Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences

The property was clean and well-appointed. It is located in a nice neighborhood. The views of the Nile River and promenade were fantastic. The swimming area was kept clean and the poolside service staff were attentive and helpful.

I liked everything about the property.

We were given the Nile Suite which was great for a family. The view was great. The balcony is very small in width, can only stand on it.

It is very noisy at night with Cairo being noisy as they don’t seem to sleep. Difficult to swim in the pool as an Australian woman as women in a Muslim country should remain covered. Be careful of scammers.

The friendly staff, the location and the service

The hotel needs renovation. The bedding at this hotel is in desperate need of an update. The sheets and pillowcases felt worn out, and well past their prime. Instead of the crisp, fresh linens you expect from a hotel, the fabric felt rough and uncomfortable. However they were clean. Investing in new, high-quality white linens and fresher pillows would completely change the guest experience.

The furniture and atmosphere in the rooms is a bit old school. I would expect a better maintained room from the Hilton brand

We were warmly welcomed by the Manager, Ahmed Mahgoub, who was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated the exceptional hospitality. We look forward to enjoy the rest of our stay at the hotel.

There was nothing in particular that we disliked. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and the staff made every effort to ensure we had a great experience.

Location and hospitality , Mr. Hassan in restaurant and Mr.Ali who take my luggage and the great lady who was in reception duty in charge when i arrived, she was very helpful

I reserved half board and found no open buffet in the diner only set menu without drinks!

Sandra and Abounb go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of, regularly checking in to ensure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Their kindness, attentiveness, and dedication really stand out. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

L'hôtel n'a pas délivré de facture, la réservation ayant été effectuée par l'intermédiaire de Booking.com. Le bruit des compresseurs de la clim à proximité de la chambre 409. De plus, notre départ ayant eu lieu très tôt le matin, la réception nous avait assuré qu'un petit déjeuner à emporter serait préparé. Cependant, cet engagement n'a pas été tenu : aucun petit déjeuner ne nous a été remis au moment de notre départ.

Had a wonderful experience at the Tea Time Lounge at Hilton Zamalek. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing with a beautiful Nile view. The food and drinks were excellent, but what truly made the experience special was the outstanding service from Mahmoud Atia. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, making sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Thank you, Mahmoud, for your exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

Замечательный отель,понравилось всё, завтрак отличный, каждое утро натуральные соки, фрукты разнообразные, тушенные овощи, нарезки из разных сортов сыра,колбасы, всё очень вкусно, большой выбор еды.Персонал очень вежливый, вечером можно посидеть в кафешке возле бассейна, ветер дует со стороны Нила, совсем забыла об изнурительной жаре в Каире,администрация предоставила велком дринк и закуски, бассейн очень чистый, пользоваться можно до 5 вечера, потом там уже народ собирается в кафешке, предоставляют бесплатно так же сауну до 10 часов вечера,,отличная! Тщательная проверка на входе, меры безопасности на высшем уровне, вокруг очень много посольств разных стран и на каждом шагу стоят полицейские. Этот остров Замалек и именно наш отель как оазис в Каире. Можно прогуляться по набережной вечером от отеля минут 3 пешком дойти и в июле там было очень приятно и прохладно от воды. Однозначно рекомендую!

Вернулась в этот отель во второй раз из-за полного комфорта,тишины, чистоты, вкусной еды и местоположения. Обязательно если буду в Каире однозначно другой отель не буду даже рассматривать! Спасибо администрации за все!

The perfect spot for exploring Cairo’s multiple historic sites and relaxing by the pool between the Nile and the cozy atmosphere of Zamalek.

the person who was my first contact was great. I also benefited from an upgrade to a very spacious sweet with a nice Nile view.

Other than the staff member who checked me in, the reception team was generally unresponsive to calls from the rooms and was not particularly helpful when we enquired about a missing bag. The bag contained gifts from our home country for friends, including olive oil and harissa purchased at the duty-free shop. We were surprised to be told by the receptionist that whenever food items are found, they are destroyed without any attempt to contact the owner. This was disappointing, especially considering the value and sentimental nature of the items. There was also some selective treatments observed as someone was smoking in the non smoking area of the restaurant and a friend of mine was sitting just behind him and was told not to smoke. When he inquired, they told him that the person who was smoking has a privileged treatment.

Thank you so much for the wonderful atmosphere and the team—they were very friendly. Jannat was absolutely delightful and extremely helpful. Many thanks for the warm welcome and the assistance.

This is my first time staying in Zamalek and glad I chose this property. The property is located on a high end street full of embassies and in a walking distance to all necessities. It’s directly on the Nile and short drive from all major attractions in Cairo. Great Nile view from my suite. Staff are beyond superb, very accommodating and helpful. It starts with great leadership as their GM and ops manager were very welcoming and responsive. Their front office and F&B team understand the definition of service and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Rooms a bit used, x ray maxhines delete your roomcards, and you need to go to receiption to reset it.

We enjoyed the buffet style breakfast provided with a wide variety of food, both that which you'd expect such as eggs, fruit, porridge but also other dishes such as Indian daal and an Egyptian fava bean dish called Foul. Out hosts were very accommodating and made us feel welcome, including Amanoub who wished to make sure we were happy with what we had to eat.

Prepare to be scammed. Most of the positive reviews are about the restaurant and restaurant staff. Otherwise the hotel is very dated and they will try to cheat you in to a different room. You have been warned.

After I wrote a beautiful review for Hilton Zamalek in Cairo on google reviews for everyone to see, I had the experience of a lifetime. Leaving Hilton and Cairo, we went to Luxor. After Luxor, we were heading to a different hotel, as we had planned three months ago. But what shocked us was that the accommodation we booked and what we actually got near the Pyramids was something we never expected, especially having booked it through Booking.com. A scam is not something you don’t expect in Egypt, but when you watch videos, you never think it will actually happen to you. And it did. We got scammed. So the first thing we did in the morning was check out and come back to Hilton Residences Zamalek. The people who worked there, Farida, the Duty Manager, and Abd El Rahman, the receptionist, welcomed us like family! We got a beautiful bedroom, service that exceeded our expectations, and something I needed at that moment: empathy for the situation we had gone through. So once again, a big thanks to Nahla, Tarek, Farida, and Abd El Rahman! You reminded us that even in an ocean of disappointment, there are still genuinely good people who make all the difference. They have shown, through their outstanding customer service, what real hospitality looks like. The level of care, empathy, and attention they give to their guests is something that is sadly very rare to see these days. It is exactly this kind of service that makes people return again and again. Hilton, Thank you so much!! We had the best holiday ever! ♥️♥️♥️
