The location was excellent. The front of house staff were attentive and helpful. The bar is a nice area to chill in the evening and the cocktails were well made. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable.

The shower - you would be wading in water in the bath tub as it did not drain quick enough. The shower head was leaking everywhere, so you had to lean into the wall to get under the main jet which was reduced to a trickle. Quite uncomfortable and precarious for showering under.

Lovely staff and the room was lovely comfortable bed very clean. Lovely bar spacious and very comfortable.

The location was excellent and very convenient, but unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast.

The only thing I didn’t like was the unpleasant smell in the room. I opened the window to air it out, but unfortunately, the smell remained.

Perfect location, nicely decorated, friendly staff, a stones throw from bars and restaurants, and in a pedestrian area so quiet. Plenty of parking round the corner - 25/day but the room rate is cheap so works out well priced - and comfy bed, big room, slightly tired/dates but for the price it's definitely recommended. AC was nice too.

Only thing was that the room window didn't open and was misted out, likely as opened onto HVAC or rubbish storage. No smells or anything but fresh air would have been nice.

Location was good Property and Room itself was good if only sleeping arrangements was all matched to my booking.

The room provided was significantly different from the sleeping arrangement I had selected when making the booking for three guests. I raised the issue with the hotel immediately upon arrival, but it could not be resolved. end up sleeping 3 of us on 1 king size bed and it was very uncomfortable. I don't believe it was a stay worth £240 I have paid.

You had to pay extra for either a half or full cooked breakfast. The breakfast menu was v unusual. You could have as much cornflakes/Coco pops/Bran flakes as you want. But if you didn't like these, you could only choose 1 item from different sections of the menu - either Muesli & yogurt or a croissant or toast or pancakes. It wasn't my idea of a good breakfast or a Continental one which usually has cold meats & cheeses and fresh fruit. There were 2 of us sharing the room but only one set of towels visible. On enquiry, the other set were in a black bag in the wardrobe. No information given about internet log in details. No information details in the room.

Location. It was in an ideal location in the centre of the city. Reception area was very pleasant. Staff. The staff were polite, hard working, friendly and dealt well with my allergy. Bed was very comfortable and lovely soft pillows - had a great night's sleep.

Could not see the ground from my window - it just looked onto a roof and walls, so given that I could not open the window, it felt unsafe. The net curtain was torn, and the heavy window drape had come away from the runner at the top on the end of one of the curtains. The paint round the doors was badly chipped and the inside of the wardrobe door was grubby from other people's hands. It meant that the room looked run down. No USB port to recharge my phone. There were no bottles of drinking water in the room Had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.

I thought we had breakfast included but we hadn’t. Approached reception twice and thought cost was going to be written off especially as we chose the light option but my conversations were ignored. The Reception Manager was not in on leaving day and no-one else had the authority. There was parking, as requested, but it was £25 per night.

Front desk was adamant to keep us waiting until 3PM to get access to the room even though I called the day before and requested if one of our rooms can be free so we can change and then come back later to unpack and they said they will do their best. Disappointing customer service.

The room seemed very tired and so did the bathroom. But it was clean. Stay was fine but was rather pricey considering the condition of the room.

We booked and prepaid for two hotel rooms, but upon arrival, we discovered the hotel was fully booked; they could only provide us with one room initially. We waited all day for the second one and finally received it in the evening. The air conditioner in the room made such a terrible noise that we couldn't use it.

Ontbijt was ingewikkeld. We hadden geboekt inclusief ontbijt. Dat was zeer beperkt. Wel kon je kiezen uit allerlei extra maar die waren flink aan de prijs.

Super Lage direkt in der Innenstadt. Es gilbt einen kleinen hoteleigenen Parkplatz. Man muss aber früher da sein, da er nicht für alle Gäste reicht, eine Reservierung ist nicht möglich. Der Parkplatz kostet extra.

Mit dem Hund konnten wir nicht im Frühstücksraum sitzen. DAs Frühstück konnte man nur zwischen 2 Varianten wählen, alle sehr spartanisch.

stayed there for 1 night on 11th July 2026. paid extra for am upgrade room. Expecting no carpet in the room. but that request was disregarded. Not even an apology. The room they gave us was unacceptable. Small room. one towel.2 pillows although we requested 2 each. it was more set up for a member of staff bedroom than for guests. it was set up for a single person. there were no facilities or information as you would expect a guest to receive. ie mealtimes fire exit sighs. The bathroom had holes in the bath panels. and the bathroom floor.i did complain to the hotel staff at reception but they couldn't move us to another room as it was fully booked. was informed that although we paid for a room upgrade. it didn't include a non carpeted room as we didn't pay enough to receive that. we were not informed of this when we booked. what was the point of making requests on the booking form if nothing available. I sent an email to the hotel with my complaints including photos. I can send a copy to you. I have never to this day received a response from the management Have been totally ignored. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Disgusting and unprofessional treatment by the management

Het ontbijt dat via Booking.com inbegrepen was, was zeer beperkt. Voor een fatsoenlijk ontbijt moesten we bijbetalen. De badkamer was niet echt heel schoon en de temperatuur van de douche kon niet goed worden ingesteld, de douche was eigenlijk altijd te warm. Het hele hotel geeft een beetje de indruk van 'vergane glorie'.

J'avais réservé et payé pour un 25 mètres carrés avec 2 lits jumeaux. IL m'a attribué un 14 metres carres malgré mes remarques et mes explications. Un membre du personnel m'a expliqué que si je voulais un une chambre de 25 m carré je devais accepter un grand lit. Aucun dédommagement m'a ete accorde et aucune excuse.n'a été formulée.

Bathroom was a bit dirty, smell coming from the bath plug hole. People drinking and playing loud music directly outside our room into the early hours of the morning despite us being told they would stop by 10pm.

The hotel was in a perfect area for everything, staff was very polite.

Was not informed of the excessive daily parking charges when we checked in . We booked the hotel because it offered parking but on checking in there was no mention of the cost of parking .only found this out on checkout .Another £125 on top of the hotel cost . When querying this I was told there was notice in the car park . On looking we found one small notice obscured by a parked car . All other signage only related to parking for the hotel . Felt a bit ripped off . Don't think we'll be recommend. Bathroom could do with a better clean and the TV control was pretty grimy too . I did mention this on checkout

Very slow check-in because my room had been allocated to someone else. Reception staff were lovely and very apologetic but it took a long time to allow the booking system to allocate me to another room. An offer of a free drink or something would have been much appreciated! Nothing grand - just a small gesture. Room was small and dark, considering it was a 'desirable' room. In comparison with Abode Chester where I have stayed on a number of occasions, I was a little disappointed but I appreciate that this is a different building which may have its limitations.

Hidden costs. Breakfast was included in the price I paid but on the last day I was told that this did not include hot breakfasts and was asked to pay £20 for this at checkout. The car parking was not included and proved very expensive at £25 per day in nearby car parks. The hotel car park was similarly priced and not necessarily available and difficult to access because of a one way city centre location. I booked and paid for the room with a dog to stay. Fortunately, I checked before arriving and was told there was no room available. They did make an effort to change this for which I was grateful but it added to the stress. They then informed that this would be plus £20 per night. Not made explicutly clear in booking.com. in the end they charged me half of the dog fee. This might be a hotel or booking.com error but was a source of frustration.

Breakfast let the hotel down. I chose fresh fruit salad from menu. It was a small bowl mainly water melon. I was then not able to have a croissant as well without paying extra. I would not recommend the breakfast part of my stay

A luggage stand please / 2 chairs for double rooms / simplify the omplexity of the breakfast menu (compare Premier Inn) / the lack of charm and lack of empathy of some breakfast staff towards guests who have poor vision, poor hearing and do not have English as the first language / The menu needs to have bolder fonts, and a clearer layout - it is currently faulty if the staff have to re-explain the system.

Breakfast was just alright, and the staff were a bit more interested in their own relationships than with being attentive to the guests. Having said that, we didn’t want for anything and all questions and requests were managed effectively and efficiently.

Das im Preis inkludierte Frühstück war sehr reduziert,es gab nur Müsli,und auch da waren nicht alle angebotenen Varianten verfügbar. Außer Toast und Croissant ,etwas Butter und Marmelade hätte alles weitere (Käse,Wurst,Eier) noch zusätzlich gezahlt werden müssen,also ziemlich enttäuschend!
