Mercure Resort Sanur

The main pool was great, and it is a lovely resort. Wheelchair accessable and good location next to beach. The gardens and plants are amazing - Angelique the Cow was a bonus.

We booked two rooms, my friends was okay but mine (room 153) was not. In hindsight I regret not speaking up. After 4 nights the mould and smell started to make me sick. This room needs a bleach bomb and new toilet. For the price $160/night I expect more. Breakfast on the first day everything was cold (went early at 7aM) only tried once more,as staff said only one breakfast per room but next time at a later time it was warm.

Spacious and comfortable rooms, a vast beach and plenty of space

The room was clean. The breakfast was average but OK. Two pools and beach are good.

If you like the quiet part of Sanur , the path is great. The gardens are lovely. The staff are very friendly but do not understand, when we asked for cleaner towels.

This resort really needs an overhaul. The linen sheets and towels are grey and old. The bathrooms need a good scrub. The outdoor furniture is very old and airers are mouldy or non existent. The executive patios are small and not cleaned or swept, very dusty, couldn’t sit on them. Considering it is a teaching hotel, they are unfortunately not getting it right🥲 Walking past kitchen had very bad sewerage smell every night. I guess you get what you pay for.

У большого бассейна -навес из красивейших бугенвиллий над шезлонгами. Пляж тут же рядом и набережная тротуар, по которому можно гулять вдоль моря или взять в отеле в аренду велосипеды и кататься, вдоль набережной разнообразные кафе с живой музыкой по вечерам и без. Номера в отеле чистые, аккуратные, все необходимое есть. На завтраках разный ассортимент еды, и фрукты, и вкусняшки к чаю- каждый найдет на свой вкус. Персонал отеля очень доброжелательный, внимательно относятся к запросам постояльцев. Достаточно обратиться с вопросом на ресепшн - реагируют сразу. Особое спасибо менеджеру Брайану, с вниманием и заботой отнесся к нам при нашем очень раннем прибытии в отель. Предоставил нам все необходимое для комфортного пребывания в отеле до момента нашего заселения. Искренне рекомендуем этот отель для комфортного приятного времяпровождения в отпуске.

L'emplacement à Sanur est parfait, la vue sur la mer, les promenades sur le sentier piéton ombragé, le centre commercial Icon a 3 km a pied par la plage est une belle ballade ! Le style balinais du Mercure apprécié, ĺes jardins magnifiques, le petit dejeuner est complet. Le personnel adorable. Je recommande.

Besoin de rénovation, l ' ensemble est un peu vétuste!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – A Wonderful Stay at Mercure Resort Sanur We stayed at Mercure Resort Sanur for four nights with our family, with two rooms next to each other, and we had an absolutely lovely time. The resort is gorgeous, with beautiful, well-maintained tropical gardens, two large swimming pools, and a wonderful atmosphere throughout. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and almost every interaction came with a smile. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. One of the things we particularly loved was the peaceful location right on the beach. There are plenty of sun loungers both around the pools and on the beach, so there is no need to get up early or fight for a place to sit. The beach bar is another great touch, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The resort really does have everything you need for a relaxing stay in Sanur. It is quiet and beautifully landscaped, yet still conveniently located. We would definitely recommend Mercure Resort Sanur to anyone looking for a few relaxing nights in Sanur. We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back! 10/10.

Beach area and restaurants were fantastic Breakfast wasn’t included in our rate but I feel it should be included with all rooms .i have stayed in many budget motels who include breakfast Room was clean and comfortable but it does need a facelift also the outdoor terrace could have more comfortable furniture and could do with a facelift also.

Beautiful location, buildings and grounds The best feature of this hotel is the staff who are wonderful!! Sam, guest service manager looked after our every detail.

De locatie super mooi strand.

Mensen boven mij maakte veel herrie. Daar kan mercure niks aan doen. Kinderen zijn eenmaal vroeg wakker.

The location was amazing but mecure feels so run down.

The place is run down and needs a lot of repair tiles falling off the pool and the rooms are very dark. The breakfast was nothing special The staff are lovely

Hotel jest położony w przepięknym miejscu z dużą ilością zieleni. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna, bez żadnego problemu przedłużono pokój nam do wyjazdu na lotnisko. Nasze 24 dni w hotel upłyneły bardzpo miło. Jedyny minus to odpływy w oceanie. Bardzo polecam to hotel.

We had a big room on the ground floor with a nice garden area. Bathroom very big but a bit dated. We even had a coffee machine in the room. Bed comfortable. Pool very nice, we always had a sunlounge in the shade. Lots of restaurants near by. Breakfast buffet very good but staff a bit slow. Beautiful gardens.

We ask for early check in but still had to wait for 2 hrs until 2.30pm. Went to the bar to have drinks while waiting, staff not very attentive there just standing around doing nothing. We had to ask for drinks.

Excellent séjour. Personnel et manager aux petits soins. Nous avons également séjourné au début du mois d'août et avons déjà posté un commentaire. Très bon souvenir de ces deux séjours.

Rien à dire

Un grand merci au Mercure pour notre séjour qui s'est très bien passé. Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits au Mercure au début de notre voyage à Bali ainsi que 4 nuits à la fin. Très bon accueil avec une personne qui nous a parlé en français. Merci pour cet effort. Nos chambres étaient très agréables et représentent bien Bali. Ce ne sont pas de grands immeubles mais des groupes de 4 chambres réparties dans les parcs. On se sent au milieu de la nature tout en étant proche de Sanur. On a aussi apprécié l'accès direct à la plage. Nous tenons à remercier infiniment le manager qui a si bien géré le fait qu'on a dû être relogés dans un hôtel voisin lors d'un problème de maintenance qui ne permettait pas de nous loger au Mercure le 24 août. Nous avons été parfaitement accompagnés. L'hôtel de remplacement était de très bonne qualité et à notre retour au Mercure nous avons été surclassés. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour Balinais.

The grounds and pool are lovely, beautiful by the beach. As always the Bali staff are very caring.

The rooms really need a makeover, we could see repairs have been covered by tape then painted over, the shower head was in the corner of the shower so you had to stand by the wall, at least there was nice hot water, the bed was comfy and we did sleep well, until the cleaners started in above rooms it was like a herd of Elephants up there! Lovely to come back to the room and see towel animals on the bed 😍 Its sad as the property is relying on location to bring in the clientele when infact the rooms do a lot for those on holidays too. I had breakfast once only as the omelette I ordered was only partially cooked , never went back again . I thought the menu was a bit boring as I did try a few things from it and flavour was lacking from the food , we had better food from the wurangs outside the Prama hotel.

The location was ok. Staff were really nice and friendly.

The resort is extremely outdated. The breakfast was quite basic by resort standards. Our room was very ordinary. We were locked out twice and eventually the mechanism was fixed. I don't like to be negative, but in this case, the owners have completely neglected the resort....and it shows!

Sadly we were early so we thought go to front bar to wait a number of things on the menu they didn’t have eg spring rolls

We were told they would text us when room ready didn’t get notified worse we were sitting in reception it was only when I went again for third time they said oh room has been ready for awhile and told luggage in room then it wasn’t waited and then went back on got it.

Rooms are dated and staff do not clean properly Complaints were not dealt with inspite of been reported several times. These were all related to housekeeping. On checkout we reported our dissatisfaction and the Guest service gentleman apologised and offered us free transport to the airport.

Has Balinese low rise feel. Gardens fabulous and good facilites although are somewhat tired now.

Definitely needs renovating of many rooms. Over the years have stayed in all types of rooms at Mercure mainly the Executive type and need a refresh.

Had a fabulous massage at their spa. Plenty of sun lounges in the shade.

There were lots of people in the main pool so the water wasn’t very clear by the afternoon.

Situated right at the end of the boardwalk away from the crowds. Beautiful gardens, spacious and so very peaceful.

The room was a bit dated and because of that the bathroom needed a bit more attention and scrubbing.

The staff were very good. Having a warm pool. Spread out through garden.

It needs TLC. Very old and tired. Our first room was awful. We upgraded to an executive room which was spacious. The gardens particularly the lawns were dying for a drink of water. Parts need to be bulldozed.

Environment

The staff were great and they had a clinic within the resort which I had to use, good restaurants around the location.

The beds were hard and the sound proofing is poor so very noisy when trying to sleep. A lot of families with children who dominated the pool.

Everything was excellent. Comfortable, clean and a great location. Breakfast was an interesting blend of Asian and European . Plenty of options and pork bacon was available on asking.

The sun-beds around the pool need monitoring as many were unattended but had towels and books on them for hours. Luckily you have two pools to choose from and the beach has plenty of sunbeds too. It’s just a selfish culture that needs to be addressed as it is in other hotels I’ve stayed in. No one there for an hour and towels are removed.

L'hotel est vraiment vieillot, les salles de bains pas terribles. Le pemier jour, nous avons attendu 45 minutes au restaurant avant qu'arrive un plat sur les deux commandés. Le personnel court dans tous les sens avec des plats sans savoir à quelle table ils vont, désorganisation totale.

The bed was a big disappointment. No where near an acceptable standard for a 5 star hotel in 2026. Old hard and warm out with no pillow top.

Pools are small for a large hotel with lots of guests. Beach lounges are littered with hundreds of cigarette butts.

The pool areas are really nice. Location is great - right on the beachfront. Staff are lovely also. The kids play area under reception was a hit for my 5 and 6 year old.

Rooms are very tired and dated. Dogs ate our food on the beachfront. Beware of the dogs.

The location right beside the sea and beautiful peaceful yellow sand beach and very close to walk besides the sea, restaurants and shops. Also tge set up of the resort very quiet and lots of green. Close to the airport as well. Service was excellent the staff were very nice and helpful.

Only small thing was the food at the Saturday buffet (optional). The show was really enjoyable though.

Location is magnificent

Our rooms were 187 (twin ground floor) & 290 (king first floor) which were close to the large pool and a short walk to the Restaurant and Beach Bar. We had to pay for breakfast but it was very substantial and would suit all tastes. We loved the variety - egg & pancake station as you would expect from a Hotel of this calibre. Being so close to the beach and all that South Sanur has to offer was a bonus. The swimming pools and their locations were so nice. We loved the grounds that are so well looked after and the trees that were labelled - very nice touch!

My sister & niece's room seemed slightly run down in comparison to mine. If you have mobility issues you should ask for a room on the ground floor and be aware of your location within the grounds of the Mecure (it is a very large property). We had an issue with the price of our breakfast but the matter was soon resolved.

Eine schöne weitläufige und grüne Anlage. Ein sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Beim Frühstücksbuffet ist für Jeden was dabei. Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Strand ist sehr schön, weitläufig und ebenfalls sauber.

Very outdated rooms, broken furniture, toilet roll holders/ towel racks missing or broken. Inside chairs either had no cushions or disgusting filthy ones. They really need to spend some money on the rooms and fixing the place up
