A staff member refused to accept currency from Northern Ireland stating it was not legal tender. This is factually incorrect. I find it incredible that this issue still exists today. The last time I experienced it was in Glasgow back in the year 1993. Unbelievable as NI currency is accepted in most all other businesses within the United Kingdom, of which Northern Ireland is of course part of. Extremely disappointing and of course ruined our evening. I WOULD APPRECIATE A FORMAL RESPONSE TO THIS MATTER PLEASE. THANK YOU.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The rooms were very comfortable and had a sofa and table which was ideal for using my laptop, with power sockets in all the usual and convenient places. The bathroom was clean and bright with everything needed to make the stay comfortable. The hotel was rather quiet, and the staff pleasant and helpful.
The price was too high for the fact it's surrounded by car infrastructure and nothing for people to actually do. The breakfast was incredibly basic and very inconsistent on what it offered, with no staff present to answer questions - which would have been useful as allergy information or dietary suitability was not present on any signage. The air con was difficult to control, my dial was installed the wrong way around so initially I could only have it "on" or "off" using the card electricity switch. Eventually I fixed it, but the pervasive air conditioning system made the hotel exceptionally dry. There was also not enough storage for clothes or other items, with only a tiny clothing rail and a few shelf like surfaces.

Noise from Air con, breakfast was chaotic, with the amount of people wanting to sit down it would have been better for the tables to be cleaned as soon as possible, the tables were very messy not staffs fault it was how customers had left their tables without any thought for other people, was disappointed that some people staying at the hotel felt that it was ok to put large amounts of croissants into a carrier bag and unfortunately then other people did not have the chance to have one, the food itself was cooked well.

Car park busy at night being next to another hotel. Minimally furnished room, there was no fridge (at least that could be found easily) but wasn't a real issue in my case.

Air con was rubbish although we did manage to get two fans but with 3 people in a small room it was a bit uncomfortable and on our second morning the lift wasn't working so had to lug out bags down 3 flights of stairs and when we went for breakfast neither of the coffee machines were working. Our party weren't too keen on the small , side plates we had to use for a full breakfast either

Paying extra for parking is cheeky. Twin room beds were solid so had to put cover from one bed on the other one as a base. The quality of breakfast wasn’t as good as previous visits.

They were really helpful with our check in and my medication storage needs. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were happy to help especially when we had issues with parking as it was a busy weekend. Thanks for having us we will be choosing this hotel again!

Mir ist aufgefallen, das jeder zum Frühstück von außen reinkommen kann, es wurde nicht kontrolliert ob man im Hotel wohnt oder nicht.
