Our only minus point was we were cold in the room and in the dining room on Friday night. We complained to reception and the lady there was charming - explained the hotel was still on air conditioning not heating and gave us some thick dressing gowns to keep warm!

Das Hotel war total dreckig - das Badezimmer hat bereits beim Betreten nach Urin gestunken. Der Zimmerboden war nass auf dem Teppich. Die Straße war im obersten Stockwerk extrem laut zu hören auch nachts. Personal war total unfreundlich und keinen irgendwie begrüßt oder angesprochen. Das WLAN hat nicht funktioniert.

Amazing location alot to do and see. The room was so spacious and very clean. Bathroom was lovely and clean and the reception staff were so lovely and chatty and as I was on my own that really helped me so very much appreciated.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location for Cardiff Bay.

Rooms.are great. Big, spacious. Settee and bed comfortable, really clean , liked you can refill water from.dispenser just down by the lifts. Nive to hve fresh cold water available Great location as 10min walk to the main bay. Nice restaurant also literally right next to it. Miller and Carter, Indian one etc free parking also on site

The price on breakfast ! we initially paid room only but chose to add breakfast in the morning. Although it was good breakfast, definitely way overpriced at £18 each!

We stayed in a suite, the location in the hotel was not the best with a lot of noise from the road. The shower had a curtain over the bath which was not good and the sofa in the lounge area was not comfortable

Very handy location. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Room and bathroom excellent, some thoughtful touches.

The restaurant. Very poor selection of vegan or vegetarian dishes. Last stay we had fish and chips which were very good. This time they were poor.

The room was spacious clean and well equipped, The air con was much appreciated,

Toilet flush in bathroom was not good. Annoyingly subtitles were moving around on the TV screen and we were unable to remove them. We had a meal in the Thomas restaurant but unfortunately the staff weren't at all knowledgeable about gluten free requirements, We were only presented with a folder to sort things out ourselves, I do not expect this from a 4 star hotel.

The staff are very accommodating yet professional.

It would be handy to have some exercise facilities - spa, pool, gym. Also, the rooms could benefit having more cupboards.

Twin rooms have double beds. Great that parking is free. Rooms clean and well equipped

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. There is building work going on nearby but there was free parking (a real bonus). It is about 10-15 minutes from the docks depending on route and speed of walking. The room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities expected (and staff happy to provide extra milk etc). They were considerate about my parking needs,

It is a little way out (hence slightly cheaper) and though it has a huge leisure facility and restaurants nearby, one side of the road was not accessible due to roadworks.

The hotel is in a great location. It was within walking distance of the theatre, cinema, restaurants and train station which was short journey into Cardiff centre. The hotel room was reasonable size with a decent shower room. The food was good and was reasonably priced. The staff were excellent.

The wardrobe was quite small but was okay for a short stay. Some minor faults.

We stay here about 4 times a year and everything is perfect

Very friendly staff , helpful - bar prices are reasonable and there was a nice atmosphere. The room was a good size and had aircon , there are water refill stations on the landings and water decanters in the rooms to use to fill , the rooms have good lighting. Great location 7 mins and we were at mermaid quay. There is a Miller and carter directly opposite with lovely cocktails! Large carpark with free parking they were happy for us to park before check in at 11am which is nice ! Would stay again

Bath was quite slippery be careful

Bed very flat and uncomfortable, fixtures and fittings seemed very dated and a little 90s Butlins-esque (which doesn’t quite fit the Future Inn name) with all the tired wallpaper and dated wooden shelving/cupboards. Climate system in room was very ineffective also

I’m chose to add breakfast upon arrival. It wasn’t pre-bkd then realised I didn’t have time for breakfast due to needing to get to work destination early. Was told I couldn’t cancel it! Bed was uncomfortable but was only for 2 nights. WiFi was terrible!! Could t use for work as too slow and kept disconnecting. Poor quality picture on tv. Overall, wasn’t great for charge.

Everything in the hotel is great. For affordable price, the stay was worth it. Plus the location of the hotel close to the bay is also quite accompdating.

The lighting in the room could be improved, there were no center light in the room I could find that could brighten the entire room, there was only the one desk lamps close to the bed and the one in the dressing table. The bathroom lights were not a problem and was great.

A bit far out from city centre so a good 1.5 mile walk. It's a nice walk but be aware of length. Room a bit noisy from traffic on main road at rush hour. Lots of roaring motorbikes! Otherwise really nice.

The bathroom and air con were very dated and the extractor fan didnt work. The fire alarm went off 4 times through the night and there was no staff communication as to whether it was a false alarm or not. I tried ringing reception and no one answered. Guests were left bewildered in the corridors unsure of what to do next although staff were apologetic as we checked out.

The room sizes were lovely, especially for 1- 2 people per room. Was grateful for the water on the floors lobby so you could get fresh water. Also thought the lobby bar was nice to chill and chat, and the discount for steakhouse was a nice benefit.

My room felt a bit cold at night and was chilly in the morning. My friend opposite to me had the exact opposite of being too hot. He had to sleep above the covers with a fan. Also felt the added £16 minimum for breakfast was too much.

The fire alarm went off intermittently three times during the night starting at 2am. There was no acknowledgement or apology for this from hotel staff and it was extremely disruptive and unsettling and led to a very poor nights sleep.

Two large separate beds in the room, they were comfortable and room was clean. No issues with the room itself really.

Fire alarm intermittently going off at night waking up my 7 month old baby was not what I had in mind for my stay. Being told this was a known problem after checking out and not before! EV chargers are all out of order which was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. Very strong smell of urine through the toilets.

Comfortable and clean. Pleasant to look at.

Fire alarm woke us four times in one night- no compensation offered. It was about 4am. No proactive communication during the alarms or after. It’s hard to navigate to and from as it’s surrounded by roundabouts, tunnels and junctions. It’s in the redeveloped docks and subject to continuous roadworks and construction.

We had requested an accessible room which was on the 4th floor but the lift was temporarily out of order. We waited for about 3 hours (we went out) and then we were able to access our room, the lift having been fixed whille we were out. The hotel looked after our luggage in the interim and compensated us for the inconvenience. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the beds very comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the sensor in one of the other rooms, causing the fire alarm to go off at 3.30am one morning.

We stay here regularly so it’s handy for access to the Bay.

There was a strong smell of urine in the bathroom as soon as we got there. I did let reception know in the morning as we didn’t go to the room until later and I had my young daughter with me. The receptionist just said she would pass it on to housekeeping. We also had a room with 4 people sharing and there weren’t enough pillows and the gap between the sofa bed and headboard was really wide so made it uncomfortable. We usually enjoy our stay here but unfortunately this one was disappointing.

An zwei Tagen ging die Alarmanlage 5x an. Einmal 15-16:30 Uhr und an Folgetag nachts 5x 3:00 Uhr -4:30 Uhr. Keine Info keine Entschuldigung, das Personal hat gelacht als wir aus der 6. Etage runter in die Rezeption gerannt sind. Das Hotel ist nicht sicher. Kein Gast hätte bei einem echten Brand den Alarm für wahr genommen. Eigentlich hätten wir eine Entschuldigung erwartet.

The stay was very good. It was my bday so planned it with my children. The facilities were absolutely amazing. Staff was friendly. Our room was spot on. Spacious, clean, came with many amenities. Overall our stay was very good.

The price of the breakfast was way too much.

Lovely size room, very clean, had everything we needed

Shower didn’t sit right and spayed everywhere but on your body, bath didn’t drain away very well. A small problem but can easily be fixed. Quests shouting in the corridor at 2am, that’s a reflection on the quests not the hotel itself just inconsiderate of people.
