Very clean rooms, comfy beds and very helpful staff.

Shower was rather weak. Breakfast was not good at all, buffet style. Bacon stood in grease, scrambled eggs were grey underneath and pastries so so dry, day or so old...

Tolles und geräumiges Studio, gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile. Ideal für 2-3 Personen. Schlafcouch für 2 Teenager viel zu klein. Check in unkompliziert, gute Lage zum Hafen und in die Stadt. Kleiner Supermarkt gleich nebenan.

Frühstück für ein 4 Sterne Hotel mehr als spärlich. Nicht einmal ein full breakfast. Keine Tomaten, keine Mushrooms, entweder Speck oder Würstchen. Ei wässerig und ständig musste man um re-fill betteln. Die Kaffeemaschine war kaputt und es gab Päckchen-Kaffee. Dazu 1 Wasserkocher für alle. Zimmerausblick auf einen nicht gerade sauberen Kanal.

Hartelijke ontvangst en een gezamelijk gratis borreltje aan het begin van de avond. Fijn groot appartement. Mooie ligging aan het water van de doks.

Er was een verbogen kraan bij de keuken en een losse gordijnhaak. Wel goed om dat soort dingen bij te houden.

Breakfast was average ! But did the job . I was pleased with the General standards . Parking could be improved.

Limited car parking and parking rules not enforced so late arrivals park outside of marked bays, hot breakfast seems to have been downgraded with fewer choices. Coffee machine broken so instant coffee and shared kettle.

The hotel room was lovely. The bed was comfortable.

I ordered a pizza at the bar. Went for a cigarette while they prepared my order and when I came back, the man said "can I help you?" I had to remind him I'd ordered a pizza. The next morning, when coming down for breakfast, which was included in the price, the only options for the cooked breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and beans. When I asked were there any sausages, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes or fried eggs, the reply was simply, "No, sorry." This was a 4 star hotel that had barely anything on offer for the cooked breakfast. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here.

Property is in a good location, quiet, private and flexible as we stayed in one of the suites with an integrated kitchen. It also has a sea view. Staff were welcoming and it has an overall exceptional dining

The only missing bit is the absence of a swimming pool

Stanza ampia, comoda e pulita, presenza utile di cucinino, dotato di forno e lavastoviglie, letto comodo, bagno spazioso. Posizione particolare, a metà strada tra la Bay e il Centro (raggiungibili entrambi in 10 minuti a piedi), zona tranquilla e poco trafficata.

La colazione, purtroppo non rispecchia le quattro stelle dell’hotel: nonostante l’impegno costante del personale, i posti a sedere con tavolo rischiano di essere limitati nei momenti di punta, purtroppo due mattine su tre la macchina del caffè non funzionava (si poteva comunque ovviare con bollitore e caffè solubile ma ricordo sempre le quattro stelle indicate). Qualità di brioche e marmellate non proprio al top.

Everything impressively clean and modern. Breakfast good, staff coped well with a busy service. Walkable into the city or Cardiff Bay within 20 mins

The location was really good, views outside the hotel was lovely. Friendly staff. Overall it was good stay.

Me parecieron habitaciones muy amplias y muy limpias. El baño inmenso. La terraza con vistas al canal. El desayuno muy bueno también y el personal muy amable.

Wir hatten nur eine Nacht in diesem schönen Hotel und nur 1 Tag in Cardiff. Sehr freundliche und liebevolle und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen. Schönes, ruhiges, sauberes, gut klimatisiertes, gut ausgestattetes, angenehmes und relativ großes Zimmer. Schönes Badezimmer gut eingerichtet. Sehr schöner Eingangsbereich und Frühstücksräumlichkeiten! Schöne grüne walisische Hauptstadt!

- A reggeli szegényes volt, a kávé kifejezetten rossz! (Gépi) - mindenki kiöntötte.. - A falak koszosak, a székek, össze vannak csöpögtetve - A parkoló teljesen tele volt, az utcán kellett parkolnunk, pedig, februárban, jeleztem, hogy szeretnék parkolót foglalni! - Februári emailemre nem válaszoltak egyáltalán! Sok IHG - Holiday Inn szállóban jártunk már, de ez volt a legrosszabb! (Most éppen A Bodmin-iban vagyunk, ami, fanatasztikusan jó, igényes és mindenki kedves! A kutyánkat is várták, még ajándékkal is!)

Central location, close to Red Dragon and Millenium centre. Staff were very attentive, particularly the young gentlemen on the front desk upon arrival (Bailey).

The surrounding area of the hotel looks very tired, vandalism and broken glass everywhere, a real concern regarding younger members of the family.

This hotel would not suit everybody - breakfast was adequate rather than good, and the other food (in Holiday inn next door) was basic. Car park, shared with Holiday Inn, not really big enough. Situated between bay and town centre, both were walkable but not close. One-stop shop next door was the only local facility.

Nadelöhr Aufzug: zu Stosszeiten stehen in jedem Stock wartende Menschen, da der Lift sehr langsam unterwegs ist und innen jede Anzeige defekt war. Insgesamt ok, aber auch preislich eher ein Segment darüber..

A slightly unusal location, not where you would expect to find this hotel but still handy between the city centre and the bay. It adjoins the Holiday Inn Express. The suite itself was excellent - very comfortable and also very clean.

The one disappointment was breakfast - you get either sausages OR bacon depending on the day, and some somewhat poor continental options. The breakfast is actually much better next door in the Holiday Inn Express, which is where I ended up going in the end as I wanted a sausage. I don't understand why this is the case, as the food all comes out the kitchen in any case - they may as well combine the dining room and food offering.

Really nice new purpose built building next to the water

A little bit of a walk from the town centre or Bay Area walk. There was a communication issue between booking.com at the hotel which meant it took 5 days of me going back and forth in phone calls, emails and messaging on the app to amend the dates of my booking which was unnecessarily stressful. I hope they have sorted this out now as I’ve not had problems doing the same thing for other stays elsewhere. I also hate paying extra for parking at hotels!

Good location on outskirts of city with a pleasant walk in. Friendly welcome and good sized room which was extremely clean. Excellent shower room and toiletries provided. Kitchen was well equipped and good breakfast included in the price. Air con a bonus.

We parked ok in car park but this was charged extra which made the overall price a bit more than we would usually pay for an overnight stay.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, had comfy beds and good facilities. Very nice to have a full kitchen in the room. Breakfast included was great. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and managed to change our room to one with a view which was nice.

The room itself was incredible clean and perfectly stocked the bed was amazing.

Breakfast was extremely poor. If it wasnt for this is would of scored 10 and this would be the only thing stopping us returning.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was okay and part of the Holiday Inn next door. Approximate 15 minute walk to the centre of town.

Room was not ready at the designated check-in time of 3pm. Had to wait about 20 minutes to access room and floor was still wet when we did as it had just been mopped. Parking was an additional cost and we were told not to move the car as it was a "first-in" basis and we might lose our spot if we did.

The rooms were clean enough but the cot they provided for our baby wasn’t safe, it had broken in a few places but they still left it in the room for us. TVs worked but no online function (Netflix / Disney etc) despite being ‘smart TV’s. Small inconvenience but surprising given the price of the room

I have spent one night at Staybridge Suites and I will definitely come back. The room (404) is big compared to the British standard, very clean with modern furniture and comfortable bed. Smooth check in , staff is smiling and helpful. Breakfast is adequate.

It was really clean and smelt amazing! The staff were nothing but wonderful. The room was well equipped, clean, smart and tidy. On arrival the gentleman who greeted us at reception was pleasant, helpful and friendly! The morning staff at breakfast were also very helpful! The hotel is a 10 minute walk in to the centre, but still in a quiet spot for a peaceful stay!

The boiling water tap in the communal kitchen was a nightmare to use.

Room lovely, breakfast very disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of baked beans, scrambled eggs and bacon (which was poor quality). Paid nearly £600 for 2 nights and had to pay extra for parking.

The space was good, and comfortable. Outside was a lake/river with amazing scenery, and next to a store.

Very few selections of food, no halal food, and only for breakfast. It should be not just breakfast, but lunch + dinner would make this stay very pleasant and luxurious. The oven and stove are confusing at first, so a instruction manual or paper is preferable..

Our suite was fantastic, had everything that you could need for a self catering stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We particularly loved the air con in the room. We felt very welcomed by the staff and all of the staff that we met were friendly. The location is great, about a 20-25 minute walk to either the bay or the city centre. Parking was a bonus too. Although I think parking should be in the price of the room, £10 a day in Cardiff on an event weekend is very reasonable. There is a little pantry on site where you can buy drinks, food or toiletries which is helpful if you forget anything.

Breakfast was a little limited however it served a purpose. We stayed for a large event in the area and due to this, the cost of the suite was extremely high. Although the suite was great, I'm not so sure that the quality reflected the price. On non event days, I would absolutely agree that the suite is value for money.
