The check in woman very miserable, impatient, mattresses stored in hallway, lift broken.

No lift to third floor, very low ceiling in places meaning a lot of stooping and ducking.

No more sauna

It was a last minute booking after a disaster pus start to our holiday, the original property was not somewhere you could stay if all I’ll say. However, Scotland spa hotel saved the day! The staff greeted us warmly, even let us check in early as they noticed I hadn’t slept (I must have looked awful lol) it was close to all shops, the staff were friendly and helpful, the spa was great and we had it to ourselves… next time we’ll get a treatment too! The beds are super comfy and I slept fully for the first night in a week!

Our room was at a corner so quite noisy with traffic but not a major deal (we sleep through most things). Breakfast was ok… people kept leaving the kids up in hot plates so by time you got to the front of the queue food was cold, little bit cramped but again staff very helpful when needed.

De kamer en badkamer waren ronduit smerig.

Perfekt läge, vackra rum och lokaler. Fin utsikt, välstädat och underbart trevlig personal framför allt en kvinna som städade rum med lila hår var glad, hjälpsam och mycket trevlig!

Perfect location, our room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. The pool and steam room were good and plenty of onsite parking was a great bonus, will be back in the future.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and overall a pleasant experience. Our room had a newly renovated bathroom and charming, traditional interior. The spa was also very nice, clean and not too crowded.

Good location and good facilities

Location is great right in the middle of Pitlochry town. Breakfast is good with a wide selection of food available. I had requested a room with a bath which was available.

On arrrival there were no spaces left to park. As usual (as a single traveller) I was given a room with a horrible view. However none of this compared to a night with NO sleep. Just below my window was an extractor fan which continued all night long On/Off On/Off it was like torture you thought it had finished then it started again. When I spoke to the duty manager she knew all about it and explained that it was to do with the kitchen fridge.......Why would you put a guest in a room where you knew there was that level of noise???? Most of the bedroom furniture would be better on a bonfire.

The room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was excellent

Had an issue with the heat. The radiator was turned on high, and could not get it to shut off. They called a maintenance person late in the evening, and he was able to unhook it.

Very poor quality hot breakfast -no choice of eggs other than fried or scrambled. Bedroom carpet stained. Needs also better bar/lounge area

Only slight problem was the shower, the water took ages to heat up and the water pressure was really bad.

The decor was dated and in need of refreshing. As it was our 20th wedding anniversary i booked us in for treatments at the same time as there were 2 members of staff available to choose from online. When we arrived we were told that the hotel staff could not access the spa system to check so we would need to come to Reception at 9am to speak to spa staff. So I left my breakfast to go cold to ensure I spoke to someone only to find one booking was confirmed but not the other.I was told there was only 1 member of staff at the spa but when I managed to book a shorter treatment for myself the next morning it was a different member of staff?

It was really hot and the room was tired and aging. Didn’t dare go near the pool. The signage threatening to be made to mop the floors was off putting.

Buffet ok but 2nd day it was not hot ! Did not bother going again went to greggs.

Every thing from how clean every where was, the character of the building, The location. The staff are amazing especially a young man Joseph who worked on the house keeping side he went above and beyond to cater to us. Everything was just perfect

Only the fact the bed was far to hard bit a conversation with The reception and Joseph from house keeping and we soon came to a solution which helped make our stay all the more perfect. The accessibility was great I am disabled and the effort that was made to make the bed more comfortable really meant a lot

Room was lovely - beds comfortable and clean Breakfast had a really good choice - catered for people with different intolerances i.e Almond milk etc. Location was fantastic just a short walk into the centre of Pitlochry where there is something for everyone from distilleries to independant shops, great pubs and local cafes

Hotel it’s self looking a bit tired and could do with a revamp to make more appealing. Unfortunately bedroom had strange smell on arrival. The duvet cover had rip in it and were noticeable marks on curtains. The window looked directly onto the road/pavement, meaning people could easily look into room. A screen or blind would have provided more privacy. The bathroom itself was nice although sink taps appeared to have been fitted incorrectly as one turned in and loose.

The spa facilities are good. Beds were comfortable and breakfast choice was good.

Ladies had to change in the disabled toilet for spa facilities which should have been cleaned regularly with so many people using. Also, the floor was extremely wet. The spiders 🥴 We had to deal with at least 7 in and around our room. Hotel decor is a bit dated.

Great location and a decent breakfast with hot and cold options. The Nespresso machine in the room was also a nice touch. Although we only communicated with the reception staff when we checked in, they were friendly.

Unfortunately, the hotel is quite dated and very poorly maintained. The reception area looks inviting, but the upper-floor corridors were shabby and dirty. The room was average, looked not only dated but also not particularly clean, with a slight damp smell in the bathroom and poor shower pressure. Housekeeping was particularly disappointing; on the second day, the room looked barely touched, with the duvet simply pulled over, the cleaner on duty might as well not have bothered. I also found the coffee cups were dirty, most likely just rinsed in the bathroom sink, with coffee residue still visible. The pool changing area was also dirty and unkempt. With some fresh paint, updated furnishings and much better attention to cleaning, this hotel could be significantly improved.

Really nice relaxing vibe, breakfast was excellent, staff were all lovely and our massages were really good too!

Unfortunately the smaller jacuzzi pool was out of order when we stayed, a little gutted about that but would definitely book again & just double check all facilities are available for next time.

Good location and availability of spa facilities

Our room had absolutely no privacy. People in the garden and walking along the road outside could see straight into the room. Bathroom tired with lots of black mould on the sealant. No bedside light on one side of the bed. General air of slightly down at heel in the hotel.

In den Zimmer, welches Strassenseite war, sollte ein Vorhang montiert werden, damit man von aussen nicht reinzieht. Ich meine ein weisser, durchsichtiger Vorhang.

Room was a bit dusty, fan in bathroom didn't work, windows rattled when open with passing traffic, woke up to condensed windows, toilet seat lose., shower needed cleaning black mould, also toilet door had splash marks, and alot to be desired with cleanliness, behind tea station dust was thick!! Door to wardrobe stuck, .

The maze of corridors to get to the room. Sounds pretty, but you should be able to get more than half a dozen channels on the TV without having to sign up to/into services.....

Close proximity to village. Breakfast was good and varied.

Elevator to third floor out of service, very steep stairs from second to third floor. Room 306 was not a deluxe double room based on website photos. We were in an attic room with slopeing ceiling. Furniture placement made it extremely difficult to move without constantly ducking (to miss the ceiling).

Good location just off main street with free parking. Plenty of lounge areas to relax. Breakfast included was good, including gf sausages/schar cornflakes plus gf bread can be requested. Nespresso machine was a lovely addition to room.

Electric fan that I needed to use was extremely dusty along with rest of room. No meals/snacks other than breakfast available, bar is not available when the staff are busy dealing with reception/spa.

Die Lage in Pitlochry. Das Frühstück war auch okay. Die Betten waren bequem.

In der ersten Nacht waren wir in Zimmer 116, direkt neben dem Abzugsrohr der Küche. Morgens um 5.15 startete der Küchenbetrieb. An Schlaf war nicht mehr zu denken. Nachdem ich das moniert hatte, erhielten wir umgehend ein gutes und geräumiges Zimmer. Ich finde, Zimmer 116 dürfte nicht angeboten werden.

I THINK THE ROOMS COULD DO WITH A LITTLE TLC. I WAS ALSO TOO HOT. ONE IS NOT ABLE TO TURN OFF THE RADIATOR IN THE ROOM AND WAS ON FULL WHACK ALL EVENING/ MORNING. I HAD THE WINDOW OPEN AND FAN ON AND STILL UNCOMFORTABLE.

The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection. The location was very good as well.

The decor of the hotel was very tired and it needs quite a bit of maintenance done to it. The furniture in our room looked like it had been brought from a a charity shop a few years ago. Our room wasn't cleaned one day and we had to ask reception for milk, tea bags and toilet rolls as they were not replaced. Plus, the shower head kept on falling down and hitting you on the head when having a shower. We were very disappointed with the hotel

Very dirty , dusty . Lifts that don’t work changing rooms out of action a work on going around the pool . Given the most inaccessible room needing a very long walk and stairs . This was however change a bit with another room still a long walk.

Lovely warm pool. Great selection for breakfast (hot and continental). Helpful staff. Free transport to and from Pitlochry Theatre. Relaxing and attractive lounge area.

Price of drinks - £9 for small bottle of Prosecco! Very small shower cubicle, but no space to increase size.

Breakfast choice and quality excellent. Staff very helpful. Location great for exploring the town.

The pool shower and ladies changing rooms were out of action due to refurbishment so not ideal with just one disabled toilet available to change. Appreciate this is a short term inconvenience.

Everything needs updating and modernising. My parents who are in their 70s were put on the top floor with no lift to top floor, the top floor was like going back in time. I asked for them to be moved but there was no availability. Swimming area was dirty including steam room.

As always, the pool and steam room were lovely, and the bedroom was quiet and very comfortable.

Breakfast was disappointing, as it has changed from cooled-to-order to a fairly basic and tasteless buffet, while prices for the rooms have gone up. Receiving less for more is pretty standard in 2026, but it's a shame.

It was ideally situated in the heart of Pitlochry. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was big and the beds comfortable.

Our room was on the top floor which was quite a walk from the lift on the 2nd floor and up a narrow staircase and through corridor with very old carpet, definitely needing updated.

The lift to the 3rd floor wasn't working - was asked if I could manage about 10 stairs- there were 17! The buffet provided by the hotel was very poor quality food- rice, pasta and small pieces of chicken The bedside lamp was absolutely thick with dust ( which doesn't show up well on the attached photo)and the velux window didn't shut properly so woken by very noisy birds in the morning Cost over £400 for a 2 night stay for one person

The hotel was lovely, being an older hotel you did get creaky floorboards but given the age of the building this can't be helped. Staff were lovely, and the breakfast was amazing, so much choice and a buffet breakfast too. Very central to town, a minutes walk and you were on the main street.

The doors really banged, I know they have to be fire doors, but boy did they bang.

One very nice waitress from Thailand in the breakfast room was absolutely fantastic she was really attentive and charming.

The room was really dated and the house keeping was terrible one morning they did not leave hand towels and another no toilet rolls and the room was never hoovered.

Toute la robinetterie de la salle de bain est à revoir. L’ampoule de la lampe de chevet était HS et elle n’en avait pas à la réception. Je pensais que le déjeuner était compris mais en fait non, donc à vérifier à la réservation (on y a renoncé du coup car il est assez cher)
