Taksu Sanur Hotel

Great location for shopping and the beach was very close. The dining and pool area were lovely and relaxing. The staff were exceptional - so many to remember however April was a stand out. Always friendly and wanting to help you. We had a had a wonderful stay.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. The room was big and spacious. Breakfast was served buffet-style.

The only thing that wasn’t suitable for us is that the room we get didn’t have a balcony, so there was no space to dry our swimsuits and towels.

場所柄仕方ないかも知れませんが室内がジメジメ。シーツも湿っぽくて、あと4泊しましたが毎晩寝てる間あちこち痒かった。シャワーの水圧が低くて温水量が少なく30度ぐらいの温水が数分出た後はすぐに水になってしまいます。

Helaas een erg slechte ervaring bij Taksu. De kamers zijn extreem gehorig. De deuren sluiten niet goed, waardoor je letterlijk alles op de gang hoort en ruikt. Ik heb uiteindelijk met oordopjes moeten slapen. De airco lekte en zorgde voor een waterplas midden in de kamer. De badkamer was slecht onderhouden, met donkere/schimmelachtige aanslag in de voegen, vochtplekken en veel kalkaanslag. Foto’s spreken voor zich. Daarnaast was de lift steeds kapot. Onze kamer zat op de vierde verdieping, dus iedere keer weer met de trap omhoog en bezweet je kamer binnenkomen. De enige reden dat ik een 2 geef in plaats van een 1 is het vriendelijke personeel buiten de receptie. De man die onze koffers hielp dragen heeft ze zelfs helemaal naar de vierde verdieping gebracht, waarvoor dank. De medewerkers achter de receptie kwamen daarentegen arrogant en totaal ongeïnteresseerd over. Voor mij absoluut geen aanrader. Zonde van je tijd en geld; er zijn genoeg betere hotels

The hotel was in a good location, restaurants/warungs nearby and a short walk to the beach. Great buffet breakfast with egg station. Pool area was nice with some pool toys available to use. Staff were lovely and the welcome for our anniversary was much appreciated.

This was the third time in a yearly row that we have stayed in Taksu Sanur. A beautiful and good hotel. Sanur still relatively quiet, with a beautiful beach nearby.

Loved the huge pool and surrounding areas such as the bar, and available sitting and lounging setting. The staff were amazing from the reception staff to cleaning, bar and restaurant staff. At all times friendly, engaging and genuinely interested in what people have to say. One particular staff member Aprilia couldn't do enough for us and other guests. Overall the bar staff and porters were amazing their recall of guest names and greetings made it even more special. The breakfast is superb including many Indonesian and western choices and the food available whether dining in the restaurant or room service was exceptional flavors, presentation and taste. Surprised at the prices for food, drinks and cocktails as they were so affordable and not over the top like some places.

We didn't like leaving, just wish we could have stayed longer.

Room was spacious & the pool view was great. Overall the facilities were clean & good.

Toilet drainage was a little clogged & flush button needed some maintenance.

The surrounding footpaths in the neighbourhood are narrow and uneven and can be dangerous to navigate. Unfortunately this is a common problem in Bali.

The hotel is in a really good location, walking distance to the beach and to good restaurants. The pool area is child friendly which we really appreciated, it's a good option for families! Lots of sunbeds, although people do claim them in the morning, we always managed to find one. Although we didn't dine at the restaurant it is set out quite beautifully in the evening. The aircon worked really well in the room and we appreciated the cover on it to keep the room dark for the toddler at night. We had a ground floor room which was really easy and accessible with a toddler. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast had okay options, i appreciated the sourdough and made to order eggs.

The sheets and the mattress protector weren't the comfiest. I think for the price you pay these could be upgraded. The room lighting was quite dark and didn't make staying in the room that appealing. Our sliding door to the balcony didn't lock it just popped open which was a bit worrying too.

Food was maybe a bit overpriced for the quality

We stayed recently and we loved the staff, particularly Mirah, Yogi and Pati. They made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated anything. The rooms were large, great big verandahs, soft beds and wonderfully comfortable pillows. The pool was lovely and clean as well as cool.

As to 60 year olds, we want quiet where we stay and there was often music near the pool, which takes away from reading in peace, and a few nights had music at the bar as well. A good musician, but when you want to lay back in your room and have down time, it was quite loud until 10 or 11 pm.

Bed was hard for our liking, door lock didnt work. Didn't like the fact that guests was reserving the pool lounging chairs by putting a towel down on the lounge chairs first thing in the morning and not actically physically be there using them?.

Dont go to level 5, its a dirty store room and not blocked off. Haha. The air-conditioning was very loud.

Fijne locatie in rustige straat maar in de buurt van het strand, winkels en restaurants. Sfeervolle ruimte met restaurant en zwembad ernaast. Ruime kamer.

De douche bleef 5 minuten goed warm en werd lauw. Dit gebeurde elke keer, alsof dit zo ingesteld was.

breakfast was a highlight , great selection of freshly prepared food and dishes . The staff were exceptional always happy and accomodating. We had a ground floor room which was perfect for us with a balcony . It was a big room with lots of space . Bathroom was adequate .Gardens were well maintained and in bloom . really pretty . for us the bed was terribly uncomfortable and hard , and the pillows were not plush . i had to ask for additional as there were originally only two i have a back and neck issue so this is important to me . there also wasn’t a throw blanket if it got cool ,which it did with the air con on during the night . the wooden furnishings were nice but in need of restoration they were very marked and stained , which makes you think they are dirty . They weren’t, just well worn

The pool is beautiful and the breakfast and all meals were very enjoyable. Also loved the guitar playing by the pool in the evening.

Spacious rooms with all amenities included. Delicious buffet style breakfast with Western and Balinese options. Located in the heart of Sanur and within walking distance to the beach.

Lighting in rooms were dark. Rooms were a bit outdated. Pool area was quite crowded at all times.

Location was good, 10 minute walk and you were in the heart of restaurants/shops and the beach. Room was very spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. I went for some treatments at the on-site spa which were excellent and good value for money.

Pool area was quite small and nearing 5 o'clock if any sunbeds weren't being used the staff started to clear them away so we would use the chairs if available.

The hotel was very nice, and had two incredible onsite restaurants (the sushi restaurant was my favourite)

It's a nice hotel, very clean and we'll located although it's more of a 3 star hotel rather than 4. The breakfast is decent but we chose to eat out instead most days. The room is large and clean. They have nice live music at night and dances but they very much pressure you to eat there. Overall it's good if you want a nice place to sleep and not use the facilities.

The pool was much smaller than we thought and could never find a chair and lots of kids yelling. To go to the beach you needed to book in advance for a seat and pay a deposit.

Lovely place. The staff were lovely and inviting.

We arrived at 10:30pm and they told us the kitchen closed at 11pm but was already closed. Nothing in the area was open so we weren't able to get food. The area was really noisy as well, which made it hard to sleep. The pillows were horrible to sleep on.

We stayed with our 2 kids for 2 nights, and it was a great last stop of our holiday before going home. Everything super well arranged, amazing breakfast with a lot of variation. Big pool with toys, large and clean room, great location to discover Sanur. Big shoutout to the staff for being so friendly, helpful and personal. And an extra shoutout to ms Antari, who’s personal conversations in the morning make the biggest difference from being just a hotel, to a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Such a wonderful hotel where everything was excellent – both the hotel’s facilities and its own restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and a special thank you to the lovely Aprilla, who was so attentive and always provided outstanding service. It was a pleasure to be served by her every single time – she was quick, attentive, friendly, and spoke excellent English. We truly had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel!
