Waterton Glacier Suites

Right in town. Red Rock Trattoria in the hotel was amazing.

Nothing to do with the property per se. But my friend and I had to pay $20 each to buy a Waterton park pass to get to the hotel which is on park property. I’m paying $436 a night. A $20 per person park pass is ridiculous. Shame on you Waterton Park!

It was at the center of town as was every other lodging. Waterton is very small and all accommodations and restaurants were in the town center.

It was pricey for just one night. I booked late so didn’t have a choice. Also the layout was pretty weird. The living room was separated from the bathroom and bedroom with doors so to access the bedroom, you have to go through the bathroom. Didn’t have a closet for our clothes. The couch was sagging too.

The bed was very soft. Likely sank into the top 3 cm. Very nice to sleep in. Not necessarily perfect for everything. Bathroom facilities were very nice. The shower door was solid and easy to use.

It is very difficult to arrange a bathroom perfectly. Having the towels over the toilet is not ideal. It is a good training program for males to close the toilet lid instead of reaching for a towel dripping water.

Dry convenient to the downtown area, walkable. Front desk was super friendly nd very responsive to anything we needed. The unit was spacious and comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice.

Despite having a microwave and a fridge, there were no dishes and no cutlery. We had planned to have cereal and bread for breakfast, but we had to plead with the restaurant for some bowls and spoons.

It is in a great location within Waterton.

It was fairly pricey for what it was. We had the king deluxe and the temperature variations from room to room were pretty wild. It wasn’t a hot day at all but the rooms were quite hot. The AC is only in one of the rooms and struggles to keep the room cool.

Check-in was very easy and staff was friendly. Room and bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable but pillows were too soft. Location was convenient and across from the restaurants and lake area.

Bed was comfortable but pillows were too soft. The high window had no curtains so although the glass doors had curtains, it was too bright in the morning. Wifi was very poor. Lost connection to the room twice or more and I had to use my own data for my ipad. Channel selection was not great with mostly US news or you would have to subscribe to special network. A slight disappointment was when I mentioned that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary and, there was nothing special set-up unless they don't do anything for that special touch. Cost per night was very high for a place with no lift to the second floor and with no amenities.

view from room was not desirable, just looking at parking lot. Also i requested a quiet room but ended up with room 101 immediately next to restaurant and parking lot, so there was a lot of noise

The loft room was very spacious for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the room decor was simple but nice. The bathroom was very spacious & we appreciated having extra basins & a second toilet. Staff were friendly, & helpful. Good parking.

Quite expensive, but seems to be the going rate in Waterton. Rooms have been renovated very nicely, but the outside of the building needs some attention.

We loved our room! It was perfect when we walked in. The staff were warm and helpful. We stayed with our 15-month old, and they enjoyed running around the room, having snacks in our balcony. The hotel provided us with a playpen, which was much more convenient than packing our own for sleeping.

An excellent location near town on a quiet street. Loved the balcony for the mountain view while sipping a Nespresso Espresso! Daily espresso from the Nespresso machine was lovely. Easy to park. Has an attached Italian restaurant. Front desk staff are a delight. Highly recommend this location.

The heating/cooling systems in the rooms are strange to say the least, it was quite hot in the room during our stay in the summer despite having the thermostat turned down to lowest settings. You have to somehow balance AC and heating to reach a normal temperature....

While the main bedroom had air conditioning the main sitting area did not. Our room was very hot on arrival and we were only able to cool the bedroom down.

It was weird. It was dark and a strange layout. No windows could have the curtains left open to see out although the one side was parking lot of cars, the other you side the place to sit to look out had to be the bed. In the evening people could watch us from their dining table in your restaurant and were about 10 feet

The rooms got very hot even with the air conditioning due to the pilot light remaining lit for each of the fireplaces.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, excellent restaurant, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. I really liked that it had 2 bathrooms an upstairs bathroom and one downstairs.

The only thing that I would suggest is to have blinds put on the upper window in the main room and on the small window in the loft area. Otherwise, the place was excellent, and I look forward to staying there again one day.

The rooms was very well kept, very clean and had all the amenities for a weekend getaway. Lots of space, and exactly as the pictures shown. The espresso machine provided makes amazing coffee to enjoy in the balcony with perfect mountain views. Nick at the front desk is very friendly and gave us lots of good recommendations. We tried the trattoria downstairs and the food was quite tasty, the stuff was very attentive and nice.

Everything during our stay was almost perfect. There were no black out blinds in the window facing the bedroom.

Never cleaned our room once, or emptied the bins or change towels.

Room we stayed in had ants coming out from lavatory fittings port hatch. Complained at reception about the presence of ants but been told it’s due to the season but I totally disagree. There must be pest control in place. This is disappointing for me and my wife. I recommend guests to ask reception about presence of insects before checking into their room.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and accomodating, although I didn't catch his name, he also helped me to book another night when my plans changed, the restaurant staff at red rock trattoria were also super accomodating at that point, even though I wasn't dining at the time. The room (without loft) was well spaced out , fireplaces in bedroom and living rooms, with easy access . Easy parking, walkable access to everywhere in Waterton. I dined at the Trattoria for my first night, great service and friendly staff, book in advance

Clean hotel rooms. Management and staff dealt the concerns very well.

Bed is really high ! Difficult to get into. The televisions were difficult to control and no manuals to explain them .

The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were so hard.

Great room in a great location

Our loft room was nicely filled with everything. We were three older ladies travelling and appreciated the second bathroom. The balcony was lovely to have.

We had counted on the sofa bed being our third bed. I read a review that said the mattress was awful. It cannot be considered a third bed. Perhaps for a young child. Fortunately I had thrown in a foam mattress in my car and we used that over the thin mattress. Only other request would have been a box of Kleenex.

Great service, staff very friendly. Beautiful room and facilities. Bed was very comfy and washroom was great. Fridge, microwave, and Nespresso were nice to have. Lots of space. Patio was well used. A/C was welcome on the hot days. Would stay again.

Bedroom lighting was a tad dark. That's it. Everything else was great.

Very nice room, right in the town, comfy stiffer bed for me (not so much for my wife).

Google maps didn't understand where the parking was for this hotel but that is not on the hotel just a good point to other first timers in the park who need to follow a gps.

Vam demanar canvi d habitació al arribar perquè les que no son lofts tenen vistes desde l’habitació però la sala d estar està molt fosca. Em demanaven 150 CD extra per nit pel canvi però els vaig ensenyar la pàgina de booking on sortia molt mes barat i ho van acceptar. Em va semblar una mica estrany. Vam demanar neteja de l’habitació un dia dels 3 que vam estar i només van fer els llits i portar tovalloles, el terra estava brut i les tovalloles brutes les van deixar a l’habitació. Val a dir que el senyor que ens va atendre a la recepció l’últim dia va ser molt amable

We stayed at the Waterton Glacier suites for one night only, and found it to be comfortable, and refreshing. The beds were comfortable, and the room size was ok as well. Now the hotel does not have any lobby but a small front desk is present in the restaurant that is connected to the hotel. The hotels lacks some amenities that are part of the regular hotels, such as gym, pool, etc. Even the ice machine is in the parking lot. Waterton is a very small town and therefore, everything is on a walking distance and unless, you are going on excursions, there is not much in the town to see and do. I guess the hotel price was expensive due to the town in t is in, otherwise for the amenities it offer, the price should be much less. If you staying in Waterton overnight book early for a better deal.

They were very accommodating with regards to our stay, I had to reschedule due to bad weather. When we arrived, our vehicle got stuck in the snow, employees from the Inn, came out to help us out, as well as a few bystanders. They allowed me to park my vehicle in front of the main doors and we were able to check in earlier. The restaurant was amazing, the food was delicious.

The room was cold when we arrived, the fireplace took a while to kick in, there was a draft in the room, because the sliding door wasn't properly closed. It would have been nice to have some more amenities available, maybe some beverages in the fridge.

The suite was very small especially for the price. If you wanted more coffee, toilet paper etc you had to be in your room in the AM to answer the door or take a list of needs to the front desk. The location was good tho and there was ample parking.

Beautiful room with a small balcony and a stunning mountain view. The town itself is lovely as well. We had a great stay — everything we needed was there.
