We stayed for one week in Capri and chose a hotel with excellent amenities and a great location. By the end of our vacation, we realized that this hotel and its staff had completely exceeded our expectations—we truly felt right at home! A special thank you to Enzo and the concierge team for making our time with you unforgettable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, lovely bright and clean reception. Staff extremely helpful and friendly . Organisation of luggage to and from port excellent.

Breakfast only average and had to pay extra if you wanted bacon, mushrooms, smoked salmon with your eggs!!! Swimming pool could go with a bit of a brighten up and not much room for any more sunbeds, only 8.

Abbiamo avuto un upgrade ad una Junior Suite, la camera è bella, molto spaziosa, il letto molto comodo ed i terrazzi spaziosi, la vista dal primo piano non era delle migliori.

La colazione è scarsa, con una proposta piccola, è da migliorare. La doccia della camera ha un soffitto con evidente perdita d’acqua, da intervenire quanto prima dato che ci sono pezzi di intonaco che cadono.

There is honestly nothing negative I can say about this hotel. The location is very central, the hotel is beautiful, and everything was great during our stay. If I come back to Capri, I wouldn’t even look for another place to stay — I would definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. Extremely well located, close to the funicular and the center of the upper part of Capri. Breathtaking views. Great facilities. The staff were very kind and helpful.

The only disappointing part of our experience was during check-out. The day before, I asked the team about the luggage carrier service to the taxi station and was told there was no need to book it in advance, as it was an immediate service available upon request at check-out. However, the following morning, when we checked out and requested the luggage carrier, we were told we would need to wait around 30 minutes. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait because we had a ferry to catch and had already booked our transportation. As a result, we had to drag our heavy luggage ourselves over the difficult path to the taxi station, which was quite challenging. I hope the team can either provide guests with the correct information in advance or find a way to offer an immediate solution when this service is requested,

This hotel was incredible and the highlight of my entire trip to Italy! (We stayed at 2 places in Rome and also Amalfi. This was superior.) I can’t say enough, but I’ll try. I went with my best friend and sister and the level of service was above and beyond - the kindest, most friendly, generous, professional staff. They truly cared that we’d have the best trip. The location was perfect - just a step outside of the loud and busy area, so you feel at peace/relaxed here, while also still being close to everything. My standard for cleanliness is high and the room + hotel as a whole felt very well kept (so important!). I would come back here in a heartbeat, and I plan to one day. It was the best decision. La Residenza + staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the best memories we’ll hold onto forever. ❤️

Everything about La Residenza Capri was pure perfection. Truly a once in a lifetime holiday for our family. We loved the understated opulence of the foyer and restaurant/bar, as well as the luxury and comfort of the rooms. Enjoyed the perfectly sized pool with stunning views from the sundeck. Grateful to Enzo and his team in the restaurant/bar, who were so attentive and professional. Likewise for the concierge team and housekeeping. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely welcoming. The food and beverages were always enjoyable and well sized servings. And who cannot love a hotel that serves cakes for breakfast!! A+++++ highly recommended

La Residenza is a fantastic hotel— great rooms and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. This is my second stay and it confirmed my initial favorable impression. Paola at the front desk is highly professional and service oriented. She anticipates every need and always inclined to please guests. Linda the manager also very gracious and accommodating and Fabio also terrific and very professional. A definite must stay in Capri! A Personalized Breakfast: Morning breakfast was very good and felt uniquely tailored to us. It was the perfect, delicious start to each day of exploring. The Pool Area: Having the convenience of the beautiful swimming pool right at the hotel was amazing. It provided a perfect, relaxing oasis to unwind after walking around the island. I will definitely be recommending Hotel la Residenza to anyone visiting Capri, and I can't wait to return. It is an absolute gem!

This was absolute perfection and hands down the best accommodation we stayed at in Italy. The ocean-view terrace was breathtaking—just sitting there and relaxing made us so incredibly happy. The interior of the hotel is beautifully neat and spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Every single staff member was genuinely kind and welcoming. As a honeymoon couple, we were touched to receive a wonderful welcome drink! Also, the Gardens of Augustus are just a short walk away, offering spectacular views. While it requires a bit of a walk from the main square, you can easily request a luggage transfer service from the ferry pier to the hotel, which made arriving and leaving completely hassle-free.

Absolutely nothing! It was a flawless and truly magical stay for our honeymoon.

We had a great experience . From the moment they picked us up at our Naples hotel, All went well and As promised by the concierge staff. Through the stay, every recommended restaurant or activity was right on the mark. Fabio was outstanding and the all staff was just polite and friendly and helpful. Will ba back ASAP!!

Morning breakfast service was slow on multiple occasions. Our room didn’t feel as clean as it could have been. It was dusty and we found several spider webs in the corners of the room. Patio was also dirty. Our toilet was constantly running water and the noise was annoying. My wife had over 100 bug bites during our stay. We did a biopsy and confirmed they could have been some type of mite.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel and the great service. The location is amazing and the personel helped us with recommendations and fulfilled all the additional requests we had. Pulizia impeccabile e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Le camere sono spaziose, moderne e molto confortevoli. Un plauso allo staff della reception per la gentilezza e disponibilità, in particolare a Ignacio, sempre professionale, attento e pronto ad aiutare.

La colazione è stata l’unico aspetto un po’ deludente del soggiorno. Il servizio è sembrato poco organizzato: in due giorni, quattro camerieri diversi ci hanno chiesto più volte il numero di camera durante la colazione. Il buffet è limitato e, pur essendo piacevole il piccolo vassoio servito al tavolo, non è chiaro se sia possibile riordinare. Alcuni extra risultano costosi rispetto alla qualità: 12€ per un toast prosciutto e formaggio servito freddo ( fatto notare ma come conta freddo ) e 15€ per una centrifuga ananas e zenzeroin cui lo zenzero richiesto era assente. La colazione ha potenziale, ma andrebbe migliorata sia nell’offerta sia nell’organizzazione.

Room was very nicely furnished and modern, as was the rest of the hotel, especially compared to a lot of the more traditional and dated hotels in Capri. The service was excellent, even before we arrived. The bed was very comfy and views beautiful. Layout of the room was perfect , including a lovely balcony

The breakfast options was very sweet, and focused on cakes, croissants and jams. A more savory hot breakfast included in the price of bed and breakfast would have been much more preferential.

Wonderful hotel located in a convenient central location, with attentive staff willing to provide recommendations and make further reservations on request. We arrived to a staff member ready to collect our bags (for a fee). Fabrizio in particular stood out to us as exceptional staff member and was incredibly helpful during our stay, alongside the other staff members. We relaxed on the sun loungers with a view shortly after arriving, there were plush ones around the pool as well. We eventually had a drink at the hotel bar on our last night, cannot comment on that food as we didn’t have any. The breakfast was great and if you wanted to order something additional you could for a fee. Overall, this helped to make Capri our favourite place in our 10 day stay (in various locations) along the Amalfi coast.

Die Lage vom Hotel La Residenza ist super und ruhig gelegen. Zentral in Capri, und doch nicht Mitten im Trubel. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und sauber. Das Personal durchwegs freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wieder La Residenza. Es ist zwar teuer - doch Capri ist allgemein eine teure Insel.

Was uns etwas gestört hat ist der teure Kofferservice vom Hafen hoch zum Hotel. Der Transport pro Koffer kostete stolze € 18.-- (wir wurden aber vorgängig darauf hingewiesen) Wegen der Bemerkung, die Koffer sei zu gross zum Transportieren mit dem Schrägaufzug liessen wir uns darauf ein. Bei der Rückreise gingen wir dann mit dem Schräglift. Der Koffer wurde kosten- und kommentarlos transportiert ;-)
