Spa
The darkness outside need more lights
The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The pool was excellent at the perfect temperature. The hotel was just the right size. Gardens were lovely and seating area was perfect to sit outside at night. The hotel had a relaxing feel to it. The receptionist staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome the staff at breakfast were very kind too.
No air condition in our room. Tv had a poor connection took a while to work. I felt some area were a bit shabby looking. Young girl working at night could look a lit happier at her work this was off putting whilst being served by her.
Nice rooms - nice spa and pool area ..food was ok not great
The outdoor patio area and the pool area
The hotel and environment scenery ground are beautiful...staff are helpful friendly .the spa is lovely changing room spotless the lady was amazing at keeping the place clean. Pool was lovely to ! The hole environment is stunning! Breakfast was nice apart from not enough food served for buffa emty for new arrival for breakfast had to wait long time for fresh food to be served. Apart from that food was nice when it eventually arrived. Restaurant food was good standard staff contented and polite.
I requested for a quiet room before I arrived as I needed real tranquility and rest the room was nice apart from the light was out above the desk quite dark....and the first nite the room next door decided to have a disco in the room loud music I was so angry and upset as I payed all this money for a restful weekend I immediately notified the receptionist as it is no falt of the receptionist she sas very apologetic and reassured me she would let the manager...know ,but the noise persisded till 12.30am I could not even relax this is bad management as this should not even be aloud at a relaxation spa hotel defeat s the hole objected I wanted a stress free weekend...the receptionist ask to up grade me but that totally defeat s the object of stress free as I was already settled in my room plus I was not staying long. It's a shame as I been here before and was very happy and now having experienced this ordeal I will not recommend for total relaxation. As I think standers have dropped.!!
Came here for an early pre birthday treat. Incredible staff, beautiful grounds and facilities. The most relaxing Spa I’ve visited so far in the UK! Highest calibre of fine dining and I’ve tried fine dining in America and Barcelona and Paris. The food was exquisite! Grace, Stevie, Chloe were amazing! The bar staff and fine dining staff were super attentive and charming too! The bedroom was lovely and the mattress was perfect. Lovely view of a field of horses. Spa treatment must! Fell asleep!highly recommend and have already rebooked and shall be returning for my actual birthday later this year! Have also recommended to family and a colleague too! Lovely grounds to walk in too with a little bridge and pond and lovely horses in the neighbouring field.
A couple of guests made me feel uncomfortable for wearing my spa robe whilst trying to enjoy lunch but the staff were amazing, empathetic and reassuring so couldn’t fault my stay at all. One thing in the room, the bath hot water was scalding. Perhaps consider putting a caution hot sign for the bath as well as sink? One spoke missing from where you turn the cold tap on the bathroom sink but apart from this, you couldn’t fault the room! Beautiful stay in every way!
I booked an overnight stay with the Glow Getaway package for my sister’s 60th Birthday. We had a fantastic time, room, spa, treatments and food all wonderful. A bit disappointed that breakfast is buffet style, as I always find the hot food warm, but there was quite a large selection of other things. Staff were friendly and attentive. It is a little more expensive than I’d like, but I definitely would go back when funds allow! Thank you Rowhill for making our stay so special 🙂
The hotel was beautiful, the eating arrangements were both lovely. Beautifully decorated spa too. The hotel was very clean and well kept
The rooms were a little outdated and small, the hotel was nice but the rooms need updating. There wasn’t any USB charging ports, couldn’t get Netflix on the TV.
The breakfast was great! Room service was on time. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious The swimming pools were the best part of my stay. Great pools!
There should be a set of slippers and robe in the rooms when you check in. You shouldn't have to go looking for them, it is a spa after all. The room was slightly warm even though there was a fan. The hot water in the shower wasn't working so had to take a cold shower. It felt like there was no privacy at reception, everyone can hear your conversation.
The cost for a room is high but we thought ok it’s a spa hotel. Then when we checked in they asked for another £20 each to use the spa and pool , not a good start. The restaurant was basic as was the menus (Lots of flies). The room had no usb socket ,there was no curtains so 4.45 am it was light in the room the breakfast had butter on the table but open so flies could sit on it , the breakfast was ok. The meal in the restaurant was average at best The shower wouldn’t run away so we had to take the cup out of the waste so we could shower the bedroom doors dont close quietly There was a small amount of mould on the bathroom walls and the wall paper was coming off in a few places
Location
Carpets in chrysanthemum were dirty. No fridge. No charging points for mobile usb c. Spa floor dirty .. put robe on lounger and as it touched floor lightly it left a lot of dirt marks on robe. No info on how to use lockers beside lockers
Did a review via their email but completely messed up and want to set the record straight. Our stay was lovely. Been twice now and all members of staff are friendly and helpful. Every aspect was brilliant. I noticed a few complaints on here about flies. Yeah, we experienced that too, but its UK summer, flies are a given. They weren't that bad. Some complaints about no air con, there are fans in the rooms. The hotel is lovely and comfortable and the food is always tasty. Would 100% recommend.
The bed, we were upgraded to a king size room, which was the only good thing
No air con in rooms , not enough beverages in room. Tv kept cutting out
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The interior and exterior were gorgeous. It was £20PP per night to use the spa which wasn’t unreasonable.
It could sometimes take a little while to get a drink however it wasn’t an issue and if I had to complain about anything, it would be this …
Very cool and quite place to relax
Everything
Nothing
Amazing 3 night stay with my sister. Beautiful room, delicious food and excellent staff who went over and above to make our stay feel special. We had several treatments and made use of all the spa facilities. RG is in a lovely setting, we went for a walk every evening.
We will be booking again, All the staff was so welcoming friend and helpful. The room was amazing. It was nice and peaceful and lovely and relaxing.
The rooms were a nice size and shower was perfect, spa was amazing
There is nothing I didn’t like
I chose Rowhill Grange to celebrate my Husbands surprise 80th Birthday, with 18 of our friends. The events team and specifically Grace, we’re brilliant from the start. All my requirements were noted and carried out to perfection. I had 20 guests staying overnight at the hotel with a diner on the first evening. Every member of staff on duty were wonderful, they kept the secret and looked after us extremely well. My husband was truly shocked when he walked into the sitting room and saw all his friends there. It is an event none of us will forget and which was made possible by the fantastic team at Rowhill Grange. ,
Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay. The hotel seems rather dated. We were surprised there was no aircon in the rooms and it was too hot. Only 1 key avaliable but 2 adults. Junior suite yet the bed was tiny. No offer of help with all our luggage. No room fridge for cold water. Mouldy uht milk and so couldn't even have a coffee in the morning. Poor access to the hotel for pram as so many steps. There is a side entrance which is up the steep hill and through the spa so not ideal. Lift inside is fine but small. Nice size bathroom. Food was ok, but too much dressing on the salad and a flat soda water. Wouldn't go back.
Following my previous review, I wanted to update it after Tim, the manager, kindly invited us back for another stay. I have to say, the difference was night and day. Tim took the time to listen to our concerns, acknowledged where things had gone wrong during our previous visit, and clearly made every effort to ensure we had the experience we had originally hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, friendly and professional. The room was spotless, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere reminded us why we had enjoyed staying at Rowhill Grange so many times in the past. It’s easy to write a negative review when things go wrong, but I think it’s equally important to recognise when a business genuinely takes feedback on board and puts things right. Tim deserves a lot of credit for how he handled the situation. Rather than making excuses, he took ownership, restored our confidence in the hotel and showed exactly what good customer service should look like. Thank you to Tim and the team for giving us a much more enjoyable experience. We really appreciated the effort that went into making our return visit such a positive one, and we’re pleased to say we’ll be happy to return again in the future.
We had a really lovely spa day here last Friday. All the staff we encountered were really lovely and friendly. Our waitress Keren (I think that how you spell it) was so lovely and good fun. Lunch was really good! We all agreed our treatment was so nice, so thank you to Bronte (who looked after me). The relaxation room was such a treat! For the money we paid we all agreed it was money well spent. Thank you so all the lovely staff.
We had our wedding last Friday at Rowhill Grange. Just wow! Emilia was absolutely brilliant at organising our day for us and it was completely stress free. We had a twilight package which was tweaked for our particular requirements and was exactly how we wanted it. All of the staff were just amazing we couldn't have asked for more. All our guests said what a wonderful wedding it was. From the waiting and bar staff, to Steve who was perfect at ensuring everything ran smoothly for us. Jonno played fantastic music in the evening, to the point people were saying they were aching the next day from so much dancing!. The food was delicious, for both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet. Highly recommended the day was beyond how we had dreamed it would be. Just perfect.
All the facilities and room albeit the room was perhaps looking a bit 'tired' The service was absolutely fantastic. My wife badly sprained her angle (genuine freak accident and no fault of the hotel!) and the staff were so so helpful and understanding particularly those at the breakfast service ana gentelmen who gave us some ice later on the Saturday night to help reduce the swelling.
To provide full honest feed back and not meaning to be picky the bacon was so overcooked at breakfast it was inedible.
Very modern with a bit of character
No AC
I travelled from Vancouver Island,BC Canada and stayed at Rowland Grange for a week after traveling to the area for a last-minute family event, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel provided everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with the added bonus of a full spa for some well-deserved pampering. The staff were courteous, proactive, accommodating, and knowledgeable, always going out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The buffet breakfast offered a great variety of options and was the perfect way to start each day. I also thoroughly enjoyed the menu at the Elements Bar, where the food was consistently delicious. I did not eat dinner in the main Restaurant but the menu looked delicious. I would happily recommend Rowland Grange to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and amenities.
Afternoon tea. Today had a really poor sub standard afternoon tea. Food was mediocre, service poor, flies everywhere (we were inside) landing in food and drinks. Staff seemed bored, not friendly and had to ask for drinks, and for table to be cleared. Mentioned flies but they simply didn’t care. It was also boiling hot but no fans or air on. This is such a nice venue but have to say it had gone downhill in standards and is a bit shabby now. Been here lots of times over the years but that will be the last visit. Shame.
We stayed here as a couple on August 20th 2025. The spa facilities were very clean, and had a unique atmosphere to it. We really enjoyed the spa and the various pool options. We also had dinner here and the service from the staff was amazing, they catered to all of our needs in a professional manner, they were friendly, warm and were very welcoming. We had an amazing evening. The food was delicious. The room we stayed in was perfect, with a clean and comfortable bed. The view looked out to the grounds in front of the hotel which was really nice, it gave us a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is in a quiet area, which is always appreciated for a nice restful stay. Overall, our stay here was wonderful as the staff at Rowhill Grange made it magical.
Fabulous hotel with comfy beds, great restaurant and friendly and attentive staff.
I had a massage with Sophie during my stay at Rowhill Grange and she was absolutely excellent. What stood out immediately was how well she reads the person in front of her. She knew when to chat, when to let the room go quiet, and when to simply pause and listen. Nothing ever felt forced or scripted. The massage itself was strong, thorough and genuinely skilled. You can feel the difference that seventeen years of experience makes. But what makes Sophie special is that the technical skill comes with real warmth, empathy and care. You never feel like just another appointment in the schedule; she is genuinely paying attention to the person in front of her. I left feeling properly looked after and would recommend her without hesitation. Five stars, comfortably earned.
Everything - fantastic place to stay and very good for the price
Nothing to report
When giving customers keys for the outdoor accommodation and unaccompanied access, please tell them that whilst the key says Scotney the room is actually located in The Mews building, saves customers wandering the depths of the development looking for something they will never find, especially at 11pm. In addition the bed sheets smelt musty and not freshly laundered.
We had our wedding recently at rowhill grange and then added another night at the hotel and spa. I have to say the staff and hotel went above and beyond for us and our family from start all the way to the end. They made our wedding day magical and stress free as much as possible. The hotel and grounds just beautiful and the spa and restaurant are amazing. I would recommend to anyone thinking of having a wedding or spa stay to definitely come to Rowhill. We will definitely be coming back soon .
Friendly staff, good location and nice public areas to sit outside
Restaurant meal was really awful, go out, don’t eat in for dinner (breakfast was fine though)
We just returned from a wonderful stay here to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel special right away. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. A few highlights from our trip: -The Food: We had a fantastic dinner celebrating our special occasion—the meal was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. -The Spa: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the spa. It was the perfect, relaxing escape we were looking for. If you are looking for a lovely, clean, and welcoming place to unwind or celebrate a milestone, we cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely be back!
If you're looking for a high-end, luxury spa experience, this might fall a bit short. The facilities are perfectly nice but pretty small and lack a premium feel. Another downside is that they don’t give you your treatment time slot until arrival, which feels a bit disorganised. Lunch was also uninspiring with a very limited menu (I ended up with a salad followed by a salad). The saving grace was the treatment, which was genuinely excellent. While we had a nice day overall, the price tag simply doesn't match the experience. Underwhelming for the cost.
This review is purely for the spa, not the hotel. We got the package (85 minutes of body & face treatment and lunch or afternoon tea), and while we had a perfectly nice time, the package is VERY expensive, and sadly not great value for money. We booked the package online and weren’t contacted by anyone to confirm arrangements. We called twice trying to confirm what time we could book our treatments for, only to be informed that we would find out on arrival. Oh, okay then. However then we were told we needed to choose whether we wanted lunch or afternoon tea now, because they have to make sure they have enough of each. If that’s the case… why didn’t someone contact us to confirm these details? So yeah, that all felt a bit clunky with too much effort put on the customer. The facilities are over hyped on the website, making it all sound a lot bigger and more exciting than it actually is. The swimming pool is tiny (maybe 15m long, if that?), the heated pool with various water jets is nice, except one of the jets wasn't working, and at one point I made the mistake of looking up at the ceiling where four extractor fans directly above the water have been gathering dirt and dust and grease for a very long time, which kinda ruined the fun of being in that pool. The steam room is small, but functional. The dry sauna is *minuscule*, with a heated element that isnt covered and seems dangerous in the *very* small space. The massage was excellent. The facial sadly was underwhelming, and unlike in most places where I have had facials, it didn’t leave me wanting to purchase any of the products that got used during the treatment. And being handed a piece of paper with a list of products and no further effort is fine, cause the sales pitch can be quite annoying sometimes, but in this case it mostly came across like no one cared much for the products that were being used, which doesnt fill one with confidence. The quiet room was fine. Two rows of loungers, a row of basket egg chairs, and a table with pyramid paper cups (pointed, so cannot he put down, but there also wasn’t an bin anywhere…) and a pitcher of tap water (not a cucumber slice in sight). Lunch consisted of two courses, choice of 3 starters and 3 mains, and more or less all six courses being ‘salad, with…’ We had a 30 minute drive home afterwards and as soon as we got in made ourselves something to eat. Being hungry after a two course lunch is far from ideal, and once again, the food was fine. Perfectly palatable, if mostly due to how bland it was. After we had been served our mains, and finished them, and sat around for 15 minutes with our finished plates in front of us… I decided to go up to the bar to find out if the 2 soft drinks we had with lunch was included in our almost £450 spa package, because we quite wanted to leave, but no one had come to clear our table, ask us if we wished for anything else, or asked us to pay. Turns out no, our two apple juices were not included in the £220 we paid for this spa break. And honestly that’s kind of the bottom line. Okay, there isnt much you can about the space. You can’t somehow fit an Olympic pool into the existing hotel grounds. But there are small things you can do that would make customers feel cared for and like they were getting a bit of a treat. Literally any spa facility I have been to, even the smallest and pretty cheap ones, offer water with some fruit in it. Is it necessary? No! Does it make you feel like you’ve arrived at a spa? Yes! Additionally most of them will also offer tea and some type of complimentary little snack foods in the relaxation area or the waiting area. This place did have a table with banana chips, apricots, and prunes. But it was opposite the manned reception desk, shunted into a corner, behind a pilot and next to the stair case, making it very easy to miss and also quite uncomfortable to get to and take things from. And again, paper pyramid cups, and no bins. Yes, paper is recyclable, but actual glasses can be washed and make you feel less like you’re giving a sample at the doctors. Robes and towels were provided for a deposit, however no flip flops. Again, not a huge deal, but receiving some type of flip flop style shoe is pretty standard, so not providing it should be made clear in the booking confirmation or pre-visit information (if such a thing existed). The staff were friendly enough on our arrival and welcoming us (to the spa, to the treatments, to the lunch), and as soon as whatever element they were in charge of had been delivered the staff immediately disappeared, with no follow up or additional friendly smiles or customer service. So yeah, in conclusion, we had a perfectly fine day, with absolutely no intention to ever come back, sadly.
To all of the team at Rowhill we would like to say a massive Thank you for all of your work to make our wedding day so perfect. All of the staff were amazing from start to finish, helping plan and execute all of our plans without any issues.. Nothing was too much and each and every staff member was an absolute credit to the business. So attentive and on the ball and took away any stress that may have been on the biggest day of our lives. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning too, we got very lucky with the weather so was fortunate enough to be married outside. All of our guests made very positive comments on both the venue and the staff which absolutely reflected our thoughts.. The perfect venue! Also the rooms associated with the venue were amazing.. Really clean and modern and so spacious and the cleaning staff were lovely and so helpful in moving cots and bedding for the kids. The breakfast buffet is also amazing.. The food was also great and so tasty, every single guest enjoyed a beautiful wedding breakfast. All in all Rowhill Grange was an unbelievable setting for such a beautiful day and we would not want to have done it anywhere else. If we could do it all again we would be back at Rowhill Grange in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making our dream come true. Love Shane & Jem xx
Stunning escape in the Kent countryside! Just spent 3 nights at Rowhill with a small work group and got to experience the beautiful gardens and historic rooms. Excellent customer service - quick to resolved issues and lovely staff Breakfast is wonderful! Rooms are generous in size and beds are very comfy. My bathroom had an odd shower arrangement with an open design that meant water rather flooded the bathroom but it was manageable. It was very hot (35degC) during our stay and the bedrooms don’t have AC - portable fans were provided in all the rooms which were adequate for most of us. The pool and spa is like a Roman Baths! It’s pretty popular with guests and locals. WiFi worked great throughout. The Pavilion meeting space did have AC and worked great for a group of ~20.
stuff was very helpful everybody was very nice.very nice and relaxing
Very nice hotel near where I needed to be
A little hard to find the entrance of the road more a sat nav issue I think
What a wonderful place! From the staff who made our stay exceptional, our room was perfect, the spa amazing and the food out of this world. For me it’s all about first impressions and our greeting when we arrived was so lovely, I would highly recommend.
The staff were amazing and very helpful. It was a lovely stay and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I had a complimentary upgrade which was so sweet and very grateful for. The shower was amazing in the room! I would definitely come back again :)
Very good customer service, but very over priced. Tea is unlimited (not tea leaves just tea bags) you can change your tea but tea menu is limited. Food refills all come at a cost. The menu on the website is not what we got which was disappointing. Sandwiches are ok nothing special, egg sandwich was very dry with barely any egg. Scones were quite dry. Cakes are nothing special, chocolate one was dry and lime flavour one was quite unpleasant.
My wife and I visited Rowhill Grange in June 26 for a weekend Spa break, opting for the Glow Getaway which included 2 nights accommodation, breakfast, £40 towards dinner both nights, and a 55 minute Spa treatment. Whilst the package wasn't cheap, it was competitively priced when benchmarked against alternatives. The hotel itself is well located, set back in the countryside in a very peaceful setting with English gardens and grounds to the front, and a quintessentially English feel to the building and setting. The accommodation is pleasant with generous space in the standard king rooms, including big comfortable beds and a decent size bathroom with a large shower space. The room was clean and we found the hotel to be very quiet, despite their being a wedding party on the Friday evening. The atmosphere around the hotel is excellent, very relaxed and calming as you would hope to feel in a spa venue, but not always achieved at others we have visited. Staff cannot do enough to be polite and helpful, they really are a credit to the hotel and management team. Every member of the team we encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful, which makes for a welcoming stay. The staff throughout including reception, the bar, the restaurant and the spa itself were excellent, which makes you feel a welcome and special guest. Don't get me wrong, the hotel isn't perfect and some areas a a little tired, but that adds to the character and charm of this little gem of a venue. Maybe we were lucky, however the Spa facilities never had more than 10 people in during the times we used them, whereas other venues are often packed. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay, and i wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to others. Yes, it's expensive, however all good things in life come at a cost and i found the value was reasonable given the experience and facilities.
Grace welcomed me in such a friendly way, there was already a fan in my room and I had been put in one of the rooms at the back as per my request. Dinner was really lovely (I had room service) and Breakfast the next day was genuinely exceptional. I love coming to this hotel as I know the staff look after it and me very well.
I couldn't stay longer!
Out of the way. Quiet
The facilities and food
Nothing
Location fantastic Atmosphere quiet and peaceful Room comfy bed but awkward shower room had to the over head with taps at the back so had to get cold before shower heated up but it kept turning cold then hot but ok. Spa was good so was the pool Jacuzzi a little small but ok when in bubbles quite powerful. Steam room was good but if you are with your partner you couldn't share the sauna together as they are separate and back in both men's and women's changing area. The relaxation room was great and the gym very good. Food a little disappointed and quite expensive for what it was trying to be. I don't mind spending money on quality dishes if it is worth it but most dishes lacked seasoning and had to put lots and lots of salt and pepper on. The prawn cocktail starter at £18 was very poor I have never had a deconstructed prawn cocktail it was chopped so finely and put in a small circle literally could not see a prawn also very watery and tasteless to be fair they took it of the bill but was very poor indeed. Breakfast was a buffet style plenty of options to be fair Bacon was rock hard but the other Breakfast items were fine. Staff are polite. I would revisit
Fantastic experience, upgraded room on arrival not requested, spa facilities were excellent, we went on a Tuesday so it was very quiet with minimal people in the spa, Food was excellent highly recommended the steak, bar service was second to none and the staff absolutely wanted our experience to be positive. Loved our stay and will return. Big shout out to the bar person who was excellent. Well done all !!
Visited here for a three night break. On arrival there were no reception staff and I had to ask at the bar to get someone to check us in. No draught beer available only bottles which is Bizzare for a hotel of this standard. Met the barman Daniel who was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. He couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast and dinner were faultless, very good quality and cooked exceptionally well. The restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. The food is very overpriced. £110 for a 16oz steak is what I would expect to pay in a top steak restaurant in central London. And then you have a 12.5% service charge on top! The Spa pool area and jacuzzi is tired and needs updating. The changing rooms and sauna were of good standard. The bedroom was nice and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We went to the bar after dinner one night about 2130 for a drink and nobody was there. I had to search the hotel for a member of staff for 10 minutes to no avail and ended up calling the hotel to find somebody. He was apologetic but still tried to charge a service charge for our drinks! The next night at the bar, Daniel had returned and made our night with his great service and conversation along side Liza who couldn’t do enough for us, they make a great team.
We stayed at this lovely hotel for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The reception team was welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing, and the spa facilities were excellent. The bar and cocktails were also fantastic. It’s a beautiful place, and we will happily recommend it to our friends and family.
This stay was bought for us as part of our wedding celebration. The staff were amazing throughout our stay, helpful and friendly. We had booked the restaruant for lunch for 4 adults and one 9 year old. The food was beautifully presented and extremely delicious. Our waiter was inconspicuously present. Perfect for when we toasting etc. We used the spa area which was clean and well maintained. Lovely to relax in the pool. Before checking out, I have joined the spa/gym as I throughly enjoyed my time here. Would highly recommend who needs some me time. Many thanks to all the staff
We loved the rooms and wonderful staff
We didn’t like the food it was very basic.
The staff and all team involved were very accommodating Nothing too much Lovely place xx
Wedding hospitality people bit abrupt When asked for a orange juice after wedding as all jugs empty And told no no more And Clean glass told no! Then some appeared. Apart from that all wedding coordinators To hotel team bar staff all very good.x
Beautiful location, lovely spa and friendly staff
Breakfast wasn’t as good we would have liked
I had a fantastic meal at Rowhill. The food was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was just as impressive, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. Overall, a wonderful experience and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great dining and excellent service
Went for afternoon tea and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The cocktails were also amazing! Can’t wait to return!
We had a wonderful two days of celebrating a very special birthday, organised by Emilia, the hotel’s sales and event co-ordinator. A Devon tea with friends and a lunch with friends and close family the following day , all in a dining room booked for us , everything went fantastically . We stayed at the hotel and staff were all very kind and helpful, anticipating what we needed in what was a very busy holiday weekend , nothing was too much trouble , the food was perfect, all selected beforehand and places of guests set out . They coped with 4 young children as guests without ever looking phased or stressed . The communication by Emilia and responses to my many queries were always prompt and delivered in a friendly and professional manner The rooms we stayed in were comfortable , well equipped and very clean. The pool and spa area were also well placed with a bar providing drinks and light meals . The hotel’s location is ideal for travelling from any direction via M20 or M25, being only a couple of miles from Swanley but it’s also off from the main road up a driveway with woods and gardens giving it a feel of being secluded and peaceful.Ideal for a few days breakaway or big celebration. Highly recommended
Great events team, beautiful grounds, clean, amazing service from the whole team. We chose this venue for a work event and it was by far our best yet. The team, especially Arshu and Chris were attentive to detail and helped to make the whole event run smoothly. Thank you!
Beautiful hotel in fantastic surroundings. Clean, and comfortable. We didn't use any spa facilities, we only stopped there as we were passing through. The receptionist was excellent and went above and beyond to explain every detail. Little disappointed with breakfast though, both the food and staff could have been better.
Clean and nice food
The staff in the spa was very rude and not accommodating. I paid for two 40 minute massages and was only 30 minutes. When I complained about the short massage she said she can give a discount for another massage but I wanted a full one and then spoke to me very rude
Really needs updating Poor quality Quite dirty
I had booked as a surprise Spa Day with treatments for my Husband and I, to celebreate our Anniversary When we arrived to the Spa reception, the lady that greeted us was very thorough and explained about the facilities etc She explained that we had 2 afternoon teas booked, to which I showed her my confirmation email confirming it was 1 afternoon tea and 1 two course lunch. She said she would update this on her side and took the details of what my husband was going to have for lunch We arrived to the restaurant for our lunch and it went downhill from there. We were seated and waited for our meals to arrive. The waitress bought over 2 soups and I explained that I had afternoon tea to which she didn't seem to sure about. The soup was watery, cold and no seasoning that my husband had. He finished his soup and I still hadn't even been shown the menu to choose my teas. I asked the waitress to bring the menu over and she came back to say that they didn't have me down for afternoon tea, so I showed her my confirmation email. She then walked away and 10mins later another person came and asked me to confirm my name and on the print out I could see it said afternoon teax2. I explained that we had told them at the spa reception and was told it would be updated. I then had to ask for the menu again as it still had not come and when it finally was handed to me, the waitress gave me the menu and straight away said "what tea would you like"? I had to explain that she had just given me the menu and I had barely even a second to read it! Within a couple of minutes I had someone come over again asking what tea making this feel more pressured rather than a relaxing lunch! Then when the afternoon tea arrived, one of the sandwiches was different to what was on the menu (it was coronation chicken instead of chicken and pesto as per the menu I was provided). I have a mild allergy to sultanas so I explained to the new waitress who had come over that I could not eat this and it was different to what was on the menu. She (Jade) kindly offered to change the sandwich to one of the egg ones and also offered to swap the sultana scone to a plain one. At no point did the original waitress ask about allergies. The service was slow and with it not being that busy, this was not what we would've expected. It actually left a really bad feeling as throughout the lunch I was just frustrated and not happy with the level of service being provided. Paying close to £400, this is not what we would expect nor should we have to pay so much and be left feeling like it was a waste of money The 3 beauty therapists we had for our treatments were really good and professional so I would like to say thanks to Lillie, Grace and Mozianne and also Jade at the restaurant
Not a lot
Hotel quite dated and needing a very good clean had to pay extra for the spa where nowhere is advertised the spa is charged separate so cost us an extra £40 to have a swim, half the jets in the swimming poolwasn’t working, the hairdryer in our room was burnt out when we plugged it in it made a terrible noise and filled the room of smoke!
We were really pleased to be upgraded to a king room on arrival without asking – such a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Grace on reception was especially brilliant – so helpful and genuinely warm, she is a real credit to the hotel. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, making it a very relaxing stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and overall it felt like great value for money.
The hotel is quite dated in places and would benefit from some updating, particularly the spa facilities. The therapy pool was only partially working in the evening and not working at all the following day, which was disappointing. The upstairs pool was also quite cold.
We stayed for one night and overall felt it was good value for money, especially as we were kindly upgraded to a king room on arrival without asking, a really nice touch. The staff were a real highlight. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and Grace on reception in particular was excellent, so helpful and genuinely lovely, a real credit to the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful, and our room was clean with a really comfortable bed. However, there were a few issues that let the stay down. The hotel is quite dated in places and would benefit from some updating, particularly the spa facilities. The therapy pool was only partially working in the evening and not working at all the following day, which was disappointing, and the upstairs pool was quite cold. Our room was also very hot with no option to control the temperature, even with the window open. In addition, we had an interconnecting door to the neighbouring room, which meant we could hear them talking clearly late into the night. Unfortunately, by the time this became an issue it was too late to request a move. While it was good value for the price we paid and the staff were fantastic, the issues with the facilities mean we wouldn’t choose to return.
Really nice hotel but is tired and in need of updating , if it was it would be a great place
Nice feel and great staff comfortable nights sleep
Rooms really great and very clean Breakfast was nice
Clean
We are so grateful to the wonderful team at Rowhill for making our day so very incredible. Nothing was ever too much for the wonderful team and we truly did feel like the most important people in the world on our special day. An extra huge thank you to Emilia our co-ordintaor who helped us organise everything to perfection and she is such a calming kind presence that she made the whole process a lot less stressful and definitely less scary. I have never believed when people say that your wedding day is the very best day of your life but we feel so lucky to say that for us it was and that truly wouldn’t have been able to be the case without the hard work of everyone at Rowhill. Thank you so much :)
2 stars are for reception and restaurant staff as they were lovely. My partner had a happy birthday desert plate on arrival which was nice and we’d been upgraded to a bigger room so that was very kind! Obviously between arriving and dinner you only have a couple of hours to actually relax in the spa so we wanted to be in there for as long as we could but decided to grab a quick coffee first as we hadn’t eaten so just wanted something quick. Unfortunately this wasn’t QUICK … we were the only ones in the lounge and watched the waitress flirt with the bar staff and completely forgot about making the coffee no matter how many times she clocked us looking at her, there was still nothing. I had to ask one of the managers and he did it in the end. Spa area is always lovely to look at, pools could be warmer and we would have liked to be together in the sauna but that’s fair enough if no space. Dinner we shared the steak which was over £100 and it was tiny! And full of fat with tiny slices, definitely nowhere near £100 worth, but again the restaurant staff were so very kind. Breakfast was bog standard, just like you’d get in a travelodge but not bad. Massage was a let down unfortunately. £160 and again like previous reviews, either just a young newbie or someone who doesn’t really want to be there. There wasn’t much to the massage just very standard, the room was freezing and so was the girls hands! Then sadly during my facial, the time I’m supposed to have my head and neck massage.. she was on her PHONE!! I had one hand scratching the top of my forehead in the same place and I could hear the clicking of her phone in my ear! I was absolutely horrified tbh especially when you pay all that money. Then in the last 10 seconds she put her phone down and put both hands on my head and massaged around my earlobes then she was done so it made it very clear that she had been on it. Such a shame but never mind. All in all we spent easily over £1000 with rowhill just for 1 overnight stay that was really not worth it. There was a time the experience at rowhill was amazing! Definitely needs some changes.
The location is amazing. The hotel is near a field with horses which is just lovely. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. I would like to say how lovely Jade and Lilly were and a couple of others, but unfortunately I didn’t get their names. They were so friendly, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
I did feel that the hotel could do with a little upgrade. Some parts looked worn and needs attention. Another area was that the jets in the spa weren’t working so I was unable to use them. They did work on Friday but Saturday afternoon and Sunday they didn’t.
The gardens and the facilities
Mattress was worn, management offered an alternative room for the 2nd night
From start to finish our spa day was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the relaxing experience we expected. On arrival we were given vouchers to use for tea and coffee, but despite asking three separate times if anyone could serve us, we were ignored. In the end we had to take our drinks in takeaway cups into the spa area, which certainly didn't set the tone for a luxury experience. Unfortunately, it didn't improve from there. The hot tub was out of action and the pool areas were visibly dirty, which made it difficult to relax. As part of the twilight package a '40 minute' treatment was included and this was cut short, the treatment itself was good but felt rushed and not what we paid for. Our package included a 'two course dinner' but this was more like a light lunch. One of the 'main' options was bruschetta, which we found surprising as a main course. The other option was a chicken Caesar salad, which we were asked to pay extra for if we actually wanted the chicken added. We had to actually go for dinner on the way home after spending nearly £300 for four rubbish hours! Avoid, dated and not worth any money!
The spa is the best part but that like the rest of the property needs a lot of attention. The staff are what makes this hotel a 4 star otherwise I would say it’s a 3 star.
Needs a good refurbishment. My full body massage was over £100 and I came out looking like I had been dragged through a hedge backwards and I felt like it too, it felt rushed and the therapist was rough I had to tell her several times to not press so hard. My partner had an Indian head massage which he said was pathetic. Food was over priced and such small portions. Our room (Poppy) had hardly any tea or milk and it was just dumped on the sow by the kettle not placed in the box nicely like it should be. The shower gel was empty and shampoo nearly empty I had to call down to reception from my mobile because they do not provide landline phones on the room to ask for some replacements. The shower flooded the bathroom it was literally a small swimming pool if I hadn’t of noticed I could have slipped and hurt myself. The mattress was uncomfortable I had a spring digging in me all night and the radiator was making a terrible noise all night.
Booked for afternoon tea and what a disappointment it was. Menu states a selection of 4 sandwiches, we ended up with 3 small fish finger size sandwiches not even 2 slices of bread each! The scones were nice but extra small and the other cakes were a one bite offering. Definitely not worth the price that they charge, it has gone down hill rapidly as I have been before and it was far better. Would not recommend and wouldn’t go back it’s a total con.
We had another lovely stay at at Rowhill Grange Hotel & Spa. The location is set in wonderful grounds and is central to most venues for South East & Central London. The staff are outstanding in politeness and exceptional in making your stay very comfortable. Nothing was to much trouble, when asked for extras for your room comfort they either go them straight away, or they were sent to your room immediately. The dinning experience was amazing, melt in the mouth steak and an abundance of prawns in the cocktail. Compliment to the chef. We did not use any spa facilities as we were there for only a two night stay due to a family event, but all the staff are well turned out and aim to please their guest. We throughly enjoyed our stay and am sure we will be back. Thank you!!
We stayed here about 11 years ago and loved it. Sadly, this visit was the complete opposite. It doesn’t appear the hotel has had any updates in that time. The whole place feels tired, with worn carpets and wallpaper peeling in the restaurant. The spa area was dated and not as clean as expected. Our dining experience was equally disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for bread as a starter, only for our mains to arrive three minutes later. The £28 chicken dish was half a breast with a small amount of purée and a few sprout leaves. Even after a £9 side, we went to bed hungry. The restaurant manager was very apologetic and clearly embarrassed by the experience. Breakfast was average, and again the run-down restaurant affected the overall experience. I raised these issues at checkout, but felt it was important to share so others don’t waste their time or money. Such a shame, a very disappointing and expensive weekend.
We live close to RG and decided to eat there last night, hoping for a really good experience and expecting to pay accordingly. We really want RG to be a top-class place to visit and bring/meet friends. The menu (although the physical menu contained a number of typos/spelling mistakes) was reassuringly small and of promising quality. The starters and mains we had were all extremely good, so full marks to the chef. The staff were generally attentive and helpful too. That said, we noted a number of things the restaurant (RG’s) could fix to match the price, menu and setting: - we waited half an hour for our pre-dinner drinks - they could do better than the small plastic flowers on the tables - the piped music was poor and cheesy - the dining room is surprisingly noisy/echoey and lacks anything to deaden sound - lighting could be more relaxing or even romantic - I thought (as non resident diners) our coats might have been taken to be hung So 10/10 for the food but 6/10 for the experience overall. Shame, it’s such a lovely setting and potentially the go to dining experience in the Dartford/Swanley area.
I had booked a mother daughter spa day for my daughters 18th birthday and WOW what a huge disappointment!! Which is so sad as I'd hoped it to would be an extra special birthday treat. Nearly £400 for half a spa day with a 55 minute treatment, (mine lasted 42 minutes from start to finish ), and a 2 course lunch which was off the budget menu!! Honestly I have never felt so ripped off, they even charged me extra on top of the £400 to put chicken on our Caesar salads. Seriously?!?! After paying £400?!?!?! Other diners were being brought much nicer meals and I just can't help but feel we were mugged off. I flagged up my concern as it wasn't clear there was a supplement charge "for adding protein" and no other items on the menu had a supplement charge. Still nothing was deducted from the bill even though the staff member completely agreed! In essence I came away feeling that I'd been mugged off. My partner said for the same price he had bought us dinner, bed and breakfast with spa access at Eastwell Manor so I would personally spend your money there! I will not be going back to Rowhill Grange again. I think to be honest its an over priced let down. Avoid at all costs!!
We have had the most wonderful “glo” spa getaway. From the moment we checked in, Grace from reception was attentive and answered all our questions. Our room was well appointed and had an excellent, really powerful rainforest style shower. The spa facilities are good, with two pools, a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There was a photo of an outside pool on the website but there isn’t one here which was a bit misleading, possibly it’s from a partner hotel. The downstairs therapy pool was lovely. They allow bar drinks in the spa area which is a nice touch. We chose to eat in the bar area in the evening and booked a table there. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The cocktails are really good. Our food was delicious. Our sleep was excellent and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The following day we had a lovely breakfast, again very attentive staff. We both then had a Swedish massage, which was heavenly! Nicola was my therapist, she was fantastic. We chilled out in the relaxation room before using the spa facilities again, before checking out. Really excellent spa break stay. The staff are incredibly professional here and very helpful. Will definitely return.
My husband had booked an overnight stay with a Swedish body massage each as my Christmas present. When we arrived we went straight to the spa for the massage, it was lovely and very relaxing but definitely not worth £110pp! The spa receptionist was very friendly. Personally I have been to a lot better spa’s that are bigger and more things. There is a constant loud noise from the waterfall which I didn’t mind but it was loud and not very relaxing. The jacuzzi isn’t very big and a therapy pool which could have been a bit warmer and a medium size pool. They did not have loungers which is normally what you have at a spa they were more chairs which again wasn’t very relaxing. We checked into the room, we stayed in Rhododendron which the room was lovely, bathroom could have done with finishing touches like paint coming off in areas etc but didn’t affect our stay. You can hear every sound of the rooms joined to you. Not sure if we just had loud people around us or you can hear that in every room. Luckily I wear earplugs so didn’t affect my sleep! The service for me was a massive let down! We ordered x2 drinks at the bar and took 30mins to arrive! There was only a young lad on the bar and looked quite flustered when I asked if I could order a drink. The service on the evening again was a let down, took them a while to come to our table to order drinks & food then when our mains came out my husbands order was wrong. It took them a further 25mins to sort out. They did bring us some pork scratchings complimentary whilst we waited. The food was lovely but very overpriced our bill was £141 for x2 glasses of wine, bread & olives, x1 fillet steak (£46) x1 flat iron steak (£34), creamed spinach as a side. After again taking so long for them to clean the plates away and asking if we wanted a dessert we decided to just ask for the bill. The breakfast again was lovely quality food it was the service again that was a massive let down. We ordered x2 eggs Benedict (£3pp supplement extra). There was some confusion with this as when it arrived we said we think it’s the gentleman’s on the next table as they had ordered before us. The lady came across quite rude and was adamant it was my husband’s. We then waited for mine for at least 20/25mins by this point my husband had finished his so I had got some of continental breakfast so I could eat with him whilst I was waiting for mine. When talking to other guests this was the same theme for the weekend they had also experienced so not sure if they were just short staffed or inexperienced. The total stay was around £600 for 1 nights stay with spa, evening meal and breakfast! So I expect outstanding service. Overall we had a lovely stay despite the service. I will be emailing the hotel to ensure they are aware and ensure no one else is caught off guard of the service that lets the hotel down.
This place is in need of a makeover. It is tired and rundown , the spa pool was cold and actually everywhere was cold including the restaurant. My treatment times were incorrect, resulting in my treatments being cut short. For the high cost I expected more. My afternoon tea was not good with the most basic sandwiches which were stale and had barely any filling, I was also not given the full afternoon tea as was on a spa day. My therapist was lovely, but the rest of my experience was a real disappointment.
Spent a spa day here and really enjoyed it. We had a deal of £200 each to include 2 treatments pp, afternoon tea and 6 hours spa use. We had a warm welcome on arrival and a tour of the spa before we got changed and used the pools. It was fairly busy but there was plenty of seating. Pools were warm and the sauna was fantastic. I had a really great massage from Magdalena, she sorted out my sore back, and a good facial with Maisie. There are quiet, chill out rooms for when you have had enough of the pools, and staff are very helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Rowhill Utopia spa. It gets criticism in some reviews here but I couldn’t really fault our time there today.
The hotel, in total, is a good place to stay for spa and treatments. Several comments on improvements. We ordered food on our arrival at the bar but it was missed, ultimately the order came through after a long delay. First night meal at the restaurant was ordered but my partner's meal was not made with lactose free dairy. I had to start my meal while waiting for the hotel to sort out my partner's meal. The restaurant experience for the second night was perfect so 10/10. The hotel room we stayed was Primrose and it was lovely. As we were staying for two night we expected the room to be attended to while we went out for the second day. Unfortunately the hotel staff did not attend to our room. We did receive an apology during our check out but too little too late. The spa area is clean and well maintained, but the constant noise of the waterfall may not be to everyone's taste. The treatments we received were good too. In summary I would recommend the hotel for couple's stay, but would give 3 stars for some of the failings.
Beautiful. Stunning lodges- really big and spacious! Held a hen party in the lodge - was amsizng. Tranquil and relaxing x
Hotel was clean Spa was clean The resturant and bar manager Jacinto was very helpful, hardworking and always understanding. We had a nice weekend break, had a few issues with food on the 1st night which was a let down but we were looked after by Jacinto.
Well, where to start... From the moment you walk into this 19th century summer house. Its charm and decor catches your eyes straight away. The building itself represents the unique great british architecture. Upon arrival, you are greated by the wonderful reception team, each and everyone of them friendly, smiley and helpful. A perfect first impression. The rooms are spotless and cosey, and everything you could ask for and more. Utopia spa. As soon as you step foot in the spa, you cirtainly dont feel like your in swanley, the roman style interior and the most incredible facilities make it a bloody relaxing afternoon. Only negative is once your in, Its incredibly hard to get out due to how flipping cool it is. I also got my hair cut during my stay. And reccomend all guests to do the same, If i lived closer i would be there every month to get my hair cut. Tina beats any high street turkish barber (which isnt hard) not just on cuts, but the overall experince, Anyone local to rowhill should defienlty try this salon out. Onto the bar. Yes its perfect, like everything else. Quailty food, pefect selection of single malt whiskies. And the decor is perfect, Is summer you can sit outside, and get a nice view of the lovely grounds. RG restaurants, Absolute spot on british food. British ingredients, british menu. Its bloody lovely. All staff are awsome, infact, the most friendly bunch of people you will find in a hotel. Mad to think that you feel like ur in another world away from the busy streets of london, but infact ur just down the road from the capital. the rowhill effect This is great british hospitaltiy at its finest I would like the thank everyone at the rowhill for making my stay so special. It really was. To the next time i visit. Ben
I attended a spa day with a friend as a treat in the lead up to having my baby. While the facilities were lovely, and the staff seemed friendly, I paid £160 for a luxurious mother to be massage as a treat before the baby arrives. I have had a lot of massages before and I am concerned that no health information was taken, particularly in light of being pregnant. I would classify it as a health and safety concern for pregnant women who may/may not know what pregnancy related conditions are not safe for massage. There was no sense of the massage being tailored to the needs of the individual - no question of any pain, discomfort, areas which would benefit from a massage etc. It felt rushed and fell far below the standards of what I would expect from a pregnancy massage. I have had much better massages for less than half the price, so I really wouldn’t recommend splashing out on this, I’ve been left really disappointed. Unfortunately, when requesting a partial refund, there was then a back and forth about the amount that constituted a 25% refund which was frustrating.
We booked the hotel as it is a convenient meeting point for my parents and in-laws to celebrate my 40th birthday. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend the hotel and I'm sure we'll be back! Keep up the great work - and thank you for signing Happy Birthday to me at dinner!
I’ve visited Rowhill Grange a few times over the years. On this occasion I was here for an overnight spa break and it’s the first time I’ve been back in a few years. My first impression in stepping inside was ‘what have the done to the decor?!’ It used to have a cosy feel but now it feels cold, soulless, corporate and dated. With pale laminate flooring, textured wallpaper and horrible silver and turquoise ‘wall art’ the bar/lounge area felt like something from the year 2000. The restaurant has similar with dated artwork, and felt cold and characterless. Despite being an old and beautiful country house, the interior has no character left, other than a couple of old fireplaces which weren’t lit. We might as well have been in a modern, city centre chain hotel, rather than what should be a cosy country retreat. It needs rich, warm tones, dark wooden floors, rugs and panelling. Decor aside, it’s a nice hotel. Dinner was delicious, staff friendly, bed comfy. The approach as you drive to the hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds and outdoor space. The spa hasn’t changed in all the years I’ve been visiting. The pool space is very nice but is looking a little tired in places eg. Bubbling paintwork around the pool area, loungers are old. Overall it just needs some investment to bring it home to date so it can compete with other spa hotels.
Nice location, lovely bar and restaurant
No cold water from bathroom sink Minimal.tea coffee making materials Cold jacuzzi in spa Sauna within changing room.so cannot use as a couple Dirty hallway and bedroom carpets Lumpy pillows This was my 3rd and last time staying here
I booked a spa break at Rowhill Grange Spa and Hotel through SpaSeekers and the experience was completely misrepresented. The spa was small, poorly maintained, and unclean. We found dirty plastic cups around the jacuzzi, cloudy water in both the pool and jacuzzi, rubbish bags by spa exits, and dirty floors and drain covers. There were no loungers by the pool and seating was limited and uncomfortable. The hotel itself was also below standard, with worn carpets, shabby paintwork, and a cracked bath and grubby sink plug in our room. We raised our concerns with the spa manager, who refused any reimbursement and offered no apology. Due to the unacceptable conditions, we checked out early and did not use the overnight stay or breakfast included in the package. Although SpaSeekers later issued only a partial refund, this does not reflect the extent of the issues or the fact that much of the service was unused. The experience fell far below what was advertised. I would not recommend SpaSeekers based on misleading promotional material and poor resolution when problems arise.
I hosted a celebration here in January 2026. From early stages planning to on the day execution, everyone was so helpful and attentive. Big shout out to Emilia for all the pre-planning help and to the wonderful team who ran the day and made sure we were well looked after.
The staff are very helpful. Parking is good. The rooms have not changed much since my last visit in 2014.
The restaurant needs a different menu and fix the aircon. It was warmer outside.
We have just been for the worst afternoon tea I have ever been served. We took my nana for her 90th birthday and the food was well below par for a very expensive afternoon tea. Sandwiches were dry, chicken pesto had little taste except oil and the egg sandwich was covered in the green oil from the pesto. Clotted cream was sour and split and the smell of cheese was very strong. Complained to waiter who agreed and apologised and fetched some more cream, this again was off with a strong smell of cheese. New waiter came over agreed it smelt bad and apologised and came back having spoken to the chef who told him it’s not off but a new clotted cream that has a sour smell. Unacceptable, clotted cream definitely doesn’t smell of cheese. You would not drink cheesy milk or cream so how is that acceptable? Someone else came to ask if everything was okay and we said about the clotted cream and he just shrugged us off and walked away? Really disappointing and won’t be returning or recommending. We have been offered a return visit for 2 despite paying for 4 and only half the tea being edible.
