Royal Phuket City Hotel

El Hotel se ha deteriorado y ha disminuido demasiado su calidad. Yo he estado varias veces alojado en años anteriores y era muchísimo mejor. Ya no es un cinco estrellas, es un tres estrellas como mucho.

El desayuno es malísimo, pobre y con escasa variedad de productos. En la piscina no hay toallas grandes, solo te dan unas pequeñas a las cuales ellos le llaman "grandes". El personal de la puerta no tiene la disposición para ayudarte con las maletas y no te abren la puerta al pasar.

Clean, great amenities and facilities, fantastic location.

View is so beautiful with sea and mountain, rooms are so big and comfortable, the staff are so friendly. Location is great, near the old town, have dragon line bus stop on the front door, the breakfast is delicious.

La ubicación es muy buena y el alojamiento es muy lujoso

Personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam, TOP! UItzicht restaurant was prachtig. Shuttle bus stopt voor de deur en brengt je gratis in een tour rond de stad. vlakbij busstation. Kamers waren zeer ruim.

Kamers iets gedateerd qua meubilair.

Location close to the original city centre

Management had an attitude. I could not understand why we paid for the best 'executive' suite in the hotel to be informed breakfast was not included. It's a joke. Place is so dated it felt like we'd being transported back to the 1980's.. really tired with patchy air con and less than happy wi-fi! Felt a bit like a retirement home on a quiet day..

Ottima posizione, vicino alla fermata dei pullman e zona dei mercati/centro.

Excellent location, excellent staff. Very welcoming and very helpful, esp the team led by Ms Nun and her team and Ms Moses. They went above and beyond to provide us the best vacation. I couldn’t vouch more highly for the experience we had because of this property.

Nothing, there is literally nothing short this oroperty offers for the amount it costs. Ofcourse, it doesn’t offer everything fancy but it doesnt charges for that as well.

Location good for the Old Town area. Good value for money when I booked two rooms. Helpful staff. Good gym and pool.

Breakfast wasn’t great in both its location and quality of food. Roof top location should have been great but poorly decorated into a seedy nightclub and dirty windows masked the outlook on city. Couldn’t get shower to be hot enough.

No food served at the swimming pool.

It is the centre of the city. We went only for 12 hours as we had landed around 730 pm. It was good value for money, descent hotel. Good value for money.

Its an old property and needs renovation. We hardly stayed for 12 hours so its not fair to give our feedback based on our stay.

Le hall et les espaces communs sont splendides. Bon emplacement, on peut se rendre dans le Old Town à pied. Il y a aussi une navette gratuite qui fait un arrêt au pied de l'hôtel. Petit-déjeuner très bon. Piscine fabuleuse Nous avions demandé des chambres adjacentes, ce qui n'a pas été respecté mais à l'arrivée nous avons été surclassé sur des chambres communicantes.

Les chambres sont d'un autre âge voir vétustes en comparaison du reste de l'hôtel. Une odeur de renfermé due à l'humidité du pays si on n'actionne pas la climatisation. La salle de bains est vétuste, les joints sont vieux, la propreté n'est pas à la hauteur pour un 5*.

Le côté Thaïlandais un peu ancien

Posizione buona, 10 minuti a piedi da old town, zona ricca di servizi. Buona colazione, palestra stupenda, piscina, personale cortese. Stanze ampie, bar sulla terrazza molto bello e panoramico al 19 piano.

The location is great,gym facility was good,the lobby area spacious,coffee shop good for meetings.

The position of air con vent is directly on the face Toilet a bit smaller in the Premier Deluxe room.

Hele schone kamers, en uitstekende locatie nabij centrum van Phuket city. De airco werkt goed en het uitzicht vanaf de kamer over Phuket was erg mooi.

Kamers zijn redelijk oubollig, een opknapbeurt zou niet verkeerd zijn. Het bed was zeer stevig. Er was geen balkon en de ramen konden niet open, waardoor er nauwelijks luchtcirculatie was.

Hotel was very well located in the city, less than 10 min walk from phuket old town. Many restaurant, bar and market and shop close by. Free shuttle bus stop to go around town at hotel entrance - for those who don't want to walk. Very polite and helpful staff - special mention to Au, Ploy and Poppy and the restaurant servers.

All windows were lock and couldn't even be slightly open to allow some fresh air in the room.

Die Lage und Erreichbarkeit des Hotels zwischen Pier und Flughafen und die Nähe zur historischen Altstadt ist gut.

Das Zimmer auf der 12. Etage war in die Jahre gekommen und nicht entsprechend eines 5 Sterne Hotels, für eine Nacht war es okay.

About ten minutes walk into old town main area but that was ok Very good breakfast baked beans everyday mmmm Room was a good size and good view of mountains

Rooms and spaces present very well and are modern. All staff were friendly and polite, attentive to customer needs. The breakfast buffet and the executive lounge were highlights for us.

Pool could be cleaner.

Super god beliggenhed i Phuket Old Town. Ok poolområde.

Slidt og gammelt hotel med meget dårlig morgenmad. Personalet i receptionen kunne ikke forstå engelsk så svært at kommunikere med dem.

Smooth entry to the hotel and booking in. Rooms where adequate food was ok as was the upstairs bar. Staff always attentive.

The bakery attached was not the best, opened late and not much to offer. Concierge organized a car for us to see the big Budda which had been closed for some weeks so a waste of time.

Overall okay, just because the staff were great.

The stay was pleasant overall, with a great view and an excellent location. However, the amenities were very basic, which was quite unexpected for a hotel with such high ratings. The food was disappointing. We stayed for four nights, and the menu remained almost identical each day, with only minor changes like spaghetti to penne and Hainanese rice to plain boiled rice. The lack of variety was frustrating, and some items were not even replenished—for example, the patongko was never topped up. The reception service was average and could have been more attentive and welcoming.

The hotel was magnificent. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped us to find activities to do in the town. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor was something to behold. I am recommending this hotel to all my friends and family

L’accueil est vraiment très beau

La chambre était sale , des cheveux dans la salle de bain… Tout le reste de l’hôtel est dans son jus… c’est à dire années 70/80…

Gym was excellent

Roof top breakfast facility was very dated and seemed unclean, however omelette station was friendly and well cooked. Rooms were dated and lighting electrical need upgrading, felt unsafe with kight switches difficult to manage locate.

The location is ideal. Very close to the Sunday market without being in it. Great restaurants within walking distance and bus station is close by. Staff are extremely attentive… any issues were addressed immediately (often within minutes).

In the hottest part of the day the pool is in direct sunlight. Not really a negative - it’s just not ideal if you’re prone to sunburn. If you’re an early riser, the pool is perfectly shaded to get an early morning swim and it is a lovely place to soak after a day of exploring and watch the stars.

The staff at the door were very friendly, unlike those at reception.

The room wasnt clean . It's obvious they don't sweep. The door of the bathroom was damaged and made a really loud noise. Also the bathroom was really dirty.
