The location was good, breakfast was good, except we waited a long time for the waitress and the food. A nice facility but the cost of the room is high. The staff was friendly and helpful. A clean space.

The cost per night we felt was a little high. The restaurant food was great but poorly staffed...service was slow, it took awhile to get our menus and our food.

Convenient , by the main road

Thin walls, woke up sooo early due to next room’s occupants. There were so many rooms available but they booked us next to each other.

Everything. During check in, front desk said they will charge $50 to card for preauthorisation. That charge became $250 sans acknowledgment on my end. Then a 2nd $50 charge came in thereafter. Verified with front desk and they said it’s supposed to be $50 per night. We had an original planned stay for 4 nights which equates to $200. But $300 was kept on hold by them. Room was dingy, extremely dark and had an air of an abandoned space. Bathtub was clogged and when we showered, we were half swimming naked in turbid water. We checked out after the 2nd night to move to a different hotel. During check out, staff on front desk was unable to find the $250 pre authorisation that her colleague did and had to do a 3rd charge and then refund the charge. She had no issues reversing the $50 charge though. The staff then said I had to call my card provider to sort out the pre authorisation they did. It resulted in time wasted and made the hotel’s experience even more unpleasant. As a paying customer, fixing the hotel’s staff inefficiency was apparently part of a guest’s experience. For the cost of Prestige, better value can be find elsewhere without requiring your blood pressure to hit boiling point.

Good restaurants good location

The room I had in the train locomotive would physically shake and wake you up as trains went by beside every hour all night. I requested another room (this was the highest price room) I asked for even their cheapest room to be able to sleep the next night and ended up when two sleepless nights nothing to compensate at all for my itinerary. I have never complained about a hotel in my life before for context and I’m a genius 3

Friendly staff let me have a late checkout which enabled a shower after a morning bike ride. Large room. Liked table and comfy chairs.

Convenient location on Higway 3 on entrance to Cranbrook. Very quiet despite its location between highway and low traffic train tracks.

The hotel was a bit loud. I was surprised at how little train noise could be heard, while at the same time, could hear the adjacent room noises quite clearly.

The employees were so welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

This property would have got a close to perfect score but when we went to the gym (which was really well equipped) there was an odor almost as if they had air fresheners plugged into the wall which if you are sensitive to smells this was not great! When I asked front desk staff they said maintenance was going to check this out but never heard back from them as to what the problem was

There were kids running up and down hall on our floor and slamming the doors repeatedly after we went to bed and I had to get up and tell them to stop. They stopped running but continued slamming the doors. The sheets were not comfortable and the rooms were old.

The room was clean and the service/staff at the hotel was great. We also used the hot tub/pool, which was clean and a nice amenity to use.

I found this hotel to be a little pricey for what it has to offer. There are no robes to wear to the pool/hot tub, no breakfast, and no coffee/tea in the room. We ate at the pub attached to the restaurant for dinner the night of arrival, the food was ok and the waitress was terrible. I had to ask for cutlery from out waitress, which she dropped off (like our food) without talking to us or asking us if we needed anything more. I then had to ask the bartender for ketchup, napkins etc.

It was very disorganized between Expedia’s online reservations and the information they had at the front desk. Do better! Next time, I’ll pay extra and book through the hotel, saving myself a lot of time. Expedia needs to give better updated information to the hotel.

I did not like how this property dealt with 3rd party bookings. It was very disorganized and difficult for them. They couldn’t find records and were always questioning whether I paid or not. If you are going to accept 3rd party bookings through another site, get organized and don’t make me feel like I did something wrong.

Lovely, clean quiet and pretty hotel! Comfy beds. Pool was great, and both the coffee shop and the hotel restaurant had very good food with great service. Pesto pizza was the best!! I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Cranbrook. I like to walk, and it was a short walk to the Saturday farmers market. Great experience in Cranbrook.

Loved our stay. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The rooms were very clean. Also ate at the restaurant and cafe. Highly recommend. Easy parking. We will stay here again.

Spacious room and it wasn't too loud like most other hotels. I liked the fact that there was a restaurant, cafe and brewhouse all at attached. The gym looked amazing.

Hole in the ceiling in the hallway right outside of our room. At least thats a sign that maintenance is being done though. The stairwell looked to me like it hadn't been vacuumed the whole time we were there, but maybe it's only done once per week. Most people take the elevator.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, great restaurant and bar onsite and a very clean pool to end the day with a swim! Highly recommend!

Our room smelled to cigarette and the carpet had burn stains

We had an ant infestation in our room. They moved us to a different room but the quality of this room was less. Stained carpet and the beds were less than desirable.
