Breakfast choices were very good and tasty Bar service and reception very good as was dinner service and pool services Easy to find hotel and easy to park This is our second time staying and would stay again.

Recently refurbished bathrooms - lovely location

The facilities were good, food lovely, bed very comfortable & loved the pool & jacuzzi. Staff were excellent, every member of staff we had any contact with were extremely polite, professional, hard working & nothing was too much trouble. Also loved the 12md check out. You don’t get that in many hotels.

Found some for the prices sooo expensive, got 2 drinks from the selection by reception on our way out, for our journey home & it cost us £7.50 for a lucazade & a 250ml orange juice!, extortionate! Also Don’t agree with the £5 but marking you have to pay!

The guy who checked me in on Friday evening was the best, unfortunately I can't remember his name. He was very nice, smiling. He is a very good listener very professional and accomodative.

Staff were not knowledgable about products. Food was below par. Introduced a car parking charge since last year. Trouble in the restaurant/bar area which involved a police presence.

Breakfast was great so much choice, and friendly staff .The swimming pool, steam room, and jacuzzi, were wonderful, plus very clean. Graham was a great host for the area so kind. Parking was fine.

Fire alarm at 12 o'clock at night was a bit of a shock, and no staff attended our floor to say if was a real fire!!. My room did have a large cobweb over my bed, but the spider and i become friends. The dinning room was terrible for evening dinner, over priced, little choice, and worst of all inedible, plus the staff didn't care less. The main manager did reduce our bill when complained at the end of our stay. We did not eat there again.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. I genuinely love Marriott hotels, and this one definitely did not disappoint! The room was spotlessly clean, fresh-smelling and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the room was lovely and quiet at night, which made it easy to get a really good night’s sleep. The leisure facilities were also very clean, pleasant and well maintained, and it was a lovely place to relax after a long day.

The only thing that disappointed me slightly was the breakfast. I’m quite a connoisseur when it comes to hotel breakfasts, and compared with other Marriott hotels, I found the selection here quite limited. Some of the hot items were unfortunately cold, there wasn’t much choice when it came to sweet options, and some of the food tasted a little artificial. On the positive side, the fresh fruit was very good and the juices were also really nice — although there wasn’t a huge selection. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The cleanliness, comfort and peaceful atmosphere definitely made this a great stay, and this is still another Marriott that lived up to our expectations.

Good bedroom, clean,fairly spacious

Breakfast was poor,everything was cold, even the fresh fried eggs that were brought out after I mentioned they had run out were cold, all other food items were cold. Nothing had been refilled, only one person trying to stay on top if everything. No prevention of non blue badge holders using disabled parking spaces. The reception staff must have known whose vehicles they were if they were staying. Even the promise to put notices on the cars not undertaken. Need to paint disabled signs on floor and find those abusing.

The swimming pool was great and Graham was so welcoming, parking for disabled was great. Breakfast plenty of choice and food was always hot, nice staff.

Food dinner was very poor, plus over priced. The fire alarm going off at midnight, and no staff, telling us if was real or not. was appalling, plus very dangerous. If there had been a fire the outcome would have been catastrophic, as no one left there rooms. I had a cobweb over my bed, i did see if house keeping would ever remove it, but the spider lives on.

It was perfectly located for what we wanted, the staff were excellent and very friendly. The pool etc were a welcome added bonus. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean

The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly (the button was quite stiff and you had to press it twice to flush properly) the hairdryer in the room didn’t work properly (you had to keep your button on the button for full power). The sauna didn’t seem to be working and the hairdryers in women’s changing room didn’t work. The staff in the lounge were great but the food was awful, especially for those prices.

It said it had aircon, it did not and the room was very warm. Staff brought up a fan.

Dinner and friendly, helpful service.

The staff on the desk (and at spa) were friendly and efficient. The room was well designed with a nice bay window seat. There were simple but useful touches such as heated bathroom mirror, position of kettle/drinks and USB outputs integrated into the bed lights. Additional spaces to be in with friends or family outside the room. Despite being in a business park it didn't feel that way, with plenty of greenery and a decent walk near the river could be found just 5 minutes away.

The swimming pool was full of families and was definitely a 'fun splash' pool, not for swiming - so I didn't go in. However, the friendly lady said it is good at 7am if you want an early session. Didn't have food so can't comment on that. Not sound proof rooms but luckily it was fairly quiet when we were there. I have a feeling if there had been an event such as a wedding reception, then areas to chill and sound levels would have felt very different. Being charged £50 deposit during your first interaction does not feel good and with no drinks in the room I can only assume they are expecting a percentage of people to cause damage.

Well maintained and very clean. Located a little farther from the city but a very peaceful and pleasant area. Rooms are very spacious and they have a nice pool. Lots of parking spots available.

Clean, comfortable and functional. Had a very pleasant stay with nothing to dislike about the hotel itself.

Odd that we were charged for the car park when we checked in as guests. The couple we were meeting there, who were not staying, asked a staff member about registering the car for the car park. They were told to log their reg in on the screen and they would get 24 hours free parking.

Staff friendly

Firstly I got put on first floor with no stairs and I had my 6 month baby with us so was a nightmare getting to the room and out of room. The first night the air conditioning was broken and changed our room. We got a cot in this room and the first one we didn’t. The room was really small. The second room was larger but there was ants crawling all over table. We got some complimentary drink tickets and when we went to use the bar was closed.

We both slept so so well… very comfortable and quiet.

The Restaurant isn’t really restaurant vibe. The food is tasty but it’s not somewhere to get dressed up and feel like a “meal out” sort of a place. If you want a sauce it’s given to you in a sachet.. we ordered a bottle of wine on our first night there and the waitress came back and said “we needed a corkscrew to open it”, we said we’d like to drink it with our meal and she went back to get it opened. The bar says it closes at 11pm but you’ll feel like it’s shutting down about 9:30pm as the bar staff starts clearing the candles away even if you’re sat at the table. I thought this was rude, fair enough at 10:30/10:45 but not with an hour and a half of opening hours left and that was a Saturday night with a fair amount of people still there. Friday night we were asked for last orders at 10:30! So the bar staff at a bit of a joke and make you feel like you’ve got to go.

Location food was reasonably good but had gone for breakfast just after 9 and everything had been on display too long the bacon was hard scrambled egg was over cooked and sausages were like rubber

Breakfast was particularly good and smoking at the entrance under the canopy and reception smelling of cigarette smoke

Would have preferred a dedicated shower. Bar prices seemed high and they didn't have the ingredients for the cocktails on offer.

Food consumed by those using room service left in corridor for over 24 hours. Terrible food hygiene specifically with the scrambled egg served at breakfast on 17/08/2026…….which had putrefied with a very offensive smell.

The food was not of the standard I would expect from a hotel of this type. Limited selection on the main menu and room service menu. Breakfast should have been monitored and smaller amounts laid out and refreshed when necessary. Good food looked unappetising and was spoilt by being on display too long.

Very clean and modern, air conditioning so nice and a nice overall atmosphere. Will definitely return.

The only complaint I have is at 830am and then again at 10am we were woken up with knocking on the door by the cleaning staff. Before I could wake up get out of bed and answer they had already decided to let themselves in. Extremely annoying and I thought unprofessional. It didn’t ruin the stay but me and my partner found it to be quite annoying.

Location was great for my stay, attended a wedding just ten minutes drive away so was perfect. I forgot to take my swimwear so didn’t make use of the leisure facilities but I’m sure they were great.

We had to change rooms twice to get a room where the air conditioning worked properly. I accept that we were in a heatwave but the reason we went up this hotel was for the air conditioning as I have a heart issue. Staff were helpful but the waiting and changing rooms took a good chunk of our evening.

Didn’t have the breakfast option so can’t comment, but had a lovely swim in the pool and was very impressed with the brilliant customer service of the lovely friendly young man who was working on the pool reception desk! He is a credit to the hotel!

Everything was great. Nice clean rooms, staff were very friendly, pool was a really good size. Breakfast had a great choice.

The only negative was the doors to the rooms close really loudly and we were woken up at 3am in the morning with some party goers coming back.

I was charged £5 for parking. I didn't even use the parking lot. When I challenged it, I was told well, that's what we do. Each person has to pay £5 for parking whether they park there or not. Now, that's a little off putting

Rooms freezing at night. Duvets ar super thin might as well have left it. Had to request an extra blanket as there was non in the room and the blanket was also useless thin. Lady few rooms from me asked for a heater and a blanket.

Restaurant - Food was mediocre and the service was diisorganised with our food taking a full tour of the restaurant and bar before the staff worked out which of the few guests it was for.. Beer was served without glasses and no ice provided when a room temperature bottle of water was dumped on the table. Would not eat there again. Sauna was turned off 20 minutes before closing which was disappointing.

I really like everything. Mostly the desk staff , they were very helpful. We had some issues in the beginning, but they sorted out everything straight away. The room is very good, spacious, and clean. The whole hotel was a nice, fresh smell.

The breakfast was okay. Had to wait for a lot of things so the rest of my food was a little cold. The hash browns were extremely crispy and broke into pieces when I cut them.

De kamer was ruim, het grote bed lag goed en veel ruimte in de badkamer om je spullen weg te leggen. Het zwembad met bubbelbad was ook een fijne bijkomstigheid. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het ontbijt was niet erg uitgebreid, bij ons zat het ontbijt bij de prijs inbegrepen maar om hier extra voor te betalen dat zou ik niet aanraden.

Good location (on an industrial estate so need a car if you want to go out and about). Gym was good Staff were all brilliant, by far the best asset of hotel.

No air con in my room, just blowing around hot air (yes it was 36 degrees so I didn’t complain) they offered a room move and a fan. Breakfast was very sub standard - like canteen food.

Limited access to the pool. Closed at 8pm. Swimming school in the morning until 12 noon, large group of children, part divided for hotel guests but very noisy. Twin bed room. One bed had a dip in the middle, we had to turn the mattress over. Telephone to call down to reception not working.

One we had parked our car we were greeted with an overflowing bin. The reception staff were ok and informed us we had to pay for overnight parking (complained and we got it for free). The room we were allocated sempt to be OK as rooms go until my wife fell off the toilet seat as it was loose and was not secured to the toilet. We explained this to reception and they kindly changed rooms. The room we were allocated was room 123, nice room but dirty, we did bring this to the reception staffs attention. We went across the road to Miller and Carter for some food which was great. The carpark big was still overflowing and scruffy for a 4star hotel. The morning breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. We did get a partial refund, that's not the point 4star should be nice clean and well maintained.

The hotel was very good and the staff were excellent.

The room next to ours had guests in it that were making a lot of noise late in the night so I went to reception and the duty manager went to ask them to be quite. They were still noisy through the night. But the staff did their best.

Food wasn’t good and very overpriced. I think 10% would be more usual amount as a tip if warranted. The staff were very straight faced with minimal interaction. But if this is a company service charge, and not a shared tip, then you can understand why!

Breakfast! Breakfast time was chaotic with not enough food and queues when some food did arrive. It almost seemed like the hotel did not prepare or cater for the no of guests they had for breakfast meanwhile the day before they were pushing breakfast options to guests checking in.
