I didn't like the cleanlines. There were some roaches in the kitchen. The place is old. They started the renovation. Hopefully it will be better by then. There was no Gym available. I guess because of the renovation.s

Carpets were quite old and stained. The pool was closed for renovations. Expensive for what you get.

I like the location so much because facilities like restaurant,grocery shop and etc..are walking distance.

Air Conditioning worked well on HOT HOT HOT summer days and the closeness of the hotel to everything in tow you could walk to.

My bed was so close to the wall I could hardly get out on my side to go to the bathroom. There was room to move it toward the window but not with the lighting and miniature stand that weren't moveable.

This lodge was in a central location of the town and near the lake and roads to view wildlife and scenery in Waterton National Peace Park. Within walking distance to restaurants. The hotel cleanliness was very good but the entrance and parking lot were only mediocre. The restaurant on premises was also only average.

We were tired and needed a place to stay

It was highly overpriced for what we received.

Great location - center of town. My upstairs room was very comfortable.

It took a while to get someone at reception. Once they arrived, quick and easy check in with very accommodating staff. The outside of the “cabins” need some refreshing, but my room was fantastic.

Location- easy to access restaurants and trail heads. Prompt phone call from staff after my son left his wallet in the room after checked out. Oh my gosh! Greatly appreciated- impressive.

On the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, a lot of luggage d/t attending a wedding prior to coming to Waterton

The rooms weren't ready, one had a broken lamp, and the other had a broken bed support with the mattress falling off. Plus, there was some dirt hidden behind the bed.

The lobby was clean and nice. The lodge has multiple buildings and is located centrally in town.

It seems a bit dated and is maybe undergoing renovations. The room was tight but we made due for one night.

We like the area. The rooms was so nice and comfortable.

I would say the rooms are pricey. That would be great if either of this is included ( breakfast or supper ). We expected our rooms with own kitchen ( we saw on booking.com ) but it doesn't have.

Parts of the hotel were undergoing construction, so we didn't have access to the leisure center. I also mentioned about the absence of curtains what made it hard to sleep.

Excellent location for walking to the shops, everything you need is provided, comfy beds, mountain views.

It was right in town and easy walk to lake, restaurants, falls and starts to hikes. The staff was helpful and particularly kind when we needed coffee

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was great-accessible shower. Great restaurant attached to the office. We had 2 meals there, very good. Under construction for updates. Great location.

The room was very well-equipped, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We had everything we needed, and it was one of the most affordable hotels in the area.

The only challenging part was finding where our room was. We were only told to drive behind the main building but weren't told which name to look for, so we had to go back and ask again. Not a big deal though! Also, there are renovations currently going on at the hotel, but that did not interfere with our experience.

Beds!! Very uncomfortable.

The bathroom fitted for disabilities; handles in bathtub, and a hand held shower head. Beds are very comfortable. Fridge to store some groceries. Loved the doe and her new born fawn across from the first room we were in. :) Then we were transferred to the very room where the fawn was sleeping under my window. :) After seeing the deer, I noticed a beautiful rainbow against the mountain. Could use "black out" window coverings - at night there is too much light coming through the slats in the blinds, and difficult to close the drapes, could still see through the openings. Not being given a room for us 2 handicapped persons from the get go... we were transferred to a suitable room though after requesting for one. The restaurant had good food, but it was very cold in there. Lots of construction machinery around for upgrades taking up space in the parking lot, and along the long building. I understand there isn't much place to park all that. But, things should be running more smoothly and look a lot better by end of summer (July they mentioned).

Town is a wonderful place, walked everywhere. It was windy and cold during our stay but still fabulous. Lodge is in the center of town. Comfortable and clean. Nice restaurant on site. The walk to Bertha Falls is a must.

Vinnys restaurant very good. Loved watching the deer from the window.

We were in Lake House which unfortunately had lots of adjacent building works going on. The plus was we didn’t see much work going on so no noise.

Das Kingsize-Bett stand mit einer Seite direkt an der Wand. Man musste also über das Fußende „einsteigen“. Keine Ablagemöglichkeit für ein Buch, Uhr, Telefon. Zusätzlich gab es ein kleines Ameisenproblem, es waren bereits Fallen aufgestellt. Das Zimmer/Gebäude schien etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Great location. Comfy bed. Had spa bath and large shower.

No hot water two nights running so couldn't use spa bath. Sink was blocked. Disturbed twice from 9.15am by housekeeping despite 11am check out. The second time they just walked in without knocking!! Extremely distressing. Carpets were stained. I was given a small refund which did not equate to the inconvenience and upset caused.

Poor coordination of room assignment! Purposeful - not vacancy related. For a week day, still shoulder season/not busy, were in the only room on property with caution tape on patio, 'do not use patio' signage on inside of room patio door. We had maintenance crew workers at our window early in the morning assessing, taking photos and clanging measuring tape around the patio window -- large crack in window held together with packing tape. Also, backed on to a property roofing project with workers, machines, matierials continuously passing by the unit.

My partner left his pillow in the room (not blaming the hotel for this) but when I messaged the hotel twice I had no response and I instead let them know that we would be returning in 4 days to pick it up. Instead of responding we drove back and had to pay the park fee just for them to let us know they never found it. Waste of money and time due to their poor communication

Ants all around and inside the suite..there were ants on floor and even on my bed..They did put anti ants everywhere but there were still ants..I had to clean bed sheets and sweep the floor 3 times before i slept due to ants rest all was good .

The close proximity to the lake.

It was very pricey for a run down ski lodge with no complimentary breakfast and the pool and hot tub were not open.

Buildings were easy to find but Room numbers were hard to find.

No pool and recreation facilities , as advertised, and these facilities have been out of action for the season Bad show

Location is great relative to the townsite.

The shower was FULL of mould. On the floor and the walls, to the point where we didn’t want to use it. The bed was also very, very soft and uncomfortable with only two pillows provided for a king sized bed and no others stored in the room.

The staff was so unprofessional un polite, and has zero sense of customer service.Despite if the frequent request if giving 2 rooms together as we had kids they gave us a room with a hallway in mid. The room was not as per the expectation they gave is shitty shady room, with no room to stand im thi because of the stairs going outside the whole room Does not have proper lights it was so congested and risk for the kids to go in hallway stairs. Amd ee could not enjoyed stYing with freinds. My son has woke up in the e middle of the night cam w crying in another room which was literally far as per the expectation we mentioned thousand tomes but staff was not even listening.I wosh i could hVe booked some other lodge.No proper facilities.

Carol your absolutely the best ambassador for the 4 properties. Our room was comfortable, clean and was great to have the kitchen Can't wait for our next weekend away, in 2026.

The lodge is a series of multi unit cabin structures. You have to hump your luggage to your room from the parking adjacent to your cabin as there are no trolleys or valet service. The door on our unit was saggy and hard to open and close. This was quickly rectified by the desk clerk who had the maintenance person fix it immediately. Our room was clean and comfortable with amenities provided, soaps, etc. Shower and bath was good. Pressure and water volume adequate for a refreshing shower. There was no complimentary breakfast provided.

The whole pool complex was closed and under renovation despite it being listed as an amenity. Dirty grout around bathtub. No breakfast most days because restaurant was closed. Understandable due to late in the fall season, but should be noted online.

The room was fine but the area around our lodge was disturbing- wood piles, construction materials, etc.

The receptionist was very rude, and don’t know how to talk with the customers. The property was decent!

Close to Waterton water front. Seasonal walking distance to restaurants and other Waterton Village attractions.

Electrical outlets need replacing in that heavy usb blocks could sag and disconnect. Otherwise very nice accommodations. Waterton National Park is a total gem and way less crowded than Glacier National Park (and Glacier National Park was all that I hoped for).

We enjoyed the safe and peaceful feeling.

Nice reception, easy to check in, parking is close to my room.

We really enjoyed our stay in Waterton, very cosy rooms with privacy and space to relax, conveniently close to shops and restaurants with parking right outside the lodge. Highly recommend and will return!

It’s was a perfectly fine stay. No real issues. It was off season, and Waterton was quiet and absolutely perfect as a destination. Only thing would have been nice, was if Restaurant would have been opening mornings, as we were unaware it would only open at 5:00pm. Front desk staff wax kind of irrelevant to things. Our building was one of the renovated ones, and room was clean, great, cozy and absolutely perfect. Would stay again, that’s forsure.

Room was clean but needed a bit of TLC. Property around the hotel appeared to be lacking in maintenance.

There were individual buildings with various rooms some upstairs and some directly from outside. Parking was right in front of the buildings. The restaurant was nice.

No amenities to speak of.
