It was a nice hotel but I would not rate, it as 5 star overall. People are nice overall but many things were missing in the room and you had to constantly ask for the same. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good..The hotel is little run down. I had expected much better for the price of around USD 600+ a night..

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt am Strand mit sehr schönen Meerblick. Die renovierten Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Die Restaurants waren super und baten gutes Essen an.

Die Lage am Pool war sehr ärgerlich. Bereits gegen 8 Uhr morgens legten Leute Tücher auf die Liegen um diese zu „reservieren“. Solch ein Verhalten ist unmöglich. Der Pooljunge saß nur da und hatte dies nicht im Blick. So kam es, dass oft kein Platz mehr frei war und wir zum Strand mussten, der aber kostenpflichtig ist.

The immediate local area was a bit average although easy to get around in both directions.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, where every detail make my experience memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive reception staff and a kind concierge. My room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. I was also particularly touched by the thoughtful gestures from the team for my birthday, which made my stay even more special. Thank you to the pool team for their kindness and helpfulness, as well as to the gentleman at the beach bar who even took the time to speak French with me. I also had a fantastic time at the Popa restaurant, enjoying a truly delicious dinner. I would especially like to thank José, Carlos, Angel and Anderson for their professionalism and kindness. The spa was excellent too. I also really appreciated the easy access to the beach. A huge thank you to the whole team for this magnificent stay and for making my birthday so special. I am leaving with wonderful memories and a desire to return!

The hotel is conveniently located, with direct access to the beach and close to the city center (10 minutes by car or bus). Excellent breakfasts with a wide selection of snacks. Nice room with a terrace and sea view.

Unfortunately, the bed was a combination of two single beds and the fittings were poorly secured, creating a split effect that was uncomfortable for the couple.

Nothing at all

Cleaning service was good and not invasive like in other hotels. Breakfast is great and with nice views to the sea. The Buffet is better than A Popa restaurant. Location is great to just go downstairs on the beach, also easy to take the bus to Palma, and just 10 min walk to Joan Miro Foundation. They refill the complimentary water bottles daily. Staff is smiling, nice and attentive.

Room 817 was quite noisy during the night, it’s probably next to some generator or machine that makes constant noise. The SPA is just ok, some facilities are a bit dated. Also, there is no iron in the room, but you can ask the reception and they will send one over for max 2 hrs. There is no place to hang wet swimsuits in the balcony to dry, and people were just putting their things to dry on the balcony edges. These are just a fee things that can be improved, otherwise we had a really comfortable stay.

Pour ma part compte tenu du prix, il n’est pas acceptable de devoir régler un transat sur la plage pour 2 à 120 euros ! Et la chambre vue ville très cher pour Une chambre minuscule. Heureusement que nous avons pu changer facilement la chambre de mon fils …

Beach view, although busy it was a bonus to have easy access to the beach. Restaurant food was good, but we only ate there once. Front of house staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful - including reception, concierge and staff helping with luggage. This team ensured an excellent first impression.

Suggesting a few areas for improvement; 1. review customer experience for pool area esp how you allocate towels and set guests up for a comfortable stay. One member of staff was less helpful and difficult when managing the pool towels. He insisted you only take one towel and did not help with sun loungers, parasols etc. Other 5 star hotels greet guests, hand them towels (with no restrictions) and then guide them to a lounger and help with parasols. 2. Also breakfast staff could benefit with some upskilling on how to engage guests, take orders and if a guest asks for something that should be on the table please get it for them, don’t ask them to get it or point to where it is. 3. This e2e experience in the spa could be improved and optimised. The massage treatment was disappointing and not value for money, it wasn’t a typical massage, it was finger tapping versus a proper relaxing massage. There was no post relaxation either to compliment the treatment which is a missed opportunity. To excel at 5 star customer experience I suggest emulating IKOS or Sani CX standards.

The beach is quite possibly the best aspect of this hotel - it is beautiful. The staff were usually on hand to help - and I want to especially thank Daniela for all the help she gave us throughout our stay. Apologies for all the hassle with cancelling our reservation and all that - I now can confidently say that this hotel was worth staying in. Location was far from the city centre, but a 30 minute bus ride brought us straight to the Cathedral so that was quite nice. Breakfast was really nice as well.

We were told that a parasol or a shade of some sort would be available to us in the room and we discovered, much to our dismay that this was not the case. All in all, though, our room was nice and the overall vibe of the hotel made up for it. What I would comment on, however, is some of the food services. The restaurant/bar on the beach itself (Nixe Beach) did not exceed our expectations - the food especially.

Lovely hotel on a stunning beach. Staff are lovely and very helpful and the food is high quality. Beds are very comfortable and i recommend a sea view room if you can. I am already looking to rebook for august.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist perfekt. Mit Sandstrand und dennoch in Stadtnähe. Wer gerne Palma besucht und dennoch nicht auf das Meer verzichten möchte, ist im Nixe am richtigen Ort. Das Stadtzentrum von Palma ist schnell erreichbar.

Auch im Nixe gibt es leider die mühsamen Gäste, die mit ihren Badetüchern schon früh am Morgen die Liegen besetzen. Es ist nicht fair gegenüber allen anderen Gästen die vielleicht auch eine Liege benutzen möchten.

We are astonished that this hotel has 5 stars. It is located in the middle of a run down town with very little to offer. There wasn’t too much of an atmosphere to the hotel. The staff seemed to show little interest in some of the issues that went on. The rooms were nothing special and seemed like a Premier Inn in size and very expensive. We didn’t believe they were value for money. On the whole, we felt the cleanliness was dealt with round the pool when people were out there. It would seem more sense to have it cleaned the night before. One morning there was vomit around the pool and cigarette butts all over the floor. The noise level was unbearable on a couple of days when a large group descended for a wedding. They crammed the very small pool and were drinking and smoking giving no consideration to others. Management were informed but the bar staff seemed to show little interest. The sun beds around the pool were extremely crammed in which was not acceptable in my view. Smoking was taking place all round the outside spaces of the hotel which I think should be flagged up. The access to the beach was not fully explained before our arrival and was 49 steps down and 49 back. All it mentioned was that access was an issue with no more explanation. The breakfast was very disappointing with warm milk and juices. Some of the staff seemed totally disinterested with the problems and some food was served cold.

The property was beautiful! The place was clean and the staff were lovely!

Die unglaublich schöne Lage direkt am Strand. Dass es am Strand soviele Einheimische hat, ist grossartig und hoffentlich bleibt das immer so!! Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, grosses Kompliment.

Der Preis für das Frühstück EUR 30 pro Person und pro Tag ist doch sehr hoch. Aus diesem Grund haben wir nie im Hotel gefrühstückt.

We regularly stay at Nixe Palace, and this time it was brilliant as always. In this review I’d like to mention the help I received with a lost item. I had a delayed parcel that arrived at the hotel after we had left. I thought it would be a nightmare to organise forwarding it to England, but it was surprisingly straightforward and easy using the system the hotel works with - Forgate by Asven. (I entered my address online, paid the postage and service fee, and UPS collected the parcel directly from the hotel). Although there were some custom-related delays along the way, Forgate dealt with everything promptly and efficiently. As a result the parcel arrived fairly quickly and without any issues. Excellent service throughout.

We had a brilliant time here. We stayed for three night and the hotel was beautiful. The location is itself wasn’t in a lively area which could be good for those who want a relaxing holiday. For those who want more entertainment it’s about 15 mins away from most good places and Ubers were cheap. We paid for breakfast which worked out cheaper to buy for all days and the choice of food was delicious. The pool is small but was perfect for us who just needed an occasional dip when the weather was too hot. Great sunlounfers and free beach towels to use. Good choice of bars and restaurants to visit too. Would go again

Прекрасный отель с очень приветливым персоналом. Во время моего отпуска в отеле праздновали свадьбу, и зал прямо над моей комнатой приводили в порядок поздно вечером, но отель на следующий день извинился и предоставил небольшой подарок. Завтрак не самый разнообразный, но на несколько дней этого вполне хватает. Рядом есть много небольших ресторанчиков для обедов и ужинов. Пляж рядом с отелем общий, но вещи можно оставлять у лежаков на территории отеля, что гораздо безопаснее и удобнее.

Это не касается отеля, но в море было довольно много медуз. Они кусаются, так что стоит быть осторожным. Вай-фай отеля утверждает, что гости могут зарегистрироваться по номеру комнаты, но в итоге всё равно требует почту.

Hervorragende Lage! Tolle Sonnenterrasse. Sehr stilvolle Lobby und Restaurant. Wenn es das Wetter schöner gewesen wäe, hätten wir gerne auch den Strand genutzt.

Frühstück gut, aber leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Für 3 Tage aber vollkommen ok. Zimmer schön, aber leider hatten wir die einzige Jr. Suite, die nicht überdacht war.

We had eaten lunch here a few years ago and loved the location and the food and the staff. It was therefore a ‘no brainer’ to come back to stay. Well we were not disappointed! We were delayed a day for arrival due to a fatality on the road in U.K. to the airport. We managed to rebook for the following day from Bristol as Exeter had no flights until 3 days later. We spoke to reception to let them know and were so impressed when we arrived to find the woman we had spoken to the day before was on reception and she immediately remembered our name. The bell boy who helped with our bags was excellent, insisting that he explain everything in the room to us. So after a traumatic start the day before we had a truly impressive welcome. We chose a street view room which was really comfortable with a pod coffee machine with water provided. The TV has all main U.K. TV channels, the WIFI is very good. The only negative in our room was that we had two single beds put together but one was on wheels which drove my husband mad as he had to find things to wedge under the wheels to stop it moving. We always travel with ear plugs so had no issue with street noise at night but accept we were early/ pre season. The hotel is situated right on the beach with its own access. The bar/ terrace area is lovely with a fabulous view over the bay. The pool area is great too with plenty of loungers for when we were here in April. For breakfast there is a wide choice from the buffet as well as a table service menu for freshly cooked breakfast. The lounge/ bar area is really comfortable and most evenings a live pianist. Every member of staff we met were delightful, charming, professional and always cheerful. We have travelled extensively world wide and have been telling everyone we know that this is probably the most comfortable hotel we have stayed in. Despite the moving bed we still believe this merits top marks. Some reviewers have been negative about the area but to us it is fine. Its like many Spanish coastal areas, it clearly focusses on tourists but there is a bus stop across the road to take you into town, but we were visiting friends do didn’t use it. Plentiful places to eat if you want a change from the hotel and small supermarket a few doors down. Hotel booked us an early morning taxi to the airport and it was already waiting for us 5 minutes before the booked time. Again we were impressed. Would definitely come back, can’t think of a reason not to.

On the plus side, room had obviously been recently refurbished and was good (save for the stain on the sofa).

Very tired overall. Common parts had the ambience of a business park chain hotel with almost no redeeming features. Decoratively very dated. The ‘gym’ was a small windowless room with minimal equipment, no bench / mats, tiny free weight selection (10kg max) - designed to make you want to leave quickly…although when you did, there was no space by the small pool!

Hotel is nice, beach access is great. Rooms are decent. It is a cab ride to downtown for most activities. 3 star rating because we sat at the pool all day with 40 other people in great weather and no pool bar, no beach bar. We had to walk into the hotel reception/lobby (which is very formal) in our swim wear and ask for drinks. And the staff treated us as a burden. Everyone at the pool was dumbfounded that there was no bar open or even a server. It was a real let down

Es gab kein Doppelbett, nur zwei zusammen gestellte Einzelbetten auf Rollen, die sich immer wieder verschoben haben. Klimaanlage konnte nur zentral zum Heizen oder Kühlen eingestellt werden.

The location was good for catching the bus into Palma. The room was fine as was the bathroom. The overall feeling of the place was grandiose.

The parking (which they did have) was spendy and only done with a valet (which we were not used to).
