The room was very good nice and clean good facilities. The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good, very good selection of food laid out and nicely cooked. I would give them a gold star for that.

I find it hard to find faults I would say that the teas and coffee didn't have a lot of taste and may be worth having a couple more little tubs of milk. I was requested to pay an additional cost to park my car, I did say to member of staff who was on the reception desk that on booking the room the site started that taxs and charges were included in the price and when we stayed there last year were not charged for parking. The member of staff withdrew the request. Otherwise our stay was brilliant 👏.

The only thing was the hot food option containers, the lids didn’t stay open so it was awkward as your plate had to be put on the side and you had to hold open the lid with one hand and take the food out with the other which when trying to do beans was a bit messy

Absolutely loved staying there - budget option but have a bit of a feel of 4 star hotel: spacios enough, clean, moderd, descent choice of breakfast. We stayed on our way to Alton towers, probably do the same next year. Really liked that the coffee from lobby could be taken any time (though tea/coffee facislities were in the room as well). Pub next door.

Perhaps some breakfast items could be improved - cucembers/salad added, eggs better looking etc.

My only one single fault was the shower. Pressure was low on it and the controls broke off, easy fixed myself but that’s literally the only issue. Not issue enough to alert anyone though

Expected noise as dual carriageway was close but it wasn't a problem. Like to sleep with open window but couldn't. Breakfast was good but I missed tomatoes and orange juice

They charge 5 pounds per night if you are parking a car outside. There also aren't many parking spaces so don't leave it too late to park up.

We like the fact that we don’t have to get up early to have breakfast, the kitchenette in the room enables us to us to eat a light breakfast before we go out for the day. The room is modern and of a good size, good shower room. Amazingly comfortable bed with king size mattress. Lovely friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Really impressed with the quality at a very affordable price point. Would definitely recommend and this would be our principal choice of hotel when visiting our relatives in Burton on Trent.

Can’t think of anything that would improve our stay at this hotel.

Breakfast let it down. Choices weren’t replaced quickly . No child cereal although they had Gluten free etc which was good. Bread wasn’t replenished while we were there or continental pieces

I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the Ibis Styles , smart , well maintained decor throughout- friendly staff , excellent bathroom and room with more than you would expect from a 3 star hotel- didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that.I had everything I needed , would recommend.

Hotel was lovely and modern. Very clean and in a good location with restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately the shower drained extremely slowly and therefore had to keep turning the water off to prevent flooding. There was also nowhere to get extra coffee sachets from so only had 4 over the 4 nights stay.

Me and my partner have been here twice now always around June time for download festival. The location is not far from the festival. The staff at the hotel well I can’t highly thank them enough they were so helpful for the whole of our stay. Anything that we needed they were there. If anyone needs a place to stay for the festival this is the place to go to. But always book early! We have already booked for next year. Thank you ibis styles burton upon Trent for a fantastic stay once again!.

Good location near a number food / shopping options, and about 30 mins from Donnington. Nice room with comfortable bed. Included buffet breakfast was fine but not the biggest of selections/choice. EV chargers in the car park is a nice bonus after a long drive to save having to charge elsewhere. Will likely return in the future.

Larger Hot food selection at the breakfast would be nice, car parking not free, and was added to total when checking in.

Lovely modern hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely big window that made it nice and bright. The bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Booked a superior room, but we asked to change to a lower floor because we had a dog, given room 007. Not so happy, mattress was uncomfortable, stains on carpet. Was good for access, but not a superior room. Won't ask to change next time.

The hotel facilities were excellent. Looked very new. Shower was powerful & great to use. Bed was comfy and view from 3rd floor was amazing. Car park charge was reasonable but we could've parked at the pub next door for free! Didn't eat or drink there but the bar area looked lovely. Lift was large and spacious. Couldn't fault it at all. Will definitely stay again.

Lots of parking , greeted by friendly staff member, Hotel nice and clean and tidy , room was nice, clean and tidy. Decorated nicely with everything we needed.

Liked everything but if anything I would have liked to have had, would be a fridge in the room.

Breakfast was good apart from bacon, it was like leather. Room was good.

The bed had a mattress protector on and the sheet just kept coming off the bed.

Parking was charged at £5 per day, seemed a bit like it could've been included in the cost. Room windows don't open so needed air con on all night (there was a weather heatwave during stay). Breakfast foods should be covered with trays.
