Clean rooms excellent location

WiFi didn’t work

Prime location in the town of Waterton.

Few amenities, no breakfast, no hooks in the room to hang wet items

Poloha chatek byla výborná, blízko ke všem turistickým chodníkům, k jezeru a také do centra horského městečka. Check-in proběhl rychle a trval jen chviličku, klíče od chatek jsme dostali obratem. Chatky byly čisté, postele pohodlné, vybavení kompletní a funkční. Parkování bylo také bezproblémové, hned před chatkou.

Přespali jsme tady pouze jednu noc, během které se vše zdálo být v pořádku. Nemám tedy co vytknout.

We really liked the cabin feel. It had all the amenities we needed. Its location was perfect for seeing Waterton park.

The fireplace didn't work which was a feature we expected. The cost just was outrageous for one night to be honest. But we had to splurge. It just felt like robbery prices, especially since it was off-season and it wasn't fully booked. Also, it wasn't clear at booking that you had to pay for a park pass in order to even stay at the hotel. They have to be purchased for each day you are there.

Bathroom was clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Super easy to hear the neighbours. They played Backstreet Boys at 8am and I heard a phone conversation as if I was standing next to them while I was in my bathroom.

The beds were sunk in the middle. No mirror over the sink. The floor wasn't level. i thought a pigeon was nesting in the wall- it kept me up all night. I figured out it was the mini fridge in the morning. The walls are paper thin. you can hear your neighbor voiding.

The property was well situated and within walking distance of anything we wanted to do in the small town.

The property is old and has deferred maintenance. There were weeds growing on the sidewalk outside the door and flaking paint on the exterior. There is no air conditioning. The one window does open, but the security lights were too bright to leave the drapes even slightly open. The door to the room opens and locks with a key that was extremely difficult to use and it took many attempts to get the door unlocked each time we left.

Old facility, floors were extremely loud like the people above were going to come through the ceiling. Expensive for what it is

The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Reception was incredibly welcoming.

Staff had no idea if room was ready or not upon arrival,, level of cleanliness was not even close to acceptable, non working fan and and no help from front desk when asking for replacement. It appeared the shower / bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Overall a very disappointing experience for the price. Would never stay again and would never recommend.

Very dated rooms. Only a few rooms have air conditioning. The deluxe room did not have air conditioning, the bathroom had a lot of orange mould in the shower. Overall I found the rooms quite dark & depressing in decor. For the money it was very underwhelming.

No air conditioning- way to hot in there! Dirty/Dusty Rundown/Dingy- needs renos Flies coming into room because screen was bent and letting them in.

The location was stellar. Everywhere you went you had a view of the mountains. The lake was close by as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The cleanliness was up to my standards.

The dinning room chairs were too upright and uncomfortable. The other two chairs were way to deep and also uncomfortable.

Midden in het centrum. We komen hier meestal als we naar Waterton gaan. We hadden een huisje waar de herten voorbij lopen dicht tegen de hoofdstraat aan.

We hadden een probleem met het toilet de eerste nacht. Met een familiekamer is dat best lastig. Helaas duurde het wel even voordat er iemand kwam om het op te lossen. We moesten naar het hotel aan de overkant om gebruik te kunnen maken van het toilet. Gelukkig was het probleem verholpen toen we ‘s middags weer terugkwamen. Hotel maakt gebruik van externe storingsdienst. Misschien is het te overwegen om in de kamers of bij de receptie een ontstopper neer te zetten? Of om zelf iemand te hebben voor dit soort dingen?

Room was not clean. Had to clean the ceiling fan myself. Feet were black after walking on floor. Had to walk to another hotel to get ice as theirs was broken. Parking was tight & limited for the amount of rooms they had.

It is beautiful here we loved the village. There was a lot to do and places to eat.

Unser Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage was zu einem sehr überhitzten Raum führte.

Decor outdated, furniture worn, no pool facility, no air conditioning and only one window on one side of unit (so no cross-ventilation capability - it was REALLY hot in the room at night), no quite enough parking (there was a large motorcycle group staying there at the same time)

Everything. The family unit we rented was clean, with a very practical layout location wad also great. Walking distance from everything. We truly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come again.

Location is very good in downtown Waterton.

I have booked for two rooms since January 2029 and am asking for a closing together. However, I got two rooms in different buildings. Not quite sure what the criteria are. If this is the case, I might not need to book in advance too long. In addition, I have received an extra charge for my credit card without notifying me and I don't know exactly what it is.

As it is an older building g you can hear the neighbouring rooms. There are no hooks anywhere in the room (by the door, in the bathroom) but there is a little closet with hangers

Exceptional location with a mountain veiw and just a couple of minutes from the town centre with all the fun! Didn't expect to have some sort of a deck with benches to drink my morning coffee with the view. Rooms super clean and neat. Definitely good value for the location!

Nothing to think about, maybe the parking area is not very big, but enough for all the guests, it seems

Room was super cosy and comfortable, loved the beds and the shower, comfy armchair. Parking right outside in the heart of Waterton Park. The hotel part is a 9/10!

Firstly, I understand it's not the fault of the hotel, but my neighbours were awful and made lots of noise between 1am and 3am, which made my stay terrible. The negative point is the handling of the situation. It's not the fault of the young lady on reception who I told in the morning, but the response of "oh yeah that happens", isn't acceptable. Also there needs to be a seal around the door as there is a big gap and breeze comes in easy.

The property is in a good location and a decent value.

The doors slam very loud and the walls allow sound to travel through so badly. While it’s not the property’s fault the room next to us sounded like it had 10+ people partying until 1:00am, better sound insulation and/or quiet time policies would have been appreciated.

There is no soundproofing. Family above us was banging around, the worst I have ever experienced went on for an hour and a half and had to call the desk.

Location of the hotel and beds

The chairs are dilapidated and look extremely disgusting with visible dirts. I could not sit on the chairs even for a minute. The floors need to be redone. The oven was not cleaned and had crumbs of food everywhere. I expected better

I have always loved staying at Aspen Village. Been there many times. It is convenient, hospitable with good facilities.

I’ve never had any complaints other than I would prefer proper glasses and mugs.

Would work for people staying and shopping in town

Very noisy! They would do well to insulate the walls between rooms. Ours was like the people in the next room were in our room. That is unsatisfactory considering the cost of the room. The toilet was so low a handicapped person would not be able to use and the countertop in the bathroom was higher than normal.Would not make the mistake of staying there again.

It was located in Waterton. It had comfortable beds, a kitchen, and spacious for our group of five.

For the price we paid I expected a better experience. We were placed ground level and the rooms upstairs were so loud all night. Could hear everything. Footsteps, toilet use, and they were moving furniture around until 4 in the morning. There is no staff on duty at night to address the problem. Didn’t get any sleep.

Not enough cutlery for a 6 person room. Only one roll of toilet paper for our party of five for two days was supplied.

La chambre est grande mais comme les lits sont énormes, il reste peu de place de vie. On ne peut pas s'asseoir à deux car pas de place pour 2 chaises.

After booking the confirmation note stated that not all air conditioners were working - I should have been told this before booking. The refrigerator was not working properly - freezer worked but not the refrigerator part. There was no locking on the patio door to the balcony. The toilet was very low - not very good for seniors; perhaps a handrail would help. The tub was high - good for soaking but hard for a senior to get into; also very slippery bottom in the tub. Flooring seemed to be fairly new but was lifting up in several areas. No elevator to the second floor - this should have been made clear during the booking process. Outdoor chairs are very low and not good for seniors. The hotel is old and dated; it needs some upgrades and maintenance.

Not suitable at all for seniors. There are absolutely no hooks behind doors to hang items, bath tub is very nice and deep but almost impossible to get into for elderly guests especially since there are no hand-holds to hold onto. We were sold a deluxe room but the balcony was small and paint was peeling! The view, though was very nice. Also, we (80 and 83 years old) were not advised that we had to climb some stairs to get to our room. All in all it should be stated that the room(s) is absolutely not suitable for seniors. Being former hotel owners we can say that the room assigned to us could be upgraded quickly by making some inexpensive changes such as adding the items mentioned above, put some pictures on the walls and paint the ugly baseboards and the plywood box the bed is sitting on.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Aspen Village Inn! The atmosphere was great and our stay in Waterton was very memorable.

The only minor suggestion I have for the management team is regarding the microwave placement in the room. It is positioned quite high (above the fridge), which might be difficult or even a bit unsafe for people of average height to reach, especially when handling hot food. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again!

Not good service from the staff side, I have discussed several things before booking with the staff and no promises was made when I arrive there. The facilities was really old, not smelling good, even the vinyl planks in the rooms was not proper, bed and matters wasn’t comfortable. Bad service.
