Location. Very good service and staff

The room is very vary small. Not enough space to open two carry-on bags. Nowhere to lay out items in the bathroom. No AC and the room gets very hot at night - not in the summer! Even an open window does not help. Very expensive for what you get

The location was perfect and we could walk pretty much everywhere. The breakfast was also much better than I expected. We stayed as a group of three for the weekend and had a really comfortable stay.

Perfekte Lage, um Oslo zu Fuß zu erkunden. Außergewöhnliches Frühstück in einem fantastischen Frühstücksraum. Sehr ruhiges Zimmer, angenehme Atmosphäre im ganzen Hotel.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location and the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel!! If we ever come back to Oslo, this is where we’re staying again!

The rooms are micro size. Luckily we like cozy. But it’s tough to navigate around suitcases.

Tudo. As pessoas muito solicitas. Precisei deixar minhas malas, por um dia, no hotel, pois fomos para Bergen e eles não cobraram nada por isto. O café da manha também é muito bom. E a localização não podia ser melhor.

Die Betten haben recht weiche Matratzen. Sie hängen nicht durch, aber man liegt auf einer dicken weichen Auflagen. Wer gerne weich liegt, wird es lieben. Ich persönlich bevorzuge härtere Matratzen.

In a fantastic location right on the main street in Oslo. In walking distance of most attractions and shops. Lovely interior throughout with an excellent buffet style breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was fantastic! Location was in the heart of the downtown palace action and many neighborhoods were within walking range. The lobby bar was a great relaxing space, too.

Check in was delayed but the front desk comped us wine while we waited.

Great location on an elegant main avenue with shopping, restaurants, transportation, and major sights nearby. Right by Parliament and lovely to see the palace on a hill at the other far end of the avenue. About 10 minutes walking from Sentrum train station. Breakfast was excellent, large variety of food including smoothies and fresh juices. Room was comfortable and clean.

Reception, I emailed in April to check whether we can store our luggages for 3 nights in August when we’re out of town and we will stay at Karl Johan when we’re back from Norway in the Nutshell, and the reception team replied saying we can store the luggages for free. However, when we confirmed again on the day prior to our arrival, the team said they had a new initiatives this summer that they will charge NOK 100 per night for 2 luggages. The team was very pushy and harsh in the email communication, making the whole experience forced. Also, the gym is located at a basement, more like a dungeon, which was quite creepy and unsafe to workout at the gym.

Breakfast was very nice. pure Norwegian breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Washroom sink was so tiny, it was so difficult to wash my face and standard room was pretty small. Overall, very nice because of the location, which is probably the best.

Room size is very small. There should be water in the rooms.

Loved this hotel. We had back of house room so very quiet. Room was large with two chairs and a bench, enough room to put your luggage and toiletries. Loved the signature hand wash. Smelled like the forest.

Nice historic building but modern conveniences including dimmable lighting which I love!! Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent!

Très bon hôtel, cependant sans parking, l’a cueilli nous a renvoyé vers le parking d’un hôtel voisin sans les appeler au préalable et nous avons perdu une bonne heure avant de devoir chercher un parking public car il n’y avait pas de place disponible dans le parking de l’hôtel voisin

Au moins appeler le parking de l’hôtel voisin pour savoir si on peut y diriger les clients

Bra frokost, sentralt, rent og pent.

Hadde et rom som var litt kronglete å komme til. Om du ikke kan gå trapper, ville jeg spesifisert dette så man fikk et rom som er lettere tilgjengelig. Det var mye during på rommet, vet ikke om det er pga ac eller noe annet. Fant ikke hårføner, noe som var savnet

Room was very clean. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful with restaurant recs and helping us with a cab to the airport. Our room was ready when we arrived. There was a huge selection for breakfast.

המלון במיקום מעולה בעיר ואפשר להגיע כמעט לכל מקום ברגל. ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומגוונת מאד. החדר קטן אבל נוח ומאד שקט (חדר לחצר הפנימית). יש חדר כושר מאובזר.

אין מעלית ישירה לחדרים back house אין חנייה למלון, וצריך לחנות בחנייה ציבורית.

Uns hat es besonders gefallen, dass das Hotel sehr zentral in der Stadt liegt und auch die nächste U-Bahn-Station in nur ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Das Frühstück war fabelhaft - es hatte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und liess keine Wünsche offen. Wir können dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gute Lage. Familienzimmer nicht sehr groß aber ausreichend für drei Personen mit Gepäck. Das Frühstücksangebot ist hervorragend.
