Parking is £27?! The rooms are still very outdated. A night in premier inn would have better. No hot water out of sink. The shower has very low pressure and bathroom very outdated. Not what you expect from a 5* hotel and especially the prices charged!!!

Very Clean and Tidy, Nice and Spacious, Nicely Decorated, Spacious King Room, Lovely Spacious Shower, Lovely Large Patio with a Beautiful View of Cardiff Bay Docks, Robes, Iron, Kettle, Tea Bags, Cup, Sugar Sachets, Coffee and a Coffee Machine, Plenty of Towels and Toiletries, A Nice Size TV, Good Lighting, Good Air Conditioning and good Plug Sockets for Charging my Phone etc and a Great Breakfast.

I have some Health Conditions and I cannot use Lifts, I can only use Stairs and because the Stairs are within the Entrance of the Hotel Spa I could only stay out until 9:00pm because that’s when the Spa Doors Close after this time and I would not be able to gain access to the Stairs to get to my Room after 9:00pm, so I could not enjoy my outside time for longer which ruined part of the stay for what I paid for.

At breakfast only scrambled egg was available unless you asked- we weren't told that you could ask for fried or poached eggs instead The hotel parking was very expensive- even more than the public car park next to it

Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are superb. Rooms have incredible view.

Lovely hotel and location have stayed 3-4 times now and love it! The spa is lovely the staff are wonderful rooms and views were beautiful.

I understand cost and overheads ect ect but I did feel breakfast was maybe a tad overpriced, we didn’t add this to the trip this time for the above reason. I also felt the car park was extremely expensive, I get it’s for the hotel and views and everything in between but £25-£30 for a night I felt was a lot.

Lovely pool and absolutely delicious food. My therapist was Kanchan (KJ) who was absolutely lovely and the massage was so wonderful and relaxing. She made me feel at ease as it was my first massage and was super friendly. Very happy

Therapist Hema and Bernedetta were wonderful, lovely calming experience, they were thorough explaining all the steps with aftercare advice. Would definitely visit them again.

Marzena was my therapist. Marzena's gentle, relaxing voice coupled with the expertly delivered Marine back scrub and moisturise almost sent me to sleep. I highly recommend this treatment with her and would request Marzena when I return. It is now the day after and I am still relaxed and my skin feels so smooth. Thank you.

Had a lovely Summer Glo package experience. The massage and facial with Hema was really relaxing. It certainly teased out the stress knots in my shoulders. The only disappointment was the choices for the 2 course lunch included. The mains were very basic. Salad, gnocchi or vegan burger. The caesar salad was uninspiring although it did have a nice dressing. I had the vegan burger with fries which was so dry I couldn't finish it. Chickpea and herb patty with cabbage shreds masquerading as slaw with no mayo alternative or anything to help mitigate the dryness.

A very good invigorating spa morning. We started with the treatment first (5 stars for Marzena for a thorough back, shoulders, neck and head massage), followed by use of the pool and sauna (only 4 stars because a bit dated now and limited hydrotherapy options). Lunch is now in the bar/restaurant area but a decent selection on the menu and large portions so you don't leave hungry. Overall a good experience and we'll probably do it again. At £115 pp I think it is worth the money!

My friend bought us a spa/lunch package for my birthday. Thermal experience was ok, but I’m not fussed on all that anyway. My back/neck and head massage was with Beau. She is absolutely amazing. I’ve had quite a few back and shoulder massages and she is by far , the best. Magic Hands! She knew exactly where the knots were and she got them out. Wow!! Definitely book to have her again. Thank you Beau. Xx The relaxation room wasn’t the best. Cold and no relaxing sounds. Then we had a 2 course meal. Mmmm, not great. Tasty but the variety is poor. Main meal was Caesar salad , some other salad and vegan burger! Come on St David’s, you can do better than that.

Got to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in absolutely beautiful,rooms beautiful with balcony over looking the bay,breakfast amazing,staff go above and beyond,I didn’t get chance to use the spa but looks great ,I highly recommend this luxury hotel,

Lovely treatment from therapist Kanchan. She was thorough with my full body massage. Explained the treatment and benefits of it. Would request Kanchan again if I came to St David’s for a spa day. The relaxation room was not great. It was quite cold and unviting.

The staff at the spa were warm and welcoming, my experience here was five stars, the four stars is for the "overall experience" of the spa day. I had an invigorating exfoliating back massage with Kanchan (KJ). It is without a doubt the best massage I have had in the UK. She was clearly very highly skilled and tailored my massage to suit individual needs. I left feeling physically lighter and am already planning when I can return to book in with her again. This was the highlight of the spa day. Having had the morning slot the time after the treatment felt rushed with only an hour between treatment and food we didn't get full use of the facilities. The food wasn't wonderful and the service felt slow. Staff were all polite enough but maybe they were understaffed? I will absolutely be returning to the spa but maybe just for a treatment and not for food included in the spa day "set menu".

No way this is a five star hotel. Old and shabby. Not very comfortable at all. Breakfast was OK, restaurant and bar were not very comfortable. Bedroom was serviceable but the aircon was extremely noisy. No charging point unless you left the light switched on.

In vielen Hotel essen Kinder umsonst beim Abendessen, das wäre noch toll und eine Duche im Badezimmer statt der alten Badewanne wäre toll.

Het uitzicht op de kamer en tijdens het ontbijt was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk personeel, aangename check-in en check-out.

£25 to park for a night is a bit heavy of u staying 2-3 nights it all sums up. Hotel overall was ok definitely need a upgrade for a five star. Room and furniture need renovation. And day staff at the reception could have been more welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous treatment can’t recommend enough!

Amazing experience molly really took good care of me i would highly recommend to anyone feeling any pain in their body parts. I came in with pain with my back and left completely healed. Thank you molly for that experience.

Stayed here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, the room was lovely, and the breakfast offered a great selection of options. We finished our stay with a relaxing morning in the spa, followed by massages from Holly and Marzena. Both treatments were excellent, and Holly and Marzena were professional, friendly, and highly skilled. The massages were the perfect way to end our trip, and we left feeling completely relaxed. We would definitely recommend both the hotel and the spa.

I visited the Spa at St David’s Hotel and had a genuinely wonderful experience. The hydro pool was amazing, and the swimming pool was lovely too. The best part of my visit was the full body massage by KJ. She is incredibly knowledgeable, has truly magical hands, and managed to work out all my knots! I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Thank you so much, KJ! I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing experience. I can’t wait to visit again!

We went for a family spa day and it was honestly just what I needed! We had a full-body treatment, and I had the most amazing massage from Hemma. She was so lovely, incredibly experienced and honestly gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I’d 100% recommend her if you’re looking for a good massage.

Came here for a spa experience as a late birthday treat. Thoroughly enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and sauna, views over the barrage are stunning. Had the most wonderful back massage and facial with Hema who was absolutely fantastic. She is friendly and explained everything that she was doing. Feeling very relaxed now and will definitely return.

Amazing location, great atmosphere, the rooms are so clean. The front of house is so amazing and welcoming. The breakfast staff and food was amazing too. Oh And if you want a real good massage, molly has hand of an angel and the power of a titan. One of the best massages I’ve had in years. Cant wait to go back to this great place.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach umwerfend. Einmal, was die Nähe zu Hafenareal angeht und zum anderen in die Nähe zur eigentliche Innenstadt. Sehr schön gelegene Restaurants runden den sehr guten Aspekt dieses Hotels ab. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und kundenorientiert. Die Parkplatzmöglichkeiten sind ebenso als sehr gut zu beurteilen.

Booked a king room with seaside view and balcony. Cobwebs on the corner between wardrobe and bed. The brochure states smart tv, but it wasn't a smart tv at all. And the tv had a hospitality block that wouldnt let us screencast or even use an HDMI cable. So basically it was of no use.

Phillips the head waiter on Saturday night was superb. All the staff were engaged and helpful.

Really lovely location on Cardiff bay with incredible views. It’s a very spacious, comfortable hotel with very friendly helpful reception staff. We were given a great upgrade to a tiger suite which was amazing!

The spa was a little disappointing. It has a glass wall overlooking the water and wetlands, so it would have been good to be able to lie on sunbeds on the deck by the pool looking at the view. Similarly the restaurant couldn’t let us use their lovely deck with tables by the water for breakfast.
