The location took me HOURS to find!! The Satnav struggled & the signposting is non existent. This needs to be addressed and perhaps mention DL as a landmark to make it easier for your guests to find.The rooms are cold & dirty with gaps under the room door - not good with stained manky, dirty, smelly carpets

Room clean and all facilities necessary for a one night stay. Evening meal good, breakfast ok but could have been warmer.

Quite noisy at 5am, room (6) next to corridor where dirty laundry stored - assume laundry collected at 5 am, noisy trolleys. I did request a quiet room on booking. Also very difficult to find - post code does not get you to the hotel. Directions need to be given to follow a sign post for David Lloyd Leisure when your sat nav gets you to the post code

The location was in a very quiet place which made me enjoy my stay.

The heating in my room didn't work despite trying several times. I wasn't in my room for long, so I didn't raise it with a member of staff.

A sad, tired property - very much 1970's. The delightful single employee was receptionist, barman, cook and waiter. Bar restaurant had zero atmosphere. Motel rooms dingy.

Staff were lovely helpful and knowledgeable Rooms were clean..Breakfast was good and reasonably priced

Stairwell landing and stairs needed power washing and painting also the foliage in the grounds needed cutting back to give the place a more light and airy feel.. unfortunately the location is terrible no decent restaurants/ pubs nearby..signage needs improving from the main rd and at the hotel

O alojamento deixa bastante a desejar: sujidade e desconforto térmico geral, más condições dos espaços com muitos barulhos associados - impossível descansar confortavelmente. Longe de tudo, é preciso muita sorte para se conseguir um Uber/Bolt ou outro serviço (muitos rejeitavam após perceber a localização). Limpeza dos quartos, falta de cuidado geral com a manutenção (teias de aranha, materiais degradados), a limpeza do quarto não era feita e, quando realizada, deixaram-nos a porta aberta o dia inteiro e não trocaram as toalhas que deixamos no chão para o efeito.

Cleanliness of rooms was terrible. Flys and moths. Carpets terribly worn. Outside areas paint flaking away. It was like stepping back into the 80s. Not impressed at all. Sorry ibis but you must redo the rooms competely. This is beyond patching up.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. From the moment we entered the room, we were disappointed by its condition. The bed sheet had what appeared to be washed-out blood stains, the mattress topper was heavily yellowed and looked unhygienic, and the carpet was dirty with several red and white stains. In addition, we did not feel comfortable during our stay because there were frequent visitors to the room next door, and the situation gave us the impression that prostitution was taking place. This significantly affected our sense of safety and comfort. Overall, the cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel were far below our expectations. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it. And by the way I tell them at the day we arrived what we see…it is a shame !!! We booked an other hotel and cancels our stay at this hotel…never ever again and never women alone !!!!No one night we want to be there ( two womens)

We had issues with the people in the room next door, I believe the hotel staff eventually kicked them out, but it impacted our stay significantly.

The hotel was not what I expected it’s definitely a more motel rather than a hotel. Building is split, rooms are the other side of the car park and reception/cafe is the other side of the car park . To get to breakfast / reception you need to cross back over the car park, not ideal when you’ve got kids and it’s cold, not a problem right now as it’s currently warm outside, also one of the bedside lights didn’t have a bulb in it so we couldn’t use the lights. The room was very dark. There was also a large stain on the carpet near the bathroom. The toilet didn’t flush properly. We also ran very low on toilet paper towards the end of the night and reception being the other side of the car park. We didn’t want to leave our rooms and walk across the road across the car park just to get toilet paper in the middle of the night in pyjamas when it’s cold, there is no phone in the room to call reception (there should be as rooms are the other side of the car park) the shower was nice. The bed / pillows was not very comfortable. There was a desk fan in the room that didn’t help much in this heat. Feel over charged and got less for our money

The hotel is more geared to business users rather than private needs. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly, food prices are reasonable even if the menu is a bit limited.

First room we were given had major staining on carpet in several areas. Then when went use sink in bathroom it was "blocked". Went back to reception and was given another room. However same issue with carpet in the room. So carpet needs changing in both of those rooms.

For emergency accommodation for the night it was good value for money... The room, beding & towels were fresh & clean though the room did smell a little musty, when we entered it. The carpet was very tired & had cleaning stains on it but was clean, walked around bear foot without a problem. Has a kettle, tea & coffee & a walk mounted TV. The bed was very comfortable & we slept well. 1 pillow each but there were more pillows in the wardrobe if needed. Large bath towels, good shower & body wash. We had breakfast in our booking. The food was fresh & hot, continental breakfast also, fresh juice & coffee etc. Staff were helpful & cheerful. Reminded me of an American Motel, as the reception & breakfast area is separate from the accommodation. Too be honest I'm I would stay here again if I was in Coventry.

It's a great place to stay, rooms very good for price, great that the rooms on the back face on to a gated area, so I like coming here when I am in the area with my grand child and dog. Staff are usually lovely, polite and very helpful.

It was great to have had a bit of a update in last few years and I like that the gates on entrance are up and usually set to closed as makes you feel safe. But the gate was open all during the day into the night this time so didn't feel as safe as you do need to turn a blind eye to what goes on in a few of the rooms but they do seem to allocate you rooms away from this very obvious activity

Reception / breakfast area was lovely. Staff were absolutely amazing. Man checking us in was super lovely as well as being efficient and informative. Lady on reception in morning was really helpful and also whizzing round helping with breakfast. Breakfast was good. Beds were super comfortable and shower was great.

We had a family room which was located in the eves of the hotel; based up near the staff areas. Wife and child described it as; a bit creepy! The decor was a little tired, no extractor in bathroom so bit of mould observed and looked like bleach had been spilled on the carpet in little patches. Skylight windows had heaps of cobwebs in the mechanism - which for a spider phobe would be concerning.

The staff. The hotel was welcoming whereas others in the area were not. There was a problem with ID and the hotel went out of their way to solve our problem - something that 5 other hotels in the area didn't. Nothing was too much trouble and our check in was near midnight! Thank you to the person on reception who took the booking that night. Life saver.

The location of the hotel is perfect surrounded by trees and wildlife which helped to hide the sound traffic, being able to pack right outside the room was great and the staff where very welcoming and very professional,

There's only two things that I didn't like that was the pillows were way to soft and I had to use all 4 to get comfortable ,the lighting in the room could be better by having a central light in the ceiling and a better design of bedside lights

Stayed 1 night with daughter. Twin Room. Staff incredibly friendly and happy to help /advise. Room was clean. Beds clean & comfortable. Facilities fine. TV has basic channels, but to be fair, we don't really watch alot of tv, so it wasnt an issue. Slept really well. Spare pillows in room available. Heater worked perfectly and shower was hot /powerful. We ate in the restaurant/lounge area in the evening - limited menu, but what we had was well cooked and tasted fine. Considering it is a budget hotel, we found it more than sufficed and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Personal preference, but after a long journey a mug would be preferable in the room rather than a small cup, but honestly we didn't have anything to complain about!

I had one of the nicest staff members from a hotel. She noted I was nervous as a solo traveller and told me exactly how to contact her should I have any concerns. She made me a delicious dinner, told me how to traverse the local area and was overall kind. The cleaning staff did a great job, the parking was very convienient and the location was perfect for work.

The bathroom could have had a few more towels. (But I have very long hair so this is more a me thing)

Great location, decent food and great breakfast. Staff were friendly, and the place is very clean. Motel style night not suit everyone but it was fine for me- there's plenty of parking and it feels secure, and it was good value for money!
