told me my friend had too much to drink and he wasn’t going to serve him again?! He had two beers at the time and was just happy having raced at the British Masters championship alongside the double world champion. (Me) he also has ADHD. I did tell him he was absolutely fine.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff

I had to relocate/change rooms twice. Once because the WC did not flush in my original room. So I was moved temporarily to a twin room for one night. Then to a double (I would have remained in the twin, but had paid for a double bed!)

The location was perfect as we were at an event at the Defy Arena. We stumbled across a restaurant call '7 juts around the corner which was great.

Lumpy pillows. I'm not sure about the policy of having rooms ready, but charging £15 for an early check in. If the rooms are ready, why not give access? I got changed in the car-park!

Room was very clean and well presented. The staff were super friendly and engaging and informative. Close to Town shopping Centre ( walking distance ) and a few restaurants nearby for variety

The room is spacious and bright. You have everything you need. It would be nice to have some sort of confirmation to the reception if you need - want extra stuff without going dawn stairs

Breakfast was probably good value but I would have paid more to have a bit more choice.

We stay here every year for the BTCC at Donington, it's reasonably priced, not far from the track and it's always clean and well maintained. All the rooms are pretty well equipped with TV, a kettle, some teas and coffees, a hairdryer, basic toiletries and clean towels. It's perfect for a couple of nights. There is an on site restaurant and bar although we haven't used either.

Could do with a tiny fridge in each room just for a couple of drinks, milk etc No iron (if you needed one) I always have to ask for extra pillows as only one supplied.

Ein besseres Preis-Leistung-Paket habe ich in vielen Jahren an Rundreisen in England nicht erlebt. Es hat Spaß gemacht, dort für eine Nacht zu wohnen. Man kann das Zimmer auch tagelang bewohnen, denn es ist sehr geräumig.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

New decor, relaxing bar/restaurant

Close to the station, modern hotel, has everything you need if travelling for business, restaurant, bar, small gym. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room, could have had water especially in the current heatwave and duvet cover was ripped.

The breakfast selection was pretty good and chef was actively checking/restocking it. The location was very handy for driving. Staff were generally fairly friendly. Probably better than you might expect given how cheap it is.

WiFi signal didn't reach the room properly so I had to use 5G the entire stay. Bed was a bit soft. Self check in screens made you enter address and contact details for every guest individually, on a touch screen that wasn't very good for typing; gave up and just waited in line for the check-in desk instead.

The room we were given, the bedsheets had blood stain, my husband is allergic to certain foods and he was ill. He went to reception at around 1:00 am at night to request if he can use their microwave to heat up the food as he needed to take a medication. Staff refused the microwave access and they were so rude, they showed no empathy

The hotel was modern, clean and in a very good location. I was really happy to stay there for few nights during the week.

There was not much space to dry up the towels.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, dinner service was as well even though the menu was sometimes limited. Room was modern and spacious and had a desk and two chairs, it was also fairly clean. Nice tea and coffee making facilities. Shower was very good. TV had a good selection of channels. Location is okay, it's about a 10 minute walk to town center.

Room was quite warm during my stay and the AC, even at full blast (which also made it quite loud) was barely able to keep up even at night when the temperature was colder.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms which was great for our dogs, comfortable beds, super bathroom with lovely smelling shampoo/hand wash/bodywash, WiFi worked great, requested our 2 rooms as close as possible and gave us even better with joining rooms. One of the best hotels we have been to!

I understand they were busy , but had to ask the staff to restock the breakfast items . Although the breakfast was good , when everything was there.

Great decor, clean and nice atmosphere. Rooms were nice Good breakfast options Dinner in the hotel restaurant was nice. Great value for money overall. Initial receptionist on arrival was lovely - fairly rushed off her feet but professional and helpful.

The air conditioning wasn’t working and hadn’t been working for a week with no communication that this was the case in advance or on arrival. A different receptionist smugly suggested I should just check out at 21:30 at night with my child, rather than present potential solutions, which was really not the standard of customer services that the hotel or customers should expect. The room was 27 degrees. Thankfully, once I turned off the faulty aircon and opened the window, it cooled down a bit. Totally appreciate that these things can happen but was taken aback by the backchat….

We've stayed in this hotel alot over the last 10 years was disappointed to find the pool table isn't there anymore even although it was still in the adverts

Room not getting cleaned when had asked it to be and no clean towels after being at a festival all day we looked forward to comming home for a shower and we had no towels went to reception was given 4 hand towels 🙈
