Fantastic location and we really enjoyed the pool party in the late afternoon/early evening with the kids playing volleyball and joining the pool-side competitions

I asked for an extra bed to be made up in the room and the reception said we needed to wait until we checked in and even when we reminded them they forgot so we had to call again from the room. The rooms are quite small for our family of 5.

Close enough to walk to parks. Fast track to rides included. Pool with Cinema great. Food a little pricey but very good quality.

Érkezésünkor borzasztó sötét volt a lobbyban, mintha bányában jártunk volna. A penész szaga is megcsapta az orromat, amit a szobai légkondicionálóból is lehetet érezni.Nem értem miért kell arra is figyelni egy szállásfoglalásnál, hogy van-e benne reggeli a szoba árában? Apartmanoknál nincsen ezt mindenki tudja, de hogy egy szállodában, ne legyen benne a szobaárban a reggeli ezt a legrosszabb rémálmomban sem gondoltam volna. Van még ilyen szálloda a világon, ahol ez még kérdés tárgya? Röhejes és abszurd! A szobák közötti hangszigetelés is elégtelen. A szomszéd TV-ét simán lehetet hallani.

The location was excellent, and the boat transportation to Universal was very convenient. The bell staff were also very friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

The cleanliness was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned properly during our stay. The staff saw that the bedsheet was dirty but did not replace it. We also requested extra blankets because it was cold at night, but the blankets we received had a very unpleasant smell and did not seem fresh or clean. At The Kitchen restaurant during breakfast, although our servers were nice and friendly, the staff working at the egg and waffle stations were noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming. They rarely smiled and seemed bothered or unhappy when preparing our orders, which made us feel uncomfortable asking for anything. This was especially disappointing at a family-oriented hotel.

Facturer un parking en plus à 36 dollars pour 24 heures alors que la chambre est déjà très cher (plus de 800 dollars avec les pass unlimited et sans petit déjeuner) ! Et vous ne pouvez pas vous garez dans la rue donc c'est du racket ! offrez-le, c'est le minimum. Cela fait vraient radin !

Right inside universal studio, can’t find better, staff are nice and clear in instructions. All is well thought even for guests who don’t go in the park, fast pass included, best for value. Restaurant Palm is great, the best we have tried so far since one week in America!

O funcionário da recepção nos causou um transtorno de aproximadamente meia hora, pois afirmou que minha reserva não existia e que eu teria que entrar em contato com o Booking para resolver o problema. Demonstrou despreparo e, mesmo com toda a documentação correta, simplesmente transferiu a responsabilidade. Após 30 minutos de estresse desnecessário, informou que havia ocorrido apenas uma inversão entre o nome e o sobrenome e que a reserva estava correta. Para piorar, minha reserva era para o andar VIP, onde se espera um atendimento diferenciado e mais cuidadoso.

Fast passes for Universal's parks are great, however are very expensive.

We paid a lot of money for this room and it smelled quite strongly of dampness.

Overall, our stay was mixed. The location and included Express Passes are excellent, but several issues meant this wasn’t the experience we expected from a premium Universal hotel. Positives • The location is excellent, with a 5–10 minute walk to Universal Studios or frequent complimentary water taxis to both parks. • The pool area is very good, with plenty of sunbeds available and attentive poolside service. • We used self-parking ($36 plus tax per night), and the bell service was helpful in unloading our luggage before parking, with access to the car park via a set of stairs from reception. • The included Unlimited Express Passes are a fantastic benefit and make visiting Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure much easier. • We also used the laundry room on level 4, which was convenient. It cost approximately $6 per load for both the washer and dryer, with detergent powder also available. Negatives • The fire alarm went off twice during our stay, including once at around 5:00 am, which was very disruptive. • Housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days the room was cleaned in the morning, while on others it wasn’t serviced until late afternoon, making it difficult to return to the room for a break. • An incorrect charge appeared on our bill. Reception removed it straight away, but it shouldn’t have happened. • The most concerning issue occurred at around 10:00 pm, when a shopping delivery that wasn’t ours was placed inside our room while the whole family was asleep. I returned it to reception, but there seemed to be little concern that someone had entered an occupied room late at night, despite the delivery not even being for us. • The shuttle bus to Epic Universe, particularly for Early Park Admission, was poor. Buses were only every 20–30 minutes, stopped at Portofino first, and were often already full by the time they reached Hard Rock. On more than one occasion we had to stand or wait for the next bus. Given that Early Park Admission is a key benefit of staying at a Universal hotel, the transport to Epic simply wasn’t good enough. For the price and reputation of Hard Rock Hotel, we expected a much more consistent experience. The location and Express Passes are outstanding, but the repeated operational issues meant this was an average stay overall rather than the premium experience we had hoped for.

Amy and Chris were the best bartenders I’ve had at a vacation resort in a long time. Great drinks and great company. Looking forward to going back soon!

We enjoyed the decor and the grandness. The proximity to the parks. The room was a generous size. Lighting in vanity area was excellent. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Little detail references to pop and rock music were very perfect.

The shower isn't that great, small bathtub. Pillows very soft. Needs tea bags in the room as well as coffee.

We recently stayed here for our third visit and everything was just as good as we remembered. Check in was quick and efficient. We were able to check in early morning prior to parks opening and were given our express passes. We were then emailed when our rooms were available. Our request for 2 adjoining rooms was met. The rooms had been refurbished since our last stay. They were very clean and contained all the amenities we required. This hotel is in the perfect location for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, being just a few minutes walk through scenic grounds to reach City Walk. Boat transportation is available but we found it quicker to walk. We love the vibe of this hotel, with constant music playing both in the lobby and at the pool. With restaurants indoor and pool bars and a Hard Rock shop, plus a quick serve they have everything you need. All the staff were friendly and helpful and service was efficient, if for example we asked for luggage to be moved and stored. We had breakfast at The Kitchen, choosing the buffet option. Made to order items are available on this option as well as the numerous options already out and it is just one of the best breakfasts in Orlando. One member of the family also ate at The Palm restaurant which is a wonderful fine dining experience. We would definitely hope to return for a 4th time in the future.

We visited Hard Rock 4 years ago and decided to return for the proximity to the park and Express pass. We opted for the Club room on floor 7 with my 11 and 16 year old. The room was old and tired and really was small for the money paid. The small make up mirror was broken. There was little room for toiletries for the whole family in the bathroom. The club level / Rock Royalty experience was disappointing with it being in the ballroom. Such a way from the rooms...it was poor value for money too. There were few healthy options...no standard greek or plaon yoghurt for instance, just ones full of sugar. Given the work happening to this facility on 7th floor, we should have been compensated in some way. I was disappointed that balls could not be used in the pool...kids should be able to play. They do allow blow up beach balls so definitely pack one if you are heading there this summef. Finally, I do think they should rethink the policy of not including fast pass for Volcano Bay or at least offer a discounted rate. Queues were so long. 70 minutes for most slides. Overall, I thought value for money was poor. I wouldnt't return in a hurry.

Well we just checked in and they said we could check in early even though we were going to wait. Well the room was to have a view however it had a roof from the building blocking our view. We paid for a view but got ripped off. Thanks check in people not cool. Room 5040

Amazing location and so much to do

For me, I found this hotel was all about location and the perks it offers with park access and express passes. The hotel itself was very average, on arrival their was no offer of assistance with luggage and check in appeared to just be a huge overload of information from a pre read which after a long days travelling from the UK went in one ear and straight out the other. With still no offer of luggage assistance we made our way off to our room. The positive being we saved on a tip! The room was clean, well presented with 2 very large beds and has all the usual amenities. The fridge is empty allowing you to fill it with your own stuff and Ice is available on each floor. The pool area is great, lots of beds available, pool table service offered meaning you don’t have to go to the bar. We found this a good place to go for lunch whilst also taking a break from the parks and the Florida sunshine. With this property you have a private entrance into City Walk. This is a short walk or boat ride and no queues at security. You also get the Express Pass, this is valid from the moment you check-in until park closing on the day of departure and this saves so much time compared with the usual queues for the rides. Having stayed at this hotel in 2019 we found on this occasion it wasn’t as good and didn’t live up to the expectations we had built. Interactions with the front desk staff appeared to be very robotic and they were very disinterested with everything else.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a different league to the one in Hollywood, Florida. A great first impression as you enter, and a Rock Shop too. The hotel overlooks the pools where you can sit and enjoy a drink on the terrace. The pools themselves are large and the pool area spacious and stays open into the night so a great place to sit. Free water taxi to City Walk till late although the walk is only about ten minutes. Also on the bus route to Epic and Volcano Bay. Wonderful although the parking charge of $36.00 per day is a stinger they could drop.

Amazing!!! We had express passes and an awesome day at the pool with great service at the Cabana! We loved it and will definitely come back!

The food took a while to arrive and the fridge at the cabana should have a bit more beverages.

The express passes were great and the staff at concierge and the check in were excellent. The location so close to universal is also a real bonus, plus the option of the water boat or short walk :-)

The value for money in the restaurant was poor and it was to cold in there.

Walking distance to the parks and such a high standard of accommodation. We were surprisingly upgraded to ‘rock royalty’ which included snacks, drinks and breakfast. What a treat! The staff member who did this for us was outstanding - apologies I didn’t get her name as I was so overwhelmed. The decoration is so wonderful and the beds uber comfortable.
