Les chambres impeccables, grandes et rénovées, la piscine à débordement. La table teppanyaki, le dîner Langouste sur la plage. L’accueil et la gentillesse du staff.

L’hôtel mérite une rénovation des parties communes, notamment le grand hall d’entrée, et la partie restaurant. La nourriture doit être améliorée, les buffets sont assez pauvres, avec une qualité plutôt cantine que 5 etoiles, cela vaut pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner. La plage est agréable mais le niveau de l’eau étant très bas on ne peut pas vraiment nager. Certaines animations sont un peu cheap.

Piscine chauffée, face à la plage, bel hotel, belle infrastructure globale, des animations de qualité le soir. Qualité des transats.

La nourriture : Petit dejeuner pas à la hauteur d'un 5 etoiles, diner buffet cher (25 euros pour ma fille de 3 ans et demi :)) - et pas bon du tout. Dejeuner pareil, pas à la hauteur de tout ce quon a mangé dans le reste des 5 etoiles. Dommage ceci gache beaucoup du potentiel de l'hotel. Il faut sortir pour manger.

Οι εγκαταστάσεις του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πραγματικά πανέμορφες και πολύ προσεγμένες. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν εξαιρετικό, άνετο, όμορφο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο

Το βασικό μειονέκτημα για εμάς ήταν οι πολύ μεγάλες αποστάσεις μέσα στο resort, τόσο για την παραλία και την πισίνα όσο και για το πρωινό. Δυστυχώς δεν υπήρχε υπηρεσία με golf carts για τις μετακινήσεις των επισκεπτών, κάτι που με μικρά παιδιά έκανε την καθημερινότητα αρκετά κουραστική. Ειδικά το βράδυ, όταν τα παιδιά αποκοιμιόντουσαν, έπρεπε να τα κουβαλάμε μέχρι το δωμάτιο. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις ζητούσαμε μεταφορά, αλλά ακόμη και τότε δεν ήταν πάντα εύκολο ή άμεσο να εξυπηρετηθούμε. Θεωρούμε ότι μια οργανωμένη υπηρεσία golf cart θα βελτίωνε σημαντικά την εμπειρία, ιδιαίτερα για οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά. Όσον αφορά το προσωπικό, τα συναισθήματά μας ήταν ανάμεικτα. Κάποιες φορές ήταν πολύ φιλικό και ευγενικό, ενώ άλλες φορές όχι, κάτι που δεν περιμέναμε από ένα ξενοδοχείο αυτού του επιπέδου. Ακόμη και στο welcome, μας προσφέρθηκαν δύο ποτά, χωρίς καμία πρόβλεψη για τα δύο μικρά παιδιά μας. Μπορεί να είναι μια μικρή λεπτομέρεια, αλλά τελικά αυτές οι λεπτομέρειες είναι που κάνουν τη διαφορά στη φιλοξενία.

The room was nice but wasn’t cleaned properly, The heated pool was great plus the beach.

The service at this hotel was, in my opinion, quite poor. It didn’t even come close to the level of a 5-star hotel. For instance, the tray of the room service was left outside for more than 24 hours. I had to call them several times to get it. One of the blankets was sheared, and they didn’t notice it before they gave us the room. So, at night, we had to call them again for a replacement. I also noticed that during the buffet, they wanted to collect the food even before it was time, about 10 minutes early. They seemed in a rush, and to make matters worse, you had to pay for your own soft drinks. Another issue was that there were no mini bar options in the room.

Excellent hôtel, très confortable

Staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Whether it was booking restaurants in venue or arranging taxi's and expeditions, the service and experience received was exceptional.

The only addition would be to expand the facilities at the boat house - we used it a few times but I think more support for beginners of things like windsurfing would be useful.

Les restaurants ça ne va pas Buffet pas très varié, un restaurant fermé actuellement, deux autres ouvert de temps en temps sur réservation compliqué d avoir une place et seulement 10 place au restaurant japonais sur deux services . Cependant on a bien mangé au restaurant japonais mais ça été expédié et on a été mis dehors pour le deuxième service. Au buffet le perso. El est dépassé manque des boles, les commandes de boissons arrivent en retard ou pas .

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, direkt am schönen Strand von Flic en Flac. Es hat genügend Liegen und viele Möglichkeiten, den Tag abwechslungsreich zu verbringen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und bietet eine grosse Auswahl. Zudem gibt es mehrere Restaurants. Unser Zimmer war modern, gross und sehr sauber. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und aufmerksam.

- Negativ ist, dass es ausserhalb des Frühstücks im Hotel kaum günstigere Essensmöglichkeiten gibt. Die Restaurants und auch das Abendbuffet sind eher teuer. - Zudem schlagen die Zimmertüren sehr laut zu. - Die Marmelade beim Frühstück hat uns zudem überhaupt nicht überzeugt.

1/ /!\ PUNAISES DE LIT - BED BUGS → Retrouvées sur le lit au réveil avec des traces de sang + Taches noires sur les draps (excréments de punaises) + Boutons et inflammations cutanées 2/ Personnel éteint, peu sociable, de mauvaise foi, malhonnête et inhumain qui cherche à nous faire taire en nous offrant un "déjeuner" 3/ Aucun geste commercial de la part de l’hôtel qui a gâché notre séjour avec ces punaises de lit → Nous nous sommes retrouvés à la rue avec un bébé de 3 ans à chercher un autre hôtel 4/ Évacuations bouchées → ce qui a causé une inondation dans la chambre après la douche 5/ Constat de draps propres, serviettes propres, lit bébé entreposés dans un local à l'écart délabré et sale au bout du couloir de l’hôtel 6/ Présence extrême de fourmis dans la chambre malgré plusieurs avertissements à la réception. 7/ Piscine sale malgré les photos prometteuses ! + Enorme dépôt blanc (tartre) et noir (moisissures) juste au dessus de l'eau de la 2 eme piscine face mer 8/ Aucune bouteille d’eau gratuite dans la chambre -> pour un hotel 5 étoiles ... 9/ Tenue exigée dans les restaurants : OK → Cependant, même le simple port d’un short et de claquettes est interdit → Baskets et pantalon exigés… Dictature ??? 10/ Caution énorme à laisser en arrivant au check in (de mémoire 20 000 roupies) 11/ Jardin du fond de l'hotel avec cascade laissé complètement à l'abandon, strictement aucun entretien ... normal peu de personnes le voit mais beaucoup de chambres y sont pourtant => Tout cela pour 300 € la nuit !!!! => Hotel qui n'a que le nom Sofitel comme image de marque mais la qualité du service n'y est absolument pas pour un 5 étoiles !!!! HONTE AU SOFITEL DE FLIC EN FLAC !!!!

Breakfast selection could be better

The buffet dinner was fantastic! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size with sea views. Car park has lots of space available and the hotel is on the beachfront with a great sunset view!

It’s not close to any restaurants or shops it is a short drive or taxi ride away.

The dinner at the Teppenyaki restaurant was the nicest thing we had at the hotel, the chef was a lot of fun and his eye for detail was just great. The staff in the Chinese restaurant were also very nice and accomondating.

What you see on pictures is not what you get, the sun beds are old and very dirty - I made sure we put towels down before sitting on them and even the towels at times were dirty. Breakfast - buffet breakfast was quite standard, but it was just dirty, the floor, tables and chairs are not great. Even when you went into the cold room it was messy and food on the floor constantly. Dinner - the restaurants we went to Chinese was nice, the Teppenyaki was the best thing the chef was lovely and the experience was so good, even the stapp was nice. Again the buffet dinner was the same lots of staff but it was dirty, messy and chaos. Housekeeping - nearly everyday our room was not cleaned before 4pm and even some days 5pm - lots of days we had to ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms, and even then they wouldn't come for ages. When they did come it was always inconsistant where we would need to call and ask for things i.e. face towels or hand towels. One day we came back into our room and the bathroom had lots of strands from the broom they must of used and on our last night we found a bug in our bed. Room - the layout of the room is a little odd feels like a budget hotel rather than a Sofitel hotel we have stayed in other countries, the toilet is the smallest toilet where you can just turn around and extermely basic. The room size was fine but the bathroom was very odd. For a newly renovated room, this didn't feel very new or clean. Down the cupboard where the glasses were kept there were stain marks or like something had spilt. Calling for Staff - on check out we called reception around 5 times to see if anyone could help with our bags, there are no lifts and we had 5 bags. No one actually answered the phone so we struggled to get our bags to reception, when we got to reception there were so many staff we couldn't understand what was going on. We actually went to Sugar Beach for dinner one day and it was a million times better!

The service was disappointing. We had to argue to obtain the room we had already booked, paid for, and whose availability had been confirmed by the hotel several weeks in advance. To make matters worse, the receptionist asked to see our personal phone to verify previous conversations we had with the hotel. I would expect the staff to check their own records and reservation system rather than request access to a guest’s personal device. This approach felt unprofessional and gave the impression that our word was being questioned. Overall, it seemed that there was a lack of communication and coordination among the hotel staff, which resulted in an unnecessarily stressful experience. Fortunately, we decided to leave and stay at another hotel in the southwest of the island, where we finally experienced the level of service and professionalism one would expect from a true five star property.

The facilities are great however the service is not excellent it’s lacking definitely room for improvement. Breakfast is good just like any other hotel.

We had an issue with the toilet wasn’t working as soon as we received the room means it was not checked prior to giving us the room. Hotel rectified by offering an upgrade which we appreciated. Also the restaurants in the facility are not great can definitely be improved.

Big room, beautiful property

Lobster dinner was overpriced and disappointing in terms of food and service. Breakfasts and dinners for the half board were very average.

The location, complimentary non-motorized water activities with kids, good selection of different world cuisine for dinner, spare sun beds and lounges anytime during the day, calm, quite, peaceful. The staff at reception was exceptionally was friendly and supportive. Thanks a lot for birthday cake and organisation.

The cleaning of room and restaurants (main & beach) need to be improved definitely. Water activities manager himself was generally not polite enough to people and their questions. But all the rest of water activities staff was very nice and patient. I had high expectation for kids club but the staff and activities were disappointing. You get very nice quality champaigne free at breakfast but you need to pay for beverages even for water during dinner and also you need to fill your water bottles everytime rather than receiving by housekeeping daily.

Stunning location. Prestine rooms and cleanliness was amazing. Great facilities. Option to be in a lounge room for early check in.

Il y a beaucoup d’activités, comprises et disponible.

Chambre « supérieure » loin de la plage et des parties communes. Notre chambre était sale avec miettes et taches brunes sur le tapis et macarons de bienvenue à moitié dévorés par des fourmis( depuis combien de temps ?). De plus chambre pas aérée qui sent le renfermé, de même que la literie que nous n’avons pas trouvée confortable et qui sentait l’humidité. Nous avons demandé de changer de chambre, ils n’ont pas voulu nous rétrograder dans une chambre plus confortable même si nous étions d’accord de payer plus pour une moins grande chambre. Pour comparer nous avons fait quatre jours la semaine d’avant à l’hôtel d’à côté, le Hilton qui est largement supérieur c’est un vrai hôtel, cinq étoiles. De plus, à 15h chambre toujours pas nettoyée, ils ont oublié de faire le ménage dans notre chambre pendant le séjour, nous avons dû demander de faire le ménage. Séjour vraiment décevant.

La comida y bebida muy buenas, la piscina, que siempre había hamacas y camas para tomar el sol libres no hay el ingés de turno que lo ocupa todo, el personal era muy atento. Las raquetas de tenis que te dejan son buenas y bastante nuevas. El gimnasio esta bastante bien y en especial hay un encargado calvo que asesora y te ayuda, se nota que sabe lo que hace. Los jardines son muy bonitos.

Me hubiese gustado que limpiasen el suelo de la habitación de vez en cuando. En la suite familiar el vestidor era bastante justo para guardar la ropa. La playa del hotel correcta, pero en la isla hay de mucho más bonitas. De noche falta iluminación en los jardines. Comparado con hoteles del caribe me falto un poco de animación. Que siempre hay que pagar las bebidas con tarjeta de crédito, no las puedes cargar en la habitación.

We stayed here with our two kids (a 5-month-old baby and a 3-year-old), and it honestly exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic Prestige Family Suite with two separate bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a really spacious balcony, which made a huge difference when traveling with kids. The food was very good and really varied, so we always had plenty of options, even with picky eaters. The hotel has two pools: one just for adults (nice and quiet) and a large one where kids are welcome, which worked perfectly for us. The location is amazing, right on the beach, so everything felt very easy and relaxing. Overall, we had a great time and everything felt well thought out.

There’s honestly not much to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be that even though we had half board, water at dinner was not included and had to be paid. It felt a bit strange, especially since in the morning you could even have sparkling wine for free. It might make more sense to include water at dinner instead.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Das Hotel hat alles was man braucht. Man wird total nett empfangen und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fanden den Beach-Service Mitarbeiter Rishi am freundlichsten. Er hat uns immer so nett am Strand bedient. Vielen Dank an der Stelle. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das einzige, wo man etwas bemängeln kann wäre das Buffet. Die Auswahl ist top und die Gestaltung des Buffets ebenso. Ich persönlich hätte es etwas besser gefunden, wenn es die Produkte nicht so oft gewechselt werden, manches gab es am ersten Tag und dann nie wieder oder nur jeden 2. Tag. Ist nur eine klitzekleine Anmerkung

beach was amazing, and almost in front of the room. room was good, we were on the ground floor so we could walk straight from the room to the beach. bed was very comfortable staff were polite

food choices for lunch were mediocre at best, also very limited buffet was limited. booking the a la carte restaurant was almost painful, we had to ask day on day, were then advised to come back on the Sunday, when we returned on the Sunday we tried to book the Japanese it was fully booked for the time we wanted.

Le buffet n’est pas de qualité incroyable. A 21h certains desserts sont déjà manquants. A 12h25 on frappe à la chambre pour la libérer.

Die Zimmer befinden sich in einem wunderschönen Garten, wo den ganzen Tag Vögel zwitschern, superschön. Sehr sauberer Strand und Anlage, ich fand auch die Live-Musik am Abend toll. Zimmer sehr geräumig, zweimal am Tag werden Handtücher gewechselt, insgesamt ist das Personal im ganzen Haus sehr freundlich.

Uns hat es insgesamt wirklich sehr gut gefallen, daher sind es aus unserer Sicht nur wenige Kleinigkeiten, die verbessert werden könnten.

Superbe endroit ; un personnel souriant (qui pourrait cependant parfois être plus efficace encore) mais avec de la souplesse. Plage incroyable

Family suit - newly renovated, with 2 full bathrooms. Walkable resort - you don't need a buggy to go about the resort. Food and drinks - some of the best food and wine we have had in an exotic island ever, even the buffet was amazing and we never needed to explore other restaurants in the resort because the buffet was thematic every evening. Sea - water was pristine Activities - plenty of activities for kids. Entertainment - very nice evening program at the beach bar. Mosquitos - guess what? There were no mosquitos!

Spa - to be fully honest, I did not enjoy the spa. The people working there were not the kindest and didn't feel like they are very professional. I booked one foot massage if felt like the masseuse is doing me a favor (judging by her face and manners). I also had my hair done for a special event - same - one of the hairdressers was seemingly in a bad mood, they had no hair spray. Just overall - SPA not at the same level as the rest of the resort. Beach/Sand - the sand is not very fine but that's not the resort's fault.

Großer Balkon mit Blick auf die schöne Gartenanlage Täglich wechselndes Themenbuffet mit großer Auswahl an leckeren Speisen Großzügige Poolanlage - es gab immer Platz auf den Liegen oder Sonnenbetten im Schatten - auch am Strand Das Personal im gesamten Hotel war äußerst freundlich. Wir können das Sofitel nur empfehlen

The water for the room was paid for, the towels were unclean, the shower smelled bad from the drain, the cleaning staff opened the door while you were inside, and the breakfast was not varied. Our towels were taken during cleaning.

Overall , sofitel is a big nice resort with spacious rooms for families. The breakfast buffet was good and well assisted. (I love animals, but those who don't would not like seeing cats walking around breakfast area and jumping on chairs and table) We enjoyed the pool area and beach bar for sunset. The boat house was very helpful and my son could enjoy windsurfing.

We spend 5 days at the resort and impossible to get a massage. They said they were fully booked. Our room was at the far end. With a baby it was not so easy to walk quite a distance. After diner I asked for a buggy, but it took so long to arrive so I walked with the baby. We also asked for a reservation at the Japanese restaurant on our first night, but once we arrived, no reservation was made for us. Since they had vacancy, they accepted us. On a bad note, the server kept rushing asking us what we wanted to order and kept asking us if we finished our plate (which he could clearly see the plate was still full). So we felt rushed and not welcomed for diner. For a big resort , during the day is quite noisy. Since I am travelling with a baby , nap time in the room was difficult as noise of grass cutting and blowers outside was so loud. (I also got stung by a yellow wasp while walking in the garden with my baby on our way to breakfast)

Le petit déjeuner a baissé en qualité ( nous étions venus il y a 2 ans). Chambre 201 sans vraie vue océan et un horrible bruit de moteur de hotte en continu. Heureusement, les employés ont accepté notre de demande de changer de chambre.

Very bad service, non qualified team with intern alone at the reception. Used tissue in the room on arrival, no communication between the reception and the restaurant (reservation confirmed for lobster evening by the reception with paper proof without letting us in for 2 hours because our names and room numbers weren’t in the list…) Service at Breakfast and dinner buffet is very mediocre

Nice location to watch the sunset, hotel staff was overall very friendly.

Breakfast wasn't great, very little variety for the extremely high price we paid for one night. Shower was clogged and they couldn't fix it, we had to shower quickly to avoid flooding the bathroom. Our mattress had a strange stench to it, I would expect a lot better for a 5-star hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.

Sehr schöner Strand. Aber Achtung, es gibt Tide. Nicht alle Angebote (SUP, Schnorcheln) sind immer verfügbar, man muss flexibel bleiben. Das Essen war hervorragend! Das gilt sowohl für das Frühstück, das Abend-Buffet als auch für den Hummer-Abend am Strand.

Zimmerservice war wechselhaft. Manchmal wurden keine Handtücher gebracht oder gebrauchte Gläser nicht ersetzt. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten, im Vergleich zu dem insgesamt sehr guten Service.

The breakfast area and food itself was amazing. Staff was kind.

I didnt like that people were coming from the beach to sell stuff, i think security who is already roaming around, shouldnt allow them. I payed a lot of money to be there, having a peace of mind. Also, there was a renovation happening, my room was RIGHT next to the site, they didnt move me when i asked them, and i was only informed during check in, which is already too late for me to cancel my reservation. Also at this time, prices should have been lower, at least !!

Le petit déjeuner pour un 5 étoiles il manque de l’avocat , des œufs brouillés , du fromage de chèvre ou frais. Du fromage blanc ou skyr 0% manque de choix en lait végétal Service parfois très long au petit déjeuner pour les boissons

Tutto bellissimo, colazioni e cene eccezionali spiaggia stupenda

Immaginavo la barriera corallina molto più vicina , non raggiungibile con pinne e maschera

Revamp the entertainment a little

Super schöne Anlage direkt am Meer. Genügend Platz und Liegestühle am Strand sowie am Pool vorhanden um den Tag entspannt zu geniessen. Gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Jeden Abend gab es neues zu entdecken.

Zum Teil „reservierte“ Tische von Angestellten für ihre Gäste im Buffetrestaurant damit diese die schönsten Plätze erhalten.

المكان لا بأس به ، ولكنه يحتاج للكثير من التصاميم التي تساعد النزلاء للتنقل براحة اكثر ، اخص بذلك من هم على كرسي متحرك او عربات الأطفال

Very nice modern and big rooms, large garden and beach space, beautiful spa and gym facilities. Pool great for small kids with a big shallow area, beach is very clean and also a big space for playing in the sand. Staff super friendly, especially with children.

While we were staying there was some construction and tree felling, which was a bit loud during the day. Daily room cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. Overall minor issues though, we would definitely come back.
