Hotel Majestic Saigon

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. The rooftop bar was a wonderful bonus, offering beautiful views of the Saigon River. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was lovely to experience the charm of this historic hotel, which is still operating today. Highly recommend.

The carpet in the room need to be changed or cleaned better. It was really dirty. Other than that everything was really good. The breakfast had a good selection of options and the staff was really good. Location was excellent but can be a bit noisy.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Majestic - the location is excellent, the staff are wonderful, so courteous and ready to assist in any way. The rooms are well appointed, easy to access, spacious, beautiful bedding, great bathroom, we stayed in a Deluxe Twin. The buffet breakfast was delicious, a variety of food types, so much to choose from, a great way to start the day. The rooftop bar was perfect to enjoy a well earned refreshment after a busy day, whether touring or shopping, and of course this comes with the most wonderful view.

We could not find fault with anything at this establishment

The services and personnel were very good, the best we had on our 3 weeks in Vietnam. The hotel is charming, keeping the 1925 original vibe. It is very clean, staff is extremely attentive and provide a real 5* treatment (which is rare in Vietnam, based on our experience). Breakfast is good (though it can get busy in the morning and hard to get a good table inside).

The room was small and the AC blows directly on the bed. You cannot be without the AC (it’s always very hot), but the AC is very old and regardless of settings, fan direction and temperature doesn’t change. I got sick because of it (always very cold and blowing in my head during the night). The room we had faced the street, it was very loud and the curtains would not fully close. So you cannot have a nice quiet sleep - it’s noisy and with some light coming in, so ask for a room facing the pool. The smell! When we got it there was a nice perfume coming from a diffuser, but it was very strong and we didn’t want to sleep with it. We asked the staff to remove it and then we understood why it was there to begin with. There is a strong dump smell without it. The price: because we were there during the National Day holiday we paid 1.5 times the regular price, which fr what the hotel provides, it is not worth it (£130/night). The area is nice but extremely busy and everything is more expensive. Overall, we had a bad experience and I would not return

It’s a beautiful building, it’s so well maintained and it hasn’t been ruined by renovations. The pool area is so calm and relaxing.

The only thing is having to get in and out of the bath to shower, that’s just because it’s older.

The shower was inside the bathtub, understandable given the vintage of the hotel, but difficult to use as we get older.

Bel hôtel chargé d’histoire (ah Catherine Deneuve dans Indochine !) ; jolie chambre avec balcon donnant sur la piscine ; sdb spacieuse (mais cela dépend du standing chb choisi) ; piscine très propre, calme et agréable ; petit déjeuner très varié avec une belle vue sur la rivière ; personnel très sympathique, attentionné et avenant (petit dej à emporter pour une excursion à 4:30 du matin….) ; délicates attentions au coucher (petits gâteaux et histoires imprimées) ; très bonne localisation.

フロントやスタッフのホスピタリティが素晴らしいです。とても丁寧に対応していただきました。記念日を事前に伝えたところ、リバービューの景観が良いお部屋でケーキとフルーツのプレゼントがありました。また、お部屋の家具やホテル全体の内装が素敵でした。１区にあり、ホテルから中心地のため観光もしやすかったです。

古い建築物のため廊下に段差があるところがありました。

歴史ある建物でとても綺麗でした。 プールも素敵で最高。 スタッフの人もやさしい。 また行きたい。

아침 6시부터 4층 방에서 소음이 심합니다. 제방만 그랬던건지 몰라도 잠들기 힘들정도로 시끄럽고 불편했습니다. 소음 신경써주세요. 방에서 나와서 엘레베이터까지 덥습니다. 키 하나만 줘서 불편했습니다 소음말고는 괜찮았습니다.

部屋が広くて良かったです。 ドアボーイもいて、さすが一流のホテルだと思いました。 朝食も大満足でした。

トイレはウォシュレットでないのはやむを得ませんが、ベトナムではどこでも付いているお尻を洗うノズルが付いていないのが残念でした。又、シャワーヘッドを固定するところがゆるゆるで、手に持って使わざるを得ませんでした。 写真ではスイートルームから川の景色が見えると期待していましたが、川が見えない部屋でした。

A beautiful elegant hotel on the river, the staff were great, bed was extremely comfortable and a spacious bathroom. This hotel is maintained and kept impeccably, breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam.

少し古めではあるけれど天井も高く雰囲気は素敵でした。朝食も５階で景色も良く美味しかったです。

部屋にリサイクルのゴミ箱はあるが普通のゴミ箱はパスルームにしかなく部屋にはなかったので少し不便に思えた。

Beautiful French style hotel close to the river in district 1. Great pool and good for guests who don’t like newer high rise hotels. Breakfast was amazing!

They are currently doing site works during the day so you can’t really sleep in past 9am. The world go from around 9am - 5pm.

I had one room service meal that was disappointing but overall the meals were fantastic.

A beautiful hotel with decent room. I had very negative feeling about the front desk management, but felt positive about the floor and bell men, and breakfast buffet service.

Stupid management. I read and knew that JFK stayed here in 1951 when he was a congressman, 2 years before becoming a senator and 10 years before being US president. I asked where he stayed and about other celebs like Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, Catherine DeNeuve who had stayed here. They were so cagey about it and wouldn't tell me. They didn't know how to showcase their heritage, like the Saigon Morin in Hue and the Hotel Continental nearby. This pos management even tried to switch my room to an inferior one without a balcony. Wtf? Why these guys even work in the hospitality industry, much less to manage a heritage hotel? Pos, pos!

This is a beautiful, luxury hotel at an incredibly reasonable price. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is fabulous. We changed our mind on the twin room we'd booked and were given a great price on an upgrade to a suite. Get a river view room if you can (or just go sit in the roof top bar) - watching the river and the street at night is so wonderful! The location and the facilities and the pool at the hotel are fab. Best staff in the world!

Current construction on river should have been communicated (can’t see river), breakfast goods not overly fresh - some food seemed like it had been repurposed? View of construction site (did book city view but pretty ordinary)- couldn’t use balcony.
