Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport

Manager was professional trying to find us alternatives to the noisy rooms and was understanding when we had to leave without staying. Ruined trip :(

Do not book 2 bedroom suites! We checked several units, all have extremely loud and vibrating HVAC units in the rooms that can be heard in all the rooms.

We didn’t eat breakfast

The shuttle hours are not clear prior booking. The ac unit in the room was noisy. Everything was clean. It was an ok stay.

Price - location - comfortable bed

Dirty hot tub

Proximity to airport and sky train

Coffe or light breakfast not included with basic stay

Large comfortable rooms. Bed was comfortable. Good toiletries. Fridge, safe and coffee maker in the room. Unfortunately, only supplied with 2 coffee pods so I had to request more at reception. Nice gym, small pool.

Restaurant. No vegetarian choices. Heavy breakfasts. Only percolated coffee.

room

nothing

The shuttle driver, reception and night manager were all very helpful. Our initial room had a noisy ac unit and they moved us to a much nicer room, no question. We misplaced a peice of luggage and the night manager helped my track it down at 4 in the morning. They also arranged a special shuttle ride to the south terminal for our early flight out. Friendly, helpful staff.

Some of the finishes, like laminate flooring, are cheap. The air conditioning unit in our initial room was in need of a tune up. Also that unit looked right out to the street and parking lot at ground level.

The location is very central. Since I booked for four nights, they waived my parking fees.

The hotel is very old and lacks renovation. It looks like it have not been upscale for a while. A/C in room was so noisy and hardly sleep well. Coffee pots replenishment never again after first day setup.

Nice place, expensive.

Connivence locations

We book a two room hotel for 5, but it should only fit for 3 person the small room cannot be slept in there the A/c was loud and no walk way

Mooie ruime kamers, goede bedden en vriendelijk personeel.

The location was in walking distance to the sky train

The room was small and no view

Good location and good breakfast buffet.

I had suffered about a half dozen bed bug bites by the morning.

The hotel was near the airport (10 mins away by car) making it easier to travel back and forth. It was ok for one night stay.

Very noisy and old AC.

Chambre ok , Nanette ok

Airport shuttle

It was a good location for airport, shopping malls, restaurants, grocery stores, and transportation.

Sofa bed wasn’t too comfortable may need new mattress.

Sehr freundlches Personal

Falsche Angaben zu Bettgroessen/ double bed fuer 1 person, alte und schlechte ausstattung, ziemlich enttäuschend

Close to airport Restaurant right on premises.

N/A

The lobby is beautiful and location is fine. The bed was comfortable and unit was clean.

The hallways are dirty with frayed carpet and very rundown. The unit needs an upgrade - cracked tile, old sofa, dated trim and appliances. The lobby is misleading because it looks like a nice hotel.

The front desk staff and the cleaning lady was super nice. Good service for towels and just good helpful staff.

Not anything really.

The smell in the lobby was amazing. The desk staff is top notch. The pool was clean.

Staff was friendly

Room was dirty and muggy. Felt humid and moist and sticky.

Property was nice and the two people at the front desk were really nice but the driver that takes you to the airport has no problem driving a 75-year-old woman to the wrong airline drop off then tell her she has to get back to the other place by yourself, but she didn’t even know where it was and didn’t care and just drove away. Was not impressed. That was the whole reason why I chose that hotel but I felt the staff very cold and not accommodating

The shuttle bus driver he is very rude and has no respect for elderly people and doesn’t give a care if you have to struggle with their luggage and walk miles because he dropped them off in the wrong place

The property is larger than we realized and made up of multiple towers. We liked the restaurant and liquor store downstairs and convenience of restaurants close by. Shuttle service to the airport was also convenient

They were nice enough to get us in earlier to a unit but it was very dated and run down. It didn’t have a washer dryer as listed when we booked, the bathroom smelled like BO, and we were in a farther unit than the rest of our group. We were able to go to visit other friends who were also staying in the same hotel but different tower and they were much nicer and met the expectations. I’d just say make sure you are in the newer towers if possible.

Good location

The front office says they hv shuttle bus to airport but when u ask they say its full cant accomdate

The bald guy in front desk is very rude night shift on 4th august

Room size

Breakfast offering was poor

Convenience

The bathroom fixtures should be upgraded.

Lits confortables

La douche très petite

Bed and pillows.

Swimming Pool! Too small and dirty and it reeks of chlorine!

Go location

All good

It was definitely comfortable, the room was a great size. And since we had my son's big dog with us for a few hours, the flooring was great for him since it was not carpet. Great room!

Distance from the amenities was a bit of a problem for my husband and his mobility issues. The pool and hot tub were in two very different areas, even buildings. The only real bad thing was the back parking lot. I took a fall in a pothole in the parking lot and have broken two metatarsals in my foot. I didn't realize it was broken until 12 days later. Please check over by the sewer drain, I think there was broken asphalt by it. It was really dark so I didn't see. .

The location was very close proximity to everything to everywhere we went. They were able to give us a discount on parking because we stayed for extra days.

Humid, dirty, noisy , not well maintained

Room was a good size and clean. The free shuttle bus to and from the airport was very handy and easy to find.

Arrived very late 1am front desk was very friendly and helpful. Room was not as expected but they adjusted price to satisfy us.

Room was not as advertised which was a courtyard view we were in a room that was streetside with no view due to frosted glass 75% up.

Location

The portable aircon in the room. There should be separate installed aircon instead of portable.

Good location near the airport. They operate a Shuttle from and to the airport which is handy. Love the ‘Free Bird Table & Bar’ restaurant offering great casual atmosphere for dinner, snack or breakfast.

the room was not cleaned properly. The fridge has left over drinks from last guest. We reserved room with 3 people, but only two sets towels were provided. We requested another set of towel, and remove the drink from last guest, no one showed up to deliver the towel or take out the drink. The room is quite outdated. The fridge and ac are noisy.

Location and price was great.

Very busy lobby. Depending on the time takes a while for staff to check in or out. Airport shuttle was would at times leave earlier than the specified time without you, having to wait until the next round.

Lots of great perks with this hotel: airport shuttle, amazing breakfast at the on-site restaurant, option of the junior suite with 2 double beds + pull-out couch + small kitchenette, indoor pool - and most importantly, very comfortable beds.

Parts of the hotel are dated, rundown, and not being maintained or cleaned to a high standard - for example, pool area tiles / shower were dirty, the bathroom shower in our room needed new grouting / sealant etc.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly.

First room had no fresh air, stuffy. Changed rooms and they held another three nights payment on our card, causing financial strain. Got back at 8pm one night and from not made up, wet towels on the floor. Not a five star experience at all.

Qualité du personnel, beau et bon restaurant

Free laundry- lovely lobby- good location

Lamp was wonky and plugs did not work properly, coffee maker was unplugged - behind the tv so could not get at it. Details need attention

Our suite was very clean and well laid out for a large family! We enjoyed our comfortable stay and we're so grateful for the excellent shuttle service to get us to the airport.

We slept very well. Best sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

The location, rooms, cleanliness, parking accessibility.

There was no option for breakfast as were expecting to have breakfast in the hotel.

Buyer beware…they are not helpful at all. We picked this place because of the shuttle service to the airport, the whole experience was horrible. We wanted to go to the airport and got on the shuttle, we were then told that we had to get off because other people had to get to the airport and we would have to wait a 1/2 hour despite the fact they there were 2 shuttles sitting there. When we wanted to come back to the hotel, we went to the designated spot and as we were approaching, they drove off. I called the hotel to see if they could call them and she told me they will be back in 5 minutes. After 15, I called again. She said they were on their was and it would be 10 minutes. After that, I called again, same response. After an hour and 5 minutes and the same routine, I asked a nearby hotel to take us to theirs and we could walk to our hotel. They did. When I talked to the manager, he argued with me. We then needed airport shuttle at 3am to go to the airport to go home, even though the website says they make arrangements (on their confirmation page), they said they don’t offer it outside of certain hours. When a friend in our group (different room and not on the day before problem) talked to the manager in the morning about the issue that I had the day before, he offered him a monetary compensation. Do not trust a word this place publishes about what is offered.

The hotels location was great, the parkade option eased our worried minds regarding the safety of my truck (key card access & monitored 24 hours). We stayed in the executive tower in a family suite and our stay was very comfortable and we had everything to make our trip very homey complete with a washer & dryer and a full size kitchen with all appliances. I swear the walls were sound proof because our daughters (21 months & 13 years old) got a lil lively and didn’t disrupt our neighbours.

Convenient location for exploring other areas- enjoyed an afternoon in White Rock as well as Steveston. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room. We love this spot!

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The bathroom toilet was very small.

To be honest not much, it was dirty , dated, cold in both decor and temp and not super friendly staff , they tried to offer a complimentary breakfast but we couldn’t stay and we are vegan so not much to eat

They pillows were horribly soft and small, the sheet on one double bed didn’t even fit the entire bed, the floor outside our bathroom was lifting form what looks like to have been a flood, they put us in a ground level accessible room which I’m grateful people have but then I think of people in wheelchairs and that they stay in a. Room like that. Shame on you.

Customer service was excellent! We were in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. Lots of space for the 4 of us and lovely to have the kitchen.

Everything was good but the property and furnishings were a bit worn and dated.

Nothing. Pretty old run down hotel to be honest.

Our room faced an enormous air conditioner. There was stomping and screaming all night. I think even moving of furniture upstairs.

Had a fantastic stay after some long travels and enjoyed penthouse suite overlooking Richmond! Great room and easy trip from YVR!

I was disappointed I waited two hours for a shuttle to come. All other hotels had their hotel names on it so I was looking for Marriott on one but there’s said crewslink on them. They should definitely have there name on the side of the vehicle like other hotels. They told me to get a cab and tell cab to come into hotel to get a voucher. Then they charged me $22 at the hotel and didn’t tell me. They made it seem like they were paying for the cab but in the end charged me anyways.

Shuttle was very efficient Staff were friendly and helpful Room was good value

Location

Amenities

Airport shuttle

Had to Uber at 4 AM for 6 AM flight

Personnel courtois Bien équipé Excellent déjeuner Propre Près de l’aéroport

The rooms are comfortable and spacious

Internet was slaw . Far distance between our room and the front desk. They are two buildings .

Location to airport. Nice bar and food

Big rooms comfortable bed

The hotel is so old. The bathroom is TINY and nasty. The bath faucet (the old clear plastic one) has so much mold trapped behind it. The room smells like decades of cigarette smoke. Doors and handles are like 50 years old. I couldn’t wait to get out of the room and never come back!

Good value for the price. The hotel was quiet, and the cleanliness was acceptable. The shower head in the bathroom was fixed and could not be detached, which was a bit inconvenient. The pool temperature was great. It’s also about a 10-minute walk to the park. Parking was $20 per night including fees. I would like to stay in future.

Great location for public transit access. Good restaurants nearby.

Clean

I prefer carpet in the room, not hardwood floors.

Beds were comfortable and facilities and room spotless.

I didn’t like how the staff who cleans the room woke us up at 9:30 am. We had come in from an international flight and could have used the precious moments of sleep before we caught our next long flight.

Close to the airport

It’s old and dirty

Free airport shuttle was very practical, breakfast very good, a la carte. Very spacious family room.

Rooms in some parts of hotel and pool area are dated. Lobby is nice, but rest of hotel is not up to this level.

The night desk agent, Sandeep, was very helpful and accommodating

Really friendly and helpful staff, special mention here for Daniela, who arranged for us to leave our luggage ahead of us checking in so we could visit Vancouver for the day. The airport shuttle service was extremely useful too: a regular service and made getting to/from the airport extremely easy.

Nothing - it was an ideal base for our last night in Canada.

Location

It felt old and a bit shaky very dark

From the check in to check out F desk staff is very attentive and carefully explained the items that are important for the stay

Miejsce koło parku

Pokój a za oknem pracująca sprężarka

The price was not worth it. Nice clean room etc For what I paid I had a room where it had a bathtub with Walmart shower curtain and the taps were loose in the wall. Who has a bathtub?

the shuttle was very convenient and the driver particularly helpful.

The Air conditioner in the room was inadequate on this particularly warm day. The room is wonderfully big, so it needed additional cooling.

Difficult check in experience. TV remote did not work and batteries were taped to remote so could not adjust them. Also door to my room upon checking in was open and forgot to mention that to front desk as checking in was a difficult process and didn’t get to settle into my room until 2200. Shuttle service to and from airport is a plus though.

Not a great one. We saw some small cockroaches in room and the sheet were smelling bad. The plumbing and toilets were outdated and need maintenance.

Amazingly helpful staff, the breakfast if you choose for it to be included was great value it was proper cafe style breakfast not continental (the avocado toast and fruit salad was fantastic)

The luggage trollies didn’t work properly each one had a wheel not quite working properly and it was hard to roll luggage across the carpet so getting suitcases to the rooms was a bit of a challenge.

Staff were lovely and offered assistance with luggage storage when I left Vancouver for a few days which was an amazing help!

Airport Shuttle

Old room, unclean bathroom, No internet connection with TV, pretty noisy AC

It was very nice.. the staff was great. The rooms were clean and gadgets everything we needed.

The couch bed mattress wasn't very comfortable.

The staff were attentive and nice.

Nothing.

Beware the picture son the website are only “Executive” rooms. I booked a courtyard room that had a view of a parking lot and was in a different building…VERY outdated, extremely loud and when I finally got there after a long delayed flight the fire alarm was going off which delayed my minimal sleep even more. Plus their “every 15min” shuttle u actually have to request an appt w the front desk in order to get it. I don’t normally leave reviews like this but after multiple fails on their end I was OVER IT! Complete waste of $$$
