Perfect location

The name is very misleading. There is No spa whatsoever. No pool, no hot tub or gym. We Resort hopped at 5 places from Whitefish to Waterton Lakes. This was the most expensive

Wifi hardware issue meant that it was virtually unusable in our room during the whole stay. We were offered a change of room for the day before leaving, but this would have meant being 'homeless' for 4 hours while waiting for a new room. Very inconvenient as we had plans that required wifi access.

For the amount you pay, very underwhelming facility. Noisy aircon Small bathroom. Toilet is tiny and low! They don't clean your room unless a sign is put up, which is unusual, in comparison to other good hotels/lodges! Even though it says spa, don't be fooled, this is an external spa and only bookable online and times are 10am to 6pm Personally for the amount you pay, I feel the rooms are very AVERAGE at best

De ligging op zich mooi aan het meer en begin van het dorpje. Onze kamer had echter bomen voor het uitzicht.

De airco’s waren erg lawaaiig, ook last van de buren. De wifi was erg traag en viel geregeld uit. Geen ontbijt erbij, dat voor die prijs zeker had gemoeten!

The walls are super thin - the first night I heard a man snoring all night through the adjoining door, and the second night there was a huge party from 1 am - after 4 am next door! We got no sleep!!!

Location, lake view and just on the shore makes it exceptional from all the other places. Shopping and all the convenient stores are 1 minute away from the hotel.

Exterior is run down and could use a re-fresh. Mattress was soft. We couldnt find an outlet to plug in the coffe maker. Expensive for what you get.

The hotel is pretty old, the interior old and not up to date in many ways. For this price, not good enough. The air conditioner (external unit on our and the next door rooms wall) was wicked loud and only in the living room, not in the bedroom, which was not good at all as it was over 30 degrees C that day and the heat in the bedroom was way too much.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, location was great (right in the centre of town and by the lake), and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice to have lake view and very convenient close walk to lake and restaurants. However, Wi-Fi was very spotty, which was annoying. Wi-Fi worked fine in the restaurant, so it feels like they need to invest in more access points. Also, housekeeping was spotty. During high season, this is an expensive property, which makes these lapses annoying.

I had a super nice room second floor facing the water. My room was very quiet and super peaceful stay. Staff was so nice.

Terrible experience- starting with the WiFi not working at all in the room nor the lake facing balcony we paid extra for. If we went outside the room, the WiFi worked fine. I talked to the front desk in person and they said “their WiFi” guy was on site and he would look at it. When we came back from dinner, nothing was improved. After hiking for 8 hours in Waterton park, coming back to a very expensive hotel room wirh no wifi, in a foreign country where mobile service is not as good as the US was extremely frustrating. Worse, when I told them about the issue and they didn’t fix it, and i told them a second time later that night and they did nothing, I felt like they did not care abbot their customers. Upon checkout, I explained how upset I was, again, they offered me nothing. I highly suggest staying somewhere else. Bayshore is overpriced and essentially a 2 floor best western with terrible customer service. I would not stay here again if it was free.

Wifi was nonexistent after early morning. Water pressure is very low. Room dirty false nail on floor dust bunny behind chair . The air conditioner unit was very noisy. And very. Expensive for what you get.

We were a little disappointed that our "Mountain View" room mostly looked out on the roof of the restaurant. However, our room was spacious and nicely appointed. It was also clean and pretty quiet. And the location was great.

Breakfast was excellent although it's a pity you have to go outside to get to the restaurant. Not ideal when the weather is wet.

We stayed in a Lakeside King with an outside deck. We were at the end of the building with windows on two sides which was nice. The inn is an old-style motel in a great location. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The only problem was a very noisy heater-a/c wall unit, but fortunately we did not need it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a good value.

Very friendly staff, nice quiet room near the lake. Comfortable mattress. Nice shower. Guests receive a discount voucher for breakfast, but we ended up eating elsewhere.

Overstuffed pillows were uncomfortable. Room was a bit too hot. Noisier than expected at night.

The staff were nice and helpful. Location wise is great, specially the balcony that overlooks the lake. Good location for hikes, food, and walks through the town.

Not really a negative as we were helped straight away, but it was funny when the shower's handle label were interchanged. (Hot was Cold and vice versa). Some insects found inside but that's already a given with the location.

Older property. Well maintained. Great location for walkability in town. We had room 213 and there was a fairly loud motor noise, suspected A/C unit above our room. Loudest heard in bathroom.

The air conditioner was so loud you couldn't hear the tv. The room was hot without using the air conditioner, it was only 22 outside. It was noisy on the side facing the marina.

They allowed 30 plus corvettes to takeover the parking lot. No oversight from the staff. We paid the same rate as they did but they acted like they owned the place!

This is a very nice hotel, It was clean and close to everything. They had a good restaurant with delicious food.

I think the walls are thin cos we could hear children from neighboring rooms. We will definitely stay again but will ask for a room at the end of the hallway. We could hear children playing in the hallway as they passed our room so staying at the end of the hallway will fix that. Also when people dragged suitcases passed. Once everyone had left and hotel was quiet we enjoyed our stay.

The location is superb with views of Waterton Lake, The facilities are dated but the rooms have been renovated to modern standards. The beds are very comfortable Breakfast was good - a wide range of options

Missing a table lamp on desk. No convenient place to plug coffee maker in. Elevator to second floor would be an advantage. Parking spaces were too narrow for larger vehicle, ie pick up truck . No screen on balcony door or window.

We had a great stay and would happily return. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. Parking was easy and convenient, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Extremely well situated in the little town of Waterton with wild animals roaming free visible from our room.

The location and the cleanliness are about the only things I can say about like ability. The daytime receptionist was very professional and helpful.

No creamer or milk provided and for the price the room cost that would be something simple to provide. The body wash and shampoo smelt like strong lemon scented cleaning products which was not pleasant at all. The rooms have paper thin walls, sadly we had screaming children running up and down the hall and in the room next door. We appreciate this isn’t the hotels fault but again the cost does not reflect the property and stay. You are simply paying to stay in Waterton.

Couldn’t sleep two nights of yelling and partying till 1:30 am.

I liked the location as its the lake shore. Reception was attentive. Parking was right close to room. Room was equipped with tv with wifi. Kids like watching youtube and netflix. Room was having small fridge and a coffee machine. Bathroom was clean and updated with modern facilities.

Need improvement on sound proofing as we were getting noice from guest above our room in middle of night. Room should have microwave as with kids one need to warm up their food.

Clean and comfortable, reasonably priced given the area and travelling with a dog. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and walking trails.

We stay on the first floor and on the morning was such a bad smell of gas on hallways! Also one of the night on the room it’s a rat 🐀! Kids got so scary! We told the staff but they don’t care too much! The lady said “ I will tell the manager” that’s it! And the sheets wast not very good cleaning!

The room was modern and renovated. Our room had a clear view of the lake and the mountain, it was picture perfect.

Location was perfect. In fact since we were coming back to Waterton in a couple of days, we canceled the reservation from another hotel and rebooked at Bayshore.

We appreciated this hotel's location right by the lake and walking path and just right in the heart of the village to shop and eat at the restaurants.

Our view was of the parking lot, and not of the lake. I thought when I had made the reservation that we would have that option. But we were there for only one evening, so it was not really a big deal. It was still a lovely time there.

Tolle Lage, schönes Motel

The room was close to the lake but then most of the hotels are in Waterton. It was clean.

The value gets the lowest score. We’ve paid a lot of money for this room and couldn’t believe how outdated and small it was. We had many other rooms on our trip that were better and for considerable less. We needed an elastic on check-in for something and the girl had to ask the manager. He was very grumpy about it. The manager is rude and not friendly at all.

Bayshore closed down so we ended up staying at their sister hotel Glacier Suites. It was clean, bright, newly renovated, great service and we had an excellent stay. I would recommend it.

The room could have been cleaner. The carpet didn't seem that clean. The building is older and needs some paint and freshing up.

Comfortable stay

Unfortunately the staff gave us incorrect information twice and seemed very uncaring. They told us the boat to Crypt Lake Trail had stopped running, and that changed our plans completely. The boat was still running for three more days. The staff also told us that almost everything was shut down when in fact, it was not. It seems as if they were ready for the season to be over and it actually wasn’t. I’m advising that when giving out information please make sure it is correct and take care of guests until the last day. The trip is special to them despite the time of season.

Mountain view

It was very noisy. The main door to the hallway kept slamming when people entered. The door to my room did not fit the doorframe. When entering the room there were a few flies.

The room is spacious and very clean but the bed is too soft that hurts my back. I recommend a medium firm bed to make it a perfect 5 rate.

Great place to stay in Waterton. The rooms are a good size, staff is friendly, the restaurant and pub that are connected to the hotel are both the best spots in town and there is lots of parking.
