Very noisy - you can hear every footstep from the room above. Request a top floor room! Poor breakfast.

Clean room with comfortable beds. It was quiet and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

A small table with a couple of chairs would be nice for eating and enjoying a coffee.

Very clean, we had comfortable beds and were able to wash our clothes. The takeaway breakfast was good.

Location to areas of Kamloops

Check-in with the Bookings reservation was quick and easy, the room was clean and quiet and even with all the smoke from the fires this summer, the air inside was clean and fresh. The pool was also nice.

Room was exactly what I expected, after staying here 10 days earlier. Clean, quiet, staff were good and check-in was simple and straight forward.

The pancake machine breaking in the middle of breakfast was pretty rough. Kids were very disappointed. Slowed down our departure in the morning, which was frustrating

There was no coffee maker, just a cappuccino machine that leaked. Luckily, my room also had a kettle so I bought instant coffee and a nice mug instead of the espresso tiny cups.

The lights in the room were a hospital-like white - should really consider some warmer or softer hues

Bed was not made very well, looked like it had been slept in and sheets just pulled up. we were concerned so we pulled back the sheets and remade the bed ourselves to ensure it was clean.

Pool is not tempered and was cold. The grab on the go breakfast could be improved.

Space was a bit cramped making access difficult when more than 2 or 3 people there.

Okay for a one night stop off

Photos as presented on Booking.com did not quite represent the rooms themselves. I did ask at reception if some rooms had been refurbished and we had been allocated an older room!!

Cleanliness. Bathroom was dirty with hair in the floor and in the tub. There was a layer of dirt and grim on the heater and edging. The sheets were stiff and the pillows lumpy or hard.

The onsite Indian restaurant was very good especially Mumu who was excellent with her service

Room 103 stank and we had to ask for a different room which ended up being 206, which had a slight smell but acceptable. The hotel needs to clean and disinfect the air conditioning filters.

Microwave standard in room. Pet folks- please note there is not really a good spot to take your dog. the end of the lot near the restaurant is FULL of litter and who knows what else- ? cigarette or marijuana butts etc which can be very toxic for pets. that area needs to be cleaned up- very unsightly and looks like a drug hang out.

I liked the location, the view and the new bright pink colour scheme. It was a refreshing change from the ordinary hotel room.

Breakfast was limited with no room to sit and eat.

We found the air conditioner noisy & not that clean & no chairs to sit on deck & some thing wrong with toilet as it made a very loud noise when tank filling & need regular coffee not the expresso & very noisy with upper unit & flooring.

Easy to get to when travelling from Whistler. Fully contained motel style. Good Himalayan restaurant over the road. The onsite Indian restaurant is closed on Mondays.

We appreciated that the person in the front office came promptly to the room to assist when we couldn't work out how to operate the hotplate. He brought a portable hotplate and also a booklet which helped us work it all out. The location was good - close to the Trans Canada Hwy and also a supermarket. The suite was spacious and had what we needed to self cater.

Wir haben die Schritte aus dem Zimmer über uns sehr deutlich gehört, ebenso die Badezimmergeräusche von oben und nebenan.

Large room, great beds

Very limited supply of convenience items. No tea bags, milk or sugar .. but a kettle was provided? Grab n go breakfast was a good idea but in a terrible location. No room for people to access the items and the queue was out the door. Inappropriate cutlery provided.

Great view and next to a viewpoint of the city. Good breakfast.

Das ist ein sehr einfaches Motel/Hotel, das aber auch einen sehr günstigen Preis hat. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig, aber unser Zimmer war soweit weg von der Straße, dass der Straßenlärm keine Rolle gespielt hat. Das Hotel liegt schon relativ hoch in Kamloops. Der Columbia Lookout liegt direkt beim Hotel und man hat von hier eine schöne Aussicht. Die Zimmer haben in dem Gebäude alle schräge Rückwände, so dass jedes einen idealen Blick ins Tal und zum Thomsen River hat. Einen Kaffee und einen Muffin bekommt man, frühstücken muss und sollte man woanders.

Zimmer war ok.

The front desk staff were nice.

Pool was down which defeated the reason of why we booked. There was a rotten garbage smell lingering in the air. Which I can only assume is coming from the giant garbage bins just sitting outside the rooms and garbage coming from the Indian restaurant next door. That smell was permeating our room and we kept thinking something had died.

The rooms were big enough for three people, it was clean, quite and comfortable.

There was a lack of silverware and cups etc , however I sent this to the receptionist hoping that they take care of that. No lift available.

I'm not really like the property the hotel will soon fall apart. The stair staircase was not safe and birds shit everywhere. Even the hotel room feels like on a boat. The bathtub had hair sticking onto and little bugs everywhere

The location was in the office. Very cramped with only one table. It was ridiculous! The breakfast itself was just ok.

Booked here because it had an outdoor pool. The pool was so dirty, you could not see the bottom & the filter system was not running. Did not go in of course. This is how people get sick. The TV was not working & we had no way of contacting the front deck on the phone they had. So no TV & no swim.

Das Zimmer war riesig und die Betten ausgesprochen bequem – perfekt für eine erholsame Nacht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch für ein Motel: Muffins, Pancakes aus der Maschine, Joghurt, Müsli im Tütchen, Kaffee und kleine Saftpäckchen. Einfach, aber völlig ausreichend für einen guten Start in den Tag.

We only stayed for a night as we were traveling in between locations and needed a place to rest. The breakfast was definitely a treat; while it is a basic one, it was more than sufficient for us since we can take it away for our early trip. I also find the price very economical and is a good way to balance the rather super expensive rooms in other places during our 2 week travel on the west side of Canada.

Some of us find the room stuffy (note that this might be due to forest fire smoke coming to this area around the time of our stay) and the bed uncomfortable; the noise from the coffee machine was too loud so not nice when you are sharing the room with 5 people as it disturbs their sleep. Would recommend it for a day but would not stay longer.

Tutto benissimo, siamo arrivati con molto anticipo, lo staff ha fatto si è attivato immediatamente e ci ha trovatato una camera.

I drove 4 hours to reach this hotel, I had a reservation fully pre-paid and non-refundable through booking.com. When I arrived I was denied check-in and told to find somewhere else to stay. Prior to making the booking, I asked google which hotels in Kamloops allow payment with VISA debit (for people without credit cards) and it suggested the Vista Inn as one of the only options. Nevertheless they denied check in because they don't accept VISA debit.

It’s obviously had a makeover that is trying to disguise the fact that it is really a tired and cheap motel. The worst thing is that our bathroom stinks of cigarette smoke that is coming through the vents. The hotel is meant to be non smoking, but people are obviously doing it in the bathrooms and it is travelling through the vents. Disgusting.

Ha la classica struttura dei motel americani ma i proprietari si sono impegnati per valorizzare tutto al massimo. La tinteggiatura, le stampe decorative, vari gadget a partire dalle chiavi delle stanze. Nelle camere ci sono 2 comodissimi letti king size, una macchina da caffè Nespresso con cialde. Hanno messo una piccola piscina nel piazzale, con sedie e lettini e asciugamani ad hoc. La mattina alla reception servono una generosa colazione con cose fresche

Decent swimming pool for the kids. I wasn’t expecting much for the breakfast after reading previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised.

The bedsheet wasn’t clean but this was sorted when we reported it.

Prima hotel, zeker voor een tussenstop bij een rondreis door Canada. Kamer was netjes en ruim en voorzieningen zeker voldoende. Buitenzwembad aanwezig. Voldoende parkeerplek.

Hotel ligt samen met aantal anderen aan de rand van de stad. Voor restaurants moet je dus even flink lopen of de auto nemen. Geen lift aanwezig en dat kan voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn een probleem zijn

We were in a room near the Indian restaurant and the smells were over powering. Every move the guest upstairs made you could hear and they were not noisy people.

Breakfast wasnt available when we had to leave in the mornings. The AC unit in the room needs to be cleaned, the filters had a thick layer of dust/dirty build up. There was a large gap under the main door jamb (not sure if it was missing the door sweep), but the smoke was bad when we stay and all we could smell was smoke in the room. I tried putting a towel against the door when we were in the room but didn’t help for the times when we weren’t in the room during the day.

I'm sorry to say that this accommodation was a disappointment this year. We stayed twice last year and once the year before and were quite surprised at the decline in customer service. When we checked in, the young lady didn't smile at all and I felt like I was inconveniencing her. We were in the building away from the reception area and were very surprised to learn that they 'decided' to discontinue having a working ice machine. . When it is 37 degrees and smokey, it was not pleasant to walk over to reception to get ice. I'm not sure why this inn made this decision. We found the staff (maids) very unfriendly. It's too bad because there are a lot of accommodations in Kamloops that are of equal value. There were shampoo and conditioner but no body lotion. Sadly, we won't stay here the next time we are in Kamloops.

Das Hotel liegt ideal für eine Übernachtung zwischen Vancouver und Jasper. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist sehr unkomplziert.
