La ubicación es buena, a 2 o 3 calles de Union Square. En la esquina para el tranvía típico de San Francisco.

La habitación es grande aunque se ve ya un poco antigua. La cama grande es cómoda. No obstante, se oye un poco de ruido de la calle.

The location and the price were perfect for a short stay. The rooms AC wasn't working so they gave us the option to switch rooms or bring up fans. We took the fans which arrived to our room in minutes and cooled things off quickly. They also had a few filtered water stations.

The bed was more firm than my liking but nothing I couldn't deal with for a few nights.

El hotel resulta bastante anticuado y, en mi opinión, demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Las instalaciones necesitan claramente una remodelación y una actualización. Había un notable olor a humedad y gran parte del hotel está cubierto de moquetas que se veían viejas y sucias, lo que daba una sensación general de falta de limpieza y mantenimiento. También me sorprendió que, teniendo en cuenta el precio, no hubiera ni siquiera una botella de agua de cortesía en la habitación. Además, el personal de recepción únicamente hablaba inglés, algo que puede dificultar bastante la comunicación para los huéspedes internacionales. En general, la relación calidad-precio me pareció bastante mala y el establecimiento está muy por debajo de lo que esperaba por el precio pagado.

Staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Fast elevator. Comfy beds. Nice location (though SF overall is not what it used to be). Great value for the money.

Fitness room is small with little equipment. Had to go to a different floor to get drinking water. They have filtered water in the lobby, but no glasses/cups/carafes there, so you have to bring yours from the room. I've been to other hotels where they have carafes right there, so you can grab a carafe on your way in in the evening and have drinking water for the night/morning.

Great hotel, nice location, comfortable beds and excellent service. Very quiet, no loud noise from outside and inside.

Spacios, comfortable room. Very nice personal. Location is very good. Outside streets are quite,safe and clean, accourding to common San Francisco situation. Great public transport access. Veru nice hotel at all. Wothout 10 minutes walk plenty of restaurant to choose.

It is not about tha hotel, but about high priced car parkings. The cheapest parking we found was 38$ per 24 hours. It was 4 blocks from hotel. It was good, that there is an opportuniry to park at the hotel enter to unload baggage.

The Orchard hotel is beautiful. It is centrally located and is walkable to most city sites. The room was completely renovated and well appointed. The bathroom was beautiful. I can’t say enough about the amazing bedding. So comfortable!!! Highly recommend!!!

Location and affordable price.

The toilet washroom didn’t flush very well. And there is a foul smell in the washroom not sure if it’s in the pipe or what. I gave a feedback in the front desk that it smells bad in the washroom even if it is clean.

The room was very comfortable, quiet, spacious and very clean. An oversized bathroom was a nice change and plenty of towels provided. The staff was very polite greeted you when you arrived and when we departed every time. They always had a smile on their face. The staff was able to suggest local restaurants. This place is very central to a lot of good restaurants around the block. The location is a few steps from the Powell and Hyde trolley car. We will definitely return and stay at this hotel.

Good location very near to Union Square and Chinatown walking distance.

No rejuvenation over the ageing facilities but I guess some guests like the classic novelty which is what makes this hotel difference from most of the other contemporary hotels here.

Although not super fancy, the room was large, comfortable, and clean.

Returning to this beautiful, clean and well managed hotel with very attentive staff was a pleasure. The hotel is centrally located in a safe part of the city convenient for business. Special thanks to General Manager Klaus who took special care of several last minute requests! Highly recommended.

La chambre est spacieuse et c’était très propre. Il y a un distributeur d’eau à la réception ce qui est très pratique. Nous avons fait livrer un colis Amazon à l’hôtel la réception nous l’a gardé merci beaucoup ! Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages jusqu’au temps de notre vol le soir. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Location was great. We used public transportation but also walked for the 4 days we stayed. We arrived early and the hotel kept our luggage while we went sightseeing. Around 2 o'clock we got a text saying our room was ready. Would stay there again.

We stayed at the Orchard Hotel for 3 nights in July during our stay in San Francisco. We had a Grand Deluxe King room that we found to be very roomy for a city hotel. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to Chinatown, Pier 39 & Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghiradelli Square and Lombard street. The hills are STEEP though, so if you choose not to walk, there is a cable car steps from the hotel that goes to the wharf. You can use public transportation to get to places a bit further away, like the Presidio/Golden Gate Bridge, but we chose Uber to make it easier. The only caveat is that the hotel needs to update their website - there is no longer turn down service or a concierge, neither of which would have mattered to us, but since it was advertised we expected it. So, just a bit misleading. However, what they did offer was great and we would definitely stay here again if we return to San Francisco.

I had an outstanding experience with The Orchard Hotel and their incredible staff. During my stay, I purchased a medical device that unfortunately arrived after I had already returned to Chile. The hotel kindly received and safely stored the package for several weeks while I looked for a solution. Collins Chu and the entire Front Office team went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. They provided package measurements and photos, coordinated with me through multiple emails, printed a FedEx shipping label, and even handed the package to the FedEx driver for pickup. Their kindness, patience, professionalism, and willingness to help turned what had become a very stressful situation into a successful outcome. This level of customer service is truly exceptional and something I will always remember. I highly recommend The Orchard Hotel—not only because of its excellent location and comfortable accommodations, but especially because of the outstanding people who work there. Thank you again to Collins and the entire Orchard Hotel team!

Was surprised that the hotel charged my credit card $50 per day per room as a deposit on top of the standard rate. They said that the deposit will be returned after checkout. Booking.com should have advised me of this practice.

Loved this hotel! So quiet on the 10th floor. Breakfast from 6.30 am to 10.30 am. I got a late check out for no extra charge. Close to Union Square, financial district and street cable cars right outside of hotel. Close to Starbucks, Macy's and restaurants. I used street cable cars for transportation that was fun. Affordable and safe for Solo travelers.

We were delightfully surprised at how wonderful the hotel is. We were greeted at the check-in desk with a smile and a warm welcome. We arrived several hours before check in; however, we were able to get into our room right away. The room was beautifully appointed and was spacious compared to. other hotels. I’ve stayed out in San Francisco. The room had a pod coffee maker and a mini fridge as well as a safe. There is a carafe in the room which can be used at the filtered water stations on several floors of the hotel. The location is close to Union Square; however, it is up a steep hill for those who are walking. Overall, I loved the hotel and would definitely stay at the Orchard again!!!
