Proximity to sites and great reception staff. They were all excellent, professional and personable. They were also extremely thoughtful. The hotel is also close to some good local restaurants. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

The male bar member of staff- grumpy & brusque! The hotel is quite dated - especially rooms/bathrooms and for the price we expected a little better.

Die Lage war super, zu Fuß in 5 Minuten am Bahnhof und in 15 Minuten bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch die Bushaltestelle ist gleich ums Eck, wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, es könnte jedoch etwas mehr frisches Obst angeboten werden.

The breakfast serving time and its spread were simple and good. The restuarant was well managed and it was big enough for the morning peak hours. We chose this hotel for its quiet location but close to the train and bus station if you are planning for excursions outside of Florence.

If you have an early excursion, it would be best that you bring your own box/flask to grab some breakfast on the go. We stayed for 4 nights but was given only free bottles of water on the first day.

Location, walking distance to all the tourist sites. Breakfast had a good variety and staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry Mart just next door if staying long and need to laundry. Stayed in room with upgrade bathroom.

WIFI never worked in the room but worked in corridor and throughout the building. Front desk staff was helpful to sort that out.

Camera mal messa e vecchia, bagno non coerente assolutamente con un 4 stelle, doccia vecchia, scomoda e piccola. Affaccio sul parcheggio interno. Ho chiesto 2 spremute a colazione e mi hanno detto che avrei dovuto pagare extra 10 euro. Dopo aver aspettato un quarto d’ora la cameriera si è degnata di dirmi che a causa della lunga attesa mi avrebbero offerto loro le spremute. La spremuta ormai è parte della colazione ovunque, in un 4 stelle dove pago per una notte 170 euro mi aspetto una spremuta a colazione. Inoltre ho assaggiato l’uovo strapazzato che era acquoso è assolutamente privo di ogni sapore. Caffè anche pessimo. Il parcheggio dell’hotel costa 30 euro per una giornata cosa assurda poiché solitamente è un servizio dell’hotel e comunque va avvisato il cliente in anticipo, non una volta aver parcheggiato e scaricato l’auto. Solo il ragazzo in turno della reception al check out è stato molto cordiale, unica nota positiva lui.

Hemos disfrutado de una estancia maravillosa en el corazón de Florencia. El Grande Hotel Adriatico está fantásticamente ubicado, a un corto paseo de los principales monumentos y muy cerca de la estación, lo que facilita muchísimo la llegada y los desplazamientos. Las habitaciones son amplias, impecables y con camas comodísimas que te hacen descansar de maravilla tras patear la ciudad. Además, el desayuno es muy completo y el personal destaca por su amabilidad y profesionalidad. Sin duda un acierto absoluto y un lugar para repetir. Lo recomiendo.

Electric kettle placed near a malfunctioning socket with loose panelling so had to use a different one - no big deal. Housekeeping comes in around late lunchtime. One bedside lamp kept switching off unexpectedly.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν εξαιρετική και όλα ήταν πραγματικά άψογα. Η εξυπηρέτηση στη reception ήταν άμεση και ευγενική, ενώ το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο και πολύ προσεγμένο. Το κρεβάτι ήταν ιδιαίτερα άνετο και η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου εξαιρετική. Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο, ποιοτικό και με μεγάλη ποικιλία, ενώ το προσωπικό στον χώρο του μπουφέ ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Συνολικά, η σχέση ποιότητας και τιμής είναι εξαιρετική και θεωρώ ότι το ξενοδοχείο αποτελεί μια πολύ καλή επιλογή. Θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά με χαρά!

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very elegant and upscale, and the room itself is nicely designed. However, the room was quite small and not very functional, and the pillows were uncomfortable.

The breakfast was decent, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price. The room was quite noisy at night, the towel rack was not working properly, and the electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work. From my point of view, the quality and condition of the accommodations did not justify the cost.

What can I say only if I could give this hotel more then 5 stars I would 😊 this is such a lovely hotel, the location was perfect, the room was spotless, the breakfast was delish especially the crispy bacon. The staff are so friendly and helpful and will go above and beyond but there is one staff member in particular I would like to say a special thank you too. Massimo on reception, not only done our room up so romantic for our 20th wedding anniversary he also gave us a bottle of Processo and as we where checking out at 5am to catch a train he arranged and breakfast bag for us both to bring with us. This is really going above and beyond so thank you so much. We had a fantastic stay in Florence and if we ever return we will defo be returning to this hotel.

The boarded up theater across the street covered in graffiti. It’s a horrible look and attracts further problems. I know it’s not the hotel’s property but I’d consider working with the owner to mitigate the post apocalypse vibes.

La télévision n’avait pas d’application Netflix et pas de chaînes en français Dans la présentation de l’hôtel il n’est pas precisé que le parking est payant! Du coup lorsque nous sommes arrivés la réceptionniste nous a informer des 30€/jour et je trouve que c’était cher pour les 3 nuit ( à savoir que j’ai priorise le stationnement à une piscine). Je trouve que l’hôtel est cher pour ce que c’est quand même

We arrived very late. The gentleman working that night was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was very nice and clean. We had a nice view of the rooftops and mountains. Great location within easy walk to most areas. Breakfast was very nice and it was included in the price which was a very nice perk. We had chocolate and wine with our special. We did lose power one morning which threw everything off but they quickly fixed everything and it didn’t happen the rest of our stay. It was very hot while we visited and it always felt so lovely when we walked into the hotel. Excellent air conditioning!

Great location, not far from the train station (except gps sent us in the wrong direction). There is a Carrefour small supermarket on the way if you need to stock up on anything. Not bad prices. Check in was easy friendly, helpful staff. We arrived early no problem storing our luggage securely. Great breakfast both hot buffet and continental, very pleasant staff in the breakfast room. Good size room. Easy walking to all the sites, nice walking down via the Arno River to the Uffizi and Duomo. Very happy with the hotel and would highly recommend staying there.

Me and my friend came to spend 1 night in Florence and we which an amazing hotel located in downtown. The staff are amazing and whenever I call I need something, they bring on spot . The location is super great , our room was clean, I liked it while it was not on view their breakfast was incredible and they let us to do late check out . The vibes of the hotel was wonderful, definitely I will come back again !!!

Siamo i clienti ormai storici di questo Hotel di alto livello di servizi d'accoglienza. Lo staff molto professionale e gentile. Tutto ben pensato e organizzato in miglior modo. La posizione è eccellente. Le camere di generose dimensioni, silenziose e pulite, nella nostra stanza il bagno era nuovo. Ristorante Opera offre la colazione ricca e buona, ed a cena, anche se non propone ampia scelta del menù, però si mangia bene, e il cameriere Nicolò è gentile, preparato e parla diverse lingue. Vorrei ricordare anche la prima governante Elena, che è molto professionale, gentile, empatica.

Al Check in magari la prossima volta più attenzione al cliente, che con la figlia che non si sentiva bene, tre- quanto volte deve chiedere se pronta la camera e ogni volta agente reception "deve andare a controllare". Dovrebbe essere inventato qualche altro modo di assegnazione delle camere.

Our travel agent who does all the bookings for the UGA Italy Study Abroad program suggested this hotel. We were so pleased because it is a beautiful boutique hotel very close to the SM Novella train station and within walking distance to the heart of Florence city center. When we arrived in the room, we had a personalized welcome letter, thanking us for having booked through Delta vacations, robes, and discounts for the spa. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. Right outside the hotel on Saturday morning there was anRight outside the hotel on Saturday there was an open air market, which was fun for shopping for souvenirs. Also, right next to the hotel, is a laundromat, which was convenient during our five day stay here. The breakfast (included with our room) was stocked with so many options. They even made vegan croissants and cappuccinos just for us. I was especially impressed with the hostesses in the restaurant who became friends who gave me suggestions for where I could go for day trips as well as where to buy hypoallergenic laundry detergent. They were so kind and hospitable that I felt like I was leaving my family the day we checked out. There is a fitness area, spa services, a restaurant, and meeting rooms as part of the hotel. You cannot go wrong with this hotel for the service, excellent breakfast, large rooms, modern bathroom, and exceptional service. Although the nearby train station is known for pickpockets, we had no trouble and felt very safe walking around even at night.

The coffee was great, the croissants were fantastic, and there was a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, including yogurt, breads, eggs, cold cuts, sausages, fruit, and everything else you need to start the day. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. On one morning, we needed to leave early for some shopping, and the staff thoughtfully packed a takeaway breakfast for us. On another day, my wife woke up late, and one of the ladies kindly offered to prepare a breakfast tray for her to enjoy in our room. These small but thoughtful gestures made us feel genuinely cared for. The breakfast staff went above and beyond throughout our stay and deserve special recognition. The rooms were outdated, the sink it the bathroom was clogged, the electricty went out at 7pm and didnt come back on until 8am the next day. I called about the sink and they send that they would send one to fix it. Which didn't happen, electricity was only off for over 13 hrs and the front desk didnt offer any type of discount or extra amenities and the breakfast was basic due to the electricity but still they could have started services at 8am. I asked if they had a generator for emergencies.

I have rated this hotel before, for another stay. I like the hotel and I would consider going back to it. The location is great. A block away from the river, for nice walks in the evening. Also 10-20 min walks from anything you want to see in Florence. The staff were just great. They made an effort to provide good service. The restaurant/food was good. They even "boxed" us a breakfast for our departure, as it was way early (4 am), before the restaurant opened.

To use the gym, you need to book it. that said, I didnt even think of using it, as Florence kept us busy.

The gym has a "booking" policy. Basically, you need to book the gym if you want to book it. It is just an inconvenience, that is all. But then, with all the walking we did in Florence, never once thought about using the gym. The hotel does not have a pool nor a sauna, but to be honest, never thought of it, being in Florence and with all the wonderful things the city has to offer

Avendo scelto di usufruire del parcheggio privato dell'hotel (costo 30 euro al giorno) all'arrivo mi è stato chiesto di lasciare alla reception le chiavi dell'auto nel caso improbabile che ci fosse stato bisogno di spostarla. Io non ero dell'idea di lasciarle, ma mi hanno convinto assicurandomi che in caso di necessità sarei stato contattato per spostarla io stesso.. Il giorno dopo invece ho trovato l'auto spostata di posto senza che nessuno mi avesse detto nulla, ne prima di farlo ne dopo averlo fatto. Inoltre essendo con la mia compagna avevamo scelto una camera Romantic vedendo nelle foto e leggendo nella descrizione un allestimento composto da vari elementi tra cui una bottiglia di bollicine ecc per rendere l'atmosfera, ma purtroppo abbiamo trovato solo una rosa e nient'altro, per cui è stata una delusione anche avendo pagato di più la camera. Le foto sul sito non rispecchiano il servizio offerto La colazione purtroppo è molto sbilanciata verso lo stile UK/Internazionale, la colazione Italiana è poco assortita
